How to improve client engagement Using Veterinary software?
The development and prosperity of your firm depends on cultivating excellent customer connections in the present fast-paced veterinary market. A potent way to improve client satisfaction and expedite processes is through veterinary booking software. These resources can revolutionize your interactions with pet owners, from individualized association to easy appointment booking. The booking system for veterinarians is as crucial as for the other providers, it helps to streamline their operations and improves their clientele as well.
Tumblr media
This blog will highlight doable tactics for enhancing client interaction with veterinary software, Ensuring your practice meets and surpasses client expectations.
Understanding the need for client engagement:
In every industry, it is vital to comprehend the wants of the customers and provide them with the appropriate amenities. The ability of a veterinary hospital to engage with its patients is critical to its success. It includes establishing enduring relationships and trust in addition to providing pet owners with top-notch medical care.
Engaged consumers are more likely to stick with treatment programs, come back for regular sessions, and recommend you to others. In a household where pets are treated like family, strong emotional ties and effective communication are essential. Veterinarian clinics may enhance pet health results, cultivate client loyalty, and enhance their reputation by acknowledging the significance of client engagement.
Improving client engagement using software:
Veterinarian software greatly increases client involvement by improving convenience, expediting communication, and strengthening bonds between pet owners and veterinarian clinics. Pet health portals, automated reminders, and personalized messaging are some of the technologies that help clients feel more connected and knowledgeable about the care of their pets. Features that lower barriers to access and promote frequent encounters, such as telemedicine and online appointment scheduling, provide unmatched convenience. Furthermore, the software's loyalty programs, and instructional materials enhance long-term dedication and trust. Veterinary software improves pet owners' experiences by streamlining administrative duties and putting the requirements of clients first, which increases pet owners' loyalty and improves pet health.
Following are some potential ways it can help the vets as well as users:
Providing Streamlined scheduling:
For veterinary practices, streamlined appointment scheduling is revolutionary because it makes it simpler than ever for patients to make, change, or cancel appointments whenever it's most convenient for them. Veterinary software allows pet owners to access online booking systems that are easy to use, removing the need for back-and-forth phone conversations. Automated reminders guarantee that customers never miss an appointment, which lowers last-minute cancellations and no-show rates. Additionally, practices can optimize their calendar, maximizing productivity while accommodating urgent cases, thanks to real-time scheduling updates. This smooth approach guarantees a more efficient workflow for the veterinary team while also improving the client experience and operational productivity.
Automated Follow-up:
The pet owners must keep track of the pet's health and the vaccination reminders. Veterinary software possess a feature of automated follow-ups to show a practice's dedication to providing top-notch care. Following consultations, procedures, or treatments, these technologies automatically contact clients to make sure pet owners feel appreciated and supported. Follow-ups can take the form of tailored messages regarding the next steps in a care plan, prescription reminders, or recovery advice. The client-vet connection is strengthened by this proactive communication, which also fosters trust. Furthermore, automatic follow-ups save staff time so they may concentrate on in-clinic duties while still engaging with clients regularly. Such considerate and prompt contacts improve loyalty, pleasure, and the entire pet care experience.
Patient Portal:
Enhancing client communication without committing your phone lines is guaranteed with a pet portal. It is more probable that pet owners will remain involved and take an active role in their pet's care when they have access to their pet's medical history, immunization records, online appointment scheduling, and prescription refill requests through a pet portal.
It is easier for many clients to accommodate their pet's care into their hectic schedules when they handle these duties themselves. An added benefit is that it relieves your already overworked customer service agents (CSRs) of tedious everyday duties. However, the jobs must be easily available through your technology.
Pet’s Precious Day: Birthday
Pet birthday reminders are a fun feature of veterinary software that gives client interaction a more individualized feel. By automatically alerting pet owners about their pet's big day, such practices can strengthen emotional bonds and produce cherished memories. Personalized greetings, special offers on goods or services, or even a free treat can be combined with these reminders. Pet birthday celebrations increase client loyalty and pleasure by demonstrating to them that their physician cherishes their relationship with their pet. This modest but considerate approach makes veterinary clinics stand out and transforms everyday encounters into deep relationships.
Easy Payment Process:
Improving customer satisfaction in veterinary clinics requires a simple payment procedure. Veterinary software streamlines payments by providing several practical choices, including contactless transactions, mobile wallets, and Internet payments. Either in-person or remotely, clients may swiftly and securely settle bills, cutting down on wait times and stress. Additionally, certain systems enable subscriptions or payment plans, which helps pet owners control the expenses of continuing care. By simplifying the payment process, procedures not only increase operational effectiveness but also create a favourable impression that lasts, guaranteeing that customers feel appreciated and assisted at every stage.
Social Media Engagement:
One of the most effective ways to increase customer engagement and improve a practice's online visibility is through social media integration in veterinary software. Through the smooth integration of veterinary software with social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, practices may share updates, promotions, instructional materials, and touching pet tales straight from their system. By sharing information, leaving reviews, and interacting with posts, clients can increase the practice's visibility. Furthermore, without requiring extra work, practices may maintain a constant and planned online presence with the use of technologies like analytics and automated post-scheduling. This integration highlights the practice's knowledge and concern, encourages community engagement, and improves the client-vet relationship while drawing in new business.
In a nutshell, veterinary software plays a critical role in enhancing customer engagement and building enduring relationships between pet owners and veterinary businesses. Practices may improve the client experience and make sure pet owners feel appreciated and informed by utilizing features like automatic follow-ups, pet health portals, personalized communication, and expedited appointment scheduling. Social media integration and simple payment procedures are two other technologies that can improve relationships and encourage community involvement. In addition to increasing operational effectiveness, veterinarian offices that use these cutting-edge solutions foster a proactive pet care culture that benefits both the pets' health and the owners' enjoyment. Veterinary software is a wise investment that will pay off in the form of long-term success, loyalty, and trust. If you are interested in making desirable changes to your practice and building clientele then go for Winkdoc, veterinary clinic software, it is embedded with all the latest features. [ID: Ask from @storiesandsquirrels, transcribed in alt text]
also: link to Cow Lore
There's one major misconception here I've gotta correct before answering earnestly; Holsteins do need Super Duper Food. This is one of their major problems as a breed, you need to give them high quality feed for high quantity, low quality milk.
But! That said! These are valid questions that deserve real responses. In spite of the quick correction, I actually want to answer them as you phrased them because I think it would be more illuminating. I'm going to try and summarize them as I go along;
Question 1: "Why wouldn't we want to use The Most Efficient Cow?"
The simplest answer is disease. My ""prediction"" came true, and bird flu has mutated to spread extremely easily through the infected udders of Holsteins. No one has died of bovine-contracted HPAI yet, but with Brainworm Bobby and his love of raw milk in charge of the CDC...
well. my last prediction was prophetic. let's hope this one's not.
Minmaxing a breed for one specific purpose always means intensive inbreeding. Like I mentioned, 9 million Holsteins are genetically equivalent to 60 individuals. A more genetically diverse population is one that will be better at preventing disease outbreaks, and reducing their severity when they do.
And what even is the Most Efficient Milk Cow? If you're only selecting for pure milk production to drive down its cost, you get a breed of cattle that lacks every other important trait that would make it good livestock;
They get sick more often, due to inbreeding depression and lack of physical fitness, requiring more antibiotics and veterinary care.
They are bad parents who will need more human intervention to birth and raise calves
They won't be good grazers, meaning they need a specific food grown for them, increasing how much "functional" land is actually dedicated to cattle husbandry.
Their carcass won't yield as much meat, so more cattle have to be raised and slaughtered to meet demand.
Their bodies will burn out much quicker than a healthier animal, meaning you need to replace your livestock more often.
When it comes to living beings, "efficiency" is "fragility." It's not a stable system to begin with.
Even with the pure logic aside, just, step back here and look at the situation with a heart. We'd be making unhealthy, short-lived animals lacking critical instincts to lead good social lives. AND we probably haven't even fixed the "less land" problem, just shifted the land off-site.
For what? For more milk? We have SO MUCH milk we don't even know what to do with it!
Question 2: "Isn't an overabundance of cheap milk a good thing?"
no.
Under the infinite genius of Capitalism, thousands of gallons of milk just gets poured into the sewer daily because there's too much of it. Transporting it to a processor would cost more than it's worth, sometimes the processors turn milk away because they don't want to overproduce products, and even the US government can't subsidize every last drop; it still has 1.4 billion pounds of cheese in various caves and warehouses across the country.
The price of milk cannot get any lower because it's already being sold below the cost it takes to produce it, and yet, we're still here literally pouring it down the drain.
Tumblr media
[photo from bill ulrich who photographed a farmer dumping milk back during the pandemic. this isn't even a recent photo. this happens every time there's a milk surplus. im using this photo because i like the farmer's cunty little pose. look at him. "just ain't right"core.]
And milk being dumped into the sewer is more than just wasteful. It's a biohazard.
Milk doesn't stop rotting when it's dumped. If you live downstream of a milkhouse, improper milk disposal reeks.
It's full of nutrients, too, which causes diatoms, cyanobacteria, and other types of algae to go into overdrive-- causing a Harmful Algal Bloom event in the water, or HAB.
HABs are horrific. There's HUNDREDS of different types. They can suck up oxygen and create "dead zones" which kills all aquatic life, they can poison the water supply for an entire town, and some can even cause toxic fumes that make it hard to breathe on land.
Now, listen, I don't want to scare you into never dumping out rotten milk or anything! It's that on an industrial scale, it's REALLY REALLY bad if a farm overproduces milk-- especially crummy milk that can't be made into decent cheese or other dairy products.
In fact, if we did produce milk on a smaller scale, it would be better for everyone! Unless you're a Milk Guzzling Fiend like I am, you probably wouldn't need to buy a whole gallon at a time. In countries like Italy, it's sold fresh and in smaller containers, and you're just expected to pick it up as you need it.
This is why milkmen used to exist, and still do in places that are cool; they'd deliver your supply fresh from the creamery. Less waste, less stress! The "subscription model" is actually sooooooooooo much better for milk production, since it helps to stagger out those "surges and drops" of demand that leads to milk dumps.
Question 3: "If the cow eats less, doesn't that mean less land for pasture, which is a good thing?"
There's a lot to unpack within this sentiment. It's actually based on a couple of common assumptions on a few levels, which are incorrect in fascinating ways. Challenging this means opening up your worldview on how complex keeping livestock actually is!
I'll start with the simpler part;
You could cut fresh pasture out of the equation entirely and shove a cow into a concrete pen with a food box-- but are you counting the land growing the fodder?
When you grow corn the way that we do on industrial farms in the US, it's unbelievably destructive. Unending oceans of monoculture. Fogged with pesticide, pumped full of fertilizer which causes HABs like dumped milk does, sprayed with thousands of gallons of wasted water.
Tumblr media
When you look at this image, I need you to understand you are looking at a dead zone. Like a suburban lawn, just because it's green doesn't mean it's good. Nothing grows here but corn and pests of corn, which gets poisoned and dies without returning any of that energy to the ecosystem.
This is usually what is being given to "grain-fed cattle," either when they're sent to a feedlot to hit their slaughter weight, or when they're lactating so they need the extra nutrition. It's also so nasty it's inedible to human beings.
Now, a lot of cattle farmers will just supplement their cow's diet, doing a mix of pasture feeding (much cheaper) and grain feeding (quicker gains). But the facts on this are clear; pasture-kept cattle result in LESS emissions and need LESS total space than cows in confinement.
In fact, there were a LOT of benefits!
Overall gas emissions from the cows dropped by 8%
Ammonia pollution was down by 30%
Not needing to run farm equipment for fodder planting and harvest reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 10%
Rotated crop fields didn't sequester carbon; but the newly converted perennial grasslands store as much as 3,400 pounds per acre.
The outside cows did produce less milk volume, but the milk they did produce was higher quality. So, looking at all the benefits here, it's clear that pasture is actually something that should be embraced for ecological reasons, not rejected.
In FACT, it should be EMPHASIZED. Because, this is the mind-blowing part,
Tumblr media
Pasture can ALSO be an ecosystem.
In fact, I'm a Warrior Cats guy who once did a deep dive on moorlands just so I could write WindClan better. There are entire biomes that only exist because of grazing, and British lowland heath is one of them!
Keeping cattle in a sustainable, ecologically sound way is going to look different depending on where in the world you're doing it. So many earnest, good-willed people have bought into the lie that humans are a problem, and that everything "associated" with us becomes a barren wasteland as if we are tainted. YOU are not the problem! The problem is, and always has been, exploitation. Unsustainable relationships with the land we're part of.
Indigenous people in Europe, Asia, and Africa have been keeping cattle for thousands of years. In North America, cattle can be used to maintain ecosystems that have been badly affected by the colonial eradication of the American Bison. In South America, Brazil specifically has been making incredible advances with highly efficient integrated crop-livestock-forestry farming.
Generally, pastures here in the US are not as intensely managed as an equivalent crop field. Some people fertilize them, or water them mid-summer, but absolutely not to the same extent as industrial corn farms. Cattle are typically rotated between pastures, allowing each to re-grow before they come back to graze again.
Obviously, yes, overgrazing can be an issue. Not every open space should be converted into a pasture, and the destruction of other environments to turn into cow land is a problem. But that is an issue of bad land stewardship, not the mere practice of keeping livestock.
Bottom line, though? Cattle who can graze and survive outside are better for the environment than cattle that can't.
...but hey, you know what Holsteins happen to be really bad at?
EVERYTHING. GRAZING.
They are notoriously terrible grazers. They can't do megan THEEEEE thing that cows are known for. Fragile frames, a lack of fat to keep them warm outside, increased demand for food, distaste for any rough forage, horrible mothering instincts, the list goes on. Holsteins are a NIGHTMARE to try and keep outside all year round compared to other breeds.
(especially heritage breeds, like the Milking Devon, Florida Cracker, or Texas Longhorn. Between these three, you'd be totally covered in 80% of American climates.)
I've already explained why it's not actually very good or important that we minmax milk volume, but even if that was actually something we should value, there are so many downsides that they would absolutely not be the dominant cow breed in a truly "efficient" system.
"Less cows means less cow food and cow land" is sound logic, but Holsteins are not the right cow for that job.
Question 4: "How could this be done in a way that doesn't increase cost of living?"
I'm not sure how to answer this question, simply because I'm not Bonestar, Leader of AmericaClan. Wish I was. I would rule tyrannically.
It's worth noting that Brazil is the second largest producer of beef in the entire world, AND the number one largest exporter of it, AND only puts 30% of its land to total agricultural use. The USA dedicates over 50%. And also Brazil is net reducing its amount of agricultural land while increasing output.
It seems clear to me that the USA actually has a massive food waste and resource distribution problem, to the point where the price we pay for stuff is actually wildly disconnected from the actual value of the goods and labor.
I think the way that us Americans tend to frame our conversations on these topics as "growth" vs "cuts" instead of asking how to minimize waste by making existing systems more efficient prevents us from solving problems. We're also just... really culturally resistant to the idea of anything being more "expensive," even if it ends up costing us a lot more money in waste or mismanagement later.
Penny wise and dollar foolish ass country.
Tumblr media
Question 5: "What can we personally do about this?"
I mean, I wasn't making a call to action in Cow Lore, I was just explaining to one of my regulars why I don't like Holsteins LMAO. Since you're asking though...
I don't think we can change the wider trend in the dairy industry without actual government intervention and regulation, though, and that's very unlikely in the current political environment. they just sent random dudes to Ausalvador-Birkenau and when the Supreme Court said "bring this specific person back" they said "nuh uh." fellas I don't think we're getting better dairy regulations in the foreseeable future.
So I think the most productive thing to do is focusing on supporting small farms and heritage breeds. Get involved in your community garden or heritage society if you have one.
Not only is that generally a very rewarding thing, but it will be helpful to you in case The Situation Gets Worse. Knowing your neighbors and having real human connection is your best defense against economic recession.
Supporting the locals is always a great thing to do, which can be as simple as going to farmer's markets. You don't need to buy fancy food every day to make an impact on your community-- it can be a treat sometimes!
You could also subscribe to the Livestock Conservancy's free newsletter, where they talk about the work they're doing and upcoming events. If you're a knitter, crocheter, or any other kind of fiber artist, you could even join in on a challenge they're running where you make items out of rare wool for prizes!
Should you end up liking the work they do, you can become a member for 4$ a month, or go to one of their educational events.
Even just talking about the problem can do a lot! Did you know the Highland Cow was actually critically endangered in the USA within the past 10 years? It was the work of the Livestock Conservancy, plus a surge in their popularity, that helped to bring their numbers up. Word of mouth is a powerful thing.
All that said, remember, you can't solve every problem. It's a big world and there's a lot of them. Being made aware of an issue doesn't mean you have to drop what you were previously doing-- just care a lot about something that you want to improve, and let that guide you.

Meet Mable!
I’ve been putting off telling this story because I wanted to focus on the other stories that these animals have to share. Anyways, my sister finally told me it’s an important one to share. So, meet Mable!
Mable is actually my bunny. She is a wonderful beautiful lionhead with just the right amount of “bunitude”. However, she hasn’t always had her luxurious long mane.
One day, one of the animal cruelty officers from work (the RISPCA) got word of a rabbit in rough condition posted on Craigslist. So, she went and investigated and ended up bringing the rabbit to our clinic for veterinary care. The little rabbit was in ROUGH condition. All four limbs were covered in urine scolding, and there was not an ounce of fat on the body, you could feel the bones. Just incase somebody who isn’t bunny savy is reading this, rabbits must always have a source of hay, this enables them to have the fiber required to keep their insides moving, if their digestive system were to stop, it very quickly can kill the rabbit. The little bunny brought to clinic, was on the verge of this happening. The small animal manager texted our team and said that this little bunny was coming into the shelter and that our vet was not sure she was going to make the weekend. I asked if our vet wanted me to take her, to at least pass on a home with love. What I thought was going to be a weekend just to give a little bun a home to pass, turned into the start of a long journey.
Tumblr media
She survived the first weekend, and by then… she stole my heart. This little baby was only about three months old, and she had a fighting spirit. She was a bit shy about me, but she knew I was helping her, taking her meds like a champ, and chowing down on all the hay I could offer. I knew I couldn’t let her go. That Tuesday (it was a long weekend!) I brought her back to the clinic, it was time to start the process of finding out just how truly bad her legs were. This meant she had to be put under anesthesia. While under anesthesia the veterinarian was able to perform x-rays on her legs, which showed that the urine scolding on her legs (this was caused by her living in her own filth) was so bad, the infection went down to one of the bones. Great. We made the weekend, we woke up from anesthesia, but now we have to pray we can treat this infection. Or else she would have to become a little tripod. Now becoming a tripod would not have been the end of Mable’s story, I remember doing research about tripod rabbits, just incase! However, nobody wants to ambulate a bunny’s leg…..
So after removing all the dead skin from all four limbs, I was able to be there when Mable woke up from her anesthesia. It was no longer a mission to just survive, we were gonna heal now. For months, Mable wore cast like bandages on her legs and got antibiotics twice a day. These had to be changed twice a week by a vet. We started out with all 4 in casts, then we went to just her back legs, until it was just her one really bad leg. FINALLY, all four legs were free! The first time I ever saw this bunny binky, I almost cried! She was able to do that, because of the time, patience, talent, and dedication our team had.
She still wasn’t done yet though! There was still one more big procedure she had to make it through. Her spay! I will always advocate for spaying and neutering your bunny, but my goodness was I nervous! The little fighter has already gone through so much and she had to go through a surgery now! Of course she came through like it was nothing though.
I took Mable home on January 20th, 2023, and her official adoption day of when she was medically cleared was May 23,2023. So it was a very lengthy process of healing, my entire last semester of college actually.
Today, Mable is the most spoiled bunny! She has her own bed, so many toys and treats (including those that come in her monthly subscription box), and so many people that love her! She recently had her first yearly check up where she got a clean bill of health!
You can sometimes find Mable with me at the RISPCA, where we have told our story to kids at our humane education camp, and even to potential adopters or those who are trying to learn more about rabbits when they attend our bunny related events!
Tumblr media
Mable is a huge part of my life and even though she is a tiny little gal, she really has shown both me and the world just how mighty she is. Next time you visit the RISPCA, look around the adoption areas and the smallie room, you may just find her picture around!

mutual aid request
Hey y’all. I have been sort of touching on this recently as I have been struggling INCREDIBLY with my debt load and managing veterinary school at the same time.
Basically, long story short. I can’t make any of my bills this month and have to pay $2500 to my bank to ensure they don’t close my account due to my parents releasing themselves from my loan and no longer supporting me. I am also struggling now as my partner who has been helping supporting me for the past 6-7 months is no longer able to support me due to his own financial shortcomings.
This is extremely stressful as i am now truly on my own with no support system financially. I am risking my home, maybe having to sell my car all while trying to keep my dog and self fed and housed.
I know it is a lot to ask but i am requesting mutual aid from this community as well as my own so that i do not end up in crushing debt and can keep myself supported. i’m happy to share more details privately but if you would consider buying me a kofi it would be greatly appreciated. dealing with this instability since the holidays has played a huge role in my hiatus trying to find odd jobs that fit with my vet school schedule.
i worry without support i may have to bail before entering my final year of my degree so that i can move home and work or sell my car and belongings and couch hop for the foreseeable future.
anything helps ❤️ as always with love

Future Career Headcannons for the Characters from Revolutionary Girl Utena, after they escape Ohtori
Anthy Himemiya: Work in/ own a flower shop. Utena suggests this to Anthy herself in the show after Anthy tells her that she only wishes for a future where she can keep tending to her flowers. Anthy smiles at the suggestion.... IF not that... well I got the idea for this after reading a fanfic where Anthy is a veterinary. That would make a good second option for Anthy since animals, like flowers, where her comforts during her imprisonment as the Rose Bride. Also of course she would find Utena, and they could be together without Akio and the games getting in their way,
Utena Tenjô: A Securtiy Gaurd. So in the show Utena is very Chivalrous and wants to protect people "to be like a Noble Prince". Her intentions come from a good place and are not necessarily bad in of themselves. An active job, where she could protect/help people would be good for her. But she also has difficulty sometimes understanding the complexity of others problems, and is prone to being manipulated. I decided against suggesting "Police Officer" because then she could be manipulated again, by a more corrupted Chief/Head of Squadron. I think a security guard would be a better job for her because there is more structure and a clearer (necessary) objective. Observing a surrounding putting a stop to any fight/trouble that break out suits Utena more than investigative questioning or arresting bad guys does.
Touga Kiryuu: I believe Touga is alive in the Anime and head cannon that he grew up into a: Hairstylist. He was a bit of a hard one because I could only really think of one time in the show where he seemed like he genuinely liked or was happy doing something; and that was when he was playing with the kitten. Now he can foster stray cats on the side as a hobby/volunteer work (probably the only volunteer work he would ever do) but it won't pay his bills. So I had to think harder. Now apparently his abusive relationship with his adoptive father is cannon across the board (shudders because no one deserves that). That man is the one who made Touga grow his hair long, and one thing the fandom seems to universally agree Touga should do for himself if/when he is finally able to get away from the bad people in his life is to cut his hair short. Well I actually think that once he is free learning about all different ways to cut and style hair would be something he would really enjoy. It might also be theraputic to be in an enviroment where he gets to exsursize this knowledge/activity regualrly. Lastly hair stylists at shops can sometimes be flirty and chatty to customers, and some will act flamboyant too. I imagine Touga's chair would be pretty popular. Don't date your customers Touga
Kyouichi Saionji: A cook. Saionji might be the most unstable character in the duels. He actually got kicked out of the duels and the school, saw the world outside...came back to Ohtori on his own. Met a girl he could have a happy and healthy relationship with. Decided that was wrong/to much for him, and left her to rejoin a system he knew just wanted to abuse and manipulate him. He is both the dumbest character show and the most aware: From the upside down castle, to the more dangerous parts of loving someone, to Touga's BS, to Akio... Saionji knows it is all fake but always clings to it... except for one breif episode where he took a break and did some pretty positive things for himself... In episode 27 "Nanami's egg" Saionji decides the moon and weather are "beautiful" tonight and that he will leave school grounds on his own and go camping. He also decided to cook (a traditionally feminine role... made all the more feminine by him dawning a frilly apron) his own food. He is out of school, he unconcerned with appearing all powerful and completely masculine. He is relaxed and smiling. Nanami came up to him and tried to instigate a fight, which Saionji responded to by remaing calm and trying to gently talk her down. You have this one moment where Saionji is being completely non-toxic and its peaceful. He is still far from perfect (At least one, and possibly all, of his eggs he found on the forest floor. Not very hygienic). But still, teach the man what a grocery store is and let him cook more meals (and wear more frilly aprons). Maybe he can camp more when he has time off
.... On that note I do ship TougaxSaionji in season 3, and post show. So if they go camping together they will need a pet-sitter for Touga's foster cats. Maybe Nanami can do it? That would be a nice way for her to make up for and show growth after killing Touga's kitten from their childhood.
Nanami Kiryuu: I just mentioned Nanami so I might as well do her next. This girl is gonna want to be a T.V. Reporter. Possibly a weather girl at first, but most likely her goal would be to be a event "gossip" reporter. She is one of the most difficult ones to for groups/people to impress. and many of her questions an comments are super random and outlandish and their is no way to be prepared for what she might say/do. Her viewers though it eat it all up and consider her to be the funniest personnel on T.V. Working as the shows Lead Producer Nanami's long time, platonic, childhood friend: Mitsuru Tsuwabuki. Yeah I don't really ship these two as anything more than good friends..Their show ages aside, I notice that their relationship mostly becomes unhealthy when one tries to make it romantic. But do show genuine care for each other in a platonic sense and are kind enough that you hope their friendship lasts. So yeah instead of them becoming husband and wife with 2.5 kids, make them partners in "crime" (a.k.a buisness) with Nanami being the face and Tsuwabuki being the brains, just as it was between them in the show (as opposed to Nanami's relationship with her cronies where it was flipped).
Miki Kaoru: A math teacher/professor. I very much do not want Miki to grow up to become a concert pianist. The piano is a beautiful instrument and playing it is a wonderful skill. Since teachers do not make that much, Miki can always have a secondary side job tutoring kids in playing it on the weekends. But do not let the piano continue to be the center of his life when it is also such a symbol of his own nativity, and how he has been manipulated into serving others. Both Touga and Akio use the Piano to get Miki to do what they want in the duels. But we also learn that his father used to exploit him and Kozue as publicity tools (which sadly broke them apart). Notice that "The Sunlight Garden" is such a famous piece that even Utena has heard of it, but no one has heard that Miki is the one who originally composed it. He got no credit. He also admits that he kept playign as he started to grow up mostly out of nostalgia for when he and Kozue were younger and had an easier time getting along. Miki's academic success has always felt "just his" in a way that the piano did not, and it has more to do with his present and future than his past. Math seems like it's his best subject, and he is able to be both an effective teacher and develop a positive relationship with Utena and Anthy, when he agree's to tutor them in it. (Up until Anthy has to go and start playing that piano song.) So in adulthood I hope Miki can, not necessarily give up the piano (forget his early childhood), but give his other talents (other stages of his life) some more focus. Math Teacher/Professor Miki, who maybe tutors in music on the side.
Juri Arisugawa: Own a bowling Ally. Juri's three main extra curricular in the anime are fencing, modeling, and bowling. Fencing is her main one. She is acting head of the fencing team. My reasons for not making "Champion Fencer" her career are similar to the ones I gave for not making "Concert Pianist" Miki's. It was an talent and hobby of Juri's that was exploited by both the games and others, and is surround by so much negativity. She took up her sword to prove that miracles do not exist, even though she wishes she believed in them. Also Miki was her only friendly relationship on that Team. All her other subordinates feared her, and she was terrified of Ruka, who was known to be stronger than her. I also rejected Modeling because then Juri would work for an agent and model products that a designer or company wants to make money selling. I definitely think Juri should be her own boss, just in a less hostile environment than Ohrito's fencing team. I like what she said about bowling in "Nanami's Egg": how she does it just because she "thinks it feels good". In what I think was episode 37 Juri states "I used to only think about myself... now I cannot stop think about myself". To me her statment implies that she wants to start thinking more about things that make her happy rather than sad. Juri has got to have some money saved from modeling gigs and Fencing tournaments. Let Juri use that as Seed money to open up a bowling ally, that she can make into a play where she and other can go, and play, and just feel good/happy doing so. Make that Juri's miracle to believe in.
Kozue Kaoru: A School Guidance Counselor. For her I am going the route of "be the person you needed growing up". Kozue is protective of people. You see that in her pushing down the teacher she thought was groping Miki.... except that the teacher was not groping Miki, they were just talking. He had his arm around Miki elbow, not his backside like Kozue thought; and Miki was laughing because of a joke, not because he was being flirted with. (Has Kozue ever seen her brother try to flirt/react to flirting? Miki is a panicked, shaking, mess). Both Miki and Kozue were used in a way by adults when they kids, and then again in the duels as teens. Kozue seems to understand that they were used where Miki did not. But, she also continuously seeks out relationships where she will still be used and craves, yet rejects, more emotional ones. Examples being how she is mentioned to have several boyfriends that she is physical with but does not have any kind of emotion attachment to them. She yells that she does not need her parents, and then goes out with an adult man, the night she learns her dad is getting married again. Lastly she refuses the homemade milkshake her brother makes her saying "I cannot have anything that sweet", does she mean the milkshake or the gesture? Since she does ask for one later on I am going to wager that Kozue does not have any special dietary needs. The PoBaW line "We accept the love we think we deserve" really fits Kozue and how she allows other to love her. But she has moments of stepping away from this "I only deserve to be loved as a tool" mindset, Like when she let Miki take care of her at home after "fainting from anemia". Or the couple times she goofs off at the piano; when it is just her and trusted friends, who do not care if she is plays the key sloppy. She is making baby steps towards a healthier mindset on relationships in the show. If she can build on that, post Akio and Anthy, then maybe, like Utena, she could use what she went through to keep protecting the "Inocent children" she relates her past too.
Also Maybe she and Miki could work in the same school (NOT Ohtori, but a good school) ,and that way they could still have time together, while also doing their own thing.
Shiori Takatsuki: Well the first thing I want her to be is as far away from Juri as possible. Sorry to people who ship them, but give me one healthy or not toxic moment between them? One moment after their early childhood where one makes the other happy? One moment were being around the other doesn't make them remember just how miserable and angry they are? Pretty much every relationship in the show has some kind of skill/wealth/power imbalance between them, and some kind of love and hate balance too. Utena and Anthy are the main ones, but all the secondary characters were meant to have relationships that mirror certain aspects of UtenaxAnthy. If Touga and Saionji (who at least have some moments of working through their issues together) are a parallel to Utena and Anthy, than I always saw Juri and Shori as a warning sign to them... that if you are not careful and do not work on things then hate, jealousy, and toxicity can destroy once loving relationships. So for these reasons I do not want her to be Juri's business partner, or even run a similar business as Juri's Bowling Ally. Shori would always see Juri's establishment as better, because she saw everything Juri did as better than her, and would never be able to enjoy her own work. Instead maybe she could find some enjoyment in a completely different field. One that maybe doesn't really suit Juri in the long run. Shori is just as pretty as Juri, a little more girly, very social, and she likes being part of a team and relying on others. I think she would be a good model period, not just in comparison to her old rivial.
Wakaba Shinohara: A Nurse. Do I really need to explain this one? Wakaba is like the most caring soul imaginable. She has wonderful optimism, great bedside manner, and is not afraid to call people out on not taking proper care of themselves. Plus I could see her having romantic fantasy's about some rich and successful man coming to stay at the hospital while he was sick, and falling in love with her due to the excellent care she took of him. Let her have her day dreams. The girl would be a fantastic nurse either way.
Keiko Sonoda: It is late and I so not want to pretend Keiko was that deep or complex of of a character. She was a lackey to the queen bee. She hated being a lackey but liked being a bully, because she kept doing that even after Nanami lost her crown. Underneath all that she falls really hard for her crushes, and likes to dress up... So either she can be a housewife to a (hopefully) nice man, or maybe she can go into clothing design.
Tatsuya Kazami: A therapist/Life Coach. The Blackrose tried to manipulate his unresolved feelings for another into making him duel. Something they have sucessfully done to more than 100 others before. But despite Tatsuya's pain over learing his crush loved someone else, and Mikage (a.k.a Akio and Anthy) doing everything that has worked numerous times before, Tatsuya is able to calm himself down. He changes his persepctive and decides "You know what? I don't need to be this upset. My crush liking someone else right now isn't the worst thing in the world. They probably will not date forever. I care about her enough to stay friends and wait for her to decide to give me a chance." Tatsuya did not need a sword. He beat Mikage, depression, despair, and anger all down, with just a few minutes and a handful of sentences.
Mamiya, Mikage, Kanae, and Ruka:.... Well they all die, so they will not grow up to be anything. Very tragic. I suppose not everyone was going to be able to leave that school alive.

Tax reform group rejects tax breaks for sanitation in Brazil
Additional tax on sugary drinks reinstated as Congress debates changes
Tumblr media
The tax reform working group in Brazil’s Lower House has proposed rejecting tax breaks approved by the Senate for sectors such as veterinary services, pet health plans, basic sanitation, funeral homes, commercial representatives, biscuits, mineral water, and soccer corporations (SAFs). The group also opted to reinstate the additional excise tax on sugary drinks, such as soft drinks.
The move, anticipated by Valor, aims to lower the standard rate of the upcoming Goods and Services Tax (IBS) and Contribution on Goods and Services (CBS), central pillars of Brazil’s new tax system. The Senate’s version of the bill pushed the rate above 28%, exceeding the 26.5% limit agreed upon by both houses: the more approved exceptions, the higher the standard rate applied to other goods and services.
“Our revised version reduces the standard rate by 0.7 percentage points,” said the bill’s rapporteur, Congressman Reginaldo Lopes. He did not specify the base for this calculation but maintained that improved tax compliance would keep the rate at 25%.
Conversely, the working group accepted all tax benefits for the Manaus Free Trade Zone, which was approved by Senate rapporteur Eduardo Braga, a prominent advocate for the region. However, some lawmakers hope to challenge these benefits when the bill goes to a floor vote, where parties can request individual votes on specific provisions.

Help support Gosling! I see lots of horse memes tumbling around, and if some of equestrian tumblr and equestrian peanut gallery tumblr (affectionate) can give her a hand, or at least pass it into other horse spheres of the internet, I'd appreciate it.
There are no graphic images are in this gofundme, just tubing and fluid swelling. ->
Gosling was born June 19th, 2023, a month earlier than she should've been. She was lively but unable to stand, with no suckling reflex. She had a small seroma on her chest, an umbilical hernia, and her legs were contracted. Though two vets came and a feeding tube was placed in her nose to give her colostrum, within hours she was dehydrated and weak. She was rushed to the Marian Dupont-Scott Equine Hospital in Leesburg, Virginia. Being premature, her digestive system couldn’t handle the colostrum and she developed pneumonia. She was kept for a week on IV antibiotics, tube fed, helped to stand, and taught how to nurse. When she came home, she could (with help) stand for a few hours a day and gradually grew more lively, but continued to have high fevers and required antibiotics three times a day. The seroma on her chest continued to grow, until there was concern it might split her skin. A homemade compression vest was made, antibiotics were switched multiple times, and blood was repeatedly drawn, but the seroma never shrank and no clear cause was discovered. At six weeks old, Gosling and her mother returned to the hospital to determine what to do about the seroma, since the usual treatments of compression and time were not effective. The doctors decided that in this case, the best course of action was to put off the umbilical hernia surgery, and lance and drain the seroma. On August 9th, 2.25 litres of fluid was drained from Gosling’s chest. The first week of care for Gosling’s life at the hospital cost 15,000 dollars. Veterinary care at home has cost almost 5,000 dollars since. We have not yet been given the bill for Gosling’s second stay at the hospital (where she remains as of this writing.) The financial burden is tremendous. Please help us care for Gosling through this difficult start. Information: Gosling is a purebred Cleveland bay filly. Cleveland Bays are a critically endangered breed of horse with approximately 1,000 purebreds in the world. Only about 15 foals are born each year, not enough to maintain current numbers. Because of this, fillies are incredibly precious to the future of the breed.

Hi im terribly sorry! I just really need your help. I’m trying to raise some funds for little Olaf’s needs (my cat) as I brought him to the vet yesterday morning because of a really bad diarrhea and im trying to raise some funds as I cannot afford the estimate the vet gave us. 🥲Please help me share the post I made for him, I have pinned it on my blog. I’m hoping that you’ll consider, and sorry again for bothering you and for being this direct! Take care!
Wait, aren’t you apart of the wave of pet, specifically cat, veterinary bill scams????
And with further inspection, your account looks very suspicious.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Your first reblog was made 2 days ago and immediately after that reblog, you put up your first ad and then proceed to spam reblogs to give off the appearance you didn’t just make your account 2 days ago. Also, that breed of cat looks expensive but I don't feel like bothering my dad over a Tumblr post.
Look, I get it, times are hard and you're only asking for $300 but I don't think guilt-tripping people out of their money is the solution.
If you need help spotting rent, and or utilities, your state may have an emergency rental assistance hotline you can access here.
If you need groceries you look can look for a local food bank you can search on this databse here and USDA nutrition services here. (Some food banks may be able to spot you toothpaste and diapers but everywhere is different)
If you need clothes I suggest garage sales, clearance isles (specifically at Walmart), sometimes dumpster diving can yield surprising results. And to wash those clothes, laundry mats usually require a few bucks or less.
If you can't afford a car, let alone, gas, if it is possible for you, I'd use bikes and become very familiar with public transportation. They're a lot more cost effective.
I personally have a serving center near me that may be able to supply all of these if not more and I highly suggest you look into your area as well. Those places usually have more information than I can provide to you on how you can survive in this system.
I don’t think you’re a bad person, I think a lot of people end up being angry at desperate actions from people who are just trying to survive. What I am is worried for you. Please stay safe and know this isn't the only option. Quick cash is convenient, but ultimately, temporary.

Someone sent me lilies again! I know they mean well, but people really need to stop sending me flowers that can kill my cat. Luckily, I checked before taking the bouquet into my apartment, so my cat wasn’t exposed to them this time.
PSA: Don’t send lilies or bouquets that contain them to cat owners. They’re common in sympathy bouquets, but you should check any bouquet you send to cat owners for lilies. You may say it’s on the cat owner to check the bouquet, but plenty of cat owners don’t know that lilies are very toxic to cats. Consuming any part of a lily, its pollen, or even the water they were in can cause is an acute kidney injury that will kill a cat without medical treatment. Even in the best case scenario where the cat gets prompt treatment and survives without any issues, the cat has to be hospitalized for a couple of days, which is unpleasant for the cat, and the owners have a huge veterinarian bill. I paid $4,000 dollars upfront in an NYC pet hospital, and was reimbursed $3,000 by my insurance. I’m lucky that I’m in a position where I can afford this, but many people can’t, and I hate to think about what would happen in that scenario.
To the cat owners, know which flowers are toxic to cats. Lilies are just one of them. The ASPCA has a list of these plants. They also have an animal poison control center, which does charge a fee of about $95. You should absolutely call them if you think your cat may have consumed a lily or other poisonous plant. They will tell you what you need to do and work with the veterinary team at the hospital that you take your cat to devise a treatment plan. Their number is (888) 426-4435. I’ve put a few links to more information on lilies, the toxic plant list, and the animal poison control center below.

So for anyone interested in attaining higher education, this bill would utterly gut all of our student loan systems we currently have and replace them with things that are much worse, like lifetime caps on borrowing (have fun trying to do medical school on $150K lifetime!), even longer repayment windows, and eradication of our current income-based repayment plans.
This could wind up quadrupling my current income-based payment, which would result in nearly a full paycheck just to loans every month. That’s just me, and I could survive it… but anyone doing an internship right now? Anyone trying to get into veterinary or medical school without independently wealthy family? Anyone repaying loans on their own without a partner or with a rural job?
Tumblr media
SCREAM AT YOUR SENATORS TO STOP THIS NOW!
Tumblr media
The American people overwhelmingly oppose Trump’s plan. In fact, a recent poll found that only 14% of voters support cutting social services to fund an extension of Trump’s tax cuts. That’s why Republicans passed the bill early in the morning when no one was watching — because they know how wildly unpopular it is. This bill is NOT a done deal. It still needs to pass the Senate. It's important that we get in touch with our senators and tell them to vote NO on this bill. Keep calling. (202) 224-3121

Best ERP for a Dairy Business: Streamlining Growth
Tumblr media
India’s dairy industry is one of the largest and most complex in the world. From milk collection in rural areas to processing and distribution in cities, the entire supply chain requires efficient coordination and accurate management. To stay competitive in today’s market, dairy businesses must adopt modern tools that ensure transparency, productivity, and scalability. One such powerful tool is an ERP for Dairy Management.
In this blog, we will explore how an ERP Software for the Dairy Industry can transform your dairy business and why NavFarm offers one of the best solutions in this space.
What is ERP and Why Does Your Dairy Business Need It?
ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is an integrated software system that helps manage all key operations of a business — from procurement and production to sales and accounting — under one platform. When designed specifically for dairy operations, an ERP for Dairy Farm can help automate daily tasks, reduce errors, improve milk quality tracking, and boost overall efficiency.
In India, where milk production is scattered across small and large-scale farms, managing this complexity manually is difficult and time-consuming. This is where a dedicated ERP software for the dairy industry like NavFarm, steps in as a game-changer.
Key Features of NavFarm’s ERP for Dairy Businesses
NavFarm’s ERP is tailor-made for the dairy sector. It covers all aspects of dairy operations and ensures that everything works in sync. Here are the top features:
1. Milk Collection and Procurement
NavFarm’s Milk Management Software helps dairy cooperatives and milk collection centers digitize milk procurement. It records quantity, quality (fat/SNF), pricing, and payment details in real-time, ensuring complete transparency with farmers.
2. Milk Processing and Production
The software helps you monitor milk processing stages such as pasteurization, homogenization, and packaging. It ensures that standard protocols are followed, which leads to better product quality and hygiene.
3. Inventory and Supply Chain
With ERP for Dairy Management, businesses can efficiently manage the inventory of milk and milk-based products like curd, paneer, and ghee. The system also handles cold storage tracking and manages transportation to ensure timely delivery.
4. Finance and Accounting
NavFarm’s ERP automatically generates invoices, tracks payments, and manages accounts. With GST-compliant billing and real-time financial reports, it becomes easier for dairy businesses to stay audit-ready and financially healthy.
5. Livestock and Farm Management
For integrated dairy farms, managing cows and buffalo is just as important. ERP for Dairy Farm includes modules to track animal health, breeding cycles, vaccinations, and feed schedules, which improves productivity and reduce veterinary costs.
Benefits of Using ERP Software for the Dairy Industry
Adopting an ERP Software for the Dairy Industry, like NavFar,m can bring several benefits to your business:
✔ Improved Efficiency
By automating everyday tasks, dairy businesses save time and reduce human errors. This allows teams to focus on more strategic work rather than paperwork.
✔ Better Quality Control
With real-time monitoring of milk quality and processing stages, businesses can maintain high product standards and win customer trust.
✔ Enhanced Traceability
From cow to customer, every litre of milk is traceable. This transparency is essential in the event of product recalls or quality complaints.
✔ Cost Savings
Reduced wastage, optimized supply chain, and accurate financial tracking lead to major cost savings over time.
✔ Scalability
As your dairy business grows, the ERP system grows with you. Whether you operate in one village or across multiple states, NavFarm’s ERP can scale effortlessly.
Why NavFarm is the Right Choice for Dairy ERP in India
There are many ERP solutions available in the market, but very few are specifically designed for the unique needs of Indian dairy businesses. NavFarm understands the local challenges — from unpredictable milk supply to rural procurement — and offers solutions that are both powerful and practical.
Here’s what makes NavFarm stand out:
✅ User-friendly interface for rural staff
✅ Supports multi-location dairy operations
✅ Works well with minimal internet connectivity
✅ Affordable pricing plans for small and medium dairy businesses
✅ Multilingual support including Hindi
With these features, NavFarm provides one of the best ERP software solutions for dairy industry players across India.
Real-Life Example: How NavFarm Helped a Dairy Cooperative in Gujarat
A medium-sized dairy cooperative in Gujarat was struggling with manual record-keeping, late payments to farmers, and milk spoilage due to poor tracking. After implementing NavFarm’s Milk Management Software, they saw a 40% improvement in on-time milk deliveries and a 25% reduction in procurement errors within 6 months.
Farmers received SMS alerts for payments and quality reports, while managers used real-time dashboards to track milk movement, finances, and cattle health. This transformation helped them win new contracts and improve farmer satisfaction significantly.
Conclusion: Digital Transformation is the Future of Dairy
In a fast-evolving market, sticking to outdated methods can hold your dairy business back. Whether you are a local milk producer, a large dairy plant, or a cooperative society, adopting a modern ERP for Dairy Management is the smart way forward.
NavFarm offers a reliable, feature-rich, and easy-to-use solution that is already transforming dairy businesses across India. Its specialized modules for milk procurement, processing, inventory, and livestock management make it the ideal ERP Software for the Dairy Industry.
If you’re looking for the best ERP for Dairy Farm operations, it’s time to switch to NavFarm and take control of your dairy business with confidence.
