I mean in an actual opera of Good Omens I'd definitely make Aziraphale a countertenor
...although if he were just a regular tenor you could cast Michael Spyres in the part he was born to play and just throw in some crazy-ass high notes for funsies and because you have Michael Spyres to sing them. Hmmmm. Now I am extremely torn about this opera that does not exist and that my always-dubious-even-when-I-wrote-music-regularly composition skills are not up to anyway.

gonna be honest, while she is a wonderfully played character, i do not like karna as a person at all lol. usually i love morally grey characters but i think im too attached to amangeaux to appreciate karna's character. like the scene where amangeaux had to beg karna on her knees just to be able to flee for her life with her child made my skin crawl and was probably the final nail in the coffin for me
and that on top of karna without remorse offering up amangeaux's child's life, which she didn't even have conformation was the heir to vegetania, and then her speech of getting 'drops of recognition' from amangeaux for 'her own protection and happiness' i had no sympathy for her after everything she did. it felt like she was getting mad at a woman she was trying to take advantage of who decided to prioritize herself and her year old child, who karna just agreed to kill
like yes, theres the political standing difference between them, but by that time amangeaux had no political safety and was discarded by her allies, and only a few hours ago in the game's universe was it proven by their own actions how even with supposed political advantage means nothing anything anyway and just
her careless 'im damned to rot so i have no care what suffering i put people through to get to my goal' just rubs me the wrong way along with everything else
this is no hate towards aabria, she's playing the character wonderfully and every move she makes makes sense for the character she has made, it's just karna makes me so inherently uncomfortable

okay i might be wrong about this but i'm pretty sure that both "fallen angel" (which is the track that plays during crowley and aziraphale's conversation on the cliff at the end of the job minisode), and "don't bother" (which plays right after the kiss all the way through aziraphale's conversation with the metatron in the bookshop) incorporate bits and variations of a same theme. it's discreet enough that it won't jump out at you, and easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for, but there are several musical phrases in both tracks that sound really similar.
and like. the symbolism of variations on a same theme playing during the scene that's the start of "their side" and the scene that puts an end to it... david arnold you absolute monster i'm gonna chew glass

spontaneous ask time! what's your favourite forest area in the loz games?
Hmm… the Sacred Grove in Twilight Princess I’d say. That, or the starting area in Majora’s Mask.

For the WIP game, can I ask about we're just bros raising bros 👀
hiya thank you for the ask 😂
that's the AU that i was/am writing with @sassydefendorflower, where we have clark and bruce (platonic) raising their gaggle of kids in an AU where clark is sometimes superman, but bruce gave up being batman. each chapter is sort of standalone/slice of life, so we're taking a chapter each and aurora is absolutely pulling more weight here 😭 aurora's got two chapters up that you can read!!
i thiiiiink i have a snippet? this is creatively titled 'sick chapter'
It had begun, Bruce suspected, the night that Tim had opted to not eat desert after a mouthful of jelly, and his bowl had promptly been snatched up by both Cass and Jason. He’d thought nothing of it at the time – the rules at the dinner table, at this point, were ‘no bloodshed’.
Now, as he strode from the [kid’s wing] to the kitchen, Damian strapped to his back in one of those child carriers, he vowed to himself that after this experience, they would all either finish their food or feed it to the dog. The dog they didn’t have. Maybe birds would eat jelly.
Clearly, Bruce was also under some sort of illness, if this was how his brain was stumbling around.
Damian was happily pulling on strands of Bruce’s increasingly greying hair when Bruce rounded the corner, almost bowling over Clark.
“What happened?” was the first thing out of Bruce’s mouth.
Clark barely paused, rummaging through the cabinet behind Bruce. “Steph and Duke started throwing up again, Tim’s meds wore off and now his temperature’s rising, and Cass decided to take a shower even though she promised me she wouldn’t after I told her not to.” Bruce took in a breath. At least Damian was still fine.

I just realized deuce g3 is what mcu flash could have become if he'd gotten a proper arc(or one at all) and some character development, and was really commited to being nice and a great guy

once you get past the EXTREMELY questionable age gap of just turned 18 mid show x mid 20s i think my coach is actually a pretty decent show. jon's arc (starting to hate something you used to love because you've been competing since young and pursuing your actual passion despite setbacks) is GOOD and some of the conflicts are settled a bit... idealistically but hey i dont mind!
