when did you join ? what made you join ? what do you remember from the plotlines that were current at the time ? where were you in life when you joined and where are you now ?

i was in college! april 2018. but i was looking for something new to join. i liked the political aspect of the rp, it was still a pairs rp with the alliance system that seemed fun. i was in the middle of my political science major so i liked the idea of using what i was learning. also the main was very pretty. a lot of it was new to me, that's when we were all using icons and i didn't know what the heck small text was.

which characters have you written over the years ?

oh no, let's see: elyse, aslan, michael, daisuke, roxanna, stella, rebeka (i think was her name??) (stella part 1 kinda), ester (remember the pons?), domas (daisuke part 1 lbr), there was a daniel bruhl fc early on rip to him, ming fa (jianguo part 1), jianguo (my sweet boy, i did you dirty), queen of nambia i don't remember your name but you were fun, duchess of brittany i think?

what is your favourite plotline that you've been part of ?

andorra! also layslan my beloved.

the russian plots were always super sexy and the zulus were so good. also england. just all of it.

who is your favourite character from the ones you've played ? why ? what made you love them ? what made them so fun to write ?

elyse, my little nightmare. she grew up with me it feels like. i was studying nationalism and populism in my undergrad degree and i wanted to play with those styles of politics. she's so screwed up but i love her. her insecurity and the way that makes her clings to her choices, even when they are clearly bad. i think we all do that sometimes, we fear something and the create the situation that we fear. honorable mention to my baby michael and my favorite villain domas/daisuke who would just plan fun.

probably my early ones, like early prussia. i learned so much in this half decade about writing, storytelling, and working in a group. i am entirely grateful to all of you for teaching me with kindness and love.

what's a plotline you wish you would have been able to finish before closing or just write more of ?

i'm not going to lie, i've had kalyse on my mind recently. but we had a whole thing with michael planned out and northern ireland which would have been fun. and we had some stuff planned for daisuke too that would have been interesting. also, if we had done it, you would have screamed at the mexico/cuba plot

all of them but hshqmas is always a delight. also all the april fools admin announcements which got me every year and now this *weeps*

i'm not going to say everything i want to say because i'm in my feelings. i feel like i grew up in hshq; as a person and as a writer. i've joined and left a lot of groups in this time but i always come back here. come home. i want to say thank you. and thank you for your patience and communication and still loving me when i know i screwed up. i can only hope i've left you with as many good feelings as you all have left me with. and thank you in particular to the admins for your care, attention, and dedication to the group. honestly, you're outstanding. i wish i had bosses who would asked for and provided feedback as well you three. all of my love, and i mean all of it, to hshq. xoxo.

Announcement: Team Curiosity's Annual Book Fair and Science Conference will commence on the 15th!

When: July 15-16th

Where: Veilstone City, Sinnoh, in the Veilstone Convention Center

Hello everyone,

It is my pleasure to announce the annual Team Curiosity Book Fair and Science Conference is still on! We were worried about putting out any announcements considering recent events, but we're now confident enough to announce the event in earnest.

The event will be open to all ages and levels of knowledge. The book fair is a pay-as-you-can event. The books are all free to take, as we believe that money shouldn't be a barrier to information, but if you do wish to pay for them, we will have a tip jar set up. Though we can source the books on our own, we are also accepting donations. The books provided can be directed towards any age range, and can be fiction or nonfiction. If you would like to donate any books, contact us, and we'll make arrangements.

The science conference will be mainly targeted towards those with professional knowledge on different subjects, though all are free to attend. Scientists, tradesmen, academics, anyone with a professional level of knowledge in a specific field or topic. Experts in both science and humanities-based fields are welcome to apply as educators and hold presentations and workshops for the general audience. Contact our admin team if you want to schedule something!

Speaking of our admin team, all admins will be present and willing to answer any questions you may have about the team or their specialties. We realize that pokemon trainers are likely to challenge us as we have yet to fully shake the "team" stigma, but we do request that you not challenge Dr. Alston or my husband Theo. They take no pleasure in battling, and it's simply rude to pester someone for a battle if they don't want to participate.

It'll take place in the Veilstone Convention Center. If you're unfamiliar with where the building is, it's where the Team Galactic Headquarters used to be at the northeast corner of town.

Otherwise, your OC can still attend and interact, but don't do anything that would severely alter the events put in place. No blowing up the convention center, no bringing Reshiram to the book fair, leave the Entei egg at home, refrain from hospitalizing Ryan even if he is a dick, if it's anything above "general mischief and funny" then at least ask me first

Beyond that, have fun with it! This is just going to be a very chill and casual event, and I don't really bite, so feel free to just chill out and use the fair as a backdrop for your own personal low-stakes plots.

(okay, so life updates and whatnot:

irl is finally stabilizing, though im not 100% out of the wringer, so my activity is probably going to stay at its even more abysmal than abysmal levels of non-happening for the foreseeable future. it doesn't really help i think that my interest in g/enshin has waned as of late - like, i still like the game, but not as much as before. im hardly active playing it anymore, even for the FOMO events.

unless it involves irminsul or tonitoni or c.hilde shows up again anyway

that said, i love my tonitonis very much!!!!!!!! i want my daughter to keep being a terrible menace with a 20% chance of being tameable like catching a legendary with an ordinary pokeball. and things Are improving all the same, so i do expect to be able to check in more than before.

so, for my super amazing and wonderful and cool and spectacular and awesome and super duper amazing return, i will be working on essentially tidying up the backside of things before resuming replies!!

my plans are more or less this:

clean out followers - since i don't expect much activity to begin with, im hoping to keep my writing to a smaller, close knit group for the time being at least. as such, i will be softblocking people i haven't interacted with much ic or ooc, or who i don't see much prospect for interactions at this stage

clean out drafts - i don't think i have many threads or asks still waiting on me, but for the ones that are, i will likely clean them out if it's been way too long and/or i've lost interest in continuing. if i possess or reply to a thread that You are not keen on anymore, you can let me know as well!!

probably rewrite my rules to better reflect my activity level and also how id like to move forward with rp in general

Hey guys, wanted to make an admin announcement.

The way I see Camp Jupiter (and its canon portrayal in the books... yk, the way they're supposed to be /lh) is very militaristic. This includes drug tests and stuff.

Substances aren't really used casually if a person is a part of the legion, since they can be suspended from duty for that.

I come from a military family so I guess I'm just really picky about militaristic portrayals?? Idk, call me petty it's just an opinion but I do run this account so I wanted to make that clear.

The Senate nor the praetors (in my portrayals) really approve of that stuff when on duty. Nor really outside of duty either.

NRU portrayals? Yeah that makes sense, those are college kids.

But the legion??? Sorry guys, but it just makes zero sense to me and it's kinda frustrating.

Clean your rooms and pick you stuff up because parents are coming to Stonewall Prep! March 23rd-31st there will be no classes as parents will be visiting our campus. So mind your manners and remember, you’re representing the school to these esteemed guests. 

There are things prepared for Parents to enjoy and partake in on campus such as:  


Tours of campus

Family Dinners on the 23rd, 24th, and 30th

Class sit ins throughout the week

Lectures by Headmaster Jones including Graduation requirements and current claim trends and statuses

Welcome announcement and city trends by Mayor Lodge

In Town deals for shopping and dining

Parents are allowed on campus to visit their children, however, they must be staying off campus. CURFEW IS STILL ENFORCED and no student may stay off campus without a pass to do so and approval of the Headmaster.

Rules:


Curfew rules will stand for all students.

Parents/siblings 18 years or older are allowed to visit - no minors are allowed.

Parents + their submissive(s) are allowed

Parents are allowed on campus to visit and to see everything, but they must stay overnight in town. Hotels in town are promoting discounts for parents of institute students.

Parents being here does not mean students will get away with poor behavior choices, punishments will still stand if earned.

OOC:

PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS. I know it's a lot, but it's important. Alrighty so here we go! This will require all of the characters in a family figuring this out so PLEASE remember to be adults about this as decisions are made. DO NOT THROW FITS/GUILT TRIP OTHERS if you're not getting your way. Compromise is key.

If you so desire, you may have one writer from the family build a “parent blog” for one or more parents to be playable. WE ARE LIMITING EACH FAMILY TO ONE BLOG, however, if you have more than one parent coming they can all talk on the same blog. Or, you can have both parents come and only one be ‘active’ if you’d prefer. Self paras with non-blog parents are fine. In regards to the parents, for characters who have been here through a couple of these, some FC’s have been determined previously, and any previous information is listed on the Google Sheet linked further down this post.

OOC Rules to Parent’s Week: 

Must talk over ideas/plots with all family members if it involves the parents. 

Someone will have to play the parents who will be active and visiting - AGAIN - ONLY ONE BLOG PLEASE. You can have multiple parents on that blog, that’s fine. But just one blog. 

You can also have parents coming to the school, but aren’t ‘active’ (for self paras or things where they won’t be talking to other students)

You DO NOT have to have parents come if all writers in that family do not want them to. 

The person playing the family should be a writer in that family. However, we will allow outside people to do it, keeping the following in mind: 

- That writer cannot write outside of their own family again (meaning, if Mack writes the Berry parents, for example, she cannot write parents for any other non-Mack families).

- This person should know the family well enough to be able to play the parents without there being issues with HCs.

- YOU MUST HAVE TIME TO TAKE ON A PARENT ROLE. Other writers are counting on these roles for plot points and development. If you cannot commit to being on DAILY - do not agree to play a parent role. 

- Seriously, I can’t stress this enough. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t agree if you’re only going to be on once or twice during the week of this event. 

Please insert the information here by March 22nd.

If there are any plots involving parents either on campus or off, PLEASE RUN THEM BY THE ADMINS. We need to make sure everything is alright and fits within the world/school and we also need to watch out how triggering things are happening. Please do not go rouge, and we will not tolerate family plots that are not agreed to by all writers in that family.

HAPPY FIRST OF NOVEMBER!

How are there only two months left in this year?! It’s gone by so quickly! But we’re looking forward to spending the holiday season with you guys and having as much fun as possible. As usual, we’re here with a rundown of what to expect in November, a boost for our monthly prompt, some stuff to work on / keep in mind, and a look at the months ahead. Read on!

HAPPENING IN NOVEMBER:

november 3rd -- election day in merrock : voting is ongoing for our 2022 election, where we will be choosing a mayor and new members to sit on town council. IC, the election takes place on November 3rd, and OOC, you can vote up until 8PM on that night. (vote here!)

november 6th - 20th -- costa rica trip : happening for two weeks, starting on November 6th, everyone will be taking a trip to Costa Rica! Feel free to talk to the Benefactor to get more info, but we can’t wait to see everyone in bikinis and board shorts and having a blast.

november 24th -- food drive & dinner : to help those in town who need food and a place to eat it, the Community Center will be hosting a dinner, and also handing out canned and boxed foods for those who need it. Volunteers are needed and welcomed!

november 26th -- railway 5k : our annual run, the Railway 5K is for young and old runners alike, those who have a lot of experience and those who have very little. Run for fun, run or a reason, run for someone, just get out there and run!

the fun stuff -- enjoy the last regular season football game away on November 4th. we have a fun event on November 12th in Costa Rica for everyone to enjoy cocktails (plus a few others). And there will be shopping specials in Merrock for Black Friday on November 25th, and small business Saturday on November 26th.

EXTRA BIT OF FUN:

One thing we’ve yet to really delve into in town is how your character in particular feels about the Benefactor. So while we’ll probably do some fun moodboard or task next month to lighten things up and get into the holiday spirit, November’s development prompt is focused on the Mysterious Benefactor and is all about how you feel about them being in control of our town! What better time than as they’re taking us on a trip?!

RULES & REMINDERS:

as usual, a reminder to re-read our rules, and make sure that you are familiar with the expectations and guidelines. i’m likely going to address any activity issues after the trip, so just a few things to go over today.

if you're not already in the habit of doing so, be sure to check the starter master list before diving into other replies! it can make someone's whole day to feel included and get a reply right away, as opposed to hours or sometimes even days later.

try to be as fair as possible with activity: keep all characters active, reply to oldest stuff first, don't let finished replies sit in drafts (or queues!) for long periods of time, just be mindful that others depend on you for activity. (and on the other side, do be patient with each other, too!)

remember to just be inclusive and kind to everyone! as admin, i can say likes to our mod posts, events, tasks, etc. make us feel like you're paying attention and appreciate the work we do. and as players, you guys know comments on your OOC posts, likes on socials, giggling about outfits in replies, it all feels good! also, chatting in other spaces is fine, but do remember this is a tumblr based group -- be sure you're checking and replying to messages, and keeping an eye on the OOC blog, as well!

THINGS BEHIND THE SCENES:

costa rica is in the bag! all of the event posts will be drafted and ready to go later this afternoon. keep an eye on the benefactor’s page through the day, as a post will be going up with some IC (and OOC!) information he wants you all to have.

as we mentioned, we are going to be a bit more lenient around the winter holidays with activity. i will have an announcement upon the return from our trip about what our expectations will be! this will likely go into effect then through the beginning of January.

the latter half of november and december might be a bit slower around here with events and parties, and that’s simply because we’re busy as admins, and so are you, as players! but we still have some really fun, laidback things planned!

... plus, I have stuff saved to start working on most of 2023 already! and we’re always open to ideas you have, or even your own characters hosting events or parties!

thehunteddeerswynlake: New Announcement. Please read. In affect immediately due to the recent incident involving the attack on our owner, Gaston D'Avenant. You can read more through the article published by the Squire: here.

OOC: Phase two has begun! Gaston has officially banned a swath of people from the Deer. Of course, these are only "out" characters, so Magicks like werewolves or vampires who are not known to Gaston for being werewolves or vampires are still able to enter! (Not that they'd want to but idk your life, lolol.)

Additionally, if you would like to retaliate in anyway or test your luck by coming in to the Deer, please HMU in the DMs so we can discuss something!!

I am happy to cause some drama but I do have some stuff planned so I just want to be able to thread things together.

Also, if you have questions about the legality, I have put a little explainer below – but I’m also happy to answer questions! Please feel free to hit me up. I have discussed this plot already with the admin and they are aware of the definitions I’ve laid out!

HOW DOES THIS WORK, LEGALLY: For context/comparison, it is written into the law of England that Magicks in Swynlake, specifically, are NOT required to put their status on applications, unlike the rest of England which does require it. The clause “Except for within the bounds of Swynlake” was added into the law when it was written because it is a newer law (such as other anti-discriminatory laws that came into place in the 1970s.)

However, the law that gives business owners the option to ban Magicks is much older and therefore was never amended to specifically say: “This is not allowed in Swynlake.” Therefore, TECHNICALLY, it is within a business owner’s legal rights to ban Magicks from their private businesses in Swynlake. It just doesn’t happen, because people are y’know, not bigoted assholes. ❤️

What about the Charter? Although the charter grants Swynlake rights as a Magick-Friendly Town, it does not override the laws of England. Overall, it still operates within the bounds of English law–hence why doctors and police officers cannot be Magicks.  

Why can’t the Board/a petition do anything? Because the Board cannot change laws. Petitions are not legislation. They cannot override laws that exist, which is, again, why we still can’t have Magicks who are police officers/doctors, etc. When it comes to Magicks entering a building, it is not a protected “discriminatory” group in the UK, so it is lawful to bar them from entry. 

However, if you want to start a petition like "Gaston is a jackass" just for funnsies, go for it. 😂

In many places outside Swynlake, Magicks are barred from entering many establishments. Note that other discriminatory acts did not pass in the UK until the 70s, so it wouldn’t have been thought of to be included in the laws at the time.

Bubble rp (one with carrd and announcement on twt), please do much better with the interactions… people be seeing your story but don’t bother to reply at all and super selective // are you talking about the closed rp that you have to state who invited you in the app? Either way why are you not just.. taking this directly to the admins? Cos I can tell you now, if it is that rp then they don’t look at blogs like this lmao. I know someone who’s friends with the admins and the whole point of the inviting thing is to reduce the amount of toxicity and stuff because new joiners are vouched for by existing ones (but they still uphold their rules from what I’ve seen). But also, people really aren’t that selective? Sure they could be more interactive and make more effort in dms. But feed in general is pretty quiet, it has a lot to do with timing. But people are also more likely to comment on people they’re close to because activity isn’t pushed as much as mkay rps. It’s meant to just be a chill place without all the pressure to be active. If you want a more active place, then I’d suggest joining somewhere else instead. But interactions are also a two way street. Everyone I’ve reached out to since joined has replied. I was anxious about joining in group chats due to thinking like you and that it was selective but when I eventually did start talking in the chats, my muse was welcomed into the conversation and people were engaging even if they had interacted before. It is unfortunate that sometimes you gotta put in a little extra effort with some people to keep a conversation going but eventually you get the effort back from most. But thats gonna happen no matter where you go. My general rule of thumb is that the less active they are in general, you’re gonna be more likely to have to put in more effort. But There’s quite a lot of people there overall, the most active of which (in my experience) will happily reciprocate interactions and chat to you muse! But think about your muse too! Obviously in terms of other people, they shouldn’t pick and choose based on who a muse is. But ooc, you might find it easier to start interactions on a different mise? I was struggling with a muse I had their previously because they’re very introverted, so putting myself in their shoes I struggled to try and think how they’d initiate interactions especially with some of the louder muses there. I switched to a more outgoing muse and it helped me ooc to feel more confident in reaching out because my muse is openly very friendly (because im not my muse so my ability to talk isn’t the same as my muses; I’m acting as my muse, not portraying myself through my muse).

Please take all of this with a /gen tone! I’m genuinely just trying to help and make suggestions because the admins won’t see this unless you take it to them directly!

Merry christmas guys As an early christmas present to you (and a promise to start bringing out content for you guys) I present to you an rp discord server template.  I know that there are already some floating around but this is how I set up mine and I hope in some way it helps even just one person.

This is a private category that only the admins can see and communicate in. In it is 3 channels 

chat - a place where you can all communicate

to do - just a channel to put in things that need to be done (i.e event ideas )

interest check - I find it easy to keep track of doing interest checks or activity checks in this channel especially in rp groups with lots of characters

IMPORTANT

where all the important information for the rp goes. This includes rules, tupperbox,  announcement, hiatus and welcome channels to name a few 

formatting - every discord rp formats their stuff differently and this is where I usually put how to format and a quick tupperbox guide for new users. 

application - just so people can apply for characters if needed. 

CHARACTER CORNER

This is where I put any channels pertaining to characters - a masterist, wanted connections, in character intro, reserves, banned etc

Where you have an out of chat and  a nsfw out of chat if required 

WORLD BUILDING 

This includes any sort of world building for your rp including plot.

locations - just a place to put down any locations. This is good for thread starters or if your characters needs jobs

living situation - where you can put roommates or house mates

tasks - a channel to put in any tasksfor the muns to do. 

each mun has their own channel (or character depending on the size of the rp and how many characters you have) this is where they put character intros, headcannons, playlists, pinterests etc

SOCIAL MEDIA 

this is where you put your haracters instagram posts. twitter posts etc. I like having more then one channel so it gives muns time to reply in character. 

GROUP CHATS 

basically like a group chat - where everyone can talk but you can also have a boys and girls and nb chats, adult and students chats, family chats. 

TEXTS

 this is where one on one texts happen. basically like phone tects. I personally like keeping this channel alphabetical.

where the threads or paras go.

olivier is the third child / second youngest of the oranje-nassau siblings. he hasn’t done much for the family but he’s the military wonder of the family. there has to be one ! he likes his role because truthfully ? he likes sports, he’s been athletic his whole life and he likes just ‘hanging with his bros’. 

he did consider becoming a pilot but then found out how much physics it required and decided to bury that dream !

truthfully ? he hasn’t done much with his life. just chilled in the military and traveled the world, partied, thought about university and always discarded the idea. 

but he has spent the last few years shadowing bastiaan and sorta taking on more responsibilities because his folks are getting older and the oranginas are tight so he wants to do what he can to help femke when she ascends the throne. he doesn’t want to be dead weight and useless.

this new-found responsibility hasn’t changed the way he operates though:

he acts before he thinks, always has, always will. he forgets to be considerate very often, not because he doesn’t care but because he’s too preoccupied by doing stuff and enjoying his life ! he jokes quite a bit but his humour is mean. it’s not light hearted. he also complains a fair amount.

very rare will admit to his faults: if he upset someone, it’s their problem since they took him too seriously or couldn’t take a joke. some people just have a stick up their ass and he shouldn’t suffer because of it.

embarrassingly similar to aurel but where aurel’s more of a golden retriever, olivier is the personification of toxic masculinity and manchildren

he was pressured to come since femke is about to give birth and bastiaan was too busy with his project back in the netherlands. then viggo came and suddenly olivier was interested in coming.

was in a semi-serious relationship with olimpia from 2015 to 2016 or something. dislikes jelani ( and by extension aurel i guess lol ). bffs with viggo.

hey gallagher fam !   admin deanna here with a few announcements : 

first off, now’s your last call for giving us any secrets of your muses that you wouldn’t mind us using in future plot drops. send us a message about it if you’re interested !

as we reach the halfway point of the spring semester, we are going to be closing applications for fourth years beginning monday, march 15. this is purely so nobody is short changed with time when the semester comes to an end...

which brings me to my next point :   as what we did last year, we’re going to be stretching the rest of the spring semester time and making it so it doesn’t end ooc until june  ( exact dates tbd ) ,  when in reality the spring semester ends for the characters in game at the end of may. this is purely to give us enough time for all the fun plot drops we have planned for the rest of the semester, and so there’s less summertime ic, as we are a college rp. keep in mind the dates of all our plot drops and our timeline page to keep up with rp time, since it’s going to be different than real time, which might be confusing. all this means for your threads is you have more time to complete them, so don’t stress !

i know it’s been a crazy time for a lot of people lately, with school and work and feeling the stress of one year since global lockdowns and all that fun stuff, but thank you all for being such loyal and active members and sticking by us throughout everything. this past year would’ve been far more stressful without the gallagher fam, and i hope everyone knows how appreciative we are of all of you. we have a fun plot drop next week to keep an eye out for, and until then if you have any questions or need anything at all, our inbox is always open !

— MALNATI UPDATE!

alrighty friends !! it’s about that time where we rollout another one of our updates && we’re  rather excited for this one !! truly, we wouldn’t be able to do all of these fun things without all of you wonderful members and we couldn’t be more grateful !! that being said, we hope that you’re as excited for all of the new additions in this update as we are !! there’re also some housekeeping things towards the end that we just wanna remind everyone of, and it’s really important to read that section !! okay, i’m starting to ramble, so let’s get on with it:

NEW SUITES: we never imagined in our wildest dreams that we’d be able to run a group of this size, and we are so honored to do so !! with that being said, this will most likely be our final expansion for the malnati hotel as we introduce: FOUR NEW GUEST SUITES. we added new staff suites with the pet daycare plot drop, and we figured we may as well even it out for the guests just for the fun of it. we can now add up to eight new muses to our group, and that is likely as large as we’ll ever be !! we are so thankful for all of you wonderful people for being a part of this group and allowing it to be as grand as it is. we admins never thought we’d get to steer a ship with this many characters and muns, and we’re just so lucky and happy to do it !!

JULY 19th: mark your calendars, y’all !! this is like, an announcement for the announcement, but we did want to get everyone pumped up for something very fun that we have coming this sunday !! an event may or may not be in the works, and there may or may not be some vague emoji reveals coming soon enough as hints for what it just might be... we don’t want to give too much away, but it should be a hoppin’ good time !!

DIVERSITY: as it’s always been, diversity is really important to us, and we’ve been thinking about ways to make this group even better in terms of its diversity. we are updating this post because we did think that a diversity rule would be helpful, but we now have realized thanks to our members who shared their thoughts that it wasn’t the way to go about it and could possibly lead to more harm than good and feel restrictive. we made a mistake, even if our intentions were good, and we truly do see that now and we apologize to all of you for that from the bottom of our hearts. instead of any rule, we are just going to strongly encourage people to take on more diverse muses so long as we as muns feel as though we can and want to. we don’t want to force anyone into writing characters they can not genuinely create, but we’re just encouraging of playing more muses of color, trans and nb muses, body-positive and disabled muses. of course, guides can only help us so much and have their own limitations, but we will be adding links to guides and resources to help educate us to play these characters on the main soon. this is only an encouragement, a suggestion, so please do not feel forced to do anything you are not comfortable with or confident in when it comes to our group. we are here to celebrate diverse muses always, but we do want to make sure moving forward that it’s happening in a way that we feel good about !!

HOUSEKEEPING: now onto the lesser fun stuff: activity && bubble rping. we just wanna talk activity for a sec and remind anyone who may need a semi hiatus or a hiatus ( now or ever ) to please just reach on out to us and ask !! we are always willing to work with you and whatever’s going on to make sure that the group is one less thing you gotta stress about !! we’re super lax and understanding, but for those who may repeatedly pop-up on our activity checks, we will have to start using our strike system and we really do want to avoid that !! we’re also always glad to see everyone interactive && active in the group chat, but being active on the dash is even more important for the success of the group && we really wanna stress that !! we’re not asking everyone to be on the dash every single day, but it’s important to pop in and do some writing both ic and ooc. in terms of bubble rping, this is also something that we have been noticing as of late, and we just wanna touch on that for a moment. we absolutely understand that it can be easier to crank out replies to those established connections or threads we have a lot of muse for, but we are a group rp and it’s really important to both each other as well as our characters that we branch out of those, too !! it’s the only way for this group to shine, and we all very much deserve that cause we really are such a wonderful little rp fam !! there are plenty of open starters and plotting calls to help make it easier to branch out and write with muses and muns that maybe you haven’t yet, and we will continue to do all that we can to help out, too !! you can defs expect more partner tasks && events in the future !! but we also need everyone’s help to make this space as welcoming and inclusive as we know it can be so that no one feels left out, so please consider this a gentle reminder to step outside of any bubble you may potentially be in and write / plot with other muns and muses !! even if it wasn’t a raging, roaring ‘success’ the first time around, why not reach back out and give it another go !! moving forward, for those we continue to see bubble rping, we will have to use our strike system and like we said, we always wanna avoid that !!
