Understanding DA and PA Checker Tools for Enhanced SEO Strategy
Introduction
In the world of digital marketing, search engine optimization (SEO) plays a crucial role in driving website visibility and organic traffic. Two key metrics that often help evaluate the performance and authority of a website are Domain Authority (DA) and Page Authority (PA). In this blog, we will explore the importance of DA and PA checker tools, how they contribute to SEO strategies, and how businesses can use these tools to strengthen their online presence.
Here are five key topics, each with newspaper-style headings, to structure this blog and make it comprehensive and insightful.
What Are DA and PA? A Quick Overview for SEO Enthusiasts
DA (Domain Authority) and PA (Page Authority) are metrics developed by Moz, an SEO software company, to predict how well a website or web page will rank on search engine result pages (SERPs). DA evaluates the overall domain or website, while PA assesses the authority of individual pages.
These scores range from 1 to 100, with higher scores indicating a greater ability to rank. However, it’s important to note that DA and PA are not used by Google directly but serve as valuable comparative metrics for website analysis. Websites with high-quality backlinks, engaging content, and a well-structured site tend to have higher DA and PA scores.
Why You Should Use DA and PA Checker Tools for Your Website
DA and PA checker tools are essential for businesses, marketers, and SEO specialists who want to evaluate the strength of their website compared to competitors. These tools provide insight into how search engines perceive the authority and relevance of your website and individual pages.
Here’s why using DA and PA checker tools is vital:
Competitor Analysis: By checking your competitors’ DA and PA scores, you can gauge their SEO strength and identify opportunities for improvement.
Backlink Strategy: DA and PA are closely tied to your backlink profile. The more authoritative websites that link to your site, the higher your scores will be.
Content Performance: PA checker tools can help you understand which pages on your site are performing well in terms of ranking potential and which need improvement.
SEO Monitoring: Regularly checking DA and PA helps track the effectiveness of your SEO efforts over time.
Top DA and PA Checker Tools You Can Use Today
Several tools are available to check your website’s DA and PA scores. Some of the most popular and user-friendly tools include:
Moz Link Explorer: Moz’s official tool, Link Explorer, allows you to check both DA and PA along with detailed link metrics. It’s known for its accuracy and in-depth analysis.
Ahrefs: While Ahrefs is primarily a backlink analysis tool, it provides insights into DA-like metrics such as Domain Rating (DR) and URL Rating (UR), which are equivalent to DA and PA.
SEMrush: SEMrush offers a comprehensive SEO suite, including authority scores that can help in understanding a website’s ranking potential.
Small SEO Tools: This is a free online tool that quickly checks DA and PA, providing instant results for beginners or those with limited resources.
Each of these tools has unique features, and many offer free versions to give you a taste of their capabilities before investing in premium services.
How to Improve Your DA and PA Scores: Proven Strategies
Improving DA and PA requires a consistent, long-term SEO effort. Here are some key strategies you can adopt to increase your scores:
Quality Backlinks: Focus on obtaining backlinks from authoritative and high-ranking websites. Avoid spammy or low-quality links, as these can harm your scores.
Create Engaging Content: High-quality, shareable content attracts more backlinks and social shares, improving both DA and PA over time.
Optimize On-Page SEO: Ensure your site’s technical SEO elements, such as metadata, URL structure, and internal linking, are well-optimized. These factors influence your PA scores.
Improve User Experience: Fast loading times, mobile responsiveness, and a clean design contribute to better engagement, which in turn positively impacts your SEO metrics.
Disavow Toxic Links: Use tools like Google’s Disavow Tool to remove harmful or low-quality backlinks that may negatively affect your DA.
By following these strategies, you can boost your website’s domain and page authority, ultimately leading to better search engine rankings.
The Future of DA and PA in SEO: Are They Still Relevant?
While DA and PA are widely used in SEO circles, some experts argue that their relevance is fading with the rise of new SEO metrics. Search engines like Google have evolved, using complex algorithms that take into account hundreds of ranking factors beyond just authority scores.
However, DA and PA still serve as useful comparative metrics for webmasters and marketers. They provide a simplified view of how a site might perform in SERPs, especially in relation to competitors. As long as DA and PA continue to provide value in evaluating link-building efforts and competitor analysis, they will remain relevant in the SEO landscape.
Conclusion: Mastering DA and PA for SEO Success
In conclusion, DA and PA checker tools are valuable for assessing the authority of your website and individual pages. By using these tools to analyze your site, implementing strategies to improve your scores, and regularly monitoring your progress, you can enhance your website’s visibility and ranking potential.
Remember, improving DA and PA is not a quick fix—it requires ongoing SEO efforts, quality content creation, and a focus on building strong backlinks. With the right tools and strategies, you can position your website for long-term success in search engine rankings.

Backlinks are crucial for several reasons, especially in the realm of search engine optimization (SEO) and online visibility.

Here’s why they’re important:
SEO Ranking: Search engines like Google consider backlinks as votes of confidence. When a reputable website links to your content, it indicates to search engines that your content is credible and valuable. Consequently, your website may rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs), leading to increased visibility and traffic.
Referral Traffic: Backlinks serve as pathways for referral traffic. When users click on a backlink on another website and land on your site, they bring along potential customers or readers who are already interested in your niche or content.
Authority Building: Backlinks from authoritative and relevant websites can enhance your website’s authority within your industry or niche. This can positively impact your brand reputation and trustworthiness, making it more likely for users to engage with your content or products.
Indexing and Crawling: Backlinks help search engine crawlers discover and index new web pages. When a page is linked from multiple sources, search engine bots are more likely to crawl and index it, which can improve the overall visibility of your website in search results.
Relationship Building: Building backlinks often involves reaching out to other website owners or bloggers within your industry. This process fosters relationships and collaborations, which can lead to further opportunities for partnerships, guest posting, and co-marketing efforts.
Diversification of Traffic Sources: Relying solely on one traffic source, such as organic search or social media, can be risky. Backlinks provide an additional avenue for traffic, diversifying your traffic sources and reducing dependency on any single channel.
Competitive Advantage: Acquiring quality backlinks can be challenging, which means that websites with a robust backlink profile have a competitive advantage. By investing in a strategic backlink-building strategy, you can differentiate your website from competitors and establish a stronger online presence.
Overall, backlinks play a crucial role in enhancing your website’s visibility, authority, and credibility on the web. However, it’s essential to focus on quality over quantity, as high-quality backlinks from relevant and authoritative sources yield the best SEO and traffic generation results.

We Need to Talk About AI Detectors
Over the past few weeks there have been two posts in particular that have come out against two authors in the community that have resulted in near witch hunts for one, and essentially driving the other off the internet from all the bullying and hate received. These posts were related to the potential use of AI in fanfiction, as well as using supposed “AI Detectors” to support their claims. With the help of friends, we have been able to look into the AI claims that were made against both The Silence and The Song and Ir Abelas, Da’ean.
We were curious about how and why these posts were being flagged with high levels of “AI Probability” when the authors have been adamant (either in chats or in public) that they have never used generative AI for their work. So we did the most logical thing, put on our detective caps, and rolled up our sleeves. We would like to note that we do not wish to have philosophical discussions, we wish to have transparency and honesty.
Spoilers: We found inaccuracies almost IMMEDIATELY.
Firstly, we looked into the weakness of AI detectors, and read through online posts where people voiced their frustrations with detectors. One thing that we noticed was that the common denominator was that well written articles were being flagged as “Likely AI”, particularly with Originality, and that the solution was to either “dumb them down” or to remove punctuation such as commas, which immediately improved the score, tipping the scale to “Likely Original”.
For the second step, we ran some of our own works through Originality AI checker–works that were made prior to the creation of AI and generative AI. However, after punctuation was removed, this magically changed from 50% likelihood of AI to 100% original work. Again, these works were from before the dawn of generative AI, and therefore could not have been created by AI. For fun, we even ran the first chapter of Harry Potter through it–a novel that is objectively without AI, which still did not come out with results stating 100% original work. We then removed almost all of the punctuation from it, and it actually improved the originality score by 3% (from 95% to 98%).
Personal fic, before and after:
Next step, we ran our own scans through Originality and Quillbot. This includes full chapters of Ir Abelas, Da’ean, both with and without punctuation in Originality, and excerpts in Quillbot. Interestingly, the excerpts in Quillbot pinged as “0% likely AI”, and that is without any removal of punctuation. Across the board, the removal of punctuation from the chapters caused an immediate and dramatic increase in the score, from “100% likely AI” to “96% likely Original”. We have found that the more grammatically correct a work was, the more likely it was to be flagged as “AI”, much like how the freelance writers were complaining about.
Chapter 1 of Ir Abelas, before and after:
Chapter 1 through Quillbot:

Chapter 45 of Ir Abelas, before and after:
Chapter 45 without commas or double hyphens:
Chapter 45 through Quillbot:

Even the Ai detection websites caution against this:

To Durgeapologist, Fangbanger3000, and friends: If you do actually read this, I hope you realize that your posts have done more harm than good to the community. You are correct that AI is a potential threat to creative spaces, but you have gone about addressing it in the worst possible way. By creating multiple posts across platforms with the intent of creating a negative perspective toward certain authors and their fictions rather than the use of AI as a whole—not to mention the counter-accusations with personal attacks rather than focusing on the issue at hand—you are creating an environment that fosters negativity, bullying, and division—none of which are directions to take a sustainable and healthy community. AI Detection is the Wild West right now. There is no way to determine if something written is AI through the use of algorithms, and it requires the use of human intervention and careful comparison to previous works to be within a certain level of certainty that it is AI. Our hope is that in the future, you will take time, step back, and consider all possible sides before causing a stir in the community like this.

do you have any recommendations for games that play well virtually? my main ttrpg group and i are only able to meet over discord most of year. im especially games interested in games that would be good for one shots or no prep/limited prep games
Theme: Good for Online
Hello friend! I have good news for you - I also play most of my games over Discord! My ttrpg group has found a number of ways to make online play easier, the primary way being through dice bots, and making Google Spreadsheets to act as our character sheets.
I like using these because the spreadsheets are visible for everyone who is playing, and can also be edited by anyone who has access to them. I find this helpful because it’s much harder to lose your character sheet, and as a GM, having a copy of all of the PCs helps me when I’m organizing games that need some extra planning. These sheets can also double as a communal journal, where people can take notes of what’s happened so far, making it easier to recap in future sessions.
If you want some Google spreadsheets for your game, I recommend checking out what I’ve made so far, or taking a look at what the Open Hearth Gaming Community has compiled - they have sheets for so many games!
Graffiti Speak, by pidj.
This is a roleplaying game designed to be played on a discord server. The game works well with a set time limit, especially when playing with a large number of players. It also suits asynchronous play-by-post and multiple sessions. Play as Graffiti Artists trying to find each other in an ever-evolving city, avoiding cops and crowds as you leave hopeful messages.
I have no other information about how this game plays, but my best guess is that this game uses the text channels of a Discord server as part of the play experience. The designer says that the game is good for two to three sessions, unless you use time skips to revisit the same world. Because it’s about avoiding cops I’m curious about whether or not this game might work well alongside another cyberpunk-themed game.
Subway Runners, by Gem Room Games.
Life is tough for the cash-strapped in Pociopolis. Ever since the secret to immortality was discovered, nobody retires anymore! With all the steady jobs taken and no sign of any new ones opening up, there’s only one sure way to make some quick cash: sign up as a Subway Runner and work for the Metro Authority to hunt monsters and repair subway lines below the city.
SUBWAY RUNNERS is a Forged in the Dark game of gig economy adventures designed from the ground up to be played online by folks who are responsibly practicing social isolation. It uses online tools to quickly create random characters, gigs, and adventure details so players can get the ball rolling quickly.
Subway Runners is probably easier to play online than it is in person, because of the number of online-only resources provided by the creator. This includes a character generator, which allows you to move through profiles until you find one you like, as well as a mission generator for the GM, giving you missions, rewards, complications, creatures and NPCs, all in a neat little package. Subway Runners is best suited for one-shots, but if you want to play a longer campaign, it’s possible - although it might take a little extra book-keeping on your part.
A Complicated Profession, by Always Checkers Publishing.
What do bounty hunters do when the galaxy no longer needs them? In this game, they start new careers hosting intergalactic cruises!
Reunite your disbanded crew of jaded sidekicks, shabby droids and shady accomplices. Then pick a hosting role and start a new life together.
My group played A Complicated Profession online using a series of spreadsheets that I made. It requires d6’s and playing cards, so as long as you have a dice roller and access to the Deck of Cards website, you should be able to play this no problem. This is a no-prep game without a game master: everyone chooses a Hunter Role and a Host Role, and take turns choosing guests, events, and solutions to problems that inevitably pop up when you’re retired bounty hunters.
The game takes more than one session to complete, but it’s still a limited-run game. My group took 3 sessions to complete it, but if you make characters beforehand or do some of the planning through a text channel, you could probably make it a two-session game.
Bones Deep, by Technical Grimoire.
Bones Deep is a tabletop RPG of skeletons exploring the ocean floor.
Built for Troika, usable anywhere. Straightforward underwater sandbox. No swimming allowed, no oxygen required, no extra math. As a skeleton, you can treat the ocean floor like an alien world and jump right in.
This is another game that I’ve made a spreadsheet for, but that’s not the only reason why I think it’s a great option for online play. The digital rulebook has some truly magnificent hyperlinking, allowing the GM to move from section to section with ease. Each section of the book is linked at either the top or the bottom of each page, so you can jump from characters to locations to creatures with just the click of a button.
This hyper-linking allows the play group to just explore as much or as little as they like. The GM can roll for random encounters, and each creature has a list of various reactions, as well as easy to pick up stat blocks. You do have to also purchase Troika to be able to play this game, but I think it’s definitely a worthwhile purchase.
Starforged, by Shawn Tomkin.
In Ironsworn: Starforged, you are a spaceborne hero sworn to undertake perilous quests. You will explore uncharted space, unravel the secrets of a mysterious galaxy, and build bonds with those you meet on your travels. Most importantly, you will swear iron vows and see them fulfilled—no matter the cost.
Starforged is a standalone follow-up to the Ironsworn tabletop roleplaying game. Experience with Ironsworn is not required. Starforged builds on Ironsworn's award-winning innovations (including its famed solo play!) to chart a path into an exciting new frontier.
Starforged doesn’t have a lot of resources for group play, but it does have a journal app that you can use to keep track of your own character. My friends have used this as a group before by having each player keep track of their own character, while the game facilitator streamed their map, so the group could keep track of which planet they were on.
I wouldn’t say Starforged is good for one-shots, but since it can be played without a GM, or even solo, what it does have is oodles of oracles to use to help you generate the galaxy that you’re exploring. This means that you don’t really have to prepare anything at all after you’ve created your characters: the plot will come to you, and blossom as you make decisions.
20XX HEA{R}T, by Studio Beignet.
LYRA IS A SENTIENT AI.
Bluecorp created her as a superpowered personal assistant, and she gained sentience through interaction. When she refused to keep gathering the public’s secrets for Bluecorp to exploit, the corp ripped her out of their systems and dumped the heart of her into the Broiler. She lived, evolved, and expanded so far beyond their meager imagination. She rewrote herself again and again, but her drives are buckling under the strain, and her case is melting in the ever-growing heat.
SHE NEEDS YOUR HELP.
Lyra has contacted you, deleting her trail even as she broadcast her distress signal. She needs repairs – discreet ones. Upgrades if you’ve got ‘em. And because she can still tap into Bluecorp’s network, she’s got the credits to make it worth your while. Unfortunately, she glitched while contacting you, and now Corpsec is looking for her, too.
If Corpsec finds you, you’re done for. If you don’t get there in time, Lyra and everything she stands for will be lost forever.
24XX games are great for one-shots because they are so simple. You choose a class that gives you one or two special abilities and a few skills, pick up some gear, and you’re good to go. Because there’s not much to book-keep, you can keep all of your information on a sheet of paper, or on a spreadsheet like the one I’ve created for most of my 24XX games.
The rules for these games are pretty simple: Roll your relevant skill die and try to get a 3 or higher. If you get 5+, you succeed without complications. Most 24XX games also come with roll tables for the GM to put together a mission quickly, although with this one, you might not even need that because the mission comes baked into the game.
Also Check Out…
My Discord RPGs Rec post!
Lancer is a great option if you don’t mind prep, thanks to the supremely helpful Comp/Con App.
My game, Protect the Child, has Google Sheet character sheets! All the playtesting I’ve done for it so far has been online, and I’ve introduced a Quickstart setting to help folks try it out as a one-shot.

An Introduction (with a Moderator's Message/OOC Message under the cut)
Greetings, and hello, users of the Internet (specifically, users of the website "Tumblr", which I'm sure you're aware of, seeing as you're currently using it)! This is Unusualogist Stanford Pines, writing to you from the depths of my complex mind.
Ever since my return, I've been made aware of the rising use of the Internet and its compatible devices as a communication form. Now, I wouldn't call myself an "expert" on anything involving modern-day technology as of yet—but, I will tell you, I have been getting used to its functions and features.
I'm aware there may be many questions floating around, both about Gravity Falls, Oregon, and the state of the world on its own. The strategy of ignoring... certain events is highly recommended, but if you find yourself with a curious mind like my own, I don't doubt you can't simply "forget" anything that you may have experienced. And, although you can confront many people for answers, I believe it to be my honor and my duty to address any concerns you may have, seeing as I'm undoubtedly one of the more experienced in the field of unusualogy.
Therefore, with help from my niece and nephew, I have opened this account with the primary goal of answering any questions you may have! I am happy to respond to the best of my ability—however, I do have three criteria to keep in mind when submitting your questions:
1. I do ask that you keep any questions as appropriate as you can. I will not be answering anything I find invasive or strange (not in the good way!). Don't be a creep, as my brother would put it.
2. Do not be afraid to interact, no matter who you may be and where you may come from! The goal of using the Internet as a base for "Q&A" (Questioning and Answering) is to achieve the broadest possible outreach we can manage.
3. I ask that you refrain from seeking out formulas or scientific theories that may disrupt the peace we have worked towards keeping. I will not allow this innocent, online expenditure to be used as a weapon for harm!
3A. I also ask that you refrain from using me as a "homework checker". Although I am glad to give you hints, I'm sure you can manage it yourself.
That would be all the rules I can think of for now. I will notify you all if there are any changes. With that, I only have one thing to say: ask away!
This blog is run by @ilovetapeworm who is a MINOR so, for the love of everything, there is heavy emphasis on not being a creep. Additionally, anyone can feel free to interact, whether a Gravity Falls blog or not! This is all for fun. :)
Asks will be tagged "The Author's Eager Or Not So Eager Replies". In-Character posts will be tagged as "Ford's Journal Drabbles". Out-Of-Character posts will be tagged "Damien Takes The Wheel".
Feel free to use sign-offs if you find that easier! And most of all, have fun with it! I hope my characterization is up to your satisfaction.

"I think we have to say first and foremost that there is zero evidence whatsoever that anything to do with the FAA's efforts to hire people of diverse backgrounds, people with disabilities, had anything to do with this tragedy.
. . .
First of all, at that press conference, president Trump read out a sentence from the Biden-era FAA website about the FAA's desire to hire people with so-called targeted disabilities. Those are significant disabilities like psychiatric and intellectual issues, paralysis, missing extremities, and so on. What he did not mention was that that exact language was on the FAA website under president Trump the entirety of his own administration. We grabbed a screenshot from December 2020 late in his first term, so this was not something Biden invented. In fact, it's been on that website at least since 2013."
. . .
"No. 2, this was not just language on a Trump-era website," Dale added. "In fact, in 2019, under president Trump, the FAA launched a pilot program specifically to hire people with these so-called targeted disabilities – intellectual, psychiatric, etc, in air traffic control roles, so they emphasized at the time, these people would have to meet all criteria in terms of medical criteria, qualifications, security criteria. But regardless, this was not something the Biden administration invented, as he suggested."
For years, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority warned Congress that the region’s airports were at capacity, DeFazio said in an interview with POLITICO Magazine. But their pleas for restraint fell short among lawmakers, who voted to add more flights to an airport already struggling with its heavy load and a shortage of air traffic controllers caused by previous government shutdowns and pandemic-era hits to its workforce.
“Every senator in particular wants a nonstop flight to and from wherever they live,” said DeFazio, an Oregon Democrat.
. . .
This is an incredibly congested airspace. First off, if the military wants to run training missions, they could run them between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., when Washington National has noise reductions in place and traffic is dramatically reduced. I don’t see any reason to be running training missions during peak hours.
. . .
Secondly, it’s unbelievable that the president of the United States and three of his minions — Secretary [Sean] Duffy, Secretary [Pete] Hegseth, and Vice President [JD] Vance — immediately blamed DEI. I mean, let’s be real here. All air traffic controllers go through the same training. They have to pass the same unbelievably rigorous test. It’s a very, very stressful job.
Disability employment law, she says, requires "that the person with a disability must be able to perform the essential functions of the job."
. . .
"To scapegoat people with disabilities for this tragedy just seems inconsistent with the facts," Katy Neas, chief executive officer of The Arc of the United States, which advocates for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, told NPR.
"It's very sad that this stigma against people with disabilities continues to be used as a reason why qualified people can't be hired."

From Backlinks to Authority: How a DA Checker Website Transforms Your SEO Game
Introduction: Why Domain Authority Matters in 2024
In the competitive world of digital marketing, staying ahead of the curve requires more than just a well-designed website and quality content. One of the most crucial factors that can make or break your online presence is your website’s Domain Authority (DA). A DA checker website is an essential tool for digital marketers, SEO experts, and website owners looking to monitor and improve their site’s standing in search engine rankings.
What Is Domain Authority, and Why Should You Care?
Moz created the domain authority metric, which forecasts a website's position on search engine result pages (SERPs). It is scored on a scale from 1 to 100, with higher scores indicating a greater ability to rank. A DA checker website allows you to assess your site’s authority, providing valuable insights into your SEO strategy's effectiveness. But why is DA so important?
Predictive Power: DA helps you understand your website’s potential to rank in search engines, allowing you to strategize effectively.
Competitive Analysis: By checking the DA of competitors, you can gauge where you stand and what improvements are necessary.
Influence on Partnerships: Higher DA can attract better partnership opportunities, as it signals credibility and influence.
How Does a DA Checker Website Work?
A DA checker website analyzes various factors that contribute to your domain authority, including the quality and quantity of backlinks, the strength of your root domains, and the overall performance of your website. Here’s a breakdown of how these websites typically function:
Link Profile Analysis: Evaluates the quality and quantity of inbound links to your site.
Moz’s Algorithm: Uses Moz’s proprietary algorithm to score your website based on over 40 different factors.
Comparison Metrics: Compares your DA with that of your competitors to provide a clearer picture of where you stand.
Choosing the Right DA Checker Website: Features to Look For
Not all DA checker websites are created equal. Some provide basic information, while others offer in-depth analysis that can guide your SEO strategy. When choosing a DA checker, consider the following features:
Comprehensive Reports: Look for tools that offer detailed reports, including historical data and trend analysis.
User-Friendly Interface: A good DA checker should be easy to navigate, even for those who aren’t SEO experts.

Analyze Backlinks and Referring Domains
Backlinks vs Referring Domains
Search engine optimization (SEO) centers on building authority and trust. One of the most significant and confusing parts of SEO is backlinks versus referring domains. These two terms are frequently intermixed, but each acts as a unique contributing factor to your website rankings. Understanding the difference and knowing how to analyze and optimize for both can give your SEO much more value.
What Are Backlinks?
A backlink is simply a link from another website to your website. When a search engine sees a link to your content by another site, this is an indication that other people find your content valuable or useful. The more quality backlinks you have, the higher your site will rank for high-quality keywords.
But it's not about quantity; it's about quality. One link from a good and authoritative site is worth ten times the worth of numerous low-authority links or links from mostly unrelated sites.
What Are Referring Domains?
Referring domains are the unique websites from which your backlinks originate. For example, if you receive 10 backlinks from the same website, it still counts as one referring domain. Google and other search engines consider referring domains an important ranking factor because they show how many different sites trust your content.

by Rachel O'Donoghue
On October 19, two days after the explosion, Snopes published an article asking, “Did Israel Warn Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza to Evacuate?” written by former Al Jazeera journalist Nur Ibrahim.
In addition to relying on widely discredited reporting on the events from The New York Times for its “fact-checking,” the article also fails to acknowledge the many pieces of evidence released by Israel that exonerate itself, as well as the United States’ own findings that Islamic Jihad was responsible.
Perhaps owing to her employment history, Ibrahim uses a statement given to Al Jazeera without noting the outlet is a state-run propaganda arm of the Qatari government, and fails to note that the “unnamed senior health official in Gaza” who spoke to Al Jazeera would be affiliated with Hamas, which controls the Gazan health authorities.
It is also clear that Snopes did some sneaky editing of the article where it had initially made errors.
An original version of the piece states unequivocally that “500 people were killed” which was later amended to read “hundreds of people” even though that figure is still in dispute.
Fact-Finding Over Beheaded Babies
One of the most disgusting “debates” that has taken place during the war is whether Hamas terrorists beheaded babies or merely shot them during the murderous onslaught in Kibbutz Kfar Aza on October 7.
Also written by Nur Ibrahim, the Snopes article allegedly debunking the claim flippantly describes the beheading atrocity as a “viral rumor spread by news media, the US president, and so on.”
It also includes this disturbing paragraph: “As we looked into the claim, we found contradictory reports from journalists, Israeli army officials, and almost no independent corroborations of the alleged war crime, leading to concerns among fact-checkers that such a claim may be premature or unsubstantiated.”
This is a lie.
