Parent's Day
Ghosts didn't have a father's or mother's day as such, but they did have a day where they combined both. A day to celebrate your guardians. Humans, Yetis, Amazons or Gods, it was a quiet day to thank them for your ghost adoption.
Dan and Ellie had spent a few years under the halfa's care but at the end of the day they considered him their guardian (although Dan did it reluctantly), so when they heard about Parent's Day they panicked.
They wanted to show Danny that they really appreciated him but a mug or coupons were not enough. In the end after some brainstorming they decided to give him the closest thing to a mug that was in the Realms: Constantine's complete soul.
John Contantine was a very annoying human, they knew this because they heard Danny complain about his paperwork many times. Apparently their father had 99% of his soul but couldn't do anything until he had 100%, and what better gift than to help him get rid of the paperwork? He hated paperwork! It was perfect!
With some help from Clockwork they traveled to DC's dimension, determined to take the last of the hellblazer's soul. Dan wondered if he should steal a star from the dimension while they were there (Danny liked space didn't he?), as an extra gift.
John Constantine was in the middle of explaining the holes in reality to the Justice League when a shiver ran through his body. He had an instant bad feeling.
#dpxdc#Parent's Day#ghosts are not distinguished by gender and half of them are not human so they have a day to celebrate their guardians in general#ghosts like to adopt younger ghosts to guide them#they usually don't have children of their own#The idea of Dan and Ellie sounds weird but you have to remember that they are children#Regardless of their outward appearance#they are both young#and they only want to take away from Danny what bothers him as a gift#I like to think that Dan was “born” by combining both cores#he's not Danny but he retained most of his negative emotions and memories#dp x dc#dc x dp#Constantine will have a long day#but he asked for it after selling his soul 50 times#Dan and Ellie googled “best gift” but only mugs coupons and flowers came up#Dan doesn't know if it's possible to steal stars but he will make it possible#ghost king danny

can you really talk about tim's tendency to idolize and place dick on a pedestal and his semi-entitlement to understanding dick without also talking about dick's tendency to project his own feelings and insecurities onto tim and also his semi-entitlement to his right to try and micromanage how tim should feel and react about things. i, personally, cannot.
#dick and tim#anyways trust me when i say that none of this is meant in a negative way because this is what i Like about them lmao#forever thinking of the M/F fight where dick expects that tim will go alone with his line of thinking just because he says so#and is shocked when tim doesn't and instead has his own thoughts and feelings abt the matter#and babs has to tell him that tim isn't him & had a fundamentally different experience to him#it's like hmmm very realistic to me#the way they do this to each other in a way that almost is depersonalizing but like isn't actually#it's more just that they understand each other so well most of the time that it's easy to forget that they're their own person#with their own thoughts and feelings#like hm. there is something very realistically siblings about it in that#older siblings do tend to try and dominate the relationship with their thoughts and feelings because#their first memories are of being expected to lead their sibling and the sibling usually comes at a time when the older sib is v possessive#so the older sibling conceives the younger sibling as belonging to them and being kind of a hm extension of them vs their own person#meanwhile the younger sibling has no knowledge of a life where the older sibling doesn't exist#and the younger sibling's experience is that of observation of the older sibling from basically the very first day of life#so the younger sibling will often see and perceive the older sibling in very interesting ways#they're always learning something with thay observation good or bad#and thus probably develop more instrinsic understanding than even the parents do#and conflict comes because each is their own person but it's hard to see them that way sometimes#anyways there's also another thread where for dick it's hard to conceptualize tim's family of origin as real compared to them#but that's like mainly headcanon just know i'm right and it's interesting

#sundrop#moondrop#mermaid au#also don’t mind the character in one of them#hiding the plot in the tags so no one reads it#met initially when they were younger#were good friends but one day sun got too dry and became human#moon freaked out and thought the human may be the cause#went to eclipse for advice and eclipse was all “oh ye it’s defo the human that caused this#also if u continue hanging out with them more bad stuff is gonna happen to u guys trust me#eclipse just has his own baggage regarding humans#but basically that scares moon so much he decides it would be better to no longer be friends with the human#makes a kinda stupid decision to wipe the#memories of both sun and the human#he was just a kid tho so ya gotta give him a break#now tho moon is super isolated and feels bad awww#he also figures out he also gained the ability to turn human as well#while having a crisis and not knowing what to do he runs into Monty#who is just a human in this universe#and like idk they actually get along really well and Monty is a good distraction for moon and also has a good straightforward mindset#all the while Monty doesn’t know that moon is not human#moon considers telling him but chickens out#eventually Monty has to move away due to his parents getting a new job#years later both the human they befriended and Monty return to the fishing town now adults#Bright now has a fear of the ocean due to the memory wipe and decided to move back by recommendation by their therapist#exposure therapy#Monty gets caught up in a group of people who want to kill the sea monsters that have been destroying fishing boats and eating people#bright notices new developments in the town like a hotel and oil rig. also the ocean seems a lot dirtier than it used to be…#anyway I’ve reached tag limit I’ll write the rest prob never but I’ll say later to try and motivate myself#Luca au

SUNNY tells BASIL things too. BASIL doesn't just dump all of his problems on SUNNY. They talk to each other.
#In fact#we might know when SUNNY told him this.#Around Faraway town you can find little flashbacks and memories in the form of younger versions of the characters that disappear when you#touch them.#You can find AUBREY and KEL in HOBBEEZ wearing the same outfits they were in the rain memory - just like the photo album says. They went tO#HOBBEEZ but KEL had to take off his raincoat because he was getting all their comics wet.#But when you see the hallucination#only KEL and AUBREY are there.#And if you go to the secret hangout spot by the lake#you can find SUNNY and BASIL sitting on the dock in their own rain outfits.#There was a post about this#though I'm not sure where to find it#Anyway theh pointed out that this seems to indicate that after they went to HOBBEEZ#BASIL and SUNNY split off from the others and snuck to the lake.#It would make sense if this was where SUNNY told BASIL what happened.#MARI wouldn't allow SUNNY to go back to the lake spot after he almost drowned of course#but MARI wasn't there on this day#That's all#omori#basil omori#sunny omori#omori spoilers

#ask#sapphicdroid#i did look it up to fact check myself after i reblogged the post and saw the adapters#honestly when i was younger i never knew it didnt have a headphone jack#granted the only time i ever saw one in person was on the school bus with a friend#he played pokemon blue on it and i dont remember the details of all that went on during#i mightve also seen another kid on the bus play pokemon emerald. i dont remember.#however that was my first exposure to gen 3 pokemon. as a kid i only knew about Red Blue Yellow and Crystal#my brothers had Red and Blue. and so thusly i have both games now. i... dont know where my copy of Red is though.#i have a copy of Yellow from Ebay but it loses its memory sometimes. which i think is why it was put on Ebay in the first place#Crystal however? well first i knew of gen 2 through pokemon stadium 2#we had both pokemon stadiums for the n64. or. well. still do have them.#speaking of. sure does suck to go through the gym leaders and elite 4 in those games. mostly due to how long rounds are.#emulated it a while back and i had to use the fast forward feature a lot#anyway. Crystal. somehow i got my copy from a random coat in a clothing store. just. in the pocket.#i dont know how i managed to find it. it was either in a coat my mom was looking at or i was looking through pockets... probably the former#anyway within like a week. a kid in 3rd grade stole it from me#i... think i got to the elite 4? i remember getting to the last dude with the charizard. forgive me for forgetting his name.#but like right after i had it stolen. i got on the bus and vented to my friend and he was like ''oh i have two copies of crystal''#and then gave his second copy to me. i forget if it was on the day of or if it was the next day.#anyway that same day it got stolen again. by the same kid. that kid stole so much shit from me#he switched schools the next year so i couldnt do anything about it#i have uhhh... soul silver now. so its not that big of a deal these days#anyway thank you for the ask :) i appreciate you telling me anyway
