If I had the attention span and/or writing skills I'd write an Adminsniper 50 shades parody called 50 shades of Purple. I don't actually know the plot of 50 shades (its really boring and i never got past like the fourth chapter) so. Eh.

I'm glad Quackity address the admin/behind the scene issues that were revealed last night so quickly. I wasn't expecting such a quick response, but I'm glad he did.
It's unfortunate that the higher ups in the admin team turned out to be corrupt but it's truly fixable and will help the health of the server so much. I'm honestly excited for the positives that will come out of this. I think the server will be so much better once Quackitys done the rearranging and investigating.
It's also comforting knowing and seeing everyone come out to bat for the admins. The admins are the backbone and heart of the server. They are incredible and deserve nothing less than respect and dignity. It's nice seeing the ccs stand up for them too. Pierre stated that he was already in the process of getting a call arranged with Quackity over some of these issues. I also just know that ccs like Phil, Bad, Etoiles and most of the server would totally stand up for the admins. Phil talked about them getting paid for months and Bad is nothing but supportive of them and wants to work with them constructively.
Idk it's just nice to see an issue come up, see a quick and solid response, and know that it's completely fixable and correctable. Whatever changes Quackity makes will be incredible for the server.

Love Points To You
YA contemporary coming of age
an artist struggling to get used to the idea of moving in with her new stepmother & stepsister can't wait to go away to art school
when her ipad is destroyed, her rich classmate offers to buy her a replacement in exchange for concept art for an otome game she’s developing, and as they work on the game, they start to fall for each other
while she tries to get used to her new family situation, and the fact that her parents seem to be more invested in her stepsister’s future while ignoring hers
bi ace MC, bi demi LI
#Love Points To You#aroaessidhe 2025 reads#asexual books#sapphic books#demisexual books#I thought this was pretty good overall!#It’s very much a coming of age kind of story with as much focus on her family relationship as the romance which I appreciate.#I like how their romance developed pretty casually into dating rather than being all in love all of a sudden#- and all the moments of bonding over otome games and both being acespec and both speaking Mandarin#I like how the conflicts with her stepsister/art rival/family etc were quite grounded and mostly resolved (semi) maturely#and not all overblown into drama despite Lynda’s petty explosive personality.#( and honestly; love some girls who are kinda petty and pretentious and stubborn and oblivious)#That is - until the end she kinda fucks up with everyone and pretty quickly realises she’s in the wrong; I feel like it was a bit overdone?#I understand why she felt and acted that way but it was all very fast paced and a bit of a contrast to the rest of the book#where things were handled with more nuance and maturity.#And oh my god if you found out that a potential investor wants you to change the game’s pairing to straight#why would you not think that’s a dealbreaker? like how could you have any other reaction? I know she realises she was wrong to#react that way pretty much immediately but it felt a little too much like it was there to create a conflict rather than being natural#My favourite part of the book was her developing friendship with her stepsister. made me tear up fr#(this also backtracks a little at the end with the final conflict in a way that felt a little overdone but whatever)#I put some specific art opinions and asexual opinions in my storygraph review (in link above) but a main point for each lol:#She has a sticker shop that’s mentioned a few times but no details…. is this via print or demand or is making/sending them herself#because that's a MASSIVE amount of admin that I'd expect to see depicted in some form. i have experience. lol#Generally speaking I liked the depiction of asexuality she already identifies as such and it’s not brought up all the time#but it does effect how she interacts with the world / thinks about people from time to time#- her dad says “even though you're not interested in dating this applies to you too” & she thinks: “I'm asexual not dead"#- which.. oof. unnecessarily arophobic. I know it’s probably unintentional on the author’s part and I’m used to brushing that aside#- because it’s so common in romance books but I’m gonna be honest it soured my opinion on the rest of the book a bit.#it also felt at odds with her otherwise having various anti-amatonormative thoughts and feelings about various things.#that and the slightly too much conflict in the very end i didn't love but everything else about the book i thought was rly good

Development Questions for Couples: Experimentalshipping, Part 5
Questions used Full backstory Part 4 I'll try to do as many questions as I can for this pairing. If you're curious about other pairings, feel free to send an ask with it plus any questions from the list you'd like me to answer :)
What do they think about commitment? Is a long-term partnership the goal? Are they thinking about building a life with their partner, or are they focused on the present?
For Colress, long-term partnership was a sort of "maybe" goal. Other goals were always more important - not least because a clearly defined science project is much more achievable and predictable than interpersonal relationships - but his idea was that if he found a compatible person he would like to establish a lasting connection, even if the relationship wasn't necessarily romantic. As for commitment, that would come with such a relationship if it turned out to be romantic, but also no sooner than that.
Since Colress dated other people both before and after meeting Ein, he acknowledged from the beginning that it would be unfair of him to demand commitment when he himself wasn't immediately committed. His plan was to see how things would develop and, if they got together, eventually see if he could steer the relationship in a direction where they would either be exclusive or have their boundaries in place and maintain a partnership that would ideally last a lifetime. Essentially, Colress was and still is playing the long game, with a goal in mind but a few alternative plans ready. He's patient enough to be willing to work for results, but he's not someone to bet everything on a "maybe someday"; and he was also aware enough to eventually notice Ein's jealousy and factor that into his calculations. Once Colress learns what's been happening in Orre, with several people trying to "steal" his boyfriend, he's going to start feeling just a little jealous too.
As outlined in previous parts, Ein never considered being someone's partner, long term or not, as a possibility that he could be interested in and so it was only when he noticed that he was having feelings for Colress that he even began thinking about commitment and what he would like. The idea of committing to one person exclusively seemed acceptable to him on one hand, not least because he wasn't interested in other people anyway and liked the thought of fending off unwanted attention with "no thanks, I'm taken" as well as "calling dibs" on his favorite human, but on the other hand it remained a scary prospect to be this invested in someone else, openly and in a manner that would also leave him vulnerable.
Due to this uncertainty and not knowing how to proceed, Ein once again attempted to ignore these questions he should have been asking himself and instead focused on the present - his current level of comfort, to be exact. As things were at the same, he didn't like Colress being with other people, finding himself getting increasingly jealous when he had to share him with others and feeling lonely and left behind whenever his "bestie" went on dates; and so Ein attempted to fix that through sabotage and subterfuge instead of doing the healthy adult thing called open communication. Something bothered him? He tried to find a quick fix. Nevertheless, his behavior somewhat succeeded in getting the point across eventually, which he - surprise, surprise - ended up perceiving as a huge relief once open communication happened.
~
What scares them about entering a relationship?
Colress usually succeeds in making it seem as though he's confident and easygoing when it comes to relationships and to a certain degree you can say he is, with his composed, pragmatic attitude and natural charisma working in his favor, but that's not all there is. Deep down, the prospect of entering romantic relationships is scary for him. The crux of the matter is essentially: High expectations. Though more so for himself than his potential partners. Colress wants to create that one deep and intimate connection, that one space where he can be himself unapologetically without fearing judgement or rejection. And he has long since accepted that he, well, has the tendency to drive a lot of people insane once he stops masking, so whenever someone makes him feel like "this could actually work", he does not, under no circumstances, want to mess this up.
What also scares Colress in general is that the usual outcomes of past relationships could repeat themselves despite his best efforts, including but not limited to him and his partner drifting apart due to changes in interests and hyperfixations or the vibes suddenly being off, as it sometimes goes when humans change over time.
As far as Ein is concerned, pretty much everything about entering a relationship is scary to him. It requires being close to someone, being open and honest with them, allowing them to know him, including all the weird little quirks and imperfections, being perceived in ways he isn't used to and can't always control, being vulnerable in front of someone else, and so on. Ein wasn't used to any of this before meeting Colress, since even his parents know probably no more than approximately 20% of who their son really is. Once Ein's relationship with Colress pretty much naturally progressed in this direction, even without them talking about feelings or officially dating or anything, he found himself in a strange love-hate-push-pull headspace where he began craving this sort of relationship, realizing just how starved he was of such human connection, but also experiencing surges of anger and resentment stemming from fear.
What makes even the most positive and healthy relationship scary for Ein is that he internalized the notion that his worth as a person is entirely dependent on his usefulness and performance. If he's no longer useful to someone or if he isn't useful to them in the first place, failing to achieve what he's supposed to achieve and not meeting their expectations, they don't want him - or so he thinks. It's the reason why Ein usually doesn't even try and pushes everyone away first.
