Look at how this glorious 13” zenith #crt set compliments the 1983 Atari XL line of computers and peripherals! I saved this set because it’s such a good match. The width is nearly identical to the 800xl, and that aluminum strip on the top is a near perfect match to the aluminum accents of the Atari design language. Now it’s not a perfect match as it’s still wood grain but considering that Atari never sold a monitor for the 8bit line I think that’s as good is it’s going to get. Time for a Friday #shelfie of my Nintendo handhelds. My collection is no where newr incomplete but these systems are my favorite. Nintendo really cornered the market with the handhelds and each one was better than the last. Even the switch, though it has it’s share of flaws in the current console market is still very unique and definitely “Nintendo” in it’s design. (not pictured is my pink switch lite, it’s being displayed in a different case and my OLED which Im playing Scarlet on rn. 🤭) I apologize about the lack of posts, Teddy has RSV and was in urgent care with an oxygen saturation in the high 80s/low 90s. It’s funny how to universe provides when you have a need. As I delve deeper into my Collection of vintage video game consoles and computers, I was like “I could really use another Sony Trinitron, with a bunch of different inputs.“ and then I saw this by the roadside in the next town over. I didn’t grab it at first because it had an inch of snow on top of it but decided to come back the next day and scarf it up. I let it dry out for three or four days in front of the radiator, and of course it works. It’s a Sony dammit they’re built really well. Thankfully it came with the remote too so I can get into the service menu and make adjustments to the screen. But yeah I didn’t really need any more CRTs but here it is.
