“People are inherently terrible” no!!! Have you ever seen a child wait for their friend while they tie their shoelaces? Have you ever known someone who would bring hurt squirrels and rabbits and mice to the nearest vet just so it doesn’t suffer? Have you seen someone grieve? Have you ever read something that hit your heart like a freight train? Have you looked at the stars and felt an unexplainable joy? Have you ever baked bread? Have you shared a meal with a friend? Have you not seen it? All the love? All the good? I know it’s hard to see sometimes, I know there’s pain everywhere. But look, there’s a child helping another up after a hard fall. Look, there’s someone giving their umbrella to a stranger. Look, there’s someone admiring the spring flowers. Look, there’s good, there’s good, there’s good. Look!!!!
I had to clarify that the “current” look is for Season 9, because I’m not sure how or if he’ll change for s10 yet! The “current” version is essentially his updated “default” look! Thought I might mention also that “Back Around” on the loose timeline lineup at the bottom is a reference to a song on his playlist in which he takes some time away from everyone after re-deviating to re-remember and find himself <3
Side note: Etho wears his mask under his chin mostly just around bdubs, but he starts wearing it down more often around doc, tango, or others who are used to seeing the damage. More than anything else, he’s sure to keep it for protection purposes when he’s outside working, exploring, or anything else that isn’t just hanging and chatting with friends :]
Made some Linked Universe reference sheets. tried my best including important characteristics and parts of a character people may have issues drawing. These are just a few things I think of to help myself while drawing them. What's helpful for me may not be for someone else.
Tfw when you specifically told that naked guy not to jump off the cliff and the second you turn around you see that not only has he jumped off the cliff, but he’s laughing at you too.
It's funny, 'cause I wonder where the TARDIS goes at random. Maybe it lands on some outcrop by the sea. There's a tribe, and they worship it for a hundred years. Then they grow up, they try to burn it. Then they get wise, and they preserve it. Then they build a city all around it. Till the TARDIS is just a tiny little dot surrounded by skyscrapers and monorails. Time passes, and the city falls. It all gets swept away...
Why does the concept of a wild kratts and pokemon crossover work so well
When I asked for suggestions the other day a lot of people asked for pokemon content but at the time I was just doing some sketches. However, I was inspired to take a crack at it a little later!
And alas here is Chris' team. (He's a grass primary obviously)
(... is it obvious what my favorite gen is.......?)
I feel like he wouldn't be a pokemon trainer though... more like a researcher.... so basically the same exact thing they do in Wild Kratts... except with pokemon in the place of real animals. And their pokemon are considered more of companions and teammates that can help on adventures. (Maybe occasionally helping with villain encounters?)
Idk! It's not like a whole AU I wanna dive into but I thought it would be fun to draw as a one-off thing :]
Not sure if I'll make it through the whole crew, but I'm definitely working on Martin next. Most of my fav pokemon are water types so I'm really excited!
I don’t know what to do—I have to trust someone—I don’t know who to trust
massive, massive props to aabria for this episode (here at this point and after!!)…to all of them really, but it was about here that I was driving yesterday morning and had to frantically try to hold the image in my head for the rest of my commute. I only kind of succeeded but it is what is. wow. what an episode
