for new users who want to avoid being blocked and reported because of their blog appearance, some advice:

SET YOUR PFP!! do not leave your pfp as the default.

on the topic of your pfp, don't set it to some random ass white lady. that's textbook pornbot and will get you blocked and reported so fast

set your blog title to literally anything except for "Untitled" or a random string of characters. if I see an untitled blog, I don't even look at the rest before blocking.

REBLOG REBLOG REBLOG. interact with posts! don't just reblog a few posts in one sitting and never again either. bonus points if you add tags to your reblogs - adding your own commentary to the post in the tags is very commonplace on tumblr. even just a simple #rb in the tags helps

set your likes and follows to private. not technically necessary, but definitely recommended

if there's anything i missed, feel free to add your own advice. there's probably a thousand posts like this on tumblr but this bot issue is driving me up the wall and I figured the best outlet was an advice post for the users that have probably ended up being caught in the crossfire and reported for spam.
