I am currently in Amsterdam at the Elder Scrolls Online 10th Anniversary Event. Last night was the content creator drinks reception, today is the press and content creator preview of the new chapter, Gold Road. I am contractually obliged at this point to tell you that I'm attending as a guest of Bethesda, who paid for my travel.

I have not had enough sleep for two days, and today I have woken up at 06:30 despite not being needed anywhere until noon. I may be excited about the preview event today.

Though it doesn't help that I ran into my favourite rock star in the world last night at the content creator drink reception, and embarrassed myself silly. The only rock star I was expecting to meet at this Amsterdam event is Matt Heafy from Trivium, who is providing the entertainment. I had no idea that Alea from Saltatio Mortis would be here! (Not that many people who aren't German know who Saltatio Mortis are.)

I don't remember a huge amount of the conversation I had with Alea but I was blushing non-stop through the whole thing. He was so kind and polite, and he said he remembered Klavierbean but I don't know if he really did.

I may have gushed to him about how pretty he is and how much we enjoyed his band's show in November. I may have also forgotten the name of the band member we met in November, which is insanely embarrassing. Seriously, I see Alea der Bescheidene unexpectedly in the same room as me and I turn into a 14 year old fangirl, which is ridiculous considering we're both in our 40s. 😊

In all seriousness, my reaction to Alea must be much like Gavinners' fangirls reaction to Klavier, and must be very important for writing fic. *nods wisely*. Yes, I can absolutely see one of his fans forgetting the name of another band member that they'd met due to being in the presence of the most beautiful man in the world...

One year old anniversary of Warriors of the World United by Feuerschwanz! (Manowar Cover)

On 6th of december, last year Feuerschwanz covered Manowar's Warriors of the World United from their album Memento Mori and I think this version is way better than the original track and that it has more energy and power.

In my opinion this is one of the best covers that I've ever heard, the day it came out I listened to it like 50 times... :D. The guest singers are great, and the mixing as well, because each singer is balanced and have their own part in the track. The video also turned out amazingly, the battling parts with Myu and Musch-Musch just added to the atmosphere of the song and it quickly became one of my favorites and possibly my number one favorite song. :)

Fiddler's Green Sänger Albi übergibt temporär an Alea

Gerade noch stand Albi mit Fiddler's Green am Rock The Lakes Festival auf der Bühne und spielte den Rausschmeisser am Samstag Abend. Nun hat er verkündet, dass er sich am Ohr operieren lassen muss. Somit wird er die nächsten Shows mit der Band nicht spielen können. Dies betrifft jedoch keine Shows in der Schweiz. Es gibt einige Shows die abgesagt, resp. verschoben werden müssen: 25.08.2023 FR BREAL-SOUS-MONTFORT – Festival du Roi Arthur 26.08.2023 DE SPEYER – MPS 01.09.2023 DE BAD STAFFELSTEIN – Seebühne – verschoben auf den 16.08.2024 Die restlichen Shows im September wird er von Saltatio Mortis Frontmann Alea ersetzt: 02.09.2023 DE LUHMÜHLEN – MPS 08.09.2023 DE WILLOFS/OBERGÜNZBURG – End Of Summer Festival 09.09.2023 IT CIMADOLMO – Feffarkhorn Celtic Folk Festival 10.09.2023 DE SELB – Festival Mediaval 17.09.2023 DE DACHAU – Kult Festival Die Band hat natürlich entsprechend ein Statement veröffentlich, welches sich hier in voller Länge zu lesen ist: “Liebe Fans und Freunde von Fiddler’s Green! Leider müssen wir uns mit einer unschönen Nachricht bei Euch melden. Unser Sänger Albi muss sich in den nächsten Tagen einer unaufschiebbaren Operation am Ohr unterziehen. Wir müssen deshalb die Konzerte in Frankreich und Speyer kurzfristig absagen! Um den Genesungsprozess nicht zu gefährden, kann Albi auch die Konzerte im September nicht spielen. Wir haben jedoch beschlossen, und es war auch Albis ausdrücklicher Wunsch, nach einem Ersatz zu suchen: Mit Alea der Bescheidene von Saltatio Mortis haben wir eine würdige und geschätzte Vertretung gefunden. Die Frage, ob wir überhaupt ohne Albi spielen wollen, haben wir uns natürlich schon gestellt. Und beschlossen, den Kopf nicht in den Sand zu stecken und zusammen mit Euch positiv nach vorne zu schauen! Leider ist jedoch so kurzfristig nicht jeder Termin machbar, daher wird das Konzert in Bad Staffelstein auf den 16. August 2024 verschoben. Der Auftritt beim MPS am Tag danach in Luhmühlen wird aber in einer ganz außergewöhnlichen und einzigartigen Version stattfinden. Lasst uns zusammen alle Daumen dieser Welt drücken und Albi alles Gute und eine baldige Genesung wünschen! On fanfiktion.de I found fanfictions about Feuerschwanz (I even found a fanfic about the band dArtagnan....). I have read them and to be honest, they are pretty good...well, at least better than my Feuerschwanz fanfics xD

These are Feuerschwanz x Saltatio Mortis fanfictions. The plot is that Hauptmann from Feuerschwanz fallen in love with Alea from Saltatio Mortis while they're on tour.
