AAAND I'M BACK FOR TREEBARK WEEK DAY 2!! it's definitely not 1:30 in the morning as i finally go to post this. when i saw the prompts i immediately thought of martyn's bad omen bit for "salty" then i figured i could draw whatever ren was up to for the sweet part! and he was up to mining and collecting chickens.

this isn't really polished or anything but i'm just going to post whatever i can get done by day's end for the week i think :) :)

Tbh you lament what people say about you and bemoan "harrassment and bullying". Yet you told RLM to "eat a bag of dicks" unprompted. You said Oneyplays "Are assholes, fuck them!". You'll constantly lecture your own fans, angrily yelling at them for asking when new Power Rangers are out, or for giving you simple, solid advice like below. You say youve calmed down in reviews yet still yell at the comic creators over minor stuff. The comments you complain about getting seem tame in comparison.

Okay, first of all I did not tell RLM to "eat a big of dicks" unprompted. What I said was "Eat a dick, jackass" while talking about the Plinkett Reviews in regards to how parts of them have not aged well, in particular the line that I felt was a bit racist - "Black people don't like Star Wars" (to be clear - I don't think anyone at RLM is racist [AFAIK]. The remark itself feels like it is, though, but that's also emblematic of edgier, wince-inducing internet humor from the time - we're all guilty of awful jokes like this to some degree, myself included). Now I ended up removing this line from the Star Wars Prequel reviews compilation because I realized it was needlessly inflammatory towards them and some perceived it as me attempting to star a beef with them… when of course I don't want to start a beef with ANYONE, much less someone much, MUCH more popular than me.

And no, I did not say Oneyplays "Are assholes, fuck them" (unless I said this on Twitter a long while ago). I'm assuming this is in reference to a part of the Fallout: New Vegas streams. Someone in the superchats asked a question relating to them and my other guests didn't know who they are. I proceeded to spend all of 40 seconds calmly explaining (though admittedly with a bit of light irritation) "They're other streamers, one of whom apparently does a GREAT impression of me. They're also responsible for popularizing calling me Lightbringer, soooo… screw 'em." That was it. But apparently "screw 'em" was TOO MUCH for a lot of people, because I got flooded with hate from that - videos made about how I was "TRIGGERED!" and "HAD A MELTDOWN!" Because that was one of the first public times I ever talked about how I wasn't okay with the nickname. We'll circle back around to this in a minute.

You're just repeating the same garbage from people who ALSO don't watch my stuff, but assume I have not changed at all, that I am the same person forever whose opinions don't change, whose attitude doesn't change, never gets better, etc.

Because I haven't been angry at people asking when the next History of Power Rangers is out in ALMOST TEN YEARS.

And the reason I know that number in particular is because I started my Patreon in 2014. The question annoyed me so much because I didn't have an answer for them and it seemed like they didn't care about anything else I did. But then I started my Patreon and one of the Milestone goals was actual release dates for HOPR. And thus since then I've been able to answer when new ones are coming out.

You want to know how NOT angry I am about the question I am now? I put it on t-shirts.

But this is a thing that's brought up by people who hate me - my irritation at the question as if it was still something that bothered me because, again, they cannot conceive that maybe I've changed. No, I am cringe forever and there is nothing I can say or do that will satisfy them.

But no, I "lecture people constantly" evidently. People say I'm obsessed about this topic, about the bullying, that I just talk about it soooo much and I can't move on from it and it haunts my every waking moment and that such "simple, solid advice" like "Be okay with being bullied" is met with unreasonable hostility and my mind fixated on it constantly.

Unless of course you actually look at what I post, what I reblog, what I tweet about and then you discover "Oh, he actually only talks about it when people bring it up to him. He only made that thread because he said the harassment is starting to rise up again and that was days and days ago and hasn't said anything about it since. In fact, on this very Tumblr he's only bringing it up again because somebody ELSE is bringing it up, allowing him a chance to further break down why asshole behavior is still asshole behavior.

So let's bring this back to the "screw 'em" thing. You'll notice that in none of these longer rambling statements I've made have I brought them up. Sure, in that 40 seconds during the stream I did… but that was in the middle of the first wave of it where it really WAS affecting me psychologically hard… and I have not talked about them on stream since then. I don't talk about them in these threads. I don't tell my fans to harass them. I don't make up some nickname for them or mock them or do anything other than maybe some frustration at them during the thread a few years ago (and I am explicitly telling my fans not do so - if you want to be an asshole to them, you can fuck off from my fans). Because I don't WANT to talk about them. They can do whatever the hell they want on their streams. They can call me Lightbringer there, make weird memes about me. It's THEIR space to do with as they please.

The problem is entirely that their fans come to MY space to be assholes. To repeat those memes, to bully me and call me the name. Some do it innocently, thinking I'm okay with it (which, again - is who that thread was directed towards)… but there are others who are being assholes about it. And I'm going to call them assholes about it and block them. And I'm still not going to talk about Oney because I don't want to - they're not the ones who are spamming Lightbringer in my chat or comments or trying to find some way of sneaking it into the comments past my comment filters to try to get a gotcha on me. Hell, I've gotten some people who have said they discovered me and love my stuff now BECAUSE Oney talked about me.

And I'd really like to know which recent review you saw where I was specifically attacking creators in the manner you seem to think I did. Because being angry at a plot point or a narrative decision is not the same thing as attacking a creator. I'll freely tell you about the ones I HAVE specifically called out for shittiness - the racist, the homophobic, the sexual harassers, the transphobic, the one that spread misinformation, or just the greedy assholes. But just looking at the list of the last 50+ episodes I've done that maybe… once or twice? And even despite ALL those horrible things, I STILL tell my fans to leave them alone - to not start fights with them, to not send my videos to them, etc. Because I don't want my fans to be bullies, either.

I will end this with one final thing: "The comments you complain about getting seem tame in comparison." Yeah, well, that's because you're you and I'm me. Something that seems innocuous to one person may be deeply triggering for someone else. Something that seems like an innocent joke might actually be really fucking with someone mentally, as it was for me. And that's why I've tried to tell people "Hey, please don't do that." Maybe I do it aggressively. But sometimes that's the only way people will listen. If people are still doing it even after I've expressed how much it harms me - telling me that I should just "get over it" or "let them do it and respond with a laugh" even though I keep saying it DOES affect me, then those people are assholes and I don't see why I should give them the time of day.

Hopefully this lengthy response (I really am a windbag) helps people understand or it clears up some bullshit. And if it's still not good enough for you, then nothing less than complete capitulation to being called Lightbringer is the only thing that will satisfy you… well, fuck off.

Let’s talk Limbus Company!

Something I recently noticed is that Limbus Company’s Abnormality numbering system is slightly different from that of Lobotomy Corporation. Whereas L Corp. used one letter and two numbers, the Company threw in an additional number to the set that throws everything slightly off. Additionally, there’s a few extra variations we see in Limbus that we don’t in Lobotomy, so without further adieu, here’s what I think the different parts of Limbus Company’s Abnormality designations mean, gathered from what we already know and have theorized about L Corp’s system:

Letter — Denotes the Abnormality’s origin as one of the following:

• Original — Spawned from nothing but the thoughts and desires of the Dreamer and therefore the purest type of Abnormality

• Trauma — Spawned as the fallout of the Dreamer’s grievances with the City

• Fairytale — Based on literature or folklore, generally originating from outside the City

• Myth — Based on artifacts and ideas discovered from the days before the City, but could also be exclusively religious in nature (it is difficult to tell given we currently only have three known examples to go off)

• Sin — Spawned from one of the seven sin resonances, so far only consisting of Peccatulae

• Donator — Granted to L Corp. from an outside source

First Number — Denotes the shape of the Abnormality as follows:

1 - Humanoid Organism

2 - Non-Humanoid Organism

3 - Supernatural Being

4 - Object without Moving Parts

5 - Object with Moving Parts

6 - Undefined

7 - Breaching Tool

8 - Peccatulum

9 - Standard Tool

Second Number — Denotes the District in which the Abnormality was first encountered by Limbus Company.

Third Number — Unique identification number given to each Abnormality within a District.

So, for a few examples as proof of this theory’s validity:

S-08-04-01, Peccatulum Gulae, is a Peccatulum (Automatically making it S-08) and the first Abnormality we meet in the game’s first dungeon in District 4 (Making the last two numbers 04-01).

M-04-04-05, Doomsday Calendar, is based on the stone calendars created by Mesoamerican cultures of the real world (M-04). It is the fifth Abnormality encountered in District 4 (04-05). Also, from now on, I won’t be bothering with the third number because it is somewhat arbitrary.

T-04-10-05, Have You Become Strong, takes the form of a large, plastic freight container and can be presumed from its combat event to be formed from a dreamer who was involved in or witnessed some kind of industrial accident (T-04). It is found in District 10 (10-05).

F-05-10-18, Baba Yaga, is based on a Russian folk character, a witch known as… Baba Yaga (F). Specifically, it is based on the hut that the witch lived in that walked about on fowl’s legs (05). It is found in District 10 aaand you get the idea.

Now, the weird one that kind of threw a wrench in this entire thing initially was F-04-03-04, Ebony Queen’s Apple. This Abnormality is an Aberration of Snow White’s Apple from Lobotomy Corporation and Library of Ruina, automatically making it a Fairytale-type due to its association with the popular children’s story. Though some might argue it should be considered a humanoid or non-humanoid organism, this apple has already fallen from its tree and is therefore more in the inanimate object category, making its first number 04. Make sense so far? Of course it does. The strange thing about this Abno is that, despite making its debut appearance in District 4, its second number is 03. So, why is this?

There are two possible theories. One is that the Abnormality is not one of a kind, and that a previous team from Limbus also sighted the exact same creature in District 3, which opens up an entire can of worms about the uniqueness of Abnos. The second is that, shortly before the fall of L Corp, the Ebony Queen’s Apple was transferred from a Branch in District 3 over to the one Yuri worked at, which ALSO has weird implications.

Anyway, I’ve rambled on way too long about this, now. I don’t really have a good way of ending this post, so I guess I’ll just say that Limbus is still a relatively new game, and I’ll be making sure to check how future Abnormalities fair in this classification system.

Plus I have other things I kinda wanna post. Btw, there’s a third part to this as well, which i’ll probably upload eventually. Cuz I mean, may as well.

Y/N looks into Wednesday's eyes with a wide smile, leans in, and kisses her. Wednesday, not to Y/N's surprise, kisses back passionately. She soon pulls away and says,

"See, how hard was that?"

"It wasn't hard at all. I just like teasing you."

"Oh is that so? You enjoy teasing the girl that carries a knife with her everywhere she goes?"

"I wouldn't mind risking getting a little cut." Y/N responded, with a hint of flirtation in her tone. Wednesday narrows her eyes.

"Is that because you know I'd never hurt you?"

"We both know you wouldn't." Y/N replies with a tilt of her head. Wednesday holds out her hand.

"Give me your palm." Y/N looks down at her hand and furrows her brows, but reluctantly gives her her hand. She looks back up at Wednesday's face to try and catch her eyes. But she only looks at their interlocked hands for a second, then whispers something in Y/N’s ear, in a language she doesn't know. The corners of Wednesday's lips just barely lift as she releases Y/N's hand.

"What did I say just now, Y/N?" She could only scoff.

"You think I know?" The ravenette glares into her eyes.

"What? Don't play coy with me, Y/N, I know a little more about you than you think I do. So what did I just say?"

"I. Don't. Know. It didn't even sound like english."

"It was Latin, you imbecile. I just made an oath in Latin to never hurt you." Y/N’s face brightened.

"A part of me was hoping you were going to cut my palm and make some sort of blood oath."

"You are twisted. You know that?" Y/N crossed her arms in front of her chest.

"Bold of you to say." Wednesday glares at her. She whispers something in Latin again, then walks away. However, as she retreats, Y/N finds the palm of her hand is branded with a small black heart. Her eyebrows raise and she looks up at Wednesday's retreating figure. The ravenette gives her a small nod as she continues walking away. And suddenly, out of no where, Y/N hears an ominous voice whisper in her head rattle around like a tennis ball,

"You're mine now." Her eyes widen as she wraps her arms around herself, however she can't help the smile that threatens to show itself on her face. She lets out a sigh before deciding to make her way back to her dorm.

Later that night, Wednesday sneaks into Y/N's dorm room using a key she made for herself.

"Sleeping like the dead." Wednesday notes under her breath as she walks over to where Y/N is sleeping, and sits down in a desk chair beside her bed. She starts to watch her, waiting for her to wake up. The girl sleeping continues to snooze, but her unconscious body seems to sense a pair of eyes watching her. She turns around in her bed and opens her eyes, giving Wednesday a drowsy look of confusion.

"What are you doing in here?" Wednesday stares back at her, letting the silence stretch for a moment before speaking,

"I'm here to watch you sleep." Another second of silence passes by before Y/N responds,

"Well that's always romantic..." She props herself up on her elbow and rubs her eyes to rid of sleep.

"I'm full of surprises." The corner of Wednesday's mouth twitches upward into an almost smile as she leans forward and reaches out to gently brush her hand across Y/N's cheek. The raven haired girl moves even closer and whispers,

"Would you like to know my darkest secret?" Y/N releases a breathy laugh.

"Okay..."

"Do you really wanna know? It's pretty twisted." Wednesday's face is inches away now. Y/N can see every spot and freckle, but the girl in front of her is as beautiful as ever. She whispers again.

"Would you like to know my secret?" Y/N nods enthusiastically. Almost frustrated that she just won't tell her already.

"Yes yes, just tell me." Wednesday stares into Y/N's eyes. Her lips pull back in a subtle smile.

"I will.... if you give me a kiss." Y/N's mouth gaps open and she looks on in surprise.

"Are you serious?" Wednesday pulls closer.

"As serious as a black widow bite. Now, kiss me." Y/N chuckles and she sits up in her bed, grumbling a little as she does.

"My my, Wednesday. Who woulda thought you'd be clingy at night... come here." Wednesday pulls Y/N into her arms, then kisses her passionately, her hands gripping Y/N's hips tightly. The girl in her arms let's out a soft gasp and cups her face, stomach filling with butterflies. Wednesday pulls back, still gripping Y/N tight, her eyes wide and excited.

"Was that good enough?"

"You tell me. You were the one practically begging me to kiss you." Y/N replies, her eyes twinkling in the moonlight.

"I want to know how you feel." Wednesday caresses Y/N's cheek, then asks quietly,

"Would you like to do it again?" Y/N softly smiles.

"I would... after you tell me this dark twisted secret you claim to have."

"Very well then." Wednesday takes a deep breath, then whispers in Y/N's ear,

"I'm falling in love with you."

so i'm gonna hit you with 3 kaf songs since they're part of a trilogy and i think it's a good Summary of what kaf is About + her over the years since this trilogy spans most of her current career

devour the past is the first song in the . well. devour the past trilogy lol. it's also the first kaf song i ever heard and for a very long time, her most popular. she was 15 years old when she sang this! the music video is also really good but if you listen to all three songs in the trilogy you will see the skyrocketing quality of the animation lol (and kaf's voice as she's improved and grown up)

becoming the ocean is the second, and she was 17 at the time! the video for this one is one of my favorites on her channel. idk why i just think it's really good

aaand hito wo kidoru (everyone calls it the japanese name because it's a wonky title to TL into english LOL) is the third/final, she was 19 at the time. this is relevant because the trilogy is about the complications of growing up and moving on and stuff and in the last song she has literally become an adult as the singer

The first fic in the series sets the general DC/Hunger Games premise, while the the other one is purely Jason’s backstory. I find myself re-reading Red, and Terrible, and Red because his backstory is immaculate, but you probably should read the setup fic first 😅

The doctor was sitting painfully close, only two feet away. The tone of voice implied he was talking louder, not quite a yell but something nearly there; it sounded like a whisper to Jason. So quiet, with every third word unintelligible, except for that first phrase: "Mr Wayne, I'm afraid you're profoundly deaf." --- Jason is profoundly deaf. He learns to cope with it.

The premise is exactly what it sounds like, but so much more. The author goes into detail regarding Jasons treatment, how Bruce (isn't) being helpful, and the genuine fear he feels when he's with his family. It's separated into small scenes that connect beautifully. A must read honestly.

We'll Never Get Free (Lamb To The Slaughter) by AquamarineMemeBender

4,286; Graphic Depictions Of Violence, Major Character Death; Jason Todd & Bruce Wayne, Damian Wayne & Colin Wilkes, Batfamily Members & Jason Todd, Batfamily Members & Bruce Wayne "He keeps throwing kids into his own self destruction and never understands that he'll never be able to save them." "I know," she gasps. "I know. I already know. He didn't save me, he didn't save my mom, he didn't save my best friend or-" "You know," Jason assures her, and rests the end of his gun on her forehead as gently as possible. "He doesn't." Or: Bruce keeps making Robins. Jason keeps killing them.

Very dark, and also relies on the Lazarus Pit. BUT! The pit is used differently here, adding to the surreal horror of this fic. Reading this is like watching a car made of hope, love, and familial trust crash into a brick wall.

Turning Point by Neocolai

4,310; Not Rated; Graphic Depictions Of Violence Hood had one standard as a hired gun — he didn’t shoot kids. The Joker should’ve known better than to involve him, even if the party in question was Bat-trained.

Aaand a fic that is the complete opposite of the last one.

I love seeing how people make Jason the Red Hood without the ‘I am a better Batman’ angle or the bruce daddy issues. This is a solid read.

4,090; Dick Grayson & Jason Todd After his time as a mob boss, Jason opens a private detective agency for Gotham's ghosts, investigating their deaths and helping them find justice. A case leads him to getting justice for his own ghost haunting him. (aka a supernatural noir detective AU)

This is a banger noir fic that sprinkles in intriguing worldbuilding, and gives the characters a really cool vibe. Jason feels like a legitimate detective & I could easily imagine this being a slice from a video game.

The Zombie Robin by Penglaive

36,301 Nearly half a year after Jason Todd was murdered by the Joker, Scarecrow launched a plot to delve six feet deeper into the heart of fear. Whether this plot went ultimately right or horribly wrong is a matter of perspective, but everyone involved could agree it went weird quickly, even by Gotham standards.

Jason must deal with his unknown zombie status in this fic, and it has more depth than you might imagine. Penglaive strikes a nice tonal balance between serious and lighthearted, switching perspectives giving context to the greater impact of Jason's return. This one is uberly underrated.

Okay, I need to- I NEED TO EXPLAIN. Because my gosh twitch plays chat determination.

Normally for this glitch you have to first talk to the Old Man and watch the catch tutorial, then fly to Cinnabar somehow and surf the coast. If I understand this correctly. We did not have anyone who could Fly. Teleport can work too. ....We tossed that during Pokemon Tower. We could warp with blackout???? Apparently!! But to do so required a ludicrous plan to activate it since we needed to fly from Viridian specifically.

So! The plan:

We're mid levels because we've made it Cinnabar and no way are we risking PC for little ones. Have most of the team blackout in Pokemon Mansion except preferably one member.

Said member must get Poisoned so we can purposefully faint after the tutorial. Note we own two Poison types so knock them out for sure since they can't be poisoned later.

Make it back to the Old Man before fainting. Can't checkpoint anywhere because we need to get back to Cinnabar.

Part 3 turned out to be harder than we thought. Because we tried using the Weedle in Viridian Forest to poison us, but the only party member low enough for Gen I mechanics was our Hypno. (We tried with Onix, but apparently in Gen I if they don't do any damage they always miss? Well Onix defense was too high). We tried Onix anyway with the Wild Tentacool south of Pallet but for similar reasons needed a wild encounter of at least Level 20. So change of plans, went into the grass area to find Tangela with the hope it would randomly choose Poisonpowder. Once we got that done, we still had to Surf, bypass Pallet, walk the winding route to Viridian City to reach the man aaand

So close (⁠ﾉ⁠´⁠･⁠ω⁠･⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠ ⁠ﾐ⁠ ⁠┻⁠━⁠┻

While we COULD have tried that again, we fell back on Hypno and the Weedle and a third attempt was made with success! Team dead! Poison get! Cinnabar warp! Manage the menu to get in the water since you can't just click it in Gen I! Found Missingno!!! Killed it. Found another though!!! Where we caught it with a Master Ball which took some effort being in the middle of the menu. And apparently named it Bucket. ＼⁠(ﾟ⁠ｰﾟ⁠＼⁠)

They've been at this for hours and I am so proud of Chat right now.

And for those unable to watch the vid, our streamer celebrated this feat by "giving us" a plushie. <3

Anyway I may have some concerns about a broken OP mon on the team before we finish the gyms, but I'm just so happy to have watched this. ;w;
