Wei Wuxian is a secret author and wrote two romance books: 'No Apologies and Thank Yous' and 'Our Song'. He based these stories on his own love life from him and his husband.

What he didn't expect was that his nephews and son would fight over which couple was superior in a poll.

They would write pages on pages of evidence of why the couple they were supporting was superior. Even though he felt happy they loved the book that much, there was no need to go to such lengths because in essence they were both made from the same people.

When he told them as such, Jin Ling was frozen, Ouyang Zizhen jumped in glee because he always had such suspicions, Lan Sizhui was unsurprised (he secretly voted for both ships) and Lan Jingyi fainted.

Lan Wangji absolutely cries during sex

Sometimes when he and Wei Ying are moving together as one joined in every possible way there is (except he wants mot he's always wanted more, he'd burrow straight into Wei Ying if he could) he marvels at the realization that right now in this moment Wei Ying is here with him and most importantly alive

And he takes Wei Ying's face between his two hands, stroking the wrinkles that have started to appear by his eyes, something entirely new and magical, and he thinks about how after so many years, so many every days, and so many night terrors where he wakes to the fear that Wei Ying is gone, but no he's still here. He always will be.

And without any say the droplets start to fall from his eyes as their movements become slow and tender.

His fingers tremble as he strokes along the sides of Wei Ying's face, even as a stray tear lands on Wei Ying's cheek to mimic the ones that leave tracks down Lan Wangji's face.

And Wei Ying, who after so many years of holding and reassuring his husband that this is real smiles his softest, sweetest smile. The newest one that started when he'd moved into the Jingshi and finally accepted that he had a home, forever and always.

He lifts his head and kisses the tears before they can fall, tender and sweet, his breath hitching to drown out Lan Wangji's quiet sobs as they move faster, to that place where it's just them, only them, for a moment that lasts all of eternity and forever.

And Wei Ying presses Lan Wangji's head against his chest, whispering the words I'm here, I'm here, I'll never leave you again, until finally Lan Wangji comes while listening to the sound Wei Ying's (beautiful, perfect, alive) heartbeat.

Wei Wuxian is laughing at A-Yuan grubbing on Jiang Cheng and Wen Qing trying to get him off of the grumpy grape. Jiang Yanli is giving Wen Ning some soup.
