So I think Cynthia's mom left cynthia and their dad, idk when, but that has been my headcanon since before the coming scene

And personally I like the idea that the people of Rydell, that weren't close to the zdunowskis, didn't really know for sure about the situation, they just noticed she wasn't there anymore and rumors spread around it, Cynthias dad pretended she never existed outside of the house and Cynthia tried to do the same

But since Cynthia was close with the t-birds (tho they weren't called that yet) they knew the truth, and through that olivia.

The other (not yet) pink ladies did not, but both had obviously heard the rumors, therefore there came a point were Nancy and Jane had to ask........

throwback to the time I actually went bonkers and wrote an entire paragraph on conjunctions (I think they're classified as conjunctions 💀) in the song Famous Last Words by American rock band My Chemical Romance

The lyrics "awake and unafraid/asleep or dead" are incredibly significant in the song, and are repeated four times in quick succession after the lyrics “Cause I see you lying next to me/with words I thought I’d never speak”. These lyrics are a direct contrast to each other, with 'awake' and 'asleep' directly juxtaposing each other, and the usage of inclusive and exclusive conjunctions. 'And' is an inclusive conjunction, and due to the nouns surrounding it, has a positive connotation. He is awake, and not afraid of what is coming next. Conversely, 'or' is an exclusive conjunction, as it gives a choice between two (or more) options. The words 'asleep' and 'dead' also tend to have negative connotations. In this case, the words also refer to the uncertainty of not knowing whether the patient is asleep or if he has died. It also links in with him not knowing if he will go to sleep like normal and wake up in the morning, or if he will die in the night.

aggretsuko is quickly turning into one of those "had a lot of early potential" type shows. Like, the setup is neat, i would like more shows about characters hating their shitty jobs and being loud about it, but it just also gets bogged down with shitty het romance and never capitalizes on its actual appeal to me. Particularly season 2 felt just so, so conservative to me, it's the most romance-heavy season by far and god these animals just do not stop talking about monogamous breeder relationships

Yall ever think about how actually fully horrific Richies death was? Like I think about it a lot, and I don’t mean because he thought he was finally safe from Max or cause he was starting to love his life or cause what happened to max wasn’t even his fault. I mean because he got his nipples ripped off his body and then drowned in toilet water. What the fuck. Like I get the joke of it but also if I had to pick the most painful way to die that would be up there. Like ik these are horror stories but sometimes they catch me off guard for how abruptly brutal they can be. I would call it about on-par with Hey Melissa! for how much the violence disturbed me. This is probably just due to my vivid imagination combined with the way I empathize, but uh yeah. What the fuck

I still hate that the mystery around Cassian’s mom was crushed so easily just by saying she was dead 😭. Like bro. I get it. But come on. I really wanted Cassian to be tracking down his heritage, up against the other Illyrians who won’t tell him anything and actively despise him so they actively try to thwart him at every turn. I wanted Cassian to talk about his mom to Nesta and them bonding over absent/lost parents and the dream of having people that care about them.

And I eventually wanted him to find his mom but… maybe when Nesta and Cassian’s romance was still new and budding or just barely solidified. So the person whom his mom attaches to is maybe more Nesta. Just out of culture and a woman’s role. I want Cassian’s mom thinking that she’s both the perfect person for her son as in she checks off all the boxes of what’s expected and phenomenally. Her son is truly blessed in that sense. But also I wanted her to think that she’s also maybe not anything that she’s expecting because Nesta’s a rule breaker. She doesn’t fit any mold. If anything she is dangerous to their world that doesn’t like change. That doesn’t like non compliant women. She’s loud and chaotic and angry and emotional and most of all she’s not silent. She screams. Even when she’s quiet, she roars.

And I wanted Cassian and mom bonding, but also mom and Nesta bonding because Nesta realizes that moms are suppose to be loving and her mom’s attention made her bitter. But Cassian’s mom is like you’re my daughter now so I’m your mom too. And Damn it!!!! I wanted family vibes.
