Okay, no that that spiel is over, we’ve got some headcanons to address about everyone's favorite afro-latino spiderman

He’s so precious. Idc if you know already I’m telling you again, he is the most precious thing in the world. He has a heart of gold and wears it on his sleeve, he’s always looking out for people and wants to see the best in everything and everyone. Which, while it is a good characteristic to have, can sometimes put him in tough situations, and sometimes it doesn’t end well.

He’s such a momma’s boy, but like the good momma’s boy where he adapts the things Rio teaches him and repays her by being a good filial son, even though he’s growing up and wanting to branch out. If he’s having emotional trouble, he’ll come to her to try and figure out how to express himself and understand how he’s feeling. On special occasions, or just when he notices her mood is off, Miles will conspire with his dad to do something small but special for his mom, like make breakfast or drop off flowers at her work. She’s always super appreciative of it too

Waking up for him is hell in the morning, because he is not a morning person at all. It’s worse if he went on patrol the night before (which, 9/10, he has) and he almost always sleeps through his alarm. He’s the type to have to have several alarms set to get up up, because otherwise he will sleep through the day

Similarly, Miles also finds it hard for him to sleep most nights. In the beginning of his career being Spiderman he would almost never go to sleep really. Even the trick of using nyquil or melatonin gummies didn’t work because his mind was always on one hundred, thinking about everything and nothing all at once. Though as he meets friends he can confide in and grows older he learns how to manage that kind of stress, which makes it easier to sleep. Though the insomnia never truly leaves him unfortunately, and its something he has to take with him for the rest of his life

Despite his introverted self, and the fact that he tends to want to keep to himself more often than not, Miles is actually very easy to talk to and if given the time and patience, great at making friends. He’s awkward at first because he wants to measure his interactions based on the vibe of the person he’s talking to, but you will find a hardcore loyal and caring friend in Miles.

So emotionally aware that it almost hurts. He’ll be upset and know why he’s upset, but sometimes wishes he didn’t know because in some situations he may not think his emotions are valid. And because he’s such an intentional person and a hyper empath, everything he feels is multiplied by ten. So if you fuck him over, he’s probably more upset about it than you’ll ever be if you were upset at fucking him over, if that makes sense?

He’s a cuddle-bug and nothing will change my mind about it! He had hella teddy bears as a little boy and would get upset if Rio took them to be washed because he was afraid he wouldn’t see them again. For no reason in particular he’s slowly dissipated his teddy bear collection and now uses a very fluffy body pillow to hold on to as he sleeps. Sometimes if he’s sick or just very down in the dumps and Rio notices, she’ll climb into bed with him for a while and comfort him

A decent cook actually as well! He was always in the kitchen when his mom and his tia’s came over to cook so he knows how to throw down in the kitchen a lil bit. His favorite thing to make is tamales because while the process may be tedious, it allows him to unwind and clear his mind while focusing on the preparation of them.

Miles’ is the type that when he goes into the store he will always, without fail, buy a new notebook/sketchpad. He may not even need it, he may already have like ten new ones he has yet to break in, but he always likes to stay prepared for when his current one runs out. He also likes to alternate between them or dedicate certain notebooks to certain muses or drawing preferences

Will squeak out of surprise and say something in spanish if he’s startled or scared. And I’m talking like a girlish squeak and it's so cute but he’d be so embarrassed, cuz why did you have to sneak up on him like that? He was doing perfectly fine til you wanted to give him a heart attack.

On the topic of spanish, he isn’t that confident in it so he doesn’t really like to speak it if its not with his family, because he just knows he’s gonna fuck it up. So if he feels like there's pressure in a conversation where he knows he’s going to have to speak it at some point, he’ll try to back out before that happens

Miles gets so fascinated with things all the time. It happens mostly when he’s either strolling through the neighborhood or he’s on patrol. Definitely checks himself out in the glass of skyscrapers…then promptly remembers that there are people behind said glass that can see him and hurriedly swings off. And if a new pair of Jordans have been teased? Best believe he’s doing all the chores and buttering up his parents so that he can get them as soon as they drop

Speaking of Jordans; this boy is such a sneakerhead it’s insane. His dorm room AND his room at home are full of shoe boxes he has yet to style with some clothes. Keeps telling his parents “I’ma wear ‘em, I’ma wear ‘em!” but he never has the time to cuz he’s too preoccupied with being a good student and Spiderman to prioritize style over comfort (even tho he do still be fresh n clean)

He’s also the best bestie to have. Texts you tiktoks, checks in on you at seemingly always the right time. If you go to school together then you know you’re hanging out after classes. And if you need help in the sciences, Miles is the best tutor ever. And his family loves you, so birthdays, christmas and other holidays, if you’re not already celebrating with your folks, if you don’t fuck with them like that, or if you don’t have a real family, he’s inviting you over his place all the time so that you never have to feel alone.

(dialover fandom was the first toxic fandom i stumbled into and i got harrassed and my art reposted and when i asked for it to be removed ppl yelled at me and told me my art doesnt belong to me but the internet when i post it. it caused me to delete everything and my acc and never share my fanart again with the internet)

(i did some HxH, NGE and overwatch/mchanzo in private tho during that time back when it was all new/before the mccree incident. but yea other than that mostly oc art and less fanart during these years)

seven ive-lost-count sentence sunday

thanks to @rmd-writes @kiwiana-writes and @welcometololaland for the wip wednesday tags, here’s some wip sharing as a seven sentence sunday instead because i am nothing if not timely!!

look ive put off writing rwrb because i knew itd be a major hyperfixation for me, but my dream fic doesn’t exist so i guess im writing it myself. so here is my henry-and-alex-never-got-back-together-after-the-lake-house-but-their-emails-still-leaked, exes-to-fake-dating-to-lovers fic.

Alex is drifting, half-asleep, when his phone buzzes. He shoots up, grappling at the nightstand in the early morning light with pathetic hope blooming in his chest, and answers it without looking at the screen.

“What did you do?” Zahra’s voice comes through the speaker.

“Um,” Alex says, confused. “Be more specific?”

“Check the fucking news, you horny little miscreant—how could you possibly be stupid enough to get photographed? I swear to God…”

Alex ends the call without saying a word, opens the browser on his phone and types his name into Google.

And right there, staring back at him, is Alex with his ex-decidedly-not-boyfriend.

A CCTV photo of Alex, one finger hooked into Henry’s belt loop, tugging him into his hotel room at the DNC, his neck craning forward and his teeth sinking into Henry’s lower lip.

Alex thinks two things simultaneously. The first, and most obvious, a resounding fuck.

The second, and more hysterical, is that they’re both smiling into the kiss, and it makes Alex’s chest burn.

A sound escapes Alex’s mouth at the sight of it, one that he is very thankful no one is around to hear, because it’s humiliating, but it chokes off in his throat when he sees the next search result.

Their emails.

Those private, beautiful relics of a relationship halted in its tracks before it even began. The words that Alex has turned over and dissected in his mind a thousand times in the last month, searching for clues, like they would explain why Henry doesn’t want him anymore, like they might reveal something he did at the lake house that turned Henry off so entirely that he didn’t even care to answ—

“Get dressed,” Zahra says as she bursts into Alex’s room without knocking, and snatching his phone out his hands. “You’re on communications lockdown until we figure out where this leak came from.”

chicago fan experience | i met matthew lillard!

so i went to chicago fan expo to meet matthew lillard, and at first the line situation was bonkers (/neg), had to wait an extra hour from when they said he would be back, no updates given during the entire time we were in the line and it wasn’t posted anywhere that it was cash only (my family was getting four different autographs so it would’ve been easier to card) and we only found out that it was cash only like 4 ppl before we were supposed to go up to him, and then his handler looked annoyed that we complained that it wasn’t posted anywhere about cash only (even tho we even said it wasn’t directly her fault).

which none of this was directly matthew’s fault at all and this isn’t me blaming him for it!!

but YALLLL when he did get back, it was probably the best autograph experience i’ve ever had and that’s as a frequent comic con etc goer. when he came back, he walked directly through the line itself, he was giving out high fives and he even hugged a small child that was on top of their parents shoulders (yall i got to HIGH FIVE MATTHEW LILLARDDDD and i got it on video). so some quick things about his autograph experience:

- he plays his own music from a speaker and he was listening to the hamilton soundtrack (he screamed the LADIES part in a winters ball in my face and i think ill forever think of him when listening to hamilton from now on), and then while my sister was in line for someone else he was playing Shinedown which is another win for me personally

- he was standing in front of the table and was giving hugs etc while doing stuff, he’s not one of those ones who just sits there and signs and sends you on your way

- he didn’t like the first signature he did on my moms print so he signed it again (4 more times in fact)

- he is so fine like don’t even get me started on how attractive he is irl

- i told him he needs to get into the new saw movie (sorry i need that cross over in my life) and he looked surprised and he said smth along the lines of “ill make it my mission” or smth like that

- so chatty and does a lot of banter, he said hamilton isn’t his favorite but it’s definitely up there!

- he does the voices of whatever’s he’s writing on your autograph (zoinks for shaggy, i always come back for afton etc)

we also got a photo op with him as well so if anyone wants to see the autographs or the photo op photo lmk!! i can also talk about other autographs i got too as matthew wasn’t the only one i met if anyone wants (jim cummings, butch hartman, grey delisle, diane pershing). and i might post a haul of everything i bought later if i feel like it idk.

i know this is getting long but i think ill be geeked out over this for the rest of my life especially as scooby doo was my very first and is my longest lasting hyperfixation and it definitely was the best m&g type experience ive ever had!!

But I'm writing fan fictions as an escape from MY reality, I have scenarios in my head and I simply put them on paper. I am not new to this shit. I was writing on Wattpad as a middle schooler and freshman in highschool YEARS ago. I just started taking this tumblr shit serious like a year ago.

If I'm writing smut, we all know mfs worried about the sex, not the plot behind it. if i'm writing fluff, I want stomach butterfly triggering content. If I want my feelings hurt imma write angst

I take y'all requests so y'all can have that little piece of escapism. Which is why I take requests serious to the bone, like I did on Wattpad when I was still active.

I am in Uni, getting a degree for English. I am still learning, I am still perfecting my craft. My shit not gon be like Kevin Kwan or Margaret Atwood like bro i'm 18. I am juggling a part-time job, class work, and trying to write my book simultaneously. I have eras where I hyperfixate on certain games, movies, and characters, and once that spark leaves it's hard for me to get that back.

When I lose motivation, I'm not gonna want to do deep research and shit like I did when I was first interested in the character.

Y'all don't ever say shit about Disney movies being unrealistic. Y'all don't say shit about popular characters when they make a 180 and have a whole redemption arc. Nobody talks about the unrealistic shit that happens in sci-fi and dystopian movies. So why y'all under my posts worried about details, you focusing on the wrong shit.

Get OFF my shit with the technicalities. Do you want a damn cookie for knowing the exact details? Like do you want me to be like "Oh my gosh you're right!" And change my shit. NO!

If you that worried, write it your damn self, or make a request.

One of my best friends (and bridesmaids) runs a monthly gender expansive crossdressing club, and 2-3 times a year, there's a huge clothing swap. Everyone brings stuff they don't fit anymore, or ordered online and never wore, and we lay it all out and "shop" each others treasures. Last night was one such swap, and when I got there, my friend mentioned how she'd just scored a "cool star trek shirt" and I was like yay for you! Imma look around. Then toward the end (after I found several vintage leather corsets that fit me from my fave now-defunct fetish company), we were chatting and I had my jacket on and she saw my new "Love Machine" Data pin and complimented me on it. My fiance and I laughed and I was like "yeaaah I've been preeeeeetty hyperfixated on commander data lately 😳" and she opened her backpack and was like "oh, then this was obviously meant for you, happy late birthday" and she hands me the fucking DATA TAROT CARD SHIRT. Can you believe my luck?! this was originally a twitter thread but mehhhh. the audience of one-two here get my insane venting instead. its 3am. I've had a rough day and I just want to list it out from worst to least worst. sorry if this is venting. again 3am. 1: my sister showed up completely unannounced, and waltzed in a fight with my other sister and her husband at their place. she had good reason to be here (she's homeless and is a fuckin ice age here. that's not a problem. we are glad she went to us for help.)-sadly she's an entitled fuck who begged my dad for cigs when we have NOTHING BUT A ROOF to give. its SCARY how poor we are. She was also VERY TRANSPHOBIC, which was not on my sister's bingo card this year. mainly about trans woman and their "complaining". my already shit sister saying terf shit was not smth i thought id hear. i was very upset about that. i haven't talked to her bc ik if i do, il cry but I've been giving her the silent treatment unless it's akward. 2: i have covid. had symptoms since like the 13th (i joked that i got it for my birthday) and its been a nightmare. i can't sleep. Eating sucks. my nose hurts. i think i blew a blood vessel in my eye. its just been the worst. 3: due to being unable to sleep, im wildly manic at 3am. i have nothing to do and no one to talk to. and im unreasonably upset that people on tiktok think Spongebob is a kid. like boi your face screams "post movie" pleaaasseee educate yourself on cartoon history. he is an adult! 4: after ALLL of this like 7 mins ago, the fire alarm randomly beeped a few times. luckily not a lot but still. stressed me the FUCK OUT. nothing is on. i think bc its the FUCKIN ICE AGE OUTSIDE, the apartment is a TAD too warm (witch its not. my feet are frozen)

5: found out today that scientists didn't start using real menstrual blood on pads/tampons till AUGUST OF LAST YEAR??? WTF WERE U USING BEFORE? That's why pads are always off SOMEHOW. SOMEHOW there's an issue. and tampons never fit right. they have been fuckin guessin for decades 6: my new cat is a needy hoe. I'm used to it but with covid and barely being able to walk/exist, her sweving between my legs is a nightmare. I always have to throw a bottle cap down the hallway just so she doesn't get in my room. 7: been on upsetting media tiktok. why the fuck is there a fandom forming around a vent cartoon about S/A???? like I won't say its bad but that's not a FANDOM THING! yall are fucked up (also it parodies the peewee's playhouse op and that bugs me. i love peewee.)

interlude: my needy hoe of a cat is named peewee (well to my mom, it's now Princess Pipsqueak but thats not a good name to say in frustration as I'm trying to exist down the hallway. also, we thought she was a boi at first and she has a face that looks like paul Reubens's. I still see it. 8: I have used up all the TP and tissues in the house and have been using paper towels to blow my nose, which is roughing up my already red sore nose. I put gold bond on my nose and it BURNED but now it feels smoother. 9: i feel like i annoy people with my Hannibal hyperfixation. i have yet to truly let it spread here but it's EVERYWHERE ELSE. I've littrally never loved anything more. and I've been into a LOT of stuff. i was called annoying by an ex friend because i got into things too much. and to them, "too much" was anything that wasn't "i like this thing. i think this thing is good and cool. lets rp weird incest about it." (i hate my teen years) but like. that ex friend would HAAAAATE by hyperfixatiing now. i have friends to ENABLE ME NOW. 10: just added this one. kinda put two and two together that corp vtubers birthdays most likely aren't their real birthdays. everyone is celebrating a graduated corps bday and yet they moved to another company and like. no birthday in sight. and it feels weird to latch onto their old persona's bday when they are right there with probs a new (and more real maybe) birthday. you can actually go celebrate with them whenever their "new" birthday is and yet you are clinging to the past. especially since they are THRIVING where they are rn and were not happy as a bigger corp.

We got a lot of fnaf content this year and I was obsessed with it. So obsessed, that I was to invested in consuming this content that I hardly ever posted about it.

I love this franchise so much. I've been invested in the lore, games, books, and YouTube videos since it came out. I love everything about this franchise.

4: One Piece

As a long time One Piece fan, I gotta say my burn out for this anime was coming. Then I heard about the Netflix adaptation and that they were crunching the entire East Blue Arcs into 8 episodes... I was scared.

Then I watched it and it reignited my fire for this. I even started rewatching the anime so I knew what was next to come. Not only that, but my sister got into the show cause of the live action and we're watching it together.

Not only that, but we also got to the end of the Wano Arc! One Piece's longest arc yet and I loved every second of it. They really turned up everything for this arc and I am here for it.

WE ALSO GOT THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE REMAKE ANIME BY WIT STUDIOS!! I am so hyped for this. To see the story be told with better pacing, less filler, and maybe they can make Skypia bearable to watch /j.

3: Fionna and Cake

I was so ready for this show. When I learned about it I was so confused. Like, yall are making a spin off about filler episodes??

I always loved Fionna and Cake so I wasn't upset but confused. Then I watched it and fell in love. Seeing all the characters and where they are now after the almost end of the world and then falling in love with the new characters.

Everything about this show was amazing to me and i cannot wait for season 2.

2: Heartstopper

Those who know me know that I am obsessed with Heartstopper and the Osemanverse as a whole. These characters are so amazing to me and I love all of them so much.

We got season 2 of Heartstopper out on Netflix and we also got the release of volume 5! Season 3 completed its filming and we got to see the actor playing Michael Holden! Heartstopper fans have been feasting this year.

Nick and Charlie are some of my favorite characters of all time and I cannot wait to see where this goes in the future.

Well hey there. It's uh, it's been a hot minute since I've been on here and posted here huh.

Well I'm alive, incase you haven't followed me on my other socials to keep up with me, I just deleted this app off my phone when they did the 18+ content ban stuffs.

Some small life updates for yall.

Went to my first ever Katsucon, 2022 and I got to meet a lot of my favorite content creators which I'll post about next. I am planning to go again in 2023.

Did some new cosplays. Such as Yuji Itadori, L, Light, Cherry, Butch and Ghostface.

Hyperfixated on Jujutsu Kaisen for the last year and a half. I am a helpless simp for Gojo.

Meet Neve Campbell while cosplaying as Butch from The Powerpuff Girls. That was awesome. That'll be in my next post.

Helped my dad through his cancer treatments and helping him with diabetic stuff. And a lot more personal stuff I don't wish to get into.

But life has been kinda crazy for me and I'm managing it somehow. We'll see how this goes. If I like being back here I'll stay, if not, I'll Thanos snap off here again. We will see.
