The recent announcement of staff says that the user base is ~25% LGBTQ+. The user polls are showing that the actual percentage is >90%, but some people say that polls made by blogs run by LGBTQ+ members are not representative of all the user base.

To get more data, I, as one of the few cishet people on this site, am going to make the poll as well.

I think this person on reddit summed up the youtube adblocker situation perfectly. my reaction to this is not "oh man guess I'll watch ads." its, "well, I guess I'll just do something more productive with my time." I highly doubt any adblock user is going to willingly go back to watching ads. so what actually happens is youtube loses a functionally tiny amount of its userbase--because adblockers weren't even losing them a significant amount of money in the first place(!)--and a bunch of adblock users move on to something else. what a fantastic waste of time and effort

the home-buying process is so stressful, I’m not sure if it’s better or worse that our local market is so “hot” that it’s standard to have offers due within 4-6 days of listing. I feel like, no shade to anybody, but the sheer amount of people posting these sorta takes have collectively decided fanfiction/fanon interpretations of these characters are canonical — If you want a male re character who isn’t promiscuous … maybe go w Chris? Or Carlos? Hell even William Birkin. Birkin canonically was married and had a family with his coworker.

Leon is notably depicted as promiscuous, he’s the poster boy for a male-oriented video game. You guys have red tinted glasses on. Capcom isn’t gonna make Leon Kennedy a sweet lover boy, they’re gonna make him however the American male audience will best enjoy. Which is a badass promiscuous agent.
