I have been pretty silent up until now. I am more a behind the scenes kind of person.

Thank you for all the kind messages we received so far. We appreciate each and every one of them.

And it's totally ok if you want to stay anonymous. We've seen what happens when you show a glimpse of support for John or just hint at not being against him: hate in your inbox (so sorry, Vicky, that you had to experience that). And yet, we (John, Mycroft and I) are painted as the bullies.

The split has been a long time coming. John was truly unhappy with how things were going in the role play. From what I heard, communicating with consult-sherlockholmes (about it) was difficult at best. I experienced the same issue first hand. People who follow the role play know that Sherlock and I never got along. I tried, really tried to get behind it and improve the situation. But every attempt to communicate with him was simply ignored or he tried to humiliate me (which is something I couldn't care less about 😆). I believe that John was mostly ignored, unless Sherlock wanted something from him.

Things went from bad to worse, clearly seen in the interaction between the rp blogs. John was considering quitting the rp altogether. And here I actively encouraged John to do that or to find another way to continue on his own. Because I know how much he likes this blog and the interaction with his followers. So if someone was wondering if I played a role in the break-up: yes, I did. ✌🏻 Am I handling more than one account at the moment? (you know what I mean): No. I have a hard time handling Harry and my main. (I used to play Mrs. Turner @mrs-turners-blog , but that account is pretty much inactive. It could become more active again in the future, who knows.)

Was the break-up handled unprofessionally? (Something only John was accused off many times.) Yes, it was. On both sides. If your partner of 2+ years wants to leave, you support their exit in every way. You don't use everything you have to make them stay, or try to paint them black before they exit and after. You don't tell others they are not to be trusted or to be believed. The break-up was handled with way too much emotion involved. Because they both care a lot about the characters they play. I am the same with Harry.

And then everything got blown out of proportion, like hello? It's only a role play. On tumblr. We do this for fun! I fear some people don't know what fun is (if that is you, please consider getting professional help!). People are taking themselves way too seriously. Throwing around big words like harassment and bullying and victim and perpetrator and scandal (that's my number 1 favourite, actually) like hand grenades.

We should have just ignored all that. That's where we - as a collective - went wrong. Because no matter what we do, people (you know who you are) will find a way to twist it so that we are the bullies, so that we are trying to silence others, which is so ridiculous, I don't even know what to say. In fact, they are the ones who are silencing those that bring a different perspective to the table. That's not objective reporting. That's taking a premeditated side.

But it's also totally valid for John to defend himself against all the ridiculous accusations, not letting himself get silenced. Because the person behind John is nothing like that: he isn't a bully, he isn't an abuser, he doesn't silence others. Because of this and because of my own experiences with Sherlock (on this account and my main), I stand 100% behind John. So, please: if you think you want to send some anon hate (cowards!) to John, send some to me as well. @therealharrywatson If it wasn't for me, John would have either quit the rp or he would still be stuck with an incompatible rp partner. I am as much to "blame" as he is.

I am really glad for John that he continued and even found another Sherlock. I hope they continue the role play in a fun way - like it's supposed to be. And I will try to chime in every now and then as the annoying big sister who is looking to turn her life around.

PS: This is not about forcing you to pick a side. If you want to continue to follow and interact with consult-sherlockholmes, that is totally fine. He played/ plays a pretty convincing Sherlock and deserves to continue on his own. Just not with consultjohnwatson. I -and John as well- do have a problem with the people who went after John and made him the bad guy in this. So, if you were blocked by one of us, it was probably because you openly supported those people. Not because we want to silence anyone (how does that even work?), but because we don't want the negativity and drama. Like I said before: we are role playing for fun.

these are our conversations. as we can see we didnt really speak, before or whatever? he just came to interact, and show me screenshots. this is whayy i mean when john is the one still talking about it.

we talked before like once or twice. similar story to what greg told, i asked to be janine and asked if they had a discord or something, to be met with "i dont know what mod/discord is." and then he sent me a post showing who was in the roleplay, so i took it as permission to join

i never messaged them again except when i attempted to help John when he was upset and not understanding sherlocks stance on not telling children to run away with strangers lol and he said i was too young to understand or something (30s is a baby appntly)

i eventually stopped posting because i didnt - feel connected at all to these peoplle. they didnt wanna talk so i was like lol bye. much like greg i wasnt upset i just, moved on. they'll proabbly call me a cry baby because i wanted communicatiom and they dont. 🥺

but yeah johns always, like, projected his feelings onto the character, his own perosnal opinioms, like running away with strangers to leave abusive parents. lol. i did that once it wasnt a stranger though we became close and dated for over a year before i left with them. i tried to tell john that every situation is unique, and he eventually softly agreed and never replied to another one of my messages again

until this, where he wants to get my attention to send me screenshots.

Cheating to me is one of the worst things a person can do in any type of relationship. Everytime a rumour circulates it just gets me on edge..on one side people who spread false information and say "yeah I slept with..." etc and then the other side when people are caught out and have to confess because the evidence is RIGHT.THERE. then those who dig through years of stuff to find anything that could possibly link to infidelity.

Personally I don't believe anything I've read on this hellsite. However it still gives me this bad taste in my mouth when I see people joking about cheating scandles and potential stuff...there's a difference between fanfiction and the actual humans that we follow in sport/TV etc.

i’m very much aware about how serious cheating is, i’ve seen my best friends relationship’s been ruined by both men and women cheating, its even happened w my own parents but i won’t delve into that bc i don’t like talking ab my personal life like that at all n me joking about it is literally me coping w such a serious topic because i use humour as my coping mechanism.

obviously it’s tumblr everything is meant to be taken w a grain of salt n i don’t really want to talk too much about this bc seb is extremely private about his personal life for a reason but icl yeh the way he spoke ab hanna in beyond the grid n during his autosport awards makes me think that is all baseless rumours bc u don’t talk ab someone w that much love and admiration especially when u have been so tight lipped about ur relationship like that only to go n cheat on them

typically i don’t like to bring things to the internet but at a point like this i feel like i should be warning people about him, because ew 

for back story, ‘shawn mendes’ is andy. he is my ex i have borderline personality disorder and our relationship has always been back and forth. i’ve been moderating myself on that ever since i knew how to categorize myself and take care of myself. i made andy aware, he was understanding. things were going well since i was taking care of myself and my mood swings were gradually becoming less and less intense, but for some reason that’s when he got really abusive towards me

i am not afraid to admit that i have been manipulative towards him in the past. i was very afraid of losing him and would use every tactic i could. i discovered talking it out is very therapeutic and we were getting used to that - the moment we were getting used to that and going somewhere is the moment that he turned me into his victim instead, it feels almost as if he wanted to take that chance as a sort of revenge, but he took it way too far i am on medication for my bpd (antipsychotics) and he was the reason why, so i could better myself. at a certain point i began venting to him regarding my past life as timekeeper and he basically called me weird for it and said my memories are not real. i was breaking down because i thought i could really trust him with that information. when i agreed that i wouldn’t talk about it or regress into my keeper personality For Him, he instead decided that we should break it off and just cut me off without much of a chance to talk it out

in response i broke down and overdosed. i ended up in the hospital and marina was busy keeping my friends updated. it didn’t take long for me to be out of hospitalization since i believe i’m on a lower dosage? but i’m pretty sure i would have definitely been on the verge of death. marina made andy aware that i was on the verge of death and all he said was “i’m sorry” i don’t have many snapshots because all of the servers that we used to talk in are now deleted. we couldn’t talk in dms because he has strict parents and they look through his phone every now and again, so i couldn’t be on his friends list. these snapshots were given to me by @marinaballll, who was my biggest support during this entire debacle and contacted andy regarding my overdose

i do not care to censor his username. his tumblr is @73styles​ some other names he goes by are grimes, andy, andrew. his roblox is tinglystrains. his tik tok is @looking4grimes. etc etc. i really don’t care. he’s an admin in the roblox laughability server. i’ll probably update his tag every now and again since he tends to run away from situations like this, but for any of his friends that may stumble across this post hope you know who he is

recently, other scandles of ours have been him denying that i express myself the way i want to - threatening to break up with me and cut me off dare i conform female. i’ve given him the option to maybe just be friends so i can be myself since i understand he’s mlm and dating someone conforming female would be awkward for him but he Insisted that if i conformed female he could not talk to me or something

he seemed to just start hating every little thing i did after i came Running back to him after he was the reason i ended up in the hospital. i would show him something i was interested in and he would get snarky about it. one problem we had was that my friends were interested in me and it created a conflict in our relationship, so i set strict boundaries with my friends and he still showed no appreciation towards it. and after i tell him that it’s okay that he Landed me in the hospital like the blind fool i was he turns around and dumps me for some petty shit like me having an interest in manifestation. 

don’t get me wrong, i haven’t felt more free ever since we broke up but the manipulation he put me through will never leave me. the amount of friends he’s made me block (that i’ve recently unblocked), the amount of interest he’s made me repress (that i have decided to express), the way he made me Conform To A Gender I Did Not Identify With? 

i do not condone people wanting to go attack him but after he also manipulated me into deleting the last post that i made calling him out and then turned around and pulled some More stupid shit i REALLY feel like keeping this up even if we do somehow manage to start talking again and i will be updating his discord username (and roblox username, matter of fact) until he gets a new account.

So with the whole Ned Cheater scandle there's been big talk about the parasocial relationships viewers form with YouTubers. Fair enough. But I also think there is a conversation to be had about how the Try Guys whole enterprise is structured. It started with 4 friends and expanded to include their partners and other collages who have probably worked with them since their Buzzfeed days, all having public personas and sharing lots of personal stuff online for content. Creating a workplace environment where there is very little space between the work and their personal lives. They are the nightmare that is a workplace where "we are all friends here so it's ok". That's why it's so hard to take seriously the "internal review" because who was doing it? You are all friends? I hope they outsourced it. In hindsight honestly, I'm not surprised something like this happened and that the knock-on effect to the whole company was this severe.

Please dear followers… First, of course, thank you for your kind, supporting messages. I will reply to all of you via this post. I’m now a bit more cautious.

I get that you are upset/angry on my behalf (which is a relief and reassures me, if I’m being honest). But the best course of action is to ignore and don’t give them attention.

I made the mistake to defend myself and my friends (which they used against me, because now I’m the abuser…), and to talk to them privately (which they did not want and also used against me).

Indeed, I don’t regret sharing a particular private post because it shows you just exactly what kind of people they are. Stay away from that hate.

Maybe I will come back to all allegations at a later point. Maybe. But for whom? You made it clear to me that people can actually see what went on. So, like I said: The truth will prevail.

For now, please take it easy. Don’t waste your time on this. Focus on the positive and let’s keep Tumblr a happy and safe place to be part of.

I will reopen anonymous asks. Please keep it clean.

Hahaha. I know. I reported them (the bewitched-bullet & Co gang, which included our bully myeyesblurry/jamesyourplaything/criminalisticonsultant) multiple times and even emailed with Tumblr several times. Their actions of showing my blog posts and chats on their account (to other blocked users), even though I blocked all of them, including the hate and defamation they were and are still spreading, were bordering on harassment but not enough to warrant an official ban. I still question Tumblr’s decision and emailed them back, still no response @staff.

So, what I am doing, talking to people who are talking to / about me (without daring to tag me), is definitely NOT a form of harassment. These people... please. Can we just boycott them all?
