Guess who's likely going to wake up with a shiner tomorrow?
I was putting together a thinking while I have a toy exercise for Forte - intending for him to work on backside jumps with distance for a tug. Forte saw the tug under my arm and the bar jump and decided to offer taking the jump. The problem was that I was still in the middle of setting the bar so he smashed into the side of my face.
Oh well, having a super motivated dog means some times getting behaviors without asking for them. Rip to my left eye though.
#dogblr#forte#belgian tervuren#dog agility#dog training#it still smarts#i put ice on it shortly after it happened#but it looks/feels like it will visibly bruise#at least i have Friday and Monday off#and am planning on fucking off to the woods with the dogs#so i shouldn't run into too many people

X-men but. It’s Spiderverse but also- it’s focused around Professor X/telepath users-type characters 😙😙😙
Already got ideas for who’s who:
a teenage Madelyne Pryor (AKA goblin queen/Jean Grey’s clone) is Miles (could of just made them Jean but I didn’t want to hajhahjahggfg)
mentally not okay/at first still drug addicted D.O.F.P! Charles is in Peter B’s place
a variant of Scott who gained Jean’s powers after her death as Spider! Gwen Stacey
Raven/Mystique who was reformed but then somewhat went back to her old ways as uncle Aaron/Prowler (idk how that would work, maybe she was put in charge or volunteered to look after Madelyne :/)
& old Charles would be in the slot of the Peter from Miles timeline AKA he dies, therefore setting Madelyne up for her arc as Miles had in the movie 👍
not sure who the other Spider People or the villains would be,,,
idk what this whole idea is, I just want more main character Madelyne Pryor Stuff ig mfggjhhgdffdeebb 😙
#bullshit to keep me going ♾️✨#X-men#X-men comics#X-men movies#marvel Madelyne Pryor#Marvel goblin queen#Marvel Charles Xavier#marvel professor x#marvel scott summers#marvel cyclops#marvel movies#marvel comics#marvel#Woo another a.u idea lmao 😊🫠#Luv thinking of this kind of stuff hahja it’s just that posting it & probably not getting anyones attention about it isss 😐😥#Angbggggg I’d have it be that Madelyne & Jean were twins but then Jean died when they were both quite young so Mady’ doesn’t rlly remember-#Her & I’d also have it that Madelyne doesn’t have psychic powers at first#The only reason she was at the X mansion is bc she showed signs of slightly increased strength + agility & also they did a test on her &-#Found the X genes within her#soooo basically they were waiting for her mutation to show itself but it only did after the Charles of her timeline died bc of extreme-#Stress + flight or fight response when she was accidentally caught in the hero vs villain henchman fight in whatever device the main villai#Planning on using for…. Whatever idk hgnnhhh#I’m still figuring out what I wanna do with this A.U idea :^^#Marvel mystique#Marvel raven darkholme#madelyne pryor#charles xavier

He's actually fairly confident that he has a chance of winning this. After all, his style of fighting tends to be advantageous against Fisette's, and he's managed to surprise her and get the upper hand before...nobody said that he couldn't fight a little bit dirty, after all.
"Kadios, ya can put 'er down for ten minutes while ya finish up yer duel, can't ya? It ain't like she's gonna go 'nywhere! If ya forfeit this 'cause yer too busy canoodlin', then 'm countin' this 's my win!"
"Can't be your win if ya ain't my opponent 'n the first place, Fie, quit naggin' me 'lready! B'sides, who said 'm plannin' t' drop out 'n the first place?"
...Though seeing how riled up she was about this, Aro just knew she wasn't going to be pulling any-- ...huh? Was someone watching him? He could've sworn he felt eyes on his back...
#[Aro -commentary-]#[Fisette -commentary-]#[Kadios -commentary-]#[Royalty verse]#Don't get me wrong here the fight between Fie and Aro would be closer than you might think#in part because yes. Aro isn't as upstanding here and absolutely will fight dirty if he has an opening to#which is something Fie is somewhat susceptible to#because she fights in a very straightforward and somewhat predictable manner#but she hits like a truck too so like...if you don't have the agility to back up your plan she'll wreck you before you even have a chance#Kade on the other hand probably had to check with Morgan to make sure ' 'S okay if I don' hold back against Cari right? Ya won't be upset?'

Here's a challenge for dog agility folks!
This is one of the current games for the International Dog Agility League. Which is a great program that I highly recommend! You join a team, film the monthly courses, and submit them to earn points and titles, and compete against teams all over the world.
This game is called Copycat. And I have a challenge for you: how would you handle this for your dog? Not for a hypothetical perfect, fast dog who can do distance sends. YOUR dog, with their strengths and weaknesses.
The thing that makes this tricky is the rules of the game:
You must use the start and finish lines
You are trying to earn as many points as possible in 45 seconds
You may perform each obstacle twice to earn points
Jumps are worth 1 point
Tunnel and tire are worth 3 points
Contacts and weaves are worth 5 points
Obstacles must be performed correctly for points. Hit the contacts, don't knock the bars, perform the weaves correctly. An incorrectly performed obstacle is a waste of time.
No copycatting! This means that you cannot perform two obstacles with the same point value in a row. This means no going back over the same obstacle, no two jumps in a row, no tunnel to tire, no teeter to weaves, etc.
So what's your course plan? What obstacles are you ignoring because your dog isn't good on them, or takes too long? What's your path like? Are you sending your dog out? Is your dog slow? Fast? Are you going to try to do every obstacle twice? Do you think you can really get them all done in 45 seconds following the rules about no "copycatting"?
#dog sports#dog agility#agility#agility courses#agility challenges#I can post more interesting courses and sequences if there's any interest in this sort of thing#Anyway I just could NOT get a good plan together for this one#Like the teeter facing that direction kept ruining my plans lol

What Do Project Management Consultancy Services Actually Do? The Answer May Surprise You
When most people hear the term project management consultancy services, they assume it's all about timelines, task lists, and perhaps a few team meetings. But in reality, the role of project management consultants is far more impactful — and often underestimated.
Today’s business environment is defined by rapid change, increasing complexity, and fierce competition. In this climate, the ability to execute strategic initiatives smoothly and successfully is no longer a luxury — it’s a necessity. That’s where professionals like the Cognitude project management consulting services team step in. Their role goes far beyond traditional project tracking. They embed themselves into your business to transform your vision into results, often becoming the engine that drives sustainable growth.
So, what do these consultants actually do? Let’s uncover the real value of project management consulting services and why their contribution may be far greater than you think.
1. Strategic Project Planning and Scope Definition
At the foundation of every successful project lies strategic planning. Project management consultancy services don’t just manage what you already have — they help shape the entire project from the ground up. This includes defining project objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and success metrics.
The Cognitude project management consultancy services team applies industry-specific frameworks to ensure your project isn’t just well-planned but fully aligned with business goals.
2. Risk Identification and Mitigation
Project risk is inevitable — but it’s manageable with the right expertise. Consultants use proven methods to perform detailed risk assessments early in the project lifecycle. They create contingency plans, allocate risk reserves, and monitor for red flags throughout execution.
Cognitude project management consulting services help organizations avoid budget overruns, schedule delays, and scope creep by anticipating problems before they occur.
3. Execution Support and Resource Management
One of the biggest values that project management consultancy services offer is hands-on execution support. They coordinate teams, manage vendors, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure tasks are delivered on time and to specification.
Efficient use of resources is a key factor in project success. By leveraging Cognitude project management consultancy services, companies can ensure that human, technological, and financial resources are utilized optimally without overburdening internal teams.
4. Agile and Scalable Project Delivery
In the modern world, agility is essential. Consultants are trained in methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Lean, and hybrid models that enable faster iteration, stakeholder feedback loops, and greater flexibility.
The Cognitude project management consulting services team implements scalable delivery frameworks, helping organizations handle both one-time initiatives and long-term project portfolios with equal effectiveness.
5. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Strategy
Stakeholder misalignment is a silent killer of projects. That’s why project management consultancy services prioritize communication planning as a core function. They identify key stakeholders, define their expectations, and establish communication protocols that keep everyone informed.
Cognitude project management consultancy services are known for creating transparent, timely, and customized stakeholder reporting mechanisms that drive trust and accountability.
6. Performance Monitoring and Real-Time Reporting
Using dashboards, KPIs, and automated reporting systems, consultants track performance metrics to ensure everything stays on course. Real-time data empowers leadership to make better decisions quickly.
Cognitude project management consulting services don’t just tell you how your project is doing — they show you, with full transparency and evidence-based insights.
7. Governance and Compliance Assurance
For industries where compliance and documentation are critical, project management consultancy services introduce governance models that meet regulatory standards. They help prepare audit trails, document deliverables, and adhere to industry-specific frameworks such as ISO, ITIL, or PMBOK.
Cognitude project management consultancy services support businesses in maintaining integrity and compliance while still moving quickly.
8. Post-Project Analysis and Organizational Learning
The value of a project doesn’t end at delivery. Consultants conduct post-project evaluations to assess what went right, what didn’t, and how future projects can improve. These insights are used to build internal capabilities and repeatable frameworks for long-term success.
Cognitude project management consulting services enable organizations to evolve and grow through continuous learning and refinement.
9. Customization for Industry and Company Size
Unlike a one-size-fits-all approach, consultants tailor their strategies based on your industry, company maturity, and team dynamics. Whether you’re a fast-growing startup or a multinational enterprise, Cognitude project management consultancy services deliver customized support that fits your structure, budget, and objectives.
10. Driving Measurable Business Impact
Ultimately, consultants help drive results that matter. From reduced delivery times and lower costs to improved stakeholder satisfaction and increased agility, their impact touches every aspect of business performance.
The reason Cognitude project management consulting services are considered essential by leading organizations is simple — they make sure your strategy becomes reality, with minimal risk and maximum efficiency.
Final Thoughts
Far from being just task managers, today’s project management consultancy services act as strategic enablers. They bring together structure, agility, leadership, and clarity — turning complex projects into repeatable successes.
If you’ve ever wondered whether these services are worth the investment, consider this: the cost of failed or delayed projects is often far greater than the cost of expert guidance. Teams like Cognitude project management consulting services not only deliver projects but also empower businesses to grow, scale, and lead with confidence.

Guess what dummy got professionally filmed today and didn't realize that was going to happen until about 15 minutes beforehand?
Me.
My boss sent out an email a week ago saying we were going to be filming media content today. It outlined dress and appearance and what she wanted us to be doing. (For me it was agility stuff with Forte.)
I really thought it was going to be her videoing us doing stuff for social media on her phone. Turns out she hired a professional to film content for the website.
To be fair to me, she has been on a social media kick lately and I just thought we, collectively, weren't giving her enough so she was setting time aside for that. If I had realized it was for the website I'd have brought a spare company sweatshirt to change into and taken more time with my hair. Instead I had muddy paw prints on my sweatshirt because someone left a water bucket in with a puppy and he was soaked when I took him out for training. I also just had my hair up because ya know - working, but it wasn't nicely styled or anything.
Bonus points for me hastily putting together a course and running it perfectly with Forte in practice. Only to trip over my own feet and dump treats all over the floor on the first obstacle. Thankfully we got a second take but man it was embarrassing.
#dogblr#forte#belgian tervuren#dog agility#hopefully it turns out okay#but i was absolutely not expecting that today#also everyone else save for one other person knew what was actually planned#and i only clued in when i heard my boss teasing said other person for not realizing#rip to us i guess#on the upside#we all agreed that one of the dogs used should be a foster dog who comes to training#because she's an awesome dog and we hope to draw some interest in adoption

Scrum, Actually: Fixing the Daily Catch-Up
We called it a “daily catch-up.”It felt more like a group panic disguised as a status update.Nobody knew why we were doing it—just that we had to. Then I read the Scrum Guide.Turns out, we were doing it wrong. Here’s how we fixed it. The first time I experienced a Daily Scrum, I thought it was a job interview. Every day. For the same job. That I already had. At 9:30 AM, we’d gather like…

The problem, Elia reflected between tight and gasping breaths, was that she never took enough time for herself. She just kept saying “yes” to people when she really ought to be saying “no.” It was that damned empathy of hers. Her father always said it was her curse. Elia could take one look in someone's pleading face and find herself agreeing to grade papers over her birthday, run a three-hour errand, babysit overnight, or — to give the most recent example — agree to steal a priceless amulet from the bedroom of Lord Cathryn during his inaugural ball.
The theft, of course, had happened without a hitch. The problem — and reason she was now fleeing for her life — had come after. The amulet, one she had been assured was merely a mundane family keepsake stolen during the Meruvian War, contained an elemental. She had not prepared for a thrice-cursed storm elemental.
Elia leapt over the low wall marking the furthest edge of Lord Cathryn’s estate. Here, old forest grew over and around the wall transforming it from a sign of the Cathryn family’s prowess to a harbinger of their hubristic demise. A demise now most assuredly come given the wreckage behind her. Crouched against the mossy stone and hidden in the shadows of ancient trees, Elia attempted to breathe. The effort was rather more bothersome than she would have liked. Her quiet life in the academy had made her soft.
Beyond the wall, a storm howled. The elemental made no distinction among people. As the holder of the amulet, she was as culpable as those who had imprisoned and used it. Explanations and reason did not matter. Elia pressed her forehead against the cool stone wall as her mind raced. She could neither run nor hide forever. The elemental would catch her. And, when it did, the crater it had made of Cathryn Hall would seem a mercy.
She had only one move to make. Gods help her; she almost preferred death.
Elia bit the edge of her thumb until it bled. She’d bought every protection spell she could find to ensure she never bled. Even her monthlies were only a memory. No blade nor stone nor living nor nonliving thing could harm her. Except herself.
A scarlet bead bubbled at the base of her nail. The tiny drop both saved and damned her.
Her betrothed was coming.
The betrothal then, much like her actions now, had been an act of desperation. Back then it had been the rather tricky matter of a long-lost pearl, a grief-mad mage, a demonic sea-lord, and a blood fae. Between the mage intent on using her to resurrect his lost love and a sea-lord claiming her as his pet to deny the mage his reunion, an alliance with the blood fae had seemed the best escape. She gave him the pearl; he gave her a door out of there.
He had not, however, explained that she could only use his portal if his magic recognized her as bound to him. At that exact moment, with the portal open and waiting, the mage had finished his working. Elia's life began evaporating from her skin.
“I gave you the pearl!” she’d yelled.
“And I gave you a door.” He'd marked it with a bow. “Now what will you give me to walk through it?”
The sea-lord had then flooded the room, cutting off the working, but filling her lungs. She'd coughed up saltwater and gasped, “Anything.” Details hadn’t mattered. Only living had.
The blood fae bit her and they'd both fallen through the door.
Only later did she realize his manipulations. The fae was no mere bloodling, but rather was Daaven Eranyvetri, the heir of the Crosswise Court. He could have ended the conflict with the mage and sea-lord with a snap of his fingers. Instead, he’d chosen to entrap her. She still didn't know why.
Their door had opened into the open court room of his family’s holdings. There among the tittering courtiers, he’d dragged her — hand still bleeding — to his mother’s throne and declared her his betrothed.
In retrospect, she should have allied with the sea-lord.
"Dearest," Daaven said, appearing eye-level before her. He combed his long fingers through her falling-down hair, "you've been hiding from me."
She shuddered. "Can you stop the elemental?"
Daaven stood and stretched. The fine silks of his coat wafted warm incense as he moved. She hated how well it settled her rabbiting heart. Three months she'd lived in his court before she'd found a way to escape. During that time, she'd never named them betrothed, had never accepted his gifts, and had never granted him her kiss. That had been why she could escape as she did.
With a sketch of his hand, the howling winds quieted and the pelting rain slowed. The storm was not gone; he'd simply enclosed the two of them within a bubble of time.
"One minute," he announced. "Why should I not simply leave once those seconds pass?"
She glared up at him, hating the smug line of his lips and flat light of his emerald eyes. "I'm your betrothed."
His eyes widened, and he swallowed. "Are you? Wives-to-be don't typically run away and hide for five years."
Her nails bit into her palms. "You tricked me."
"And yet you're calling on that trick now." He knelt so that they were eye-level. Urgency limned his every word. "Fifteen seconds. You know the rules. Say it again and seal it with a kiss." He drew a dagger and nicked his lower lip: a gift of blood and all the protection and promises that represented.
She stared at him and the bead of blood welling on his lips. If she kissed him, if she accepted his gift, she could never run again.
"Seven seconds."
Lightning cracked overhead, stretching line by line like a claw toward her. Death was waiting. Fine. If she had no choice, she could at least even the scales.
Elia smeared blood from her thumb onto her lips and surged to meet his. A gift for a gift. When she pulled back, she had no time to ponder the strange relief in his gaze. "I am your betrothed."
"And I am yours," he responded, pulling her into another kiss, accepting the gift, granting the kiss, binding himself to her as tightly as she was now bound to him. That meant something; she didn't know what yet. The bubble of time popped. A deafening roll of thunder cut to silence.
"My Elia," he murmured, smearing their blood with his thumb over her lips and corner of her mouth. "We have so much to discuss." He wrapped his other arm around her, tugging her flush against his chest. Her nose pressed into his collar and that cursedly calming resin-honey-woodsmoke scent of his.
Light flashed. And they were gone.
