I was using bsd wiki bc I wanted Dazai’s height

And the wiki holds the weights for the characters

Dazai currently in cannon weighs 67kg(149 lbs)

It shows in dark era he weighed 54kg (119 lbs)

He gained 13 kg over the four years in the light. He's gained weight because he's away from a places where food is probably something earned or when he used to not eat as much

Btw akutagawa weighs 50kg (110lbs) he's 12kg(28lbs) under average weight(in japan) he needs to be fed. Akutagawa only weighs 10 more kg than Kyoka, and she's still growing. Chuuya weighs 10kg heavier than akutagawa, it's no wonder why oda could pick up akutagawa like a couple grapes in dark era as he probably weighed even less then.

No wonder all the pm ppl sticks they don't get fed.

KEJI WEIGHS MORE THAN FUCKING AKUTAGAWA, A FOURTEEN YEAR OLD WEIGHS MORE THAM A 20 YEAR OLD MAN.

Anyways we as a fandom need to start a canned food drive for the pm they are underweight.

Yeah also I think it's neat we know how heavy the characters are it helps with like body shape drawings and logistics in fic writing.

I also think it's a nice detail that dazai has gained weight since the pm since he can probably eat more frequently now, or is getting reliable food. (Chuuya is 3kg lighter than dazai for a fun fact)

-He somehow gets Kunikida to buy the medicine for him. Maybe some convincing lies, and few casual mentions of extortion. 🥲

-You’d be lying in bed like “Honey I need medicine I’ll be fine on my own for a while; can you go buy it?” And dudes like “Nah, we’re getting free delivery service from Kunikida.” 😘

-He’d feed you your medicine and food, and call you ‘good girl’ when you swallow. My mind just went somewhere else if you know what I mean

-Still very annoying

“Awwwwww, my poor baby is sick.” DAZAI mocked. He pinched your cheeks playfully. “Maybe I’d get to skip work, taking care of you.”

“Shut up.” You grumbled, attempting to throw a pillow at him. He cooed at you for a while, annoying you even more. “Osamu, please stop being a dick for once and buy me medicine.” You broke off in another coughing fit. To that response, Dazai smirked. “Tsk tsk tsk, my dear belladonna, why waste our own time, money, and energy when we can waste other’s?”

“Because,” you responded scathingly, “We aren’t parasites, living off of other peoples expenses. Or I’m not. Maybe you are. Like a leech or something. Sucking other peoples money, time and energy. You’re the embodiment of a parasite.” Dazai gasped, pretending to be stabbed in the gut. Dramatically, he fell to the living room floor, feigning hurt.

“Belladonna! You think this lowly of me?! Oh, the pain you have inflicted upon my poor soul…” You snorted to cover up your laugh. Dazai caught that, and smiled. He stood up, and kissed you on the forehead.

“Goodness! You’re burning up! Sorry sweetie, I have a small phone call to make. Be back in a few!” And he waltzed off towards the kitchen. A couple of minutes later, he returned with a cup of tea and some blankets.

“Medicine is on the way here. Make sure you sound like you’re dying when I open the door. Kunikida is very irritated today. In the meantime, have some tea and I’ll put on a movie. Anything in particular you’d like to watch, Bella?”

CHUUYA NAKAHARA

-Saying he overreacted is an understatement 😨😰

-He probably impulsively spent a lot of money on expensive medicine and stuff that’ll make you feel better 🫡🫡

-You’d be his world, and he’s the major satellite revolving around you

-Personally called Mori to explain why he can’t go to work

-He’d carry you everywhere even to use the bathroom 😭

The moment you told CHUUYA you were sick, he instantly called Mori to tell him he couldn’t go to work.

“Blankets, stuffed animals, food, name it I’ll get it.” He said.

“Chuu, I only have a cold.”

“No. I’m not dismissing this. I’ll get you that plushie you wanted last week… actually, I’ll get my subordinates to get it for you. I’m not leaving your side.” He stated firmly. He picked you up bridal style, ignoring your protests, and gently set you in bed, covering you with a blanket.

“Wait here, princess, I’ll get the fluffy blanket you love. Oh and throw pillows. Do want your iPad, laptop, or phone? Never mind I’ll get them all… TV too.” He hurried out of the room before you could stop him. He returned, holding a giant fluffy blanket. You fought back the urge to laugh. He looked so silly, carrying a pile of fluffy fabric. His arms barely wrapped around it, and he looked tinier than ever. He placed it on the bed, spreading it out. He set down your phone too, he turned to get your laptop too before you coughed.

“Are you okay? How are you feeling, shit I forgot about medicine. Right… cough syrup…” He started listing medicine. Chuuya put a show on for you, then went to cook for you. Several times the doorbell rang, it was his subordinates delivering the medicine and other shit he bought for you.

“Chuuya, this is so expensive!” You protested.

“It’s to make you feel better.” He said severely, spooning mash potatoes into your mouth. You were surrounded by plushies, candles, blankets, and throw pillows.

“Oh Chuuya, you being here is just enough for me. I love you so much; you’re the best boyfriend ever.” His face lit up and went to kiss you, then you stopped him, reminding him that you were sick, and that you were currently trying to chew mashed potatoes.

So much for a romantic moment.

YOSANO AKIKO

-Finally a person who knows what she is dealing with

-I mean she’s a doctor of course she knows

-She’d cuddle with you to make you feel better 🥰🥰🥰

-Huge chance that she already has medicine in her house, but if she doesn’t, she probably would threaten Dazai to buy them for her, and she’d pay him back, but Dazai gets either Kunikida or Atsushi to do it and just takes the money 💀

-Yosano would cook your favourite meal, and sternly but affectionately tell you you can’t have ice cream 🫶🫶🫶

-Cares about you very much, but maybe will still go to work

-She’ll send someone to take care of you!! [See: threaten]

YOSANO frowned.

“You’re sick, you say?” She questioned, concerned. She touched your forehead then checked your temperature. Her face relaxed, then she gently patted you on the head and said,

“Don’t worry, it’s just a cold.” I’ll go check if we have medicine. In the meantime, make yourself comfortable.” You nodded glumly, and she smiled, reaching out to cup your cheeks.

“Awwwww, sweetheart, don’t pout. Here, I’ll carry you.”

“I love you so much.” So Yosano carried you too bed, tucked you in and kissed you on the forehead.

“If you need anything, call me.”

“Okay. Thank you.” She left the room, and you found yourself drifting off until you heard Yosano talking in the living room. It sounded like she was threatening to mutilate someone. Something about medicine and money. Such a loving girlfriend I have, you thought affectionately, recalling how she hugged you, and her scent. You fell asleep, and when you woke up, it was already time for dinner.

“Good evening, my sleeping beauty.” You looked up to find Yosano sitting on the bed, grinning down at you.

“Mornin, love.” You responded groggily. Yosano chuckled.

“Say ‘ahhhh’ for me, darling.” You did what she told you, and she fed you food. Your eyes widened.

“My favourite! Thank youuuu.”

“No problem, sweetheart.” Yosano fed you the rest of your meal, then told you she had the medicine ready. She fed you some, and you made a face and nearly threw up.

“No offense but this tastes like shit.”

“I see you’ve got your attitude back. That’s good. You should be fully recovered in a day or so. And one small question, love. How do you know what shit tastes like?”

That shut you up real quick. You drank the rest of the medicine without complaint. Eventually, Yosano started reading to you.

“Kiss me, you fool!” She cried in a silly voice. She was quite good at reading sad romance novels. You smiled mischievously and leaned in. She smiled too, and before you could talk-

“Shhhh, I’m not going to catch your cold, don’t worry,” she whispered. She tipped your chin up to look at her, then she kissed you.

Catching you purge

You two had just finished eating dinner on your couch when you promptly excused yourself to the bathroom. He looks up at your standing form with suspicious eyes, but doesn't say anything and lets you wander off towards the bathroom.. just until he hears choking and coughing coming from your shared restroom.

You let out a gasp of surprise as you hear the bathroom door open with a loud bang. Fuck, did you really forget to lock it? You pull the end of your toothbrush out the back of your throat and turn around to face your loving boyfriend with tears in your eyes, who had a look of pity on his face.

He groans in exasperation, "Dove.. didn't I tell you to stop doing that?" He asks, his time filled with faux sympathy as he picks the toothbrush out of your hand, placing it back in the holder. All you can do is sigh.. he just didn't get it. "Kolya, I wish it was that easy, but it's not. It's really, really not."

"Oh please, excuses excuses." He mutters, pulling you to your feet before closing the toilet lid and flushing your dinner down the drain. "C'mon, let's get you some more food." Pulling you out of the bathroom by the arm, he drags you to the kitchen and sits you down on the floor.

"Kolya.. no.. I don't need anything else. I don't want anything else." You grumble while he digs in the fridge and pantries. "Well, you just threw up all the nutrients I gave you.. so we gotta get at least a little bit more in you." He smiles, sitting down in front of you with his legs crossed. He placed a bowl of applesauce in front of you, lifting up the spoon to your mouth. "Say aahh.." he giggles, and you begrudgingly open your mouth.

Once the bowl is finished, he places it in your sink and looks down at you with a serious edge in his eyes. "Now.. bathroom is off limits for.. let's say an hour. Cmon, I'll tuck you in."

Poe

He had just finished cooking dinner and had placed your portion in front of you, before sitting across from you and staring down at his own meal. Poe had never eaten much himself.. but tried to start eating more to be a good example when you told him about your 'mia.

You wanted to cry. You knew you were either going to shove this all down your throat in five minutes or you weren't going to eat any of it, and you knew he knew. "My love.." He starts, his voice soft. "Can you try? Just a small bite?" He mumbles, reaching across the table and piercing a piece of broccoli on your fork, holding it up to you.

You took a deep breath, and took the fork from him, placing the food in your mouth. You tried, so, so hard. You placed the dirk down while you were chewing, making sure to go slow and take your time tasting the food.

Slowly, with his help, you finished your meal in what you two would call a normal length, around fifteen minutes, but everything inside of you told you to runaway towards the bathroom, stick the back of a toothbrush down your throat and rid yourself of all these calories. "I'll be right back, Ed." Clearing your throat, you stand up and walk towards the restroom.

You heard him sigh and his hand caught your arm, causing you to turn around and face him. You let out a huff as he pulls you down onto his lap, his arms wrapping around your waist and keeping you there "I know what you're going to do." His voice was soft, and gentle, you hated & loved it at the same time. It comforted you but it also made you feel so.. small, like you can't take care of yourself.

All you could find yourself able to do was lean into his touch, muttering a thank you while you rest your head on his chest.

Dazai

I fucking hate him so much I want him dead I hope the next attempt works Dazai

You were on the kitchen floor, stuffing your face with the pan of brownies you had made last night. You had already downed a bottle of milk, a loaf of plain bread, dry oats shoved into your mouth by the handful, anything you could think of. You wanted, no, needed, as much as you could get.

You jump as you hear a key turn in the front door, followed by the door opening and closing before Dazai stood above you, a look of disappointment on his face, and was that.. disgust? You knew people thought bulimia was disgusting, but him? Really? Your loving boyfriend?

"Okay, bella. Let's get this cleaned up." He sighs, pulling you to your feet. You were frozen, you just stood there as tears welled in your eyes from the humiliation and guilt. You needed the throw up. You pushed past him and sprinted towards the bathroom, only to be caught by the waist halfway there.

"No, no, no." He tuts, pulling your back against his chest. "There's no need for that. Remember what I said about needing that throat to be ready? Yeah, it's not gonna be if you're vomiting." He looks at you with a sickly sweet smile and all you wanted to do was collapse on the floor and sob but his arms kept you there.

Eventually, he pulled you down onto the floor with him so you sat on his lap as he whispered sweet nothing's in your ear, while you cried wishing you could just vanish.

Life in the slums was not pleasent to say the least. But atleast you had him.

Ryunosuke Akutagawa The Silent Rabid Dog

Yes he was as emotoinless as a dead body but he was a good friend who saved you too many times to if you could count you felt like you atleast should give him something in return that thing being your friendship. Even if he made it look like he couldn't care less about you.

"Akutagawa-kun do you a sweet potatoe we got a big enough paycheck for everyone!" You smile to him.

"....Sure." He says as blankly as ever he takes the potatoe.

"Here take another and give it to Gin-chan as well!" You give him another potatoe.

"I'm gonna go now see you later Akutagawa-Kun!" You then run off somewhere. That place being your source of money. A brotherhood of assasins. Yes maybe everytime you went into the less than grand building it stank of something blood and everyone looked down on you both literally and figurativley you were still pretty young okay?! But that didn't mean that you couldn't pack a punch. Mostly thanks to your ability How to Kill your family that allowed you to make a small cut on anyone remotly related to your family that if not treated properly would grow until it cut through a vital vein. The only drawback is that it could only be used once a day or else you would collapse from exhastion. Lucky that you consider everyone in the group in the slums your family or your ability wouldn't be nearly as useful.

"Y/N. I have a job for you." My boss said to me looking almost as emotionless as Akutagawa.

"There's a man by the name of Osamu Dazai the boss of the port mafia kill him and your pay will be trippled." The port mafia?! Maybe you weren't the brightest but you're not that dumb.. But what if you did it. Pay trippled. Your pay had been cut tremendously for your age already but trippled would be enough to get a food supply for everyone for atleast a week. You had to go even if you knew it was suicide...

The image in your head then dissolved into nothing god fucking dammit does he have some kind of ability well of course he does how else was it supposed to heal without him even touching the cut? If that didn't work you'll just kill him the hard way... This'll be your first up close kill and you don't really know how you'll pull it of....

"Y/N look!" One of your friends brought a small object up to your face that you recognized as a diamond.

"Its real Akutagawa-san checked!" You were about to contiue the conversation but then Akutagawa interupted you.

"Pack up in one minute we need to get out of here." You felt a presence near you and immidetally ducked leading your friend to get shot in the forehead then collapsing on the floor. You were pretty sure the people said something but you were to focused on what your friend said.

"H...H-Help us Aku..Ta Y/...N." He then got shot again your first reaction was for you to run as fast as possible away. You were then met with the sounds of bullets and screaming until you couldn't take it yes you were an assasin but you never had even heard the sound of gunshots before and it scared you. You found the nearest window and jumped out of it running your little legs of until you had exited the slums of Yokohoma and into the nicer side. You stopped at a bridge to catch your breath. By the time you had got to the bridge it was already dusk and there was barely anyone around this was a good enough place to rest......

You woke up to a tall red-head looking down at you and your first reaction was to kick him but he blocked it so easy that it was like he could see the future.

"Quite a way to greet people don't you think?" He tells you.

"Who are you? What do you want? Are you with the Mafia or those guys do you wanna kill me aswell finish the job?" Actually now that you say it maybe it would be a good thing if he came to kill you as long as it was quick.

"Calm down kid I was just worried seeing you collapsed." "Well I am fine there is no need to be worried and if you're not here to kill me then get the hell away!" You try to kick him again but he lands a blow to your stomach and then throws you on his shoulder.

"GET THE HELL OF ME! I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW THAT I'M APART OF THE YOKOHOMA ASSASINS BROTHERHOOD I'LL KILL YOU!" You start to thrash around but the man doesnt even flinch.

"I'm not gonna abandon a kid who obviously needs help."

"My name is Oda. Sakunosuke Odasaku member of the armed detective agency." The armed Dective Agency huh-

"-" You were about to say something but exhaustion had hit you again somehow.

Shibusawa has three big scars over the right side of his face from a horrible accident and he always covers them up with tons of make up since he is terribly embarrassed of them and hates them. A perfect appearance is very important to him. After all, he studies fashion design

When Fyodor accidentally saw him without make-up, he didn't say something about the scars at first but Shibusawa panicked and was afraid that Fyodor wouldn't like him as much anymore, especially because Fyodor liked beautiful people so much and he thought of himself with scars visible as kind of ugly so Fyodor gently grabbed his face and told him that he still loved him very much and that he still thought of him as beautiful.

He then kissed each scar and layed his forehead against Shibusawa's afterwards. He didn't forced him to tell what happend, he probably could guess it already but he urged him a bit to tell Nikolai and Sigma too

When he told them, both were kind of shocked at first, Sigma hugged him thight and reassured him too that they didn't liked him any lesser now only because of some scars

Nikolai kissed him and also reassured him. He also told him that he himself also had obviously a scar in his face which he never tired to hide and the others weren't bothered by it at all

He also jokingly said that he and Shibusawa matched now because both had scars in thier faces

Dazai and Fyodor may piss each other off sometimes but they get along really well

They are really similar and love to talk about anything

They really enjoy thier talks and one can often see them literally giggling about stupid shit which one of them said

Thier boyfriends know that they aren't cheating on them but they don't really understand thier weird bond

They shouldn't get complelty separated or else they will most likely secretly miss thier best friend

Fyodor and Dazai know each other since they were young teens

Bram's first love was Lovecraft. They met as teens back in Ireland in Bram's hometown but they never got together/had the guts to confess and lost contact after Lovecraft had to go back to America.

When they met each other after years again at this college they had a bittersweet reunion. Bram is now in a wheelchair, sleeps more than needed to escape reality and is still in love with Lovecraft and Lovecraft is in a happy relationship with Steinbeck.

Bram still has a special place in Lovecraft's heart tho since he was secretly Lovecraft's first love too.

Dazai actually goes to therapy

Higuchi and Gin are one of the power couples at college but it took a while for them to get together.

They got together after Higuchi stayed at her dorm for a week because she was experiencing a lot of bi-panic and serval existence crises after she found out that Gin was a girl and Akutagawa's sister.

Gin and Tachihara are best friends. She can rant to him about anything and he was her main emotional support when she was feeling heartbroken because Higuchi loved Akutagawa for a long time while Gin loved her but she always comforted Higuchi after Aku shoved her away again

Kunikida is the only one besides Chuuya with a actually healthy sleeping schedule to which he sticks but sometimes he is way too anxious about something to sleep, most likely because some professors put too much pressure on him and expect too much of him, so he randomly started cooking small meals in these nights to calm down

Katai often wakes up then (if he slept and wasn't gaming again), talks to Kunikida about what is going on in his mind, comforts him, eats with him and then gently drags him back to bed again

Chuuya and Dazai often visit Verlaine and Verlaine's husband Arthur on weekends

Verlaine despises Dazai but Arthur is very kind to Dazai and is always making sure that Chuuya and Dazai are both okay when they stay at thier home

Arthur gently asking Verlaine to give Dazai a chance and the fact that Verlaine only wants that his little brother is happy are probably the only reasons why Verlaine hasn't attempted to strangle Dazai yet

Louisa often visits Lucy in the coffee shop in her free time and Lucy always makes her her favorite coffee or hot chocolate for free.

Lucy has memorized how Louisa and Atushi like thier coffee and hot chocolate but she wouldn't openly admit this

Nikolai once played the role of an slightly insane and slightly lovesick clown and he did it so well that some professors were concerned for his mental health

Nikolai is in fact okay. He just can act really really well. It has always been his dream to be an actor even when he was still living in the ukrainian streets as a young kid and he works hard to achieve this dream

Fyodor and Dazai make weird bets regularly

Shibusawa has a kind of unhealthy relationship with food caused by his fashion major

When ever he has to model for a task he starts to eat lesser but his boyfriends don't have any of this shit and kindly force him to eat enough

Shibusawa is allowed to help the theatre students with thier costumes and costume designs after Nikolai introduced him to his friends there

Nikolai is the best actor out of all the students

Chuuya thought Akutagawa how to make a perfect eyeliner wing during one of thier band meetings

Atushi is normally very strict with himself when it comes to college stuff and always comes to the lectures but when Akutagawa got sick he called in sick too and stayed with him until he was better again

Whenever Karma comes over to Fyodor, Nikolai, Sigma and Shibusawa and is completely overwhelmed with a subject because he doesn't understand the topics for the upcoming class test, Fyodor will always help him to study and explain him everything. Fyodor and a few others who play orchestra instruments sometimes play pieces for the plays of the theater students and he does it happily

Fyodor is one of the best of the cellists and he plays the cello which such elegance and passion and it looks so simple when he does it that Nikolai always watches him in awe and then proceeds to tell everyone that this man is one of his boyfriends

When Fyodor goes out, which happens rarely, he often listens to music over his headphones. The most think that the kind of creepy looking man who is way too intelligent and seems to know everything only listen to dark classical music but that actually isn't true

Yes he mainly listens to classical music but he actually also often listens to Russian rock (often from the late 80s), the favorite songs of his boyfriends which include Lady Gaga songs, Vegas from Doja cat, IAMX songs and Disney songs and he also listenes to the ratatouille soundtrack regularly

because i finally lost my patience and deleted this damn game, so this is a Au revoir!

Atsushi Nakajima- Casual f2p team player

When i say casual, i mean in terms of him appreciating all the characters, the scenery, the lore and the effort that went into making all of it and being able to play the game with his friends.

Otherwise, there's nothing casual about his gameplay. He's surrounded by three Fatui guards on Dragonspine, slowly freezing to death. He is hesitant to eat food because there will be more important times to use it and food isn't all that cheap. He had eaten a few Sweet Madams and an Almond Tofu, though, because he's literally panicking and crying. In the end, Atsushi marks those spots on the map and leaves them for co-op.

He loves co-op, mostly to explore together and it usually happens in his world. He doesn't mind playing any role the team needs- dps, support or healer. Atsushi is usually on a discord call with Dazai, Kyouka, Ranpo and Lucy. Kenji and Yosano occasionally play as well.

As for his team, he is very loyal to Mondstadt and to people that showed him kindness when he first stumbled there so his most used characters are from Mondstadt.

Akutagawa Ryunosuke- Competitive and impatient

This disaster, i swear. Doesn't play it often, but when he does, he really makes up for the missed time. Unless he has a place to be, leisurely kills everything he comes upon. Not only is he stacked on materials (that he doesn't use properly), but he levels up like it's nobody's business. If he stumbles upon a Lay Line, he'll do them. He doesn't count resin, completely unbothered by primo or level difference.

Akutagawa is the type of player that will fight a level 90 monster with level 60 characters, but only if he has an elemental reaction advantage. He's not stupid, just stubborn and really angry.

I know i said he's not stupid (and he's not), but his builds are... not the best. Talent levels almost forgotten, artefacts leave much to be desired, but his weapons are stacked!! Although, usually given to wrong characters...

Fear not, when Gin and Chuuya figured it out, they fixed it up and explained to Aku what artefacts are and which ones to collect. He pays more attention to all of it now.

Akutagawa sometimes buys the monthly card and doesn't want to waste any more money than a few bucks on pixels. He sees the game as the waste of time and money.

That said, he waled for Xiao and Tartaglia.

Dazai Osamu- A waifu collector and a troll

Your typical genshin asshole. Goes to people's worlds, mines their ores, steals their food and leaves when done. He does it primarily to Atsushi and the poor guy doesn't know. Kyouka threatened him, but Atsu said he doesn't mind and is happy to help. Dazai is as much of a leech as a player as he is in person.

He not only trolls ADA members, but PM as well. Doesn't mind playing with Gin, but is mostly there to annoy Chuuya and pressure Akutagawa. They're playing in Akutagawa's world, obviously. Gin wouldn't let him in hers to protect her brother and, well. The only other player is Chuuya and hahahhaa.

Do i need to say that he is spending Kunikida's money on the game or is it obvious for you too? He waled for Ganyu and Hu Tao and almost got killed for it.

This lucky mofo, i hate him so much, got Mona as his first five star on the standard banner. He was wishing for her as well.

Chuuya Nakahara- cool to play with until Dazai joins the chat

Chuuya is a great player. He is smart so he knows how to choose his battles and fearless when he does, even if he's going against Zhongli's chonkiest pokemon. He likes playing co op with some of his friends and subordinates. Often joins Akutagawa's world with Gin and either Higuchi or Tachihara. He really enjoys these moments because they forget about the mafia and get to have fun together and kick ass without hurting anyone.

These tranquil moments are ruined by one slimy mackerel. All Chuuya's qualities- teamwork, intelligence and casuallness goes out of the window. He is pissed and ready to throw hands. Dazai always baits him and tricks him into the most unsavoury of situations. Great many times will Chuuya drown due to lack of stamina, get rekt by Lawachurl and freeze to death, smack into invisible barriers with no ways of stopping untill he falls head first to the ground... yeah, hands are thrown. And tables.

Akutagawa relationship headcanons

Akutagawa's a big, big Tsundere so don't expect him to make many big moves. You're gonna have to do a lot of legwork in this relationship.

Aku's kinda like a feral cat that you have to walk by daily and wait patiently for them to approach you. He's very aggressive and prone to hissing at you, but after a while he'll relax and accept pets.

Befriending Gin will help get you closer to him. It might also be good to compliment him now and then.

When you do get him to be affectionate, he's gonna be aggressive about it.

He's gonna chuck your favorite sodas at you, save some of your favorite foods for you, call you a dumbass as he does something nice for you, and generally make a big show of being inconvenienced while he does you tiny favors.

As long as you don't confront him about his feelings in public and don't expect him to be super touchy-feely, you can make relatively good progress.

However, learn how to identify when he's just saving face, and when he's just not interested in you for real. It'll save you time and heartache.

If you can tell that difference, you'll do pretty good with him.

Once in a real relationship, Aku's going to be super duper awkward. He's not used to affection and is pretty new to the whole practice of dating, so be patient with him and keep your expectations for PDA low.

He is somewhat territorial though. He wouldn't like you flirting with others or being affectionate to strangers. He can handle you hugging your friends, but he might get a bit prickly if you're the type to hug people you aren't close to.

The goth is NOT socially affectionate. He's got a reputation to keep up, he'd do his best to preserve that even while he's with you, so don't push him for affection often, especially not in public at all. Keep it for when you're alone or at home.

Let him come to you. Return his affections and prove it's safe to be more lovey with you and he'll pretty quickly become cuddly once dating.

He's super touch-starved, so if you do talk him into cuddling, after the first five minutes don't expect to move, because he's not going to want you to let him go.

Akutagawa would enjoy being the little spoon, but make sure to also let him be the big spoon now and then so he doesn't feel too vulnerable.

He can be super volatile and might snap and lash out, but with some work he will learn to keep a better control of his temper. Aku's not abusive, he's just very traumatized and hasn't had a healthy example of love, so you have to be very patient with him as long as you know he's only being aggressive and not actually abusive.

That being said, Akutagawa needs a lot of therapy for what Dazai did to him, and his insecurities. Get him an appointment as soon as possible for this relationship to work.

dazai is kunikida’s co-council, but in the past he was a prosecutor who had pretty crooked ways- he was a mole prosecutor working under the port mafia before. he gave up his job after defeat at the hands of fuku and kuni who worked side by side on a case against him, where he was trying to indict a falsely accused defendant for the death of odasaku. he’s trying to become a defense lawyer under fuku’s discipline.

tanizaki and naomi are assitants of sorts in the office, they’re not interested in becoming lawyers or anything, they just really like the idea of bringing justice for people who deserve it

yosano’s an injury lawyer but for some reason she landed a job in the nutcase agency and has to take up murder cases, which she doesn’t mind. her additional medical knowledge helps her understand autopsy reports more.

kenji often drops by the office after fuku helped him with a property dispute in his hometown, often brings fresh produce and food for the lawyers. now knows legal lingo for his own good despite no actual interest in law as well

ranpo’s a private investigator of sorts, he’s not entirely hired by the agency, but he has his own desk in the agency because he helps them a lot, in return for fuku defending his ass in the past. he’s with the police department but tends to work on his own, as he figures out mostly everything out in a minute. makes the correct arrests. he helps the lawyers investigate cases they get even though he isn’t involved, but doesn’t really talk about the actual answers though, because he believes they should be doing their job instead of him handing them the answers.

atsushi’s a fresh law school graduate and can barely argue without crying, but fukuzawa is his inspiration as a lawyer after the man defended him against false charges after the murder of the orphanage headmaster. will fight for what is right and generally the phoenix wright of all of this, except internal tears are 100% present. he’s a good lawyer at heart and he does handle his job well but trembles after trials. believes in his clients.

kyouka’s a spirit medium from the kurain village despite taking on a different surname rather than ayasato (jp’s version of ‘fey’). atsushi had to defend her after she was accused for assassination, where she was framed by the port mafia. has grown close to him in the process and acts as a co-council of sorts for the new lawyer.

the port mafia is still there and they have moles in the prosecutor’s office and the police department

namely akutagawa, a prosecutor who has never lost a single case until atsushi comes along. while he takes on numerous cases, he’s respected enough to be able to pull strings to prosecute port mafia cases in order to indict wrong suspects involved in port mafia businesses

higuchi is in the police department as a detective, whom akutagawa constantly has to work with, much like edgeworth and gumshoe

chuuya’s also a prosecutor, while being a mafia executive

basically everything else with the mafia is the same just aku and chuuya’s in the prosecutor’s office

mia fey, maya fey, pearl fey - all three share the same channeling ability due to their fey blood. feys still have the fame from spirit channeling, it’s just not much big of a deal as it was in the AA universe. additionally, mia can manipulate her scarf. think rashomon, but not as harmful- more of a shield and an extra hand.

miles edgeworth - Logic Chess, allows him to realize what the person he’s talking to will say next depending on what he will say. also lets him deduct possibilities in a case which helps the agency in their cases. kinda like oda’s ability, but more on verbal probabilities, rather than probabilities in the future, plus ranpo’s super deduction, just super limited.

gumshoe.... is their actual detective, a private detective for them. not actually gifted, but aids edgeworth on his cases. he used to be a detective under the police department until edgeworth invites him into the agency after finding out that his failures in his job has cut his salary a lot. he’s bad at being detective, but edgeworth brought out his best after he stayed with the agency.

ema skye - a forensics expert, helps within the agency. sometimes tags along with edgeworth and gumshoe whenever she’s needed for her expertise. can see bloodstains without the use of luminol, but she has to wear her funky glasses. can also tell whose blood it is as long as she sees other comparative blood samples.

franziska von karma - a prosecutor that works with the skilled ministry. unnamed ability grants her super strength as long as she’s annoyed/angry, which is often.

godot - Fragrance of Dark Coffee lets him dispense drinks out of fucking hammerspace. any drink, really. but mostly dispenses coffees of his own blends. throws dark coffee at enemies honestly and it throws them off guard but man can he fucking fight

apollo justice - Chords of Steel, his voice enables him to unleash destructive sonic waves but he has it under control. still loud as hell but minus destruction unless he means to. additional perception ability from the gramaryes.

trucy wright - adoptive daughter of phoenix after her dad, a suspect in one of the agency’s cases, disappears. a magician still. Magic Panties lets her pull out anything and lets her put anything in it. even people. she can manipulate the space fabric containers honestly, but prefers to use the panties for her shows. despite her magic panties being her main ability, she still has the heart of a magician and devises all tricks as much as she can.

klavier gavin - Guilty Love lets him use any sound he causes to unleash destructive sound waves as well. same as apollo honestly, but more control. can make a needle drop more destructive than it should be. still a famous rock star.

thalassa - has the same perception ability apollo has. Siren’s Serenade allows her to enthrall people with her singing, making them focus only on her. not part of the agency but often visits for trucy and apollo.

athena cykes - resident psychologist of the agency. Mood Matrix allows her to hear the voice and turmoils of your heart. honestly the same thing in the AAverse, and can choose to switch her ability on and off with widget’s help. also, for some unknown reason, the agency’s best hacker.

simon blackquill - another psychologist in the agency but works with edgeworth sometimes to manipulate possible suspects into fessing up. no ability, but can cut your throat

clay terran - apollo’s best friend and assistant of sorts. not an ability user, but this guy has learned how to map the stars and impresses everyone in the agency with it. he’s actually very helpful to them and everyone appreciates him despite being not an ability user. sometimes spends time with ema and gumshoe.

juniper woods- is not part of the agency but a student in Themis Legal. has an unnamed ability that allows her to grow flora or reverse the growth of plants. generally plant-based ability, but it tires her out pretty quickly. visits the agency and gives them all treats from her garden in the mountains after they help her avoid being falsely arrested.

the Phantom - Phantomime... generally enhanced imitation ability. the same thing in AAverse honestly

nahyuta sadhmadhi - no ability but honestly has the power of the Holy Mother™. the whole defiant dragons and khura’in’s shitty history doesn’t happen so he isn’t a prosecutor or anything, but he does fly to the US to visit apollo to see how he’s doing in that weird agency he got himself into

rayfa khura’in - enhanced insights anywhere as long as there’s water she can dance around on honestly. her insights aren’t as dull as they were in the AAverse, and while she can let images appear in the water, she experiences the victim’s last moment herself within her mind, and this lets her make correct judgements whether a defendant is guilty or not.
