I used to write poetry. I think I’m gonna get my period soon. Early. I want to cry to a man. I know who I want. I know who I wish for. One I can’t have and one I’m afraid to scare away. The one I could go to, the one I’d rather go to, isn’t really mine. And I don’t want to be too much. I’d rather have some of him than none of him. And the other isn’t an option at all. Just a thought, a longing, an idea. I want his comfort, though. I hope I didn’t change his opinions. I hope I’m still a good girl.

By law, students who are eligible for reduced price meals cannot be charged more than 30 cents for breakfast and 40 cents for lunch. With processing fees, however, families can end up paying 10 times that amount.
