#henry got very very mad at sprig the other day #after a lot of trigger stacking #i had been bed bound for 4 days post tonsillectomy #so none of the dogs had had any interaction or exercise #so they were all stressed and restless #i was in bed and heard hollering and screaming #i ran downstairs and by the time i got there the fight was over and no one was injured #i looked back on the camera and hen had been lying down chewing something #moby was being irritating and trying to get it out of his mouth #hen ignored him #then budge came over and tried to retrieve it as well #hen continued munching and didn't even bother correcting them #but then sprig walked over to see what was going on #and stuck his head in hens mouth #hen gave a slight correction #and then sprig in awkward panic made a move to like mount hen??#and anyway hen just turned around and NAILED him #which was scary because hes never done anything like that before #I'm thinking it's because sprig is entire and also quite a bit larger #and apparently at like 10-12mo their hormones go insane even if they're not acting like jerks?? and it makes neutered males upset?#anyway i'm sure sprig has learnt not to hump hen #but my immediate instinct is to DESEX SPRIG NOW #because all of my dogs have been desexed under a year old #i dont know how to own entire dogs!#but i really really wanna keep spriggy entire until at least 2yrs #anyway Sprig literally just screamed and peed himself which was most of the noise #if needed i'll start separating the old man and the baby regularly so they can have time out from each other #still very good boys #henry #sprig

i just feel like ending Thor 4 on a note which mirrors his own childhood where a parent was taking him into battle (because now he takes care of Love and takes her to battle on random planets) is not a great message when Thor's parents' parenting caused the conflicts of the first three Thor films

I think more people online need to learn to look at something that doesn't apply to them and go "hmm. This doesn't apply to me. I will move on." Rather than questioning why there are not subsets and special clauses to make space for the inevitability of the diversity of the human experience.

i had a scarily bad depression moment (if you catch my drift) at work on thursday during a meeting where the topic of conversation and the things ppl were saying were directly (and slightly intentionally?) contributing to my distress and im past that moment now but i feel so haunted by it. by the thoughts i was having and the fact that i had them and the fact that i was witnessed in that moment but they didn’t know how bad it was. and im also feeling vulnerable to being back in that place again

#purrs #it is kinda amazing the amount of triggering things that happen every day and any one of them knocks the wind out of me but this is like.#4-5 a day at least and then like 5-6 hours of sleep in between another round. it’s not a good way to be in the world. but i am going to say #one positive thing which is that im proud of myself for enduring it and pushing forward even though it’s painful. like i am very strong for #doing that especially when i don’t have the emotional safety / resources i need and technically have never had them and will never have them #it’s important to remember that. and yeah it’s kinda like i shouldn’t have to be strong through all of that but the one positive thing i can #hang onto in this… well no actually 2. 1) i am very strong for surviving right now even though it’s just scraping by 2)one day it might not #be this hard. one day i might feel better. and even though it doesn’t feel like it and i keep having setbacks i am making progress towards #that moment. even thougu im scared to take some leaps im still inching towards the jump and that matters a lot. and other people can see it #even when i can’t. just not the people in that meeting apparently LOL #delete later

#personal #health is scary and frustrating and pain is constant and confusing and every test is coming back with nothing which apparently means #nothing is wrong except for the fact that everything is wrong #i wish i could live like i did back in the before times #I’m so glad my students cancelled this coming monday #I’ve been put through the fucking blender with the lid off this week #i need all the rest i can get #I’m so. I’m so frustrated at how my parents can witness me attending appts 4 days a week. and still wonder if I’m better yet #or still think I’m healthy again #whatever the fuck that means #even if i was healthy i don’t think I’d be as healthy as before #i certainly can’t do as much as before #i just wanna go back to before #i don’t wanna be in pain anymore #i don’t wanna see doctors anymore #I don’t wanna be sick anymore #at the very least i just wanna know what the fuck is up with me #of all the pain and bleeding and exhaustion #not knowing the cause of it all is the worst part #i may become a hermit for a little while #queue will keep running

Would like some advice from my lovely Internet friends. So I'm going back to school and will be going down to part time in August. Trying to figure out what days I want off. I have school on Tuesday and Thursday so I'll need those off. My dad works over the road trucking and is only home on the weekends (typically only home for a full day on Saturday) and I'd prefer to, y'know, see my dad. I had been working open shifts on the weekends but now that we're getting an assistant I won't be doing openings (and probably doing closings which I Do Not want to do on the weekends bc there goes my entire day of being able to see my dad) so I don't know if I should just be like hey I can't work Tuesday Thursday and Saturday sorry deal with it. Bc ever since we got our new manager she's had EVERY WEEKEND OFF and I've OPENED EVERY WEEKEND and the coworker that's getting fired has CLOSED EVERY WEEKEND and like I LIKE my opens why'd you take them from me.

#and apparently our store is “fully staffed” with only 4 employees. when i first started here there was 7 employees #like the one that's getting fired has been working all nights #the other one we have can't close bc she's borderline incompetent #the assistant is supposed to close and then open on the managers days off #which would mean i would close on weekends and i do not want to do that #sunday's I'll do it. Saturday's no.
