Notebooks! Quite often I get the question which notebooks I use for my art. In this post I put together the kind of notebooks that I use most at the moment. It has changed over the years. (Mostly due to stores changing or discontinuing their items.) 

What I look for is quite simple: a dummy notebook. Which basically means a notebook that has blank pages. That’s it. I prefer pages that are a bit thicker rather than the flimsy thin paper some other notebooks have. Mostly because this allows me to work with markers or paint without it all bleeding through onto the other pages. But even with thin paper, as long as you’re a bit careful and not using alcohol based markers or anything, you’re good. In the video’s you can see the difference in pages the notebooks have. I am currently madly deeply in love with the first notebook shown. It’s from @actionnederland and they also had the black paged book! The other notebook is from @hemanederland which is also just fine ( very cheap :)) but just has a bit thinner paper for the pages. But still. Have been buying that one over and over again for at least two years now. I sometimes find different sizes in other stores. (Often smaller since these are A5.) And I sometimes get those too. But the same preferences apply to those books. One last thing I look for is the ability to scan the pages. Notebook has to fit in my scanner and has to be able to open flatly even when I’ve made a few pages to get decent scans. I hope this helped! Drop any questions in the comments 😉

Misschien denk je nu, wat een ongezellige sprei... Snap ik, want het ziet er ook wel een beetje gek uit dat 'ie maar op één helft van het bed ligt. Leuke ervaring bij de Action en HEMA. Ik vroeg aan de kassiere of er nog andere panty’s binnenkwamen. Nee, wat er aanwezig is, is alles. Ok. En bij HEMA twijfelde of ik Opaque of steun zou nemen. Ik zag light support en vroeg aan 2 vrouwen of er nog een steverige aanwezig was. Nee. Ik vertelde dat ik vaak draag onder een korte broek en fietsbroek en dat er zelfs herenpantys zijn. Dat wisten ze niet. De ene zei als je het fijn vind om te dragen , moet je het gewoon doen. Wat een leuk gesprek. Ik vertelde ook mijn mening over de crises. Finally got around to ticking some projects off of my to do list. I bought these kits about a year and a half ago at the @actionnederland The actual making of was kinda labor intensive, the fact that there were no other instructions than "glue the paper onto the pressed wood, then assemble" didn't help. Zo, dat was een andere Carnavalsvakantie dan ik van tevoren bedacht had. Ik bracht een groot gedeelte van de week in bed door, maar ben inmiddels weer zo goed als opgeknapt. Gelukkig had ik wel een heel fijn dekbedovertrek van Action op bed liggen. Summer straws decoration ☀️ 🇳🇱 Rietjes knippen en plakken! Wil je een keer iets knutselen, maar weet je niet wat? Het is wellicht wat ver gezocht, maar bij ons ontstond dit papieren rietjes zomerschilderijtje. Het is goedkoop materiaal en je kan natuurlijk van alles beplakken met rietjes.. Plak ze eens op een stuk karton in een leuke vorm, of zoals dit voorbeeld, op een gewoon vierkant canvasboard. Ook kleine projectjes kan je ermee doen, want dit is wel nogal een werkje geweest, omdat het canvasboard eigenlijk best groot is. We hadden beter iets kleiners kunnen beplakken, achteraf gezien. Maar ja, als je eenmaal begint dan wil je hem ook helemaal af hebben, ken jij dat ? Dus we knipten en plakten en knipten en plakten. Beetje passen en meten maar ook zonder nadenken kom je er.
