In some of the rare times where I create something small and cool, I love sharing it with other people :)
For context, I've been working on a video game and started looking into some loading screens. I got carried away a bit, but I loved the capabilities and parameters I could experiment with here!
Since my game is set in a Mystery Solarpunk world, I was aiming for brighter and lighter color schemes :).
I was surprised with how beautiful all the parameter combinations can be!

So if you want to try it yourself, feel free to check out the following repo:
You will need to download Processing in order to run it. It's a nice open-source sketchbook language built on top of Java to draw some cool visuals :)).
If you end up creating something with it, please tag me so I can see your creations! B)
Also, if you happen to have a GitHub account, I would love it if you could star the repo as well (but no pressure on this!) :))

this is my current project: It is only half done, I will post the steps too.
it's based on a kloketen creationes video:

is using Himagurumi, a 50% cotton 50% acrylic yarn by Himalaya (Turkish company), and it was created with amigurumi in mind, but they are awesome for this too. I will try crocheting something from them too, and post that as well.
I just got my ordered stash last week, and I am experimenting with the colors.
Did I mention they have a great selection of colors?

After staring at a blank page for a while and trying out a few different sketches, it took being on a phone call to get something on the page. Once the call was over, I had the mandala completed and coloured, so sometimes, the way to get things done is to not think about it.
It worked for me this time, at least!
Time: 6 hours
Program: Clip Studio Paint

I have a couple of them ready, I completely forgot to document them (it would be useful for later)
I experimented with different yarns, this is a very nice stash buster.
Here is the 3 I created with an acrylic yarn (I still don't understand the yarn thickness thing. I have to always figure it out by needle size...)
this one is ~ for size 5 crochet needle.
All of these are based on the awesome videos by kloketen creationes
Check her channel out. The videos are in Spanish, but the English subs are workable, and she creates very good tutorials, they are easy to follow. (the only thing is to always check if you cut off enough yarn when you have to - I usually slow it down and count her rounds before doing it. this will make sense i promise)
This was based on:

It was fairly easy as these go. For this you need two sticks (I've found some bamboo ones somewhere in a shop. they are slightly too thick - which means sturdy, but very slightly modifies the tension, and sometimes even the pattern)
I am fairly satisfied with the results. :)
The last thing I am not certain about is calling these Ojo de Dios - eye of God, as far as I understand it is a custom in Mexico, Peru and other Central American cultures to commemorate the growing up of a child.
She uses the term though, and for now I will include it to give a little chance for people who are searching for patterns.
