can you outline what fast quueue actually is?

there used to be a button that when you were on Tumblr app and you tapped on it, it automatically queued a post for you (like the reblog button, but instead of reblogging the post immediately, the post got queued and will be automatically posted later, to keep your blog up and running even if you're not online). but yeah you had to go to your settings to manually activate it. it was useful when you saw a post and you wanted to queue it. tumblr's new update took the feature away, already having affected iOS users (but android users can still access fast queue for now, from what I know, it's also still accessible if you're on Tumblr web on your computer/laptop and not the app), because they said it was costing them too much money to run it when not enough users use it (not surprising when the majority of users didn't know it existed).

*you can still queue posts normally, but without the fast queue button, you have to tap reblog, then go to the three meatballs on your top right and select queue. fast queue just made it so much faster and easier

What time period is Brother Bear supposed to be set in? I always thought the movie took place during the Ice Age, but there are still glaciers in Alaska, so probably not the Ice Age. My dad says possibly a couple hundred years ago, but there are mammoths in the film, so probably a bit further back in time than a couple hundred years.

Brother Bear takes place near the end of the ice age, so at least 10 thousand years ago.

And when it comes to mammoths going extinct it really depends on the subspecies and part of the world, the very last ones we have evidende of went extinct in 1650 B.C, so definitely a lot longer than a couple of years ago. But in Alaska it's estimated to be about 12 thousand years ago that the woolly mammoth went extinct based on the fossils that were found.

Attention, small Hiatus!

I'm going to take a small break from Tumblr and other places. I have some health issues to deal with at the moment but pls don't worry, I'll be okay.

@jonsei93 and @heimkoheimkofan , your reply requests sadly will have to wait, I'm not sure when I'll even be able to do them because of what is going on so I have saved your prompts to my PC for a later date.

Secondly my cousin from the Netherlands is visiting next week with her family and we'll be busy catching up and spending time with them.

I might check my feed every once in a while and queue some reblogs if I think about it tho.

For Xavier and Lily!

Name: Lucas (ofc it means Light :P Though they absolutely call him their Little Star as well)

Gender: Male

General Appearance: Blue eyes with gold flecks, blonde hair like Lily’s

Personality: Smart, but can be hard to motivate, generally chill. Never resists nap time, but hates bedtime because he likes how pretty everything is at night. 

Special Talents: 

Communicating without talking

He's a very expressive child, even before he can talk, he manages it make it pretty clear exactly what he wants

Potential Powers: I feel like if he has an EVOL, then it would be similar to Xavier’s Light EVOL, if not just straight up the same EVOL. Lily won't ever admit it out loud, but she's kind of grateful that her child would have his EVOL instead of hers, because having an EVOL best suited for support definitely messed with her self esteem. 

Who they like better: Xavier, since he thinks he's the absolute coolest, and Xavier falls victim to puppy dog eyes a lot easier than Lily does. 

Who they take after more: Pretty even split? Most people think he's practically a mini-Xavier, but Lily’s influence is still definitely there, just harder to notice. He's crafty like her, and shares her habit of mimicking the people he's around / likes. That just means that, as a kid, he ends up mimicking Xavier a lot. He also gets his patience and tact from his mother as well. 

Personal Headcanon: 

He loves helping his parents in the kitchen (and 100% ‘tattles’ if Xavier ends up in the kitchen when Lily isn't looking, unless he's bribed)

Though, he also ‘tattles’ on Lily if she pushes herself too much and does chores or anything when Xavier tells her not to, so it's kept pretty fair

Despite how much he looks up to his parents, and how they're both Deepspace Hunters, he doesn't really want to be a Hunter. He wants to help people, and he loves ‘training’ (play fighting that actually teaches him useful skills too) with his dad, but if asked if he wants to be a Hunter he just kinda… shrugs

Short Bio: Lucas is honestly spoiled growing up, but of course his parents make sure he doesn't end up spoiled rotten. He's not a materialistically needy kid honestly, he just wants to be near at least one of them as much as possible.

Face claim: Here's our regular reminder I don't draw kids very often, in the form of the XaviLily family! :D

I have a headcanon that when Kenai and his brothers were kids, Denahi would often tease Kenai about his relationship with Nita.

Oh, he totally would!

Sitka would probably get in on it, too. Not in a teasing way, though, more in a "So, how about that Nita girl" kinda way, you know? Which is still enough for Kenai to feel embarrassed.
