its so funny to me how midam is like. not only one of the healthiest relationships on supernatural and basically canon, but the person who ended up acting both roles is jake abel. who is WHOLE HEARTEDLY a midam shipper. like this man bases his food products on the show he got no more than a few hours on, he answers abo questions at cons. literally nobody else would be like this, its insane.

I know I shouldn’t be surprised by any ship ever cause someone ships everything, but I didn’t realize until I saw a Dean x Michael post how much I ship Michael and Adam. Like, the “destined by fate”/“true vessel” connection is nowhere near as attractive to me as “you weren’t meant for me but I chose you anyway” Destiel and Midam both fall into that category for me of being romantic for having gone against fate to choose one another.

The idea that after Michael is able to make his own vessel, he still sometimes joins Adam in his. It's like the ultimate cuddle.

And the best part is, sometimes Michael's empty ass vessel will just fall. It'll just faceplant on the floor because Michael and Adam wanted some together time.

The imprisonment within the Cage continues. Sam Winchester’s soul is gone. Lucifer and Michael remain, as does Michael’s best friend, Adam Milligan.

Michael’s best friend. Maintaining a best friendship with Adam Milligan is as gratifying as it is humbling. Friendship is a human conception, an extension of Free Will. Father did not design angels with Free Will. He Blessed angels with Purpose. And yet, the Archangel Michael maintains a best friendship with Adam. It is awesome, and Michael likes it. Very much.

But what constitutes a friendship? As the centuries pass within Hell and Michael’s connection to Adam grows ever deeper, the Archangel begins to discern just how much he cares for the human. How much he will always care for the human. However, when Lucifer is removed from the Cage while still Michael remains, the Archangel must confront a devasting truth. The outcome of which jeopardizes the very foundation of Michael’s best friendship and threatens his relationship with the one being that Michael has grown more devoted to than even God.

Adam and Michael in the cage 100% annoyed the shit out of lucifer and thing is luci didn’t even realise Adam was there so he just thought that Michael had finally pulled the stick out of his ass. Adam found out luci didn’t know he was there and used it to his advantage, he’d take over and say shit just to piss him off and luci was really confused because he didn’t know that Michael even knew about half the shit Adam was rambling on about and when he found out Adam was with them in the cage everything kinda clicked for him and instead of getting pissed he just suggested that they all play go fish. Luci and Adam kept losing to Michael even though Michael hadn’t been paying attention to how to play. Adam beat both of their asses in uno though. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

its so crazy to me that adam milligan; the spare son; the backup that nobody thought about; the sidenote that nobody accounted for; can see true forms and hear true voices.

like. dean cant. the righteous man; the michael sword; michaels predestined vessel; the one that has been planned for for centuries; cannot. and the thing is, he was EXPECTED to at least in some capacity, because cas tried to talk to him when he was taken out of hell.

but this random nobody from minnesota can. the one who arguably ends up being michaels true vessel, not the sword or anything no, but his TRUE vessel, can.

we all know midam was never planned for, both of them were chucked into the cage and forgotten about. but the little things like this sometimes make me wonder.

Lucifer's taste: Traumatized alcoholic that becomes so damaged he becomes a murderer and basically runs his own cult of demons because he's now in love with Lucifer, his destined true vessel who keeps rejecting him but gets forever tied with Lucifer through trauma, demon blood, an apocalypse, etc., the first woman he happens to get close to during his depression arc after his father abandons him once more (and his first true vessel who was as much of a monsterfucker as Nick in my headcanon :'D)
