I think I asked earlier and I forgot the answer or maybe you hadn’t decided yet, but you recently mentioned the difference between spawned players and born players again. I think you mentioned spawned players are more common - are any of the people we know and love (hermits or otherwise) born rather than spawned? Or are they all spawned??

I’m fascinated by the concept of spawned vs born players actually, and the way you said they’d have to get a comm specially made and fitted. Is there a minimum age a player needs to be for this? Actually what’s the lifespan of a player like, and how old are born players and spawned players each when they reach a similar developmental stage? I presume it’s different because spawned players are in a single player world alone whereas I assume born players are babies and thus need caring for?? Or how does that work.

Either way, some of your questions have been answered in one of the very first posts i ever made about hunger au!!! Which means its probably VERY easy to miss since theres so much content in the tag now 💀 i really do need to post a link to my current masterlist for yall so it'll be easier to keep track of lore WODNKDNSKSK new project time YIPPEEEE <- loves organizing

As for the stuff that isnt included in that post, i'd say that yes, you do need to be of a certain age to get fitted with a comm-- im not quite sure what the requirement is, but its probably around when you first hit the double digits, maybe about 10ish?? Culturally it depends on the Player's parents/caretakers, but i think most born Players get their comms around ages 12-14.

Lifespan for Players is on the same level as arctic sponges here-- they live for a while before their code begins to destabilize of natural causes. Thousands of years at least. This is a pretty young universe relatively speaking, so several of the oldest Players who first spawned in are actually still around!!!

There are only two born Players on Hermitcraft, and those are Joe Hills and TFC. Mostly for vibes, and because the idea of the oldest looking hermit being technically younger than several of the others highly amuses me. Everyone else spawned in!! Since born Players are such a minority, it felt right to keep everyone else in the cast as spawned Players :]

i find it so funny that after the initial abduction, there’s a chance kylar can kidnap you again like some time after (though i’m unsure if there’s a fixed period where my guy goes on a kidnapping hiatus lmao) and you can just ask him to let you go right away after you get his jealousy high enough. and you still see him in town after and neither of you acknowledge it like,,,

HELLO !!!! so i DID managed to write a bit :DD i have been soo fixated on legend of zelda so i am writing about that !!!! the new game has been my life like ever since it came out soooo 😎 link angst!!

He tries to sign to Sidon that he’s alright and doesn’t need any care, but the movement to sit up is so overwhelming and painful. He gasps, hands reaching to the source of the pain on instinct. He thuds back against the glass-like structure behind him, and silently apologizes to whatever ancient figure he’s dishonoring right now. They probably didn’t expect to be immortalized only for the hero to bleed out in front of them. Sidon gasps too, and there’s immediately a blinding pressure on his leg that has him choking on air. He can’t breathe and, Hylia, it’s too much. His hands wrap around a wrist much bigger than his and he tries to pry Sidon off, to stop. He chokes out a word, through the tightness of his throat and inability to communicate with his hands. “Stop…!” It works, for a moment. The pressure releases almost instantly, and instead of the blinding sting, a dull ache takes its place. Link sighs in relief, muscles relaxing for the first time since his battle. His eyes slip open in his relief and he catches the sight of Sidon. His eyes are wide and mouth agape, staring at Link with… shock? Surprise? He can't tell, not when his whole head is in the clouds and his vision is blurring over. Sidon’s hands are posed in the air as if caught in a crime. They’re also covered in blood, and when Link’s gaze drifts downward, out of his own exhaustion, he sees his leg. There’s blood, and lots of it. Not to mention all the flesh and muscle clearly out of the place they should be. Oops. 

this is very unedited and also i’m still trying to nail down link’s voice so i’m not 100% happy with it, but i did write like 800 words so i’m proud about that :3 i have a wholeeee idea for a huge fic about the main story but focused and link’s mental health and the connections he makes with people, but i’m deciding if it’d be better as a whole fic or series with many fics :D anyways yippeeee i’m gonna eep soon so throws this at u and runs away
