When did US politics become Old Man Yaoi?

Imagine, you're running for president, with an evil plan behind you for if you win. You're full of yourself and overconfident. Your opponent is fighting for the comment good and this is the second time you're facing him, and this time you'll win!

Then you guys have an early debate. And he loses, bad. His insults don't seem the same, they aren't as sharp as they used to be. You, of course, take advantage of it because you want to win.

But then he drops out. And you left with someone with much sharper arguments. Someone who you have no idea how to fight, the younger apprentice of your opponent's side... And you realize he was holding back. With no idea how to fight this new threat, you start to miss your old opponent, and realize how much they meant to you.

Last Dizzy post but I think the reason Ky and Dizzy work so well together from Dizzy's side is that Ky is someone who relentlessly wants Dizzy to have what she wants. From the first time they meet, Ky has an understanding that Dizzy is incredibly unhappy.

The reason for her unhappiness is that Dizzy doesn't like being alone. She's not like Testament or Sol, who do well in isolation. She doesn't enjoy living in the Grove.

She doesn't like being hunted by the world either, which is why she's stuck in the Grove. That's why, later on, she probably doesn't enjoy that element of being part of the Jellyfish Pirates. I think she loves them like her family, but there's something to be said about being a wanted criminal.

I think it comes down to how most people have a tendency to take her away to protect her from Humanity. Ky seems to do the opposite. Maybe it's because she beat him up, but it seems like Ky is pretty confident that Dizzy is safe living with him.

In general, I think Dizzy wants to be around people. I think (from Dizzy's POV) that Ky kind of represents a life filled with people. Ky seems to know everyone somehow. He's surprisingly social.
