A fragmented conversation between space, text, and material residue, an interface of memories and half-loaded thoughts.

The words create a dialogue between documentation and distortion. Each element is an artifact of a moment that both happened and is still happening.

I wanted to play with punk zine aesthetics, the visual identity of net art minimalism, and post-internet debris with a detached approach to curation. There’s a clinical emptiness, but also the overwhelming sense that something is lurking beneath the surface.

With this designed instagram feed I wanted to create a void filled with digital ruins, physical leftovers, and the uncanny weight of presence - shot in a Miami-based artists studio.

Aniva Rock Lighthouse

Aniva Lighthouse Bay — an abandoned lighthouse on the Aniva Cape of Sakhalin island, on the Sivuchya rock. The height of the tower is 31 meters, the height of the light is 40 meters above sea level.

Aniva lighthouse was established in 1939 on a small rock Sivuchya, near the inaccessible rocky Cape Aniva. This area is teeming with frequent fogs and underwater rocky banks. The Japanese name of the Cape ��� Nakashiratoko (YAP.中知床岬) — the original name to the lighthouse; later it was renamed Aniwa lighthouse.

I’ve been spending a lot of time staring at this piece lately, as it currently hangs next to my bed. There’s a real weird story behind it about how I created this within my first few months in New Orleans, based on an abandoned house down the block from my first home. The day after I finished it, a big storm blew in and 3 tornadoes touched down in the area, one of which completely demolished the building. It was close to my birthday and the storm felt a lot like a goodbye from Oklahoma, and a welcome to New Orleans. Now this building lives here and I haven’t done another once since, even though I was thinking about doing a series, cause I don’t want to accidentally level the city. I always thought the actual building looked like a child’s drawing in its flatness and crooked lines, with its crayola-esque graffiti markings. It’s called “Drawing of a House”. Kola Superdeep Borehole

History and Current Status of the Kola Superdeep Borehole. Discover Kola Superdeep Borehole - the deepest hole drilled in the name of science.

Drilling began on 24 May 1970 using the Uralmash-4E, and later the Uralmash-15000 series drilling rig. Boreholes were drilled by branching from a central hole. The deepest, SG-3, reached 12,262 meters (40,230 ft; 7.619 mi) in 1989 and is the deepest artificial point on Earth. The borehole is 23 centimeters (9 in) in diameter.
