A Bad Idea

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" 

Lena's eyes narrow with skepticism as she peers over Andrea's shoulder at the ancient, yellowed page in the old book.

The text is written in a script that looks more like chicken scratches to her untrained eye and her stomach roils with discomfort. Something just  feels strangely  off about the whole thing and, honestly, she’d rather have gone to the L-Corp Halloween party with all of her annoying interns instead of going ahead with this.

“Of course!” Andrea grins, her excitement barely contained. “It’s just a little fun and it’s not like it’s real, right? It’s just a little pretend hocus pocus.”

Kara, who had been flipping through a different book from the pile on the table, looks up.

“These are real rituals,” she shakes her head, “people didn’t believe in this stuff for centuries for no reason. I mean, what do we do if something actually happens?”

“Nothing’s gonna happen,” Andrea dismissively waves her hand, “it’s just for fun, babe. Come on, live a little, huh?” She looks up and offers an angelic smile, “besides, I really wanna try this.” She bats her eyelashes at Kara, causing her to violently roll her eyes, but smile nonetheless. Andrea pouts, glancing between both of her girlfriends, “come on, pleeeeeease. It’s Halloween, let’s enjoy it!”

Lena and Kara both sigh, Lena crossing her arms as she shoots Kara a questioning raise of her brow. Kara merely shrugs, accepting that Andrea’s gonna get her own way—just like always.

“Fine,” Kara groans, “but, if anything goes wrong, I’m blaming you.”

"Perfect!” Andrea grins, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “Okay,” she claps her hands together, “so, we need some candles, salt, and a few other things. Oh, and don't forget the mirror, Kara. The one from the living room will be fine.”

Kara and Lena exchange wary glances, but follow Andrea's lead as she gathers the necessary items from around their shared apartment. They set them up in the center of the floor, arranging them according to the instructions on the parchment, both making a solid effort to ignore Andrea’s impatient tone if only to avoid an argument during their so-called “fun” Halloween evening.

Lena shakes her head and secretly rolls her eyes, though, once she’s alone in the kitchen.

They really need to start saying no to Andrea more often.

“Salt, Lena!” Andrea calls from the bedroom, “vamos! We don’t have all night!”

Idk I keep seeing complaints about acting in the truck scene but I think it does a pretty good job conveying "I'm so tired of alleged "friend" acting like a child and needing everything to be about him and what he wants all the time and I can't wait to just get away from him" so....

Tikki was perched on her cat pillow now, looking ready to collapse. Still, Marinette saw her kwami smile supportively. Marinette’s life had gone far from “too complicated”. It was Hell. And Hell was not for living people.

Ladybug was someone she herself had looked up to. How she wished she could be confident, self-assured, playful, funny, brave in real life. Perfection didn’t matter to Ladybug, despite what some people might say. She had flaws, she knew them, and she worked to fix them. Something Marinette couldn’t do. Ladybug had Tikki, Wayzz, the other kwami, she had Chat Noir. And so…

“Tikki?”, Ladybug nudged her kwami. The little goddess looked at her, tired, but paid attention all the same. “I have a very bad idea.”

diluc was a character i wasnt privy too at first he felt like a boring 'grumpy' character to me but after doing the story quest, revealing he is basically batman and after reading his character stories i learned more and more about him and oh fucking shit i R e l a t e too much stop that, stop being me so im a diluc main and kin now as well as memories for some reason ( i know the reason orz) aaannnd when i did the liyue archon quest for the first time, fawning over zhongli a little bc voice h o t, dr baizhu made his entrance

baizhu weraring a snake around his neck and the best eyeliner known to man as well as the Fruitest Voice in the game to date STILL !! i legit fell in love with a fictional character, the pixels on my screen i know i have the illness ( autism) Bad.,,, but anyways at this point i was like oh wow that guy could Do things to me and id thank him, that guy could breathe in my presence and id thank him im Oh So Gay for this Guy i love him he is my favorite now forever and mwah mwah the more i knew about him the deeper i fell

sooooo bc of this i thought huh,,, both baizhu and diluc are busy in their respective nations what if they wrote letters to each other and then what if feelings developed like that and baizhu started getting flirtier and flirtier and diluc Likes it (fuckint rare for him hes never fallen this badly for someone) but anyways baizhu sends flowers (violetgrass specifically) to diluc and diluc Collects each one he recives from the letters, diluc has a stash of lil dried up violetgrass in his bedside table drawer. he keeps his letters short and to the point whilst baizhu always has his frivolous and flowerly language but his message is still crystal clear even if diluc is focused on the gay or not ( not much can be said for baizhus handwriting it is,, a Mess but still readable to diluc! considering dilucs handwriting used to be dogshit too its fine ejdjend)

baizhu Hates being vulnerable as he is a literal doctor so the more he smiles for Others the more thag makes him happy hes done something good for them, now this slightlt fades with those he Really Really trusts, like diluc!! baizhus fine being vulnerable in front of diluc bc diluc (as much as he also hates it) is a lot more vulnerable in front of baizhu they Really trust each other and that is saying a lot considering dilucs views on trust and how many trust issues he Has its hard for him to let go of those issues for baizhu but he does! he learnt how for him aaaand im rambling abt headcanons again whoopsies

A horrible souls like game idea

what if we made a souls like game really hard like the rest of souls like games but when you die you have to start over on a new save file and you can't use that character again that exact character is locked away it has to be a different change the hair the skin tone maybe like make the eyes a little farther apart but it has to be different and not the same but the thing is when you die the game keeps track and in the next play through exactly where you did there is a grave and you can pick up a item called warriors memory which increases all stats by 2 so everytime you die the game gets a bit easier and of course if you beat it first attempt you get the achievement "naturally skilled" if you die at all you have to delete your save data like completely wipe any save data all achievements will be gone and stuff but you can attempt 'naturally skilled" achievement again also "naturally skilled" is not required for platinum since it's so unfair

do you know how many people are mad that authors use "growled" as a word for "said"? it's just poetics! they do not literally mean "growled," it's just a common replacement for "said with force but in a low tone." it's normal! do you hear me!! help me i love you please let me out of here!!!
