I always find it funny when in Kunichuu/SKK/other Chuuya ship fics he sees the Agency (specifically Kunikida) as 'do-gooders' or whatever because both times Chuuya has met Kunikida he has attempted to solve a problem by blowing himself up and one time he tried to do so while trying to murder a guy. Every time other time Chuuya has come into contact with the Agency a) Yosano and Kenji fought him and Yosano threatened to tear him apart, b) Ranpo trapped him in Poe's book while facing the Port Mafia's most dangerous member as a non-Ability user with zero fear. I don't think Chuuya thinks the Agency are do-gooders, I think he thinks they're all absolutely insane and Kunikida is one of the least sane ones.

I like to think that chuuya secretly donates to animal shelters and never tells anyone. he'll be boasting about how tough of a mafioso he is one second and then quietly covering the medical bill for a one-eyed kitten the next. animals don’t lie. they don’t stab you in the back or expect things from you in return for their love. they’re just soft and small and trying their best, and it hits a part of him he doesn't want to look at too closely. he reads every “thank you to our anonymous donor” update email like it’s classified intel. someone at the shelter sent a picture of a puppy in a cast once and he stared at it for ten minutes straight. he would rather be shot point blank then explain to someone why the photo is saved and favorited in his phone though.

This is a bit of an unserious BSD headcanon, but yknow how ability users are seen mostly as an urban legend by most people? (as mentioned in the 3rd(?) novel). Imagine if it’s a common topic that conspiracy theorists online make videos and stuff about.

So I bring you this: when they were bored, teenage Dazai and Chuuya would sometimes pull up conspiracy theory posts about ability users and place bets on how much of the information would actually be correct

Maybe Dazai even brought the time killing tradition to the ADA. On super slow office days, he and a few other people will place their bets and see who wins (Ranpo is no longer allowed to bet after everyone else kept losing money to him)
