Fantasy AU: H!DS Creepypasta Squad
Fester (Almomon & Blake)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i pulled a name out of thin air for the kid, but yeah. that's the real 'Bobby'. and she's alive! mostly! also i forgot she was supposed to be like 15 so now she's closer to 10. oops?
You'll note the funky black marks on her chest? yeah she went through some shit. It doesn't bother her (much.) anymore, but it does hurt if you apply pressure, like a bruise.
Blake was a faun already. since her possession, she acquired more horns (mainly the spikse in the middle), claws, and those glowing tattoo things. The tiny horns were there originally, and had just started to grow, but they changed colors once Fester moved in. Also, those 'tattoos' are actually the magic keeping her alive, and while they don't hurt her, they may dim or flicker if she overexerts herself. Which is much easier now than it used to be.
As a faun she'd already had better hearing and sense of smell than a human, but she can sense the power of beings around her; particularly demonic and otherwise magical beings.
Almomon isn't ever seen in their real form anymore, but that's what they looked like. not much different from normal.
Blake and Almomon, who prefers to be addressed as 'Fester' and hasn't told anyone except (maybe) Blake what their real name is, switch control of their shared body. When Fester is in control, they can use some of their demonic magic. Blake can also use some, but it doesn't come naturally to her.
haha i forgot to save the first one as the ref (pain and agony)
Spindle
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Normal catfolk (past) on the left, and demon catfolk (present) on the right. He got to keep the necklace (which is from sparrow) and gloves, since he wasn't kidnapped, didn't lose his mind, and they actually wanted to help. Unfortunately the rest of his clothes didn't fit him anymore. can you do me a favor and just pretend they have both feet on the platform and they're not partially hovering. okay thank you
he thinks he's very cool now (and he's right) and likes showing off. especially to sparrow. shocking i know
Physical changes include longer fur, weirder teeth, weirder eyes, horns, fur color changing, tail shape changing, and longer claws, arms, and legs. He can also run on all fours now.
Regarding the cane: It's possible for him to walk without it. But it's not recommended and he can't go very far. Like. walking across the house is probably all he can do without having serious problems. This does mean he can do funky fighting poses for a minute or two though.
anyway you'd be surprised how easy it is to get away with stealing stuff when everyone thinks you're too disabled to be a threat. it still pisses him off but hey. he's got shinies. it'll be a bit harder to do that now that he's a clearly a demon, and also he's hanging out with a fricken paladin, but he's totally turned over a new leaf! (he says, slipping a stolen trinket into sparrow's pocket)
Pulaski
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Couldn't decide between bear furry and a dragonborn for a while, but bear 100% fit better i think. look at him. i love him. he could probably pick fester up with one hand like they weigh nothing.
He ran into this random kid wandering around on her own and asked where her parents were. Blake cheerfully informed him that she's possessed and doesn't need parents, at which point Fester took over and actually. explained.
See the thing is, as much as Fester wants to help, they have no idea how to take care of a kid. They can keep her alive, sure, but actually taking care of her is a whole other thing. pulaski help
Pulaski was happy to help, though admittedly for a while he was waiting for Fester to jump him or something. He's quite glad the demon is actually chill. fester is quite glad pulaski was willing to help at all.
Blake was kinda pissy about Fester asking Pulaski to stay with them for a while, because she really didn't think she needed an adult. but if anyone talks shit about pulaski now she's gonna start biting. very literally. watch out. that's her papa bear don't you dare say anything bad about him
...now i'm imagining him picking her up by the scruff of her neck while she screeches and tries to fight whoever was talking shit. biting and clawing at the air like an angry kitten. i think this is officially my favorite version of the creepypasta squad
Sparrow
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i did what i could to get him to match the house sparrow's colors. but there's only so much i could do. Anyway 1/2 human, 1/2 birdfolk. he takes after his birdfolk parent a lot more. idk man something about spindle being a cat and sparrow being a bird and them dating
anyway jseus chirst that side profiule is so fcuking cool no wonder spindle is so down bad

Me wondering why my cat and i have spent pretty much all day in my winter bed blanket and pillow nest and kinda shivering when I’m outside of it, checks my weather app
Tumblr media
Oh. That would do it
#emma posts#listen. I love Minnesota but damn#some days I’m like ‘do we HAVE to have a competition with Antarctica?’#I know it’s global warming fucking with weather patterns#we didn’t use to get this this often#we also didn’t get as many summer droughts and temperatures in the 100s often#one of those things can give me seizures and it’s actually not the cold#lakes my beloved is fucking die without you#what good is enough snow to do outdoor activities if you would freeze too quickly#last winter it was too warm and dry and when we did get precipitation it was freezing rain#global warming fuckery#still. I at least don’t have to worry about seizures from stepping outside 👍#and it’s actually pretty when we have snow#the other night it was warm enough to snow and we got these huge flakes that looked all sparkly like big glitter chunks#and full moons on the snow are gorgeous#I don’t hate winter tbh. I just get cranky about extreme weather happening so often#for a variety of reasons from climate activism history to it just sucking ass#we used to only get days like this once every couple of years#now it seems like it’s either this cold or too warm for real winter#my family signed up for a certain kinda weather when they immigrated here a century ago#and this wasn’t exactly it. at least not this frequently#I’m just glad buildings have better insulation and weather proofing now#the farm house was bad enough before my parents remodeled over the years#you can still feel cold when it gets like this though#but I’m actually at my apartment right now and it’s usually a bit warmer because of everyone’s body heat and it being brick#my window here does have a break in the seal somewhere though#I’ve got six pillows. one of those chair back type pillows. and three blankets plus my cat right now#i would turn up the heat more but my cat and I don’t want to leave my bed#I should put socks on#thanks grandma for making me a pair of really thick pajama pants for winter

Imagine if Ballora was really cold--whether that's because of how it is outside, or the castle itself is always rather chilly--with or without lit fireplaces--and Springtrap considered what he should do...
But then he just wraps himself around her. He's fluffy and he has a cape!!
Bnnuy creature keeping her nice and warm :)
<Incorrect-FNaF-Quotes
*cracks knuckles* All right, it’s scene writing time. I’ve been waiting for this opportunity.
-
Ballora shivered as she stared out the window. “Why does it always snow here at the most inconvenient times?” she thought as she sat on the couch. “I was just about having a nice walk in the garden, and now we’re stuck in the sitting room.” She halted her train of thought to look at Springtrap. From what she could tell, he was also looking very annoyed— But his was the kind of annoyance a farmer would feel towards his ever-faithful rooster waking him up early in the morning. He expected it— maybe was even used to it—yet that didn’t change his mood. “Perhaps I should rest here until the storm clears,” Ballora resumed as she huddled in her spot. “No need to make him even more irritated by reminding him. Besides, I’ve waited out storms back home…”
Springtrap, meanwhile, paced around. He was annoyed about the storm, sure, but that wasn’t his concern. “What exactly are we supposed to do to pass the time?” he asked aloud (out of habit). “I would have given you a book to read, but the sun’s been blocked out by all of these clouds! It’s abysmal–!” He stopped short. His ears twitched as he caught a strange, yet familiar sound: Chattering teeth. And they certainly weren’t his own. A new thought entered his mind.
Was… Ballora freezing over there?
Step by step, Springtrap neared the couch. His ears were on high alert as his eyes strained to see correctly. The chattering was only getting louder, and so were the other signs of distress.
He ducked behind the couch as soon as he got close enough. His mind raced with ideas he hadn’t considered in ages. What if Ballora— since she wasn’t a giant rabbit-like thing— got colder much faster? What if she got sick if she didn’t warm up soon? Even if her village life did prepare her for winters like this, wouldn’t it be better if he did try to warm her up somehow— Even if it was just a gesture of courtesy? How would he even warm her up in the first place, anyway?  By using the fireplace? By fetching a blanket that somehow survived his frequent raging?
His claws dug into the back of the couch. His ears pinned back as he tried to strategize… Then the sound of his own frantic noises made him remember: He was a rabbit. One that had every single way to produce enough heat on his own, no less.
He heaved a sigh full of relief.. Before it turned into embarrassment. “Well, old Springs,” he thought to himself as he prepared to sit on the couch, “you better hope you don’t share the same ‘fight or flight’ instincts of your fellow rabbits. Whether you like it or not, you’re going to have to prepare for a waist-level something— Be it a cuddle or a hug.”
Ballora heard the rabbit’s approach, but she was too preoccupied with the cold to think anything of it. It was the sudden feeling  of being gently pulled upright that snapped her out of her stupor. Then the sensation of something being wrapped around her as she laid on something much warmer. “Springtrap?” she stammered out at last. “Are we…? Did you…?”
“‘Yes’ and ‘yes’,” Springtrap answered, trying to sound nonchalant. “If I didn’t, then you would have turned into an ice statue.”
Ballora looked up at him with wide eyes. “The guide said that rabbits don’t like anyone touching their stomachs,” she explained. “Something about it making them feel like they’re vulnerable prey, if I remember it right.”
Springtrap scoffed. “Did this guide say anything about normal rabbits snuggling for warmth?” he questioned gruffly. “Did it assume that they can’t do that because of this fear?”
“Well, no,” Ballora corrected as firmly as she could. “They could huddle together if they needed to, from what I gathered.”
“Then simply assume that I am doing that instead,” Springtrap retorted with a slight tremor. “We are simply huddling for warmth. Nothing more, nothing less.”
Ballora would have accepted that answer, but one detail made her think otherwise. “If that’s true, then why have you been having to ‘correct’ your posture every time you’ve been answering?” she asked as a smile started to grow. “Seems to me like you want to lean right on top of me.. Almost like a rabbit about to ‘flop’ onto the floor.”
Springtrap did not have a good answer for that.
In which Springtrap tries to pretend to be tough while warming up Ballora (and trying to fight rabbity instincts), but Ballora’s not falling for it lol.

Winterizing Your Garage Door: A Checklist
As the temperatures drop and winter sets in, your garage door needs some extra attention. Extreme cold can affect its performance, making it harder to open and close, and even leading to damage if not properly maintained. Winterizing your garage door not only helps to keep it functioning smoothly but also protects your home from drafts, moisture, and potential break-ins.
Here’s a checklist to help you prepare your garage door for the winter months:
1. Inspect the Weatherstripping
The rubber weatherstripping along the edges of your garage door prevents cold air, snow, and rain from getting inside. Over time, weatherstripping can crack or deteriorate, leading to drafts and increased energy bills. Check for any visible damage and replace the weatherstripping if necessary. This simple fix can make a huge difference in insulating your garage.
2. Lubricate the Moving Parts
Cold weather can cause the parts of your garage door to stiffen up, leading to noisy operation or even jams. Regular lubrication is essential to keep everything running smoothly. Apply a silicone-based or lithium grease lubricant to the rollers, hinges, and springs. Avoid using WD-40 as it’s not a long-term lubricant, and could attract dust and dirt.
3. Check the Balance of Your Door
A garage door that’s out of balance will struggle to open and close, especially in colder temperatures. To check the balance, disconnect the opener and manually lift the door halfway. If it doesn’t stay in place, or feels heavy and difficult to lift, it’s time for an adjustment. An unbalanced door puts extra strain on your opener and can cause premature wear. For this, you may need professional assistance from garage door repair Martin County experts.
4. Inspect the Springs and Cables
Garage door springs are under a lot of tension and are especially vulnerable in cold weather. Check the springs for any visible wear, rust, or damage. If they’re in poor condition, don’t attempt to fix them yourself. Call a professional garage door repair Martin County technician to inspect and replace the springs, as they can be dangerous to handle without the proper tools.
5. Test the Garage Door Opener
Winter weather can affect the performance of your opener, especially if the sensors or wiring are exposed to the cold. Test the opener by using the remote or wall control to make sure it responds promptly. Also, check the safety sensors near the bottom of the door to ensure they’re aligned and working correctly. If the door doesn't reverse automatically when something blocks the sensors, it’s time for an inspection.
6. Clear the Tracks
Snow, ice, and debris can clog the tracks and prevent your garage door from operating correctly. Inspect the tracks for any blockages and clean them using a dry cloth. Avoid using water, as this could cause ice to form in the tracks.
Final Thoughts
Winterizing your garage door can prevent costly repairs and ensure your home stays warm and secure. Don’t wait until it’s too cold to take action. If you’re unsure about any of the maintenance tasks, or if your door is showing signs of wear, it’s always a good idea to call in a professional for a thorough inspection.
Contact a trusted garage door repair Martin County service today to ensure your garage door is ready for the winter season.

Linen can be great for winter when layered properly. While naturally breathable, its moisture-wicking and insulating qualities make it ideal for base layers or paired with wool and knits for cozy warmth....
