Can someone explain to me why Aya chose to put an au of gensokyo with the tengu themselves as the villains and credit it to a random outside world author in her attempt of a taboild in Alternative facts in eastern utopia???

Despite just making the post about how fun it is to roast Aya as an Aya Enjoyer, I am also happy to see her grow and learn to be a tiny bit less of a shithead.
Heactia’s interview put the fear of god into that bird and it shows. Imagine having your world view shaken by a goth who dressed her kid up as an American clown fo piss off her girlfriend’s enemies.
I like how she's gotten progressively more of a shithead. Compare how she was in pofv and then later on in ds or afieu (up until the hecatia part). You love to see it.
She was almost a plucky reporter at the start. Her biggest problem, according to eiki, was that she was too inquisitive. People wanted to be interviewed by her. Like yeah, she'd still write exaggerated articles but it wasn't as bad as afieu. She wasn't terrible, most of her lines are pretty neutral and not all that interesting, save for her convo with eiki.
She's such a little shit (I also like how raw eiki's dialogue is).
But if we move to afieu, things only get worse..
I don't think hecatia put enough fear of god into her. She should do it again. It'd be funny.
Just a little more should be good.
I think it'd help.
Not just her but everyone.

dear miss himekaidou,
i unfortunately have not been employed. so, i’ve been working on a few journalist articles, mostly as practice for my skills in case i ever decide to go into the practice and im worried that the articles i’ve been making aren’t of high quality.
how do you manage? i know such insecurities might be common in a profession such as yours, so…. any advice?
yours, eientei’s favorite kon-consultant
"Trust me, to start off- a great journalist is one that already is thinking about the quality of their work and doesn't shut their brain off for ideas. So I think you're off to a good start! It's hard, because while it's a job- you aren't gonna like, be able to push for the great caste system revolution- I mean hard-hitting journalism all of the time. Sometimes you're gonna get stuck with 'Pick your favourite wagashi and we'll tell you your personality!'"
"Buuut, I think there's something to learn from each article you write- even if you scrap them, you need only look. For example, I- loathe as I am to say it- did do such pitiful writing as that article- but the person that requested it also offered a coupon for a senbei stand… 'Dorayaki lovers are hot headed and there's more to them that meets the eye- but they can get caught up in their own world, so they should try some senbei!' 'Senbei lovers go with the flow, but don't pursue their own wants, so they should buy some more senbei!' I'm kinda curious, if I ran that article a week later, would I get a different result? There's a buncha conclusions and thoughts you could ask about the journalism even in such a 'low-quality' article."
"I've been talking with that outside world human, and everything down to 'memes' and 'tagging systems' can show different sides of a story and the intentions of an article. Liiiike, there was this one time this crazy village man, Yoshimoto- he started raving about 'how there was some chemical the yamawaro were putting to turn the frogs into youkai'- and some newbie that wanted a week off just handed him a typewriter for him to start his rantings. But then when I actually used my thoughtography to check that river…well, he wasn't wrong? Sorta. The frogs were having extra legs- but when I wanted to write about it, up top said 'It's already been covered'. But it hadn't been. Not properly."
"So how could I word it? I mean, 'Yamawaro machinery production found to have linkage in extra limbage of amphibian population'- bo~ring! What about '3 ramblings of Yoshimoto- Number 3 is suprisingly true!' and I slap a couple memes on it? Would that draw eyes? Is Yoshimoto actually concerned, or was this coverage intentionally from a crazy old geezer to discredit a potential problem?"
"These are like, the hard stuff that comes with our industry- especially if you don't get the freedom to go independent. But I know that by asking, you're off to a great start. You have to be asking questions, every time- how can I see this differently? How can I write this differently? How are -other- people writing stuff differently? What's language that's 'hip', what language is alienating? Seriously, can Aya stop using red circles and arrows in her articles like [Mii]Tube thumbnails?!"
"Not everything is gonna be a magnum opus, and not every wagashi listicle is gonna be the lynchpin into your socialist uprising theory deprogramming toolkit- and that's okay. As long as you put questioning and engagement- actual encouragement of media literacy- at the forefront of your own work and viewership, I think that's more work than a lot of other grifter sheeple are doing. There's more than meets a camera's eye, and as long as you keep collecting, I know you'll become someone that will paint a better landscape for Gensokyou- so get your brush, and crow all you want, mmkay?"

oh yeah, ftr i Will get more art drawn eventually, but i will not lie, it may not be the art you're expecting or wanting (not in a malicious way just like. i like drawing crossovers with my other interests :V)
like my other piece ideas are hoder-related artpiece, a larger vala-related PV project that i want to draft out better before showing like. anything about it, and a thing where mickey mouse actually interacts with apprentice nort more directly.
'also the thing where you sincerely think ansemsod was talking about /vexen/ being a traitor infinitely moreso than saix based on the lines from luxord re: vexen in pirates.' well the thing is, i'm always thinking about that. just based on everything that happens and how down low saix remains, it's the most reasonable conclusion.
but like mentioned, all of thoooose are like. big projects where i need to actually learn how to make sequential art. so you're getting crossover art first.

Ever since Clarste stopped answering asks I have become the most knowledgeable touhou poster. All others are clad in the folly of fanworks, I alone maintain a pure mind, free of thinking about Aka Yakumo or that the characters are getting older and Akyuu is about to die. I am unsullied, full of only righteous wisdom- I sound like if Zamasu was a touhou nerd

dreamt I had a tengu boyfriend (who may or may not have been transmasc) with who we were futzing around and messing during (unspecified, I don’t remember anymore) challenges. he also ‘had’ a girlfriend but that’s irrelevant
the emotions I felt upon waking up are nameless and unquantifiable but damn, my mind was cooking something

does hecatia have any actual duties as goddess of hell, like the admnistration, or does she just do fuckall all day because she's the boss and she can do what she wants
nope! she's not part of the bureaucracy of hell at all. she's "a goddess of hell", not "the goddess of hell", for one thing - we can assume there's a lot of other afterlife deities still down there too. hecate isn't even the major underworld deity of the myths she's from, after all
anyway, as she notes in her afieu interview, hecatia's not involved in the stuff that the yama are doing. she actually specifically notes it's a kind of reactionary movement by them to re-establish order from the chaos of the anarchic "might-makes-right" hell. her stance is more-or-less "sure, whatever" about it, but she definitely doesn't work for them. she definitely does do fuckall all day though

okay I wanted to make a post about hecatia and marisa because hekate reigns over sorcery, magic, witchery, and knowledge of poisonous herbs and plants
but I have been sidetracked.
apparently she also reigns over necromancy (hello seiga? and keiki if you squint non-euclideanally), ghosts (does she know yuyuko?), crossroads and entryways
which. really clears up how she did what she did in lolk and afieu. but it's still cool!!! I wonder what the extent of her knowledge is when it comes to the hakurei barrier
(which is essentially powerless against her I suppose?)

But isn't Hecatia Eiki's superior?
Eiki says something to that effect in WaHH (or maybe I mistranslated it?) but in AFiEU Hecatia makes it extremely clear that she doesn't see herself as connected to the Ministry in any way, and in fact sees their goals as sort of foolish and misguided.
The way I see it, the Ministry has control over a relatively tiny corner of Hell, but sees themselves as the "True Hell" for ideological reasons. But Hell is far older than the Ministry, and Hecatia takes the longer-term view of it, where they are just the latest bubble rising up in a sea of chaos.

Zounose's work is fun because as a naive new fan you'll be like oh nobody in Touhou is that casual about that are they. It's just exaggerated for comedy.
And then maybe if you're lucky you'll read AFiEU and you'll go oh ok.

as unreasonable as it is, i want more official hatate content. i want her and aya to interact more. i want her in more games even if it doesn't make sense, even if she doesn't go outside. fds wasn’t enough (they didn’t really interact in fds). I want to see them bicker and hate each other. I want to see what megumu thinks of her and what the rest of the tengu think of her. more than afieu. I want more tengu. I think they’re neat .
