Comments: Okay, now the RNG is just teasing me (or possibly being mean). Hatch out three clutches of tree dragons in a row, the first of which is from the 3rd generation of my naturally occurring primal eyes line, which I've mostly been putting back on the nest as soon as she turns RTB again, trying to get my 4th generation. RNG declines to do so, yet again, and then gives the next two clutches both a primal-eyed hatchling. Gee, thanks, RNG *through gritted teeth*.

Though, yes, I am of course still delighted to have a second primal-eyed tree dragon in two days, because wow, such a low chance of it! Just really, really wishing one of them had been on the right clutch, dammit. *Sighs and forgives RNG*

anyways thoughts on new breed: I don’t mind them that much! they’re a bit boring and I keep thinking they’re ancients / expecting them to have line breaking genes lol but idk, not a bad boring. i love the hatchling pose and the F pose is nice. I kind of despise the M pose because it has the same issues as undertide M / aether M / auraboa M to me (that negative space man…), but the F pose more than makes up for that to me so i’ll probably get a few

#out of all breeds on site undertide M is my least favorite pose ever #which is saying something because i HATE faes #if they’d just bumped up the wing just a teeny bit to fill that negative space it’d be better #but it’s alright. see on the other hand i LOVE banescales #especially bane M #so the F pose is great for me lol #rambles #not my fav breed not my least fav breed but it’s good to see a modern again so soon #soon being relative. since i remember the post bogsneak drought all too well #i wish they were a bit more like their hatchling pose tho #hatchling gives me dachshund vibes and imagine if the adults were Long and squat like that

new breed is mid as hell as predicted but i did hatch a nightshade/aqua xyx out of one of the free eggs so at least that’s exciting

#never agreed with complaints about undertides being too busy/bad silhouette/confusing to look at etc at all #but i do feel all of that so strongly towards these things #esp on fpose and/or with dark primary colors #they just become a muddy blobby mess of color… maybe thats just me but idk #cute hatchlings at least love the shells on hatchling medusa very charming

with every breed release that comes with eggy i ask myself the question again "are rhain and alumina gonna adopt ANOTHER orphan hatchling?"
