An embroidery piece of the luggage from the Discworld series, ivory teeth, lolling red tongue and almost two dozen legs included. I somehow also managed to make it seem like it's grinning. Took me two months with two-thread embroidery. 😂

She likes it too much

She stayed up all night finishing the embroidery of her gown and then spent the entire ball talking about the techniques she used and how long it took her

She slapped the visiting Prince's hand when he touched her shoulder because "that took me hours and I don't know where your hands have been!"

One of her maids introduced her to weaving and now she's skipping her lessons on statecraft to dye her own wool

She asked for a flock of sheep of her own for her birthday

Her quarters look like a textile goods shop

She hired a new maid to teach her lacemaking

She is the happiest she's ever been and her parents just want to her pay attention in her diplomacy lessons

(she is but she's always doing some kind of fibre craft at the same time and it annoys her tutor)

Also we can do with more fiber arts princesses. I just want more respect for fiber arts in general

Alright!!!!!!!!!! Finished my biggest filet lace piece yet :) a big mess on the technical level because I realized at the very very end what it was that was giving me so much trouble (was failing to account for one of the threads when working around the holes (which were giving me so much trouble on the bigger part that I DID indeed just give up on but we will get em next time)) but let’s ignore that because I DID IT LOOK YALL. Thumbs up picture partially for scale but also because I DID IT

okay okay i have finally gotten a free moment, everyone behold my son whom i love very much

he's based on the adorable loaf design by @papasugu, my friend brought them to my attention and i went "hey i could make that" and that was the beginning of the end for me

he's a bit rough around the edges, but considering all the new skills i was learning while making him i'm very happy with how he turned out! hopefully when i make my friend's loaf it'll go more smoothly lol
