Oh my god... Y'all I did it... I've been trying to draw this for 2 weeks but I didn't understand the perspective and posing well enough to execute it. I'm so excited to turn this into a full painting. I gotta fix Alphonse but I ran out of space and had to put him on a sticky note haha

The first attempt was so bad LOL I had no idea where to even begin but I had the vision. But I grinded out some posing and perspective and was able to figure it out... I also watched this fight scene like 40 times haha

for the past couple of days, i've been working on Boe's house in limbo and getting it to look close to how i've been picturing it in my head - here's a couple of shots so far showing off the exterior and interior, with the top screenshot being further along in progress than the other exterior shots.

The thing that really bugs me about when they don't give Charles a cane if they insist on making him walk is that even if he's suddenly not paralysed anymore HIS LEG MUSCLES WOULD BE WEAK AS FUCK!!! He'd need a cane bare minimum to help him walk, more likely a walker or crutches. It's shitty to take away our disability rep but also just... does not make sense. Unless they specify that whatever cured his paralysis also fixed the myriad other issues that come with that. Even if they do say that still fuck them give my man back his wheelchair.

from what i know, for the most part whenever charles' disability is 'done away with' it's because his mind/soul is transported to a new body. it's seldom because his paralysis is 'magically healed' in the body he has currently

though in some cases, this doesn't make charles' mobility permanent: we've seen it more of a mental battle in these cases when it comes to charles walking, and while his body is capable his mind makes it difficult:

BUT this does not include the earliest instance of charles' disability being put aside: we first see him walking in Uncanny X-Men #23 utilizing special braces that are operated psychokinetically. or something idk its a weird device thing

he hasn't died yet and so the body he has in this instance is the same one he's had since the lucifer incident- probably shouldn't be able to walk with ease, without at LEAST a cane. imo.

Something a littleeeee but different than I usually post, but after recreating Hatsune Miku I couldn’t help myself and try some other characters I like! Blue Exorcist is one of my favourite mangas, and the parallels between Blue Exorcist and XCX have been living in my head rent-free for years. Like hmmmmm brothers who use a sword and duals guns….Hiroyuki Sawano did the music on both projects…yknow the list goes on and on.

Tried my best recreating Rin and Yukio! It might be hard to see, but I have Rin wearing the devil horns and Yukio with the glasses to fit the recreations more. Honestly, it’s so cool that XCXDE really gave us the opportunity to go more wild with the character customization, especially with the multiple save ports! I’ve been having a fun time trying different designs in my spare time and have taken loadsssss of photos.

Also extra content: Rin and “Yukio” pic (I had to use H.B. in atleast one duo photo! Him and Yukio both are smart guys with glasses and moles lol).

made a facial ref sheet for shri’iia, and also took this chance to refine her design a little bit. I made her face look a bit more closer to her face claim/face ref (90s shalom harlow esp her eye shape) but still kept it close to the in game face I use for her. the little notes are mostly for me hence why they’re small and not sure if it’s legible, and I’ll def add more to the notes after my pen charges lol
