You hadn’t been told of any lake or pond when you moved in, so what were they doing here? Your step became heavier, sinking into muddy ground the closer you got to the wetland.

“Well, I’ll be damned,” you mumbled to yourself, kneeling before the murky water.

You waited a moment, expectantly, yet nothing happened. The damned puddle was just as dead as the rest of the area, devoid of any animals. You later learned that your unexpected encounter was the main and only inhabitant of the forest, for the very simple reason that everything else wilted in his presence. Algrat are amorphous pokemon composed of seaweed that assume a human-like shape. Capable of stretching out their bodies into a number of shapes they will tangle up opponents and whip at them with claw-tipped tendrils of kelp. Dragon Update!!

Got some more details done on it, and wanted some cool contrast markings. Decided on it having orange eyes just to make it truly pop, so if you happen to see this bastard in the deep dark cave systems it enjoys, all you’ll see is eerie glowing orange eyes before it slithers away. :D

I think I went for a Lindwyrm style dragon for this? I gotta add some smaller details later, figure out how to make a cave background, shit like that. Debating on having its markings ALSO glow, but seems a bit much? Just the eyes, and the inner flesh like the mouth and nostrils might work.

Anywho, enjoy the WIP update! I’ll add more when I get the chance. Really feeling the art bug rn, so imma ride this wave for all it’s worth!!
