“The moment when Emi is born: what does it feel like to see life for the first time? Well, maybe it would feel like a nursery, with a moon and the stars hanging from the ceiling of a nursery.” — Shannon Tindle
Thanks to the baby kaiju who came into Sato's life, if not, he'd still be an immature Ultraman who ignored his responsibilities. For me, this movie really helped Sato develop his personal growth. Not to mention the animation, especially the final battle, which reminds me of the Spider-Verse animation style. Besides, this ultraman design is also similar to ultraman powered, which I used to watch as a kid.
And the end credits really make me eager for the sequel. Please make it happen, Netflix.
[R/n goes up to the thermostat for years she wondered if the myths about dads and thermostats were true, so she did the unthinkable...she adjusted the the house's temperature.
a second later, Kenji and Prof. Sato stuck their heads out of different rooms.]
Kenji, was taking a shower he has a towel around his waist and shampoo in his hair.
Prof. Sato was in the study with a book in one hand and a half eaten bagel in the other.
Kenji & Prof Sato: Who touched the thermostat?!
R/n, stares at the father and son dumbfounded: ...Holy crap, it is true!
You've heard of dying and coming back wrong, but what about dying and something else comes back and that something else is good. That something else is powerful beyond the human imagination and wants to make the world a better place. It wants to defend those who can't defend themselves and inspire peace, but it's still Something Else.
