Types of training/exercise that you should familiarize yourself with:
PLYOMETRICS: jump interval training
TABATA: timed, high-intensity training
HIIT: high intensity interval training
SUPERSET: no rest between exercises
TIME UNDER TENSION: holding muscle tension for longer periods of time
ENDURANCE TRAINING: aerobic exercise
These types of training targets more than one muscle at a time, while getting your heart rate up. So while you build muscle and strength, you’ll also be burning fat by improving your metabolism and stamina. Do 4 rounds of these bear crawls with alternating kick-throughs, for 30-60 seconds each set. You’ll feel these in your core and your legs, especially your quads. Sugar is such a soother because it causes the release of dopamine, also known as a happy hormone. However, other things can stimulate dopamine too!
Where you are getting your sweet cravings filled... food? friends? fun? family? faith? fitness? Simply observe where sweetness is coming into play in your life and whether you are "seeking the sweet" in one area over others. Sweet things make us happy due to dopamine, and there's lots of ways to to pursue sweetness beyond diet. We can enjoy sweet moments with our families, in our faith, with our friends, during our workouts AND with food. Find the balance and find your sweet spot!
