-
Welcome, archeological japonistas to a new installment, in this
occasion I will explain what Tenshu means and its relationship in the
architecture of Japanese castles, having said that, make yourself comfortable that
we started.
-
Surely we have ever seen it in the famous video game
Shogun 2, in a movie, drama or anime, what is your main
function? We could define it as the place of residence of the daimyō (だい
みょう), since in Japan the concept of a castle is similar to that of Europe.
Because they became a place of residence and the Tenshu was the stay of the
daimyō, "When the Tokugawa regime was established and the Law
One Castle One Castle in 1615 “(Keicho 20) thereafter to each
daimyo was allowed to own only one castle and the tenshu lost its function.
-
I hope you liked it and see you in future publications of
Japanese history and archeology have a happy week.

There's someone here again on the menu. Not literally, though. How can you eat sims, if you're not Griselda or a cowplant?..
Vinyl is the kingdom's resident performer. She's more of an actress, then a bard, though (but nobody cares). She enjoys her (not very blossoming) career, writing and directing pieces at the tavern and across the kingdom.
Vinyl believes that her stage fighting skills translate to the real life. Thankfully, she never had a chance to prove it. She's also prone to get into trouble while touring; that's why she keeps spare wheels alongside her. Vinyl also believes that her and Jill the physician might be related somehow, though, there's no proof of that, for sure.
Traits: Fun-Loving, Vain, Compulsive Gambler.
Hocus is a wizard boy. He tries his best to get a membership in the Wizard Council, but these old bores just won't let him it. Instead, they send the boy on quest across time and space. What's worse, they like to pepper their monologues with some really weak jokes.
So, most of the time Hocus has to battle Griselda (still better than trying to stomach the bad puns). Sometimes it doesn't end well for him. Thankfully, a physician (Jill, exactly) lives just nearby. Really useful, indeed.
Traits: Scholarly, Eloquent, Puny.
Had to remind you that you might need "Pirates and Nobles", if you want to download these sims. But there's no need for a custom content. Also, the filenames (and sim-names) are in Russian, and I hope it won't bring some technical issues.

Just Finished: Lylat Wars
Finally I've put down the sequel of one of my favorite titles of the Super Nintendo. It's a great game however it's missing a few things that makes it not much compatible with my current gaming lifestyle. The lack of a save status during each run demands that the player makes a full run each time wich request around 2/3 hours in a row. With it we'll surely find new paths and take the most out of the game exploring more paths and take the most out of the game. I just don't have that time available nowadays. I really have to revisit this one either on 3DS or through another version that would let me do some sort of save state. Apart from it I have barely nothing to point it down.

When I was a kid, there was a gardening PC game called "Plantasia." I loved this game. I first got to play it on RealOne Arcade then bought it in adulthood on Big Fish Games. That computer is broken now so I can't play it, and the old computer I bought off Ebay to play this game can download the game but it won't start when I try to play it.
I find it sad that a lot of kids today will never play this game or even hear of it. Not only is it not something they would even know existed, but even if they wanted to play it, you would have a hard time finding a machine that could run it. You could always go the virtual machine route, but a lot of kids would have trouble figuring out how all that works (even I don't really understand how to set that up).
I hope this game never gets forgotten.
