The title refers to Mathew Chapter 17 verses 24 - 27, where Peter raised with Jesus the idea of obeying the law of the day and paying the temple tax, money raised by the Roman state in both Roman and Jewish coinage, Jesus did not say 'Sling your hook' to Peter in reply, but instead said 'Peter, go and fish and look in the mouth of the first fish you find.'. Peter did this and in that first fish was the coin to pay the tax.

Angeltober 2023 Day 19 - Basilisk

Knowing a basilisk usually is the combination of a chicken aka rooster with a lizard of some sorts, i wanted to deviate slightly from that and instead choose a bearded vulture as the bird part, and the lizard part making it more dragon-like in this case instead of just attaching the lizardtale adn do leathery wings since i wanted to keep the feathery wings here :) I love how it turned out, although i didn't have such a stunning idea for the background, just tryign to make it appear as if it is in a forest with broken statues at its victim :p -dairiem

Okay, I think I figured out why Crowley’s biblical beard is so weird:

It’s cause it’s only on his chin. This demon has not attempted sideburns, a connecting mustache, or anything to make it look more natural.

Maybe that’s his plot, though. If his beard is so odd, it bugs people, and then they’re more likely to get irritated, which we all know is Crowley’s whole schtick.

I was slightly concerned they wouldn't have interesting outfits because of the behind the scenes video but this gives me so much hope.
