STEP RIGHT UP, STEP RIGHT UP, WE GOT A HELL OF A MATCH TODAY FOLKS! ONE THE LEFT, WE HAVE THE MINOTAUR! Around 7-9 feet (2.1-2.7 m) tall, cunning with maps and traps and such, literally as strong as an ox, and has a blatant disrespect for authority! They're starting to lose the bloodthirsty and brutal influence of the demon lord who created them, but displays of power still seem to run in their blood just as strong. So it'll likely be rough!

AND ON THE RIGHT. The one people fought tooth and nail to get in here, THE WEREBOAR! Can turn into a boar, a person, or a boar-person. Unlike most, they don't actually get bigger in their hybrid form, just bulkier. They're crude, live for a fight, and assume everyone's out to get them...but if you DO manage to befriend one they're ride-or-die for life. The often end up with orc tribes regardless of base species. It turns out that "Tusked person who likes foraging and fighting and is willing throw down for its family in an instant" always fits in just fine.

Guests for tonight's game include Shkad the AWOL lizard man who drank too much leech wine and was separated from his patrol. He hopes to make enough money to bribe his superiors when he returns. Also playing is Gergy d'Ambreville, "a distantly related member of the famed d'Ambreville family of the House of Sylaire in New Averoigne (described in D&D module X2 Castle Amber). Like many members of that family, Gergy is afflicted with lycanthropy. His disease causes him to periodically transform into a wereboar."

On the left, Githzerai! Philosopher monks with psychic powers. They live in the the plane of chaos, holding entire cities together in endless chaos storms using sheer willpower and dedication. They're fiercely loyal, put a high value on personal freedom, and can see a few seconds into the future to course-correct when they're about to mess up. Many have psionic powers like mage hand, and the most powerful even control gravity! They are also INCREDIBLY anti-fascist. Like they fought dragons, branched off from their base species, and faced the swirling chaos dimension over it.
