If your requests are open could I request Shxtou and reader playing a two player game and it went very well, that they get shipped by a bunch of people and react to fan art on stream or something sorry if it's too much
( ´)Д(` )
I love your works so much btw! ❤
Player Two?
SHXTOU x Gn! READER
Genre: Fluff!
A/N: Hehehehe 😈 so I add a sprinkle of Dacapo into this fic because I have a good idea for this order 😈😈😈😈 wish me luck~! Love you Honey! ((ALSO, my requests are open and so is a discord server👍 come talk to me and my friends! Love you all!!))
“ORDER UP!”
Discord call from…Dacapo
“You never call me Dacapo, what did I do now?” You asked with confusion, normally Dacapo never calls you unless you messed around a bit too much with Baabel or he had a question for you.
“So, I have a friend named Shoto, I can’t make the stream today due to some setbacks where I am at the moment so could you take my place instead???” What. You were known pretty well around the Vtuber community but you’ve never had to ‘sub’ in for someone.
“Are you insane Dacapo?? Just cancel on him, it happens to everyone at some point.”
“Just join his VC already, Y/n.”
~ Present Time ~
Well, that’s how you got yourself into this mess. You knew of Shoto and he knew of you but you guys never talked. Both of your guy’s chats noticed the tension between the two of you, it was so thick that you could cut it with one of Shoto’s daggers. But, you got a superchat that might have just fixed the entire stream.
Zara_Zamura
$100.00
Why don’t you guys play Mario Cart together???
“Actually, that’s not a bad idea! Hey Shoto, wanna play some Mario Cart?”
“Oh you’re on Y/n!”
The stream was filled with laughter and everyone loved you guys together, even though this was the first time you guys ever met, it was still a lot of fun to just play games with him, you were starting to enjoy his company and soon everyone in chat started to ship you two.
Chat:
Dacapo Ch. [ARP]: See, I told you that you would be fine, look at you now Y/n, you made a new friend!
“Dacapo, get out of my chat”
Let’s just say #/Shxtouxy/n was trending on Twitter for a few months.

WAIT. wait no not just I wonder which of the meeplers would be the best at chess.
IMAGINE. they have full-on tournaments. the more competitive ones study openings prior. someone else has to move the pieces for mepad but that's okay. 3gs is there. 4s is there.
and yk what, let's add ALL the meeplers to this tournament. 1. 2. 3 and 3g, 5 and 5s and 5c, 6 and 6+, 7 and 7+, X. the meeple extended family, if you will.
I wonder what all their playstyles would be. how many of them would think to use an already-existing chess engine before they were told that's cheating. which ones wouldn't care if it's cheating and are therefore on my enemies list /hj
here's my hcs:
4s would play very aggressively and prefer when he castles the opposite way that his opponent does* (<- totally not projecting the castling thing)
3gs would probably be very wary and reluctant to play because there are A Lot of objects there and most of them were made by cobs
X doesn't know how to play chess and someone has to explain the rules to it
Toilet is there, because he's an honorary meepler. although he'd probably be out the first round 😔
various of the 'newer' meeplers would be arguing for like 20 minutes on who's the best and would have to be reminded that hey. you can Prove It.
*fun fact that's called Opposite Side Castling, which spells out OSC
Ouh… the meep chess tournament… I mentioned thinking mepad would be good at chess in my previous response but. I did kinda forget he doesn’t have hands to move the pieces with 💔💔💔 it’s okay though like you mentioned the other meeps are there they can help
(Also anon… I don’t know where else to include this but I regret to inform you that mephone2 and mephone3 don’t exist…. It goes from mephone1 to mephone3g to mephone3gs 💔💔💔)
I think many of the newer meeples would probably think to just use a preexisting chess bot of some kind… specifically the newer ones from like 6 and onward… they’re just told to “play chess” and are like “well okay. I’ll just use the easiest solution and go for the pre-existing algorhythm rather than trying myself.” Something something cobs making the mephones for efficiency at that point (even though he’s clearly not that good at it) rather than for personality and stripping them of their personality 💔💔💔 and I don’t know who wouldn’t care if it was cheating or not… maybe 6 and 6+ because iirc from what little we saw of them they were all like “bleh!!! I’m the newest mephone!! You can’t get through me!!”. They are definitely getting disqualified for cheating.
Ouh… 4s playing aggresisvely is very very real. and. opposite side castling… osc…. object show community…. I see what you did there…
Also yeah I can definitely see current-day 3gs being very reluctant to play. My answer to your first ask was specifically about pre-closet 3gs (back before and during the shimmer mission and such) but I can imagine that now that he’s out of the closet he’d definitely be more wary of playing it… perhaps it brings back a bad memory or two.
I have nothing to say on X learning how to play chess I just think the concept is funny. Family bonding! Teaching the dubiously sentient robot designed to kill people that your abusive corn father made how to play chess… in full honesty though I love when people give X redemption please let that dubiously sentient murder robot learn to feel joyous whimsy and have fun…
Yeah toilet is definitely getting out very early 💔💔💔 the only scenario that I can imagine he wins in is mepad giving him the win because mepad is a very kind man and he cares about toilet…. And also him winning by default over 6 and 6+ because theyre CHEATERS!!!!
Also the newer meeplers arguing over who’s the better chess player is so silly to me but also very very true… I can invision that happening… in my head it’s specifically the fives and the sixes because to me theyre the ones with the big “i’m the latest and greatest mephone!!” egos
#mind you I don’t even play chess… but you’ve got me very interested I love these thoughts#inanimate insanity#all meeplers confession#ii meeple#meeple confession#the queue-ture is so yesterday

Here we are. Back again. Don’t worry, I’m not going to stay here and rehash everything I already said in the last intro. This second (and final) part is centred around the groups that make up the lineup of CHERRYADE, for the most part. It’s safe to say that if they didn’t implode from the inside and get scrapped because of it, or simply just fall into the depths of nugudom due to overwhelming disinterest and were quietly disbanded, we wouldn’t be getting this too-sweet-on-the-tongue group coming next month. So I guess this is a raise-your-glasses moment (or a dancing-on-the-grave one, if you weren’t too keen on any of these boys).

PART iv. algorhythm.
The idea of ALGORYHTHM was only really thrown around on a whim more than anything, at first. A general concept was thought up, thoughtless demos made, but there was no real drive to actually make it happen. Until, of course, they saw the seven trainees that would come to form the final lineup slowly rise in the ranks, and started to make more concrete moves to bring the vision into practice. Everything seemed to be going better and better over the months and months they were active, despite the minor cracks that were starting to appear—in the forms of the leader and the maknae taking more and more shots at one another, until eventually the maknae upped and left. Which, in the end, even with how they tried to dress it up with various other made-up issues, was pretty obviously what caused their end.
METRONOME Media’s first (and only) project, ALGORHYTHM was a seven-made-six-piece fictional South Korean boy group. With a lineup featuring members Daehoon, Seon, DJ, Haeil, Caiden, Youngmin, and finally Levi, the group boasted a concept that told a tale of exploring the wonders of music in a dystopian-like world, one where everything was too clean and too sterile to be natural. They ran from the law and found more and more melodies as they went, making new and like-minded friends on the way. It was something that drew crowds in from the get go, and brought them a largely successful June 2016 debut in the form of the mini album ‘REPEAT.’ Things were already looking bright, their future seeming promising and good reception for all releases to come feeling guaranteed.
The only problem they faced was mainly between the leader and the maknae. They didn’t get along too well, which didn’t really seem like too much of a problem at first—they never really vocalised their dislike for one another during the first couple of comebacks, the only issue really being the growing tension between the pair. But just after the release of their first full album in February 2017—named ‘OUT / ABOUT’—was when the arguments began. At first it was just petty fights over minor grievances; one of them missed a step in the choreo, the other pronounced a word wrong, so on and so forth. But slowly it started to get a little more personal, began to dig at things neither particularly wanted to bring up. It was an open secret among the seven that there was a trainee Daehoon would have much preferred to be in Levi’s place—a boy by the name of Taewon, who had since upped, left, and cut off all contact with the leader after not being chosen for the debut lineup (a somewhat cruel thing to do, seeing as it was also common knowledge Daehoon only signed up to METRONOME because Taewon did first)—and the fact he didn’t really want Levi in the group to begin with was something that Daehoon slowly started to bring up again and again, finding a way to slip it into every squabble they shared somehow.
The fights were practically a daily occurrence by the time their second mini album rolled around in November 2018 (named ‘RHEMIX’), but this era was the first time the public would be in the know about it. Sudden rumours began to arise after a performance of the title track ‘Toxic’ on Inkigayo, of a fight between the two turning physical for the first time. An anonymous Twitter user backed up their egregious claims by leaking a five-second (albeit very grainy and low quality, the audio even worse) video of this alleged fight, and METRONOME went on the defensive immediately—refuting the claims by saying that the group had left straight after their performance in order to attend another schedule, and then vaguely threatening to take legal action should any more accusations arise. The thing was, though.. The claims were true. The video itself wasn’t exactly what had happened, but the pair did follow through on the various physical threats they’d made to one another over the years, and were escorted out as soon as it had happened. METRONOME had lied on their name purely because they were still basking in the constant success ALGORHYTHM continued to give them, too high on the feeling to let it all fall apart just yet.
It only went even further downhill after that. Their public reputation was (mostly) unscathed from the incident, but relations inside the group were anything but. By that point it was almost a waiting game, to see who’d break first. It was fight after threat to one leaving the dorm to find somewhere else to sleep for the evening to the other stumbling into practice late and still drunk from wherever he’d been the night before—or, to put it plainly, it was all a mess. One that felt like it was never going to end, at that. The remaining members were doing more mediating than singing, more covering their ears or rolling their eyes than dancing. There was practically no extra content released between the eras because staff were worried it’d devolve into yet another Daehoon-Levi fight. And although a few were suspicious, most were blissfully unaware of how ALGORYHTHM were practically falling apart from the inside out.
Until, of course, one of them broke first—and it was Levi. A complete surprise to most of the general public, but something that was a long time coming to everyone else. The announcement was made in March 2019, but he wouldn’t stay inactive for long, going on to join the group SLOW MOTION only a month later in April. And while Daehoon was happy he was gone, the company (and at least half of the remaining members, as while they tried not to take sides, after so many months of enduring it all it was hard not to) didn’t share the sentiment as much. ‘ROUND / AROUND’ was their first release as a six piece and would turn out to be their last as a group, underperforming and pretty much spelling out the end for them when it became crystal clear that, without the maknae, they didn’t really have enough as a leg to stand on as they were. August 2019 came the announcement, and after that ALGORYHTHM was no more. A quite tumultuous ride from start to finish.

Daehoon was the leader, no doubt about it. He commanded attention every time he stepped into a room, took nothing but best, and pushed the limits as much as he could get away with. It was very much tough love during his time as the head of ALGORHYTHM, but that was just what the industry had spat him out as—a cold, no-nonsense leader born to.. Well, lead. He used to be softer, kinder, more compassionate, but that side of him walked out alongside the boy he’d given up all of his hopes for a normal life for in the first place. The same boy that’d go on to drop out and leave Daehoon alone to train, and train, and finally to debut (even if it all turned out futile). He’s been quiet since disbandment, only making an Instagram and posting dance covers every once in a while.

Mostly forgotten about by the masses in the present, Seon was one that blended easily into the background, acting as a quiet pillar of support for his members when they needed it. But on the rare occasion when he came out of his shell and was given a chance to shine he worked well as a moodmaker, always having a joke to tell or an anecdote from his past to share. His love and friendship came easy, and he was never not reliable. He was mostly passive, easy-going, calm, and it would’ve taken something truly awful for his temper to be triggered. He’s a figure that his particularly devoted fans miss dearly, seeing as after the disbandment notice he sort of.. Faded into thin air. He hasn’t been heard from since.

All DJ wanted to do in ALGORHYTHM was make good music, and get rid of the stage name that had been chosen for him—he hated it with a passion. It felt so.. On the nose. And a bit more than mocking. Oh, your dad owns a club? And you worked in it? We have just the name for you! He hated it, and refused to let anyone refer to him as such when they weren’t on a public schedule. He kept his head down and his nose out of all the infighting that was brewing between the other boys, and made demo after demo after demo, hoping even just one of them would get chosen for the upcoming comebacks. He rarely got any chances to speak up or have many moments to himself in any group content, but he didn’t really mind—although his fans were of the opposite opinion, and are now hoping to see far more of him during his time in CHERRYADE.

It felt like all Haeil did in ALGORHYTHM was put his head in his hands after Daehoon went off on one again, sing the only two lines he was usually given on stage, occasionally rap three-second-long verses he wanted to pen himself but wasn’t given the chance to, and have even less of a presence online than Seon (which in itself was a massive achievement, seeing as the oldest of the group only posted once in a blue moon, and that was if he even remembered any of the passwords to their social media accounts). At times he looked like one of Daehoon’s only allies within the group, even if really he was just trying to make him realise that the latest reason he snapped at someone or other (or rather, snapped at Levi) was just a little uncalled for. He wasn’t the most popular, but he wasn’t practically unknown, either—sitting at a sort of middle ground during the group’s runtime that a lot hope to see increased while he’s in CHERRYADE.

Never not having a thing to say, and always filled to the brim (and often overflowing) with energy, Caiden (birth name Yeontae) had a knack for ending up at the centre of attention, the person who could never fail to make a whole crowd laugh. His creative mind was one that was often utilised, and he always put his all into anything he contributed. He just wanted them to do the best they could, despite all the fights that were getting more frequent, and the rumours that were starting to grow in number. His bond with Youngmin was one that was a massive fan-favourite, fans coming to refer to the duo as ‘the twins’ due to their closeness, and after ALGORYHTHM’s disbandment they went on to leave METRONOME and work independently as the duo DOUBLE-Y (Caiden since having ditched the stage name), releasing a few self-made tracks and making general content together.

A little quieter (but no less enthusiastic) than his counterpart Yeontae, Youngmin was similarly one that enjoyed his time in the group to the fullest, jumping at every chance he got to contribute to anything related to their music, to extra content, to merch and album concepts, and the like. Anything they were allowed a say in, he was one of the first to jump in. He didn’t ignore the increasing amount of fights as much as Yeontae, though, and attempted to play mediator a few times (although, admittedly, he was more on Levi’s side than he was Daehoon’s—and was devastated when came the time that he left the group, although the then-maknae promised he’d keep in contact; a promise that he stuck to), always stepping in before it escalated too much. Now that the group is no more, he made sure to stick with Yeontae and, as mentioned, the pair now operate as a duo, making music and stupid videos purely consisting of them having fun to their heart’s content.

PART v. slow motion.
Really only formed with the best of intentions in mind, a fun concept ready to explore throughout the eras they were anticipated to have, SLOW MOTION was—in theory—what anyone would want in a group. They all got along relatively well, despite a few fights back in their training days, and all had the shared drive to do well, to go far and attempt to make some sort of impact with their music. However, in practice, once they’d finally been released to the public as a final group, it seemed not everyone liked them as much as their company had originally thought. Interest dwindled, even after the addition of Levi to their lineup, and in the end it was all pretty much for nothing. Just another failed attempt.
Put together by FNC Entertainment, SLOW MOTION were a four-turned-five-piece fictional South Korean boy group. Debuting in November 2018 with the mini album ‘STUCK IN FUTURE,’ they—that being members Doyeon, Hoyoung, Seongjin, and Daejun—were met with.. Moderate attention, but didn’t seem as if they would be topping any charts or grabbing any headlines anytime soon. Nevertheless, they carried on as a four-piece, enjoying their time together as a group both in and out of the public eye. Despite the minor scuffles and adversities they faced before debuting, they all liked one another and were all excited about what the future would bring them, how the concept that had been created (a storyline that involved jumping around different time periods and discovering both new music and a new member each time, the theory being that whatever different genre they discovered would then be a main element incorporated in the next comeback) could be explored further.
In between their debut and first comeback, in April 2019, they were joined by a new member. Levi (or rather Junyeong, as was his birth name) came from a group named ALGORHYTHM, driven to leave by the constant fights between him and leader Daehoon that were steadily getting worse. He was welcomed warmly to the group and integrated almost seamlessly, as if he was there all along. His popularity from his previous group worked well to bring some attention to SLOW MOTION, which then boded well for their next release in June 2019: ‘SINCE WHEN?,’ their first (and what would turn out to be their only) full album. The album seemed to be the start of a good period for SLOW MOTION, where things felt like they were looking up. More and more people were tuning in, the title track ‘Timeline’ earned them their first music show win, and all in all everything felt better than they had in a good while.
But, slowly after that first win, no sooner than a month after the comeback, attention began dwindling again. Numbers started dropping, sales were dipping lower and lower, and by August 2019 things were looking worse than even their debut era. Extra content just stopped being posted of them, seeing as there were practically no fans in the fanbase that were going to watch it, and soon enough it was looking more in the interest of FNC to cut their losses and put an end to them before profit started turning into debt. And so, in December 2019, just over a year of activity, SLOW MOTION were announced to have disbanded. You could say that many look back on them and mourn over what could have been, but the reality is that most have no idea who they even were. It’s the minority of people that are doing the grieving over lost opportunities and such.

i.⠀길도연
Not quite as confident as he’d go on and grow to be, what with SLOW MOTION being his first years of being a real idol, Doyeon didn’t think he was quite cut out to be the leader—a notion that Hoyoung more than agreed with, in their earlier days, believing that he’d be much better suited for the role. He knew when to take the lead when it really mattered, but handling his members on a daily basis was a major struggle. He was an uncomfortable mess of nerves and festering insecurity during their mere year of activity, usually turning to practising late into the night to take his mind off of it. Increasing the strain on himself physically definitely wasn’t the best of ideas, sure, but at the time he felt as if dance was all he knew. So he carried on. Since the disbandment, nothing was known of where he’d end up—until the announcement of CHERRYADE.

Hoyoung was a fuse impatiently waiting to be lit. The slightest thing could set him off, the littlest irritation could spark up into a flame if it was a particularly bad day. Brash, overconfident (but, admittedly, with the charisma to back it up), he was a person you had to make an effort to like, to get along with, but there was no one who disagreed on the fact that he was good in all he did. The decision to make Doyeon leader instead of him was one that didn’t exactly make him the happiest, and it caused a few heated arguments back when they were trainees, but they’d since made up and all was fine. Since the disbandment he’s been spotted enjoying himself on various nights out in Hongdae (even being filmed behind the DJ booth once or twice), but nothing’s been said of anything happening in future.

Ever the calm, quiet mediator, Seongjin’s was a face you just couldn’t hate. He couldn’t speak ill of anyone if he tried (and even if he so direly wanted to. He could never seem to actually get the words out when it really came down to it), and was a fan-favourite even with how short the group actually lasted. A pretty smile was apparently more than enough to make up for how little the masses (or in SLOW MOTION’s case, lack of any crowds at all) were able to see the four-turned-five in action. He was left blindsided by the sudden disbandment and fell off the radar for a year or so, only popping back up again in the form of an anonymous (at first) Instagram account that he slowly began to upload his own content onto and attempt to rebuild himself from there. No official statement was made, but it was assumed he’d long left FNC.

Freshly out of the group he’d been stuck in for three years, Levi sadly didn’t get a chance to enjoy it for too long before he was being told, alongside his new four fellow members, that they were being scrapped—six months after his first comeback with them. He’d been full of ambition in ALGORYHTHM, trying to make changes and take them further in his own way—taking far more control over the rest than Daehoon thought was appropriate for the youngest of the lot. Over time passing insults and petty fights turned into yelling matches and throwing things, turned into jabs that went far deeper than all the skin-deep ones that had been traded before, and one day he’d decided he’d just had enough, so he left. But, as it turned out, he might’ve ended up better off if he had just grinned and bore it. Since disbandment he’s mainly been laying low, having made a public Instagram account but nothing on it suggesting neither his return with another group nor releasing any music of his own.

Daejun was someone who didn’t really realise his love for a thrill, for attention, for praise and adrenaline and everything else mixed up with what came with being an idol, until he’d debuted. Even if SLOW MOTION were hardly making any waves, he still felt a little bit of a headrush—overthrowing himself into everything, throwing it all back like a shot and still wanting more after the fact. It had awakened the party boy in him, the thrill-seeker he didn’t know he was. (Or in some critic’s eyes, he was more like an addict searching for his next fix, a fame-chaser who couldn’t seem to find any of what he was looking for in the group he was stuck in). SLOW MOTION’s disbandment didn’t seem to slow him down in the slightest, and he’s another common sight in the downtown clubbing scene—long having split from FNC—and since slowly starting to put on sultry performances of self-made songs at open-mic nights for all the screaming partygoers to hear, looking right at home as he does so.

PART vi. act three: bonsoir.
You have a perfectly good group in the palm of your hand. They like each other, the predebut music is generally being received well, and a fanbase is steadily growing and anticipating the day when they finally debut properly. But then comes along a hopeful, wanting to start afresh and find his footing in a new industry he knows next to nothing about. Some would say the one thing you shouldn’t do was place this untrained and bright-eyed newbie (AKA a fuse) into what could’ve been the number one money maker (which, frankly, they desperately needed at that point) group—but Seungdae was curious. (Over) ambitious. The result was something that he probably should’ve seen coming from a mile away: the fuse lit, and while at first the fire was one that was only slowly smouldering, the flames soon became harder and harder to stamp back out again.
BONSOIR was a fictional four-turned-five-piece (again) South Korean boy group, formed by JAGUAR. They first released the predebut single ‘MAYDAY’ in November 2018 as a four-membered group—consisting of members Jiyeol, Mai, Hyeonmin, and Yijun—both as an attempt to generate a fanbase for the group in anticipation for their actual debut, and to take the media’s attention away from the untimely suicide of who had once been JAGUAR’s reigning king and one of the public’s favourite soloists: YOON (known to everyone else as Choi Yoonhae) earlier that same month. Although many saw it was not a particularly nice thing to do, it worked exactly as hoped & intended: now the attention of the masses were more focused on the constant stream of predebut content JAGUAR were releasing of the four members (ranging from introduction videos to behind-the-scenes of ‘MAYDAY’ to a general social media presence consisting of selfies and playful videos and the like) than any of the blurry details the company were being vague about surrounding YOON’s passing.
This presence—that some called too much, almost overwhelming—kept up with no signs of stopping until around mid December 2018, when everything abruptly fell silent with no explanation as to why. Unbeknownst to (most) of the public, though, this was around the same time that once-actor Ahn Jaehee made the decision to try his hand at the whole idol shtick, and also made the choice to sign to JAGUAR to start his journey. CEO Seungdae thought the best course of action would be to add him to the BONSOIR lineup, and so the reason for the sudden absence of the four members was that they were being given ample time to adjust with the addition of their new member and start to practise as a five-piece group moving forward, ready for their October 2019 debut with the mini album ‘BETTER IS MORE.’
But Jaehee’s addition went the opposite direction to what Seungdae had hoped. Instead of taking him on under their wing and him slotting into the relationship the four had already gradually established over the years spent together, the new maknae fit with the rest of BONSOIR like oil and water—which is to say, he didn’t. They just.. Didn’t get along. Even after the near year they had to try, Jaehee still didn’t click. By the time debut rolled around they could all be civil, obviously, and knew how to keep up good enough appearances for the public, but after the cameras were off they all mostly acted as if they didn’t know him. He got it from Yijun the worst, who—after a few months of attempting surface-level kindness, even if it was only because of Hyeonmin’s pleading—dropped all pretence completely and let him know any time he was able to that, in his eyes, BONSOIR was a group that Jaehee just didn’t belong to. Wasn’t meant for. And never would be, however hard he tried. It never went as far as outright bullying him, but he never had a nice thing to say any time he was in conversation with him, either.
BONSOIR continued promotions as normal as a five-piece after their debut, coming out with as much non-music-related content like any other group does. Relations behind the scene were more dismal than ever, though. Yijun was still firmly holding grudges against both Jaehee and Jiyeol (the latter for a petty fight they’d had after the rumours of Jaehee joining them had first arose), Mai was playing instigator any chance he got, and in the middle of it all was Hyeonmin—who didn’t really care about any of the fights nor take any sides, and just continued his day-to-day as he always did. It seemed they were just going to carry on this way for as long as they were active—that was, until the article dropped.
Late March 2020, the (mostly unknown, at the time) journalist Song Kyumin dropped a piece detailing all of what Jaehee had been put through by the hands of his members up until that point. Mainly criminalising Yijun and Mai (although Jiyeol did receive a few blows, as well as Hyeonmin for his lack of doing anything to stop it), the article was quick to blow up—fans and nonfans alike expressing their shock over the cruelty the maknae was victim to, as well as theorising on who and where Kyumin got the information from to spill in the first place. JAGUAR made no such statement on the article, not acknowledging it at all—and not even the insiders had any information on what was going on inside their walls, not hearing word of anyone being blamed for the incident or any dismissals from the company. All group activities came to an abrupt end, and in a similar fashion to how they had predebut when Jaehee signed to the company, BONSOIR went entirely silent. Nobody would hear anything more of them until the official disbandment notice in early May that same year, a simple one-page affair signed off by Seungdae and left at that. They were a group that didn’t last that long at all (although admittedly they had a longer run than SLOW MOTION) and their demise was kind of their own fault. After that JAGUAR would go on to have a 14-month long period of absolutely nothing happening—until the news of CHERRYADE dropped in July 2021.

Jiyeol was relatively quiet with his ambitions (ever the pessimist, not wanting to have too high hopes lest they get scrapped—which, as it turned out, he was right for), straightforward and blunt with his leadership. He was realistic to a fault, not being able to read the room well enough to realise when people want things buttered up or watered down—he was just unable to give anything but the cold, hard truth, which caused a few major rifts in relationships with a few people over the years (Yijun, to name one of the main ones). He could let loose and have a little fun sometimes (namely when Mai dragged him out to one party or another and wouldn’t let go of him until he managed to get a smile on his face), but the majority of the time he mostly maintained his apathetic and almost-bored attitude. Despite the fact not much has been heard from him since BONSOIR’s end, some people think there’s something coming. No one’s sure what, exactly, but.. We’ll see.

More than anything else, Ilwoo wanted fun. More than responsibilities, more than pleasantries, more than any other false pretences. He wanted entertainment, for himself and himself only—and if that meant making other people the butt of the joke, making a few too many jabs at their expense to be considered friendly, then he’d do it anyway. All he wanted was a quick laugh, an easy fix—a want that translated to a few of his other habits, also. He’d lay off and play nice if he knew he wouldn’t get a reaction out of whoever he was tormenting (although he wouldn’t call it that, of course), but as soon as he knew it was a one-way ticket to get under someone’s skin it would be practically never-ending. Not much has been heard from him since their disbandment, bar from his appearance in the background of a few non-friend’s photos and some scarce sightings of him at some club or another.

You could spend years side-by-side with Hyeonmin, and by the end of it you still wouldn’t have been able to tell how he felt on any given day. He was a book full of blank pages to even his former members for the first few months they knew each other, written in an unknown tongue in invisible ink. Impossible to get to know, and seemingly unkeen to make any of the first moves to talk to them, either. Once you put the effort in and break down the walls, though, you’ll most likely be rewarded—he’s reliable, not mean-spirited or likely to hold petty grudges, and can even crack a good joke here and there if he’s really in a good mood (or drunk). Similarly to the three of his bandmates that didn’t end up in CHERRYADE, Hyeonmin has been silent since they were scrapped—although he has been spotted hanging out with Yijun a few times, which came as no surprise seeing how close the pair are.

The Yijun from now compared to the him from back then is, to some, completely unrecognisable. He was a little on the quiet side during his years as a trainee, only really starting to shine when alongside his to-be groupmates and whenever the evaluations came around and he knew he had to put his all into it. The more bubbly side came to stay during the MAYDAY era, but then it all came to a grinding halt in the form of Jaehee joining the four. He kept up the act of liking him just as much as any of his other bandmates for the public, but most of the time behind the scenes put no effort into trying to play nice. The shift in personality was permanent, it seemed, and it’s assumed that the happier side of Yijun will still be long gone during his time in CHERRYADE.

Eager to prove himself after making the impulsive jump into the idol industry, Jaehee was throwing everything he had into every appearance he made in public after the official BONSOIR debut, trying the best he could to find a place for himself in amongst the already long-established bonds between the four boys he was shoved in with. For the most part, it didn’t work in the slightest. While Hyeonmin could at least stand to spend time with him whenever they weren’t on a schedule, to the rest it was like that sounded like the worst possible way they could spend their days. He spent his years with the group wishing he could be anywhere else—and with CHERRYADE, he might get his wish, but with the cost of Yijun being right there beside him. So, really, it might not be so much of a win after all.

And there, finally, is that. Discographies from these boys look pretty dismal compared to who I covered in the last part, so sorry for that, but I guess it’s not really my fault—blame them. (Or the public, in the case of SLOW MOTION. Is that a low blow?). I hope this information means at least a little bit of something to you, and that with it in mind you come to form your own opinion about the possible fate of CHERRYADE. Personally, I’m rooting for them, but you might’ve read all this and decided you hate their guts already. I don’t suppose anyone would blame you. Anyway, bye again. Once more, I’ve been justbcmb, and enjoy your night!

Hey, Link! Got some super important questions I need you to answer! 😉
- favorite itzy variety show?
- wdzy or twinzy? who looks most like their cartoon counterparts?
- favorite title track? favorite era?
- favorite solo covers/performances from each of the members?
-any concepts you want itzy to try in the future?
Love your writing and I'm eagerly waiting for the next update! 💕
hi!!!!! omg i think this is the first non-anon ask i've ever gotten lol I'M EXCITED! and very glad you're enjoying my writing...next chapter of wsc is a real doozy so look out!!
answers after the jump :)
favorite itzy variety show?
easily it'zzz. oh my god it's been so good. i literally imitate yeji yelling "MAC" into the void on a daily basis because it makes me giggle every time. my one true wish is for it'zzz season 2 when lia comes back
wdzy or twinzy? who looks most like their cartoon counterparts?
prefacing this by saying i do genuinely like twinzy, i think they're super cute! that being said it's easily wdzy. members were more involved in their creation, the designs are more unique/distinct, and honestly just more fun. for twinzy i think kkengee looks most like yeji, and for wdzy it's gotta be my fav tuk (when ryujin's got her ears popping out the hoodie) or lya!
favorite title track? favorite era?
fav title track is SO tough there's so many good ones. ugh. honestly it might be cheshire?? that was the first itzy title track that got Stuck In My Head and then i had to listen to their entire discography lol. my favorite era as a whole is easily kill my doubt.
i think that entire EP is phenomenal, and it's what made me really hop on the itzy train in a permanent way (i became a fan during that comeback). bet on me and none of my business are the reason i survived the last year of my phd program lol
also like...their styling in that era (esp their hair)? ELITE. (blonde lia...i'm on my knees...wtf...)
favorite solo covers/performances from each of the members?
this is so tough oh my god uh...
lia - can't take my eyes off of you
hearing lia sing this is one of the major things that made me want to look into itzy in the first place. i wish lia would sing more jazzy/r&b stuff, her voice is so suited for it
yeji - river
idk if dance covers are included here but if so then obviously river. her stage with hyunjin was insane too. if no dance covers then...hotter than hell
ryujin - every second
i love every second, and i especially love ryu's cover of it. i legit listen to it all the time. lemon might be taking over its spot but we'll see
chaeryeong - 10 minutes/chitty chitty bang bang
ok i know this was a catz line (+yuna) performance but i literally go back to it constantly specifically for chaeryeong oh my god SHE!!!
yuna: u-go-girl
i mean. it's yuna's Statement performance. feels wrong to go with anything else
any concepts you want itzy to try in the future?
this is also tough! itzy has proven they can basically rock any concept so it's hard to say really. in terms of styling i would really love to see them go a little more masc (like the airport fits in the algorhythm mv) and do at least some r&b (like stuff in the direction of mr. vampire, especially when lia comes back)...i guess like to see them do a darker more mature concept but not girl crush bc i feel like we've seen them do that.
more than anything i'd say what i want is for the girls to have more creative control of their direction in concept, styling, and music. i think they have all shown themselves to be incredibly thoughtful and talented in those respects, beyond performance, and i'd be really interested to see what they come up with together if given the opportunity for input. fingers crossed that the solo projects on born to be were indicative of that becoming the new norm.

12 - Looking for Something Worth It (The Algorithm is Perfect)
Prodigal Sons and Daughters Alike
It took some discussion, but the five of them came up with ways to use this action-based approach to befriend Virgil. It ended up being Logan that was the first to use it.
Chapter title from Algorhythm by Childish Gambino because I had to implement their playlists somehow! Also, Logan is my fave to write, and now I FINALLY FIT HIM IN AS A MAIN CHARACTER i can be at peace now (after posting the rest, ofc)
It took some discussion, but the five of them came up with ways to use this action-based approach to befriend Virgil. It ended up being Logan that was the first to use it.
Despite what that may look like, Logan was the most apprehensive about the plan from the start. It seemed- morally questionable to make a plan directly involving Virgil without telling him, even if it wasn’t supposed to be to his detriment.
Ganging up on someone they were supposed to be befriending seemed counterintuitive. However, it barely took two days for Logan to prove himself wrong.
The day it happened, Logan settled down promptly after classes ended to start a very important music theory project, one that was likely going to take him weeks, and also one he was conflicted on the beginning of.
Wasn’t that supposed to be the easiest part, the beginning? Yet, as he started at a blank computer screen, the cursor in his empty Google Document flashing mockingly at him, he found that had to be a complete falsehood.
He didn’t believe in fate, but Virgil’s timing in this particular matter was nothing short of perfect.
It appeared he was in the process of sneaking into his room, likely to work on schoolwork or whatever it was he did in his reclusion. Just as he carefully closed the dorm’s door behind him, Logan let out a frustrated groan, making Virgil jump at the sudden noise.
“Ah, apologies for startling you, Virgil. And, good afternoon, as well,” Logan said, the conversation from days previous suddenly popping into his mind. “Although, I suppose your timing is quite excellent. I had something I wished to ask you, if you have a moment.”
Virgil frowned, twisting his backpack straps tightly in his fists. “Uh, fine. I’m not… I only have a minute, but go ahead, I guess.”
“The question will only take a moment, I assure you. I am currently attempting to start my school work, but I have hit a bit of a proverbial ‘roadblock.’ However, I have found that my productivity tends to increase when working in the presence of others. Not collaboration, but body doubling, if you are aware of the concept.
“If you would be amenable, I would like to invite you to spend some time, either here or in one of our rooms, working on our own separate projects,” Logan finished, not quite smiling but extending a friendly gaze in Virgil’s direction.
“Uhm… I don’t mean this in a rude way, but- why?” Virgil stuttered, cheeks slightly flushed. “I’m not… I’ve never heard of, uh- body doubling, and also… me? Why?”
Logan nodded in understanding. “I have found that, from minimal experience interacting with you, that you seem to be the most productive of all of our roommates. No offense to any of them, but they can be easily distractible, and are often not able to continue to be productive in larger increments of time. Except, perhaps, for Roman, but he has stated he is quite busy today.
“Also, as far as body doubling goes, I have found it is an opportunity to increase productivity by working in the presence of others while completing differing tasks. There is quite a bit of fascinating human behavioral science behind it, but I do not know the full extent of such. I do know that I have found success in it, but I will admit, I have not found any fellow classmates I know well enough to extend an offer to. Except for you.”
Virgil furrowed his eyebrows, trying to figure out a response to- all of that. His first instinct was to retreat, and ignore how horrendously awkward he was being, but instead he blurted the first response that came to mind, making himself cringe.
“Jeez, Logan, you talk like a British person.”
Logan blinked, and whether that was in offense or astonishment, Virgil couldn’t initially tell. “That is a new one, I will admit. I have heard criticism of my mannerisms and way of speaking, but most of those simply consist of petty insults and repetitive comparisons. That- I suppose I appreciate the creativity.”
“You… huh. Sorry, that- really sucks.”
Logan shrugged. “I suppose, in some ways, it does. I cannot say that all of those that have offended me in the past had bad intentions… nor can I say that they can even be considered quote unquote ‘bad people’ because of such actions. However, that is simply an experience of mine that I am pleasantly surprised you are not repeating. Regardless, would you care to join me? No is an acceptable answer, I would simply like to know in order to determine my next course of action.”
“I- fair enough, I… I guess it wouldn’t be terrible, to try. As long as we don’t have to, like talk to each other… and as long as it’s not out here- like, in public.”
Logan nodded. “No, we would not have to interact. In fact, that would be the opposite of my intended purpose. I can gather my things now. Would you prefer to work in my living space or yours?”
“I… your room is fine, thanks.” Virgil stood awkwardly for a moment as Logan stacked papers and stuck them in their designated folders. Once his backpack was organized, he gestured for Virgil to join him.
Virgil realized as he shut the door behind him that he had never been in one of his classmate’s rooms before. Or, anyone else’s room before, other than the bedrooms in his own house. And yet, he found he was not as nervous about this fact as he felt he should be.
Logan was… a special case… or something. He just had schoolwork to do, and liked working with other people around for that. A little odd, but Virgil respected the fact he found a study system that worked for him.
After about twenty minutes of the two doing their own thing, Virgil began to realize why Logan liked it so much.
The concept was not- entirely comfortable for Virgil, even as he had sat down and begun to work on his own schoolwork. But, the more time they spent in opposing corners of Logan’s room, the more Virgil and Logan matched each other’s typing pace, and the more he avoided staring at his computer in unproductive silence, Virgil realized he was working twice as fast as he normally did.
This body-doubling business, despite its oddity to Virgil initially, really did work. The two spent over an hour together before Virgil finished his written work for the day, two hours ahead of schedule.
Eventually, Logan’s typing settled into silence as well, and he began to put away his notebooks and organized his scattered papers. “I hope you found this session enjoyable,” Logan interjected as the two gathered their finished study materials.
“I- wasn’t expecting to, but it was… good. I got a lot done,” Virgil responded, not quite managing to make eye contact but glancing in Logan’s direction to read his body language. Logan smiled. “That is good, I am happy to hear it. If you are ever interested in working together again, feel free to reach out. I am always amenable to more productivity.”
“I’ll… I’ll think about it, thanks.” Virgil attempted a smirk that didn’t resemble an uncomfortable grimace and quickly slipped out of Logan’s room.
And then, he felt four more pairs of eyes on him.
With an actual grimace this time, and a bit more embarrassment than was strictly necessary, he hurried past the living room and out the door, subconsciously making his way to a practice room.
He had no clue how he was going to muster up the courage to actually go back to the dorms later that night, but he was trying not to worry about that just yet.
That was a problem for nighttime Virgil.
With a small sigh, he headed up the steps to the music halls, ignoring the looming feeling of disappointment that he now had to complete his practicing by himself.
Well, shit. That was new.
…
“Logan?! Did you… was that- huh?!” Roman stared at said roommate with an astonished look that Remus quickly matched.
“All I will say is that I have revised my opinion on your idea, Remus. I will advise you to be careful, but I have found success in my venture. Now, if you will excuse me, I plan to head to the library.”
“Ah!” Remus protested, nearly jumping over the couch, despite his brother’s protests, to drag Logan back to the living room. “Not so fast, Professor Despair-ald Hill! You are legally required to spill all the details… er, the ones you’re comfy sharing, that is!” he clarified with a mischievous but curious smirk.
“Fine,” Logan conceded, “although not much happened. Virgil happened to arrive back from class just as I was debating the start of a half-semester project, and I invited him to study with me. We body doubled for approximately an hour.”
“Oh, are you in the same class? I didn’t realize any of us shared class periods, why didn’t you say anything? Also, what is body doubling?” Patton questioned.
“No, we weren’t studying together. Body doubling is the act of completing differing tasks in the presence of others, and it typically acts as a way to increase productivity. I had already been considering contacting one of you to extend an offer, as I was already experience motivational troubles. Then, Virgil happened to arrive back from class.”
“Is that like… parallel play, but with studying? Only you, Logan,” Roman teased, but Logan appreciated his familiarity with the concept regardless.
“Well, it was obviously not just me, Virgil was there as well. But yes, they are quite similar,” he stated seriously, making Roman roll his eyes (although he did eventually elaborate that it was just an expression, for Logan’s sake).
Janus smirked. “You’re meaning to tell me that in order to bond with friends, you study with them? Now that is definitely so Logan, but at least it worked. As long as I don’t have to study with him as well.”
Logan rolled his eyes. “Of course, you don’t. That would, in fact, likely eliminate the purpose of attempting to bond with Virgil using activities we all actively enjoy. Although, I would not be opposed to assisting you in your own idea, if you’d like.”
Remus grinned as the others chimed in, brainstorming their own, unique ways of bonding with their potential new friend. As Logan settled in to discuss with them, he laughed to himself about the music student’s forgotten library trip.
He had to admit, things were definitely looking up from a week ago. Now, all Remus needed was the patience to spend time with Virgil last.

34 & 38 for the fanfic meme? [Can skip 38 if you're uncomfy posting it ofc]
[Current Ask game]
34. Was there any fic that you wrote that really surprised you in the fandom reaction? Was it just by the numbers or did they take it an entirely different way?
The stories that are my favorites frequently go unloved, and the stories I don't care for are more likely to be popular, which I'm sure can be largely attributed to me liking obscure characters instead of popular characters, and my taste of liking long, raw emotion 'fics with relationship drama more than I like my surface-level one-shots.
My three most popular (in terms of kudos) stories for the 130 Prompts project are "Mama's Boy," "End of the World," and "Weakening" which are all near the top of my personal "'fics I don't like" list. I personally think they're poor examples of my writing abilities, but people like them, so to each their own. I'm glad people like them enough to leave kudos on those pieces so that if I choose to ignore their opinions and move forward with my own, at least I'm aware of what I'm doing /lh
(The love for "Sunk Too Deep" always surprises me too, but I'm happy for it and I do feel it's deserved even if I "don't get it," ha ha).
I was also very touched when I returned to writing 'fics again after an extended hiatus and discovered that my most popular 'fic on AO3 is "AlgoRhythm." I wrote it in 2018 and it got its first AO3 comment in November 2020, plus it received multiple comments in 2022. I was on hiatus at the time and not keeping up with my 'fic feedback, so that was a very cool thing to see when I came back and already had the urge to write WordGirl again.
It was just kind of a /pikagasp moment that was really cool to me, because I always loved this 'fic and it was so cool to realize it had become the fan favorite in my library without me knowing. I'm really sad that I missed the resurgence of WordGirl popularity in early 2022, but I'm glad my 2018 'fic was there for people to enjoy even if I wasn't around to be involved.
I wrote a 'fic once years ago - I won't say which one - and a reader commented on it saying that they loved it, it made them cry, etc. Excitedly, I explained that I didn't like the way the show writers had pulled off X scene and so this was my fix-it for that, and I loved my angsty scene and I was so happy they loved it too.
The reviewer pulled a 180 on me and completely changed their POV, saying that my story was ruined for them now because they found it disgusting that I had written such a middle finger against the show creators and their canon.
It was a big slap in the face to me that hurt a lot at the time, especially since my entire brand is canon compliancy, but it's not something that still hangs over me today. Just an interesting story to keep around as a reminder that not everyone's going to love your ideas. I'm glad I have other nice comments on that story I can enjoy because man... sometimes you just get comments that bite. One of the risks you take in posting writing online.
38. Have you ever purposefully written something you know your readers would find uncomfortable/would not enjoy? If yes, why?
I'm going to assume that people who choose to read things like angst desire the angst, so this isn't about that.
I do like to set expectations, especially in long 'fics. Case in point: Frayed Knots Chapter 2 is Chapter 2 for a reason. If you can't get through Infant Marsupial Rescue Mission, you're not gonna like the rest of the 'fic, so just drop off now.
Like... seriously. Frayed Knots GOES PLACES and delves into THEMES. We've got an evil villain of a protagonist who is gonna do some upsetting stuff like manipulate his S/O into dubious consent situations, willingly put HIMSELF into situations of dubious consent as he tries to flirt his way through politics, and also he's a chronic cheater whose entire backstory is built around the idea of betraying others in pursuit of science, so... chances are high that it is not your type of 'fic if the dead marsupial mom scene is too much for you.
That said, I still think that scene was objectively tame because it's blood-free, it's the death of a character we don't have a connection to, and the characters talk about what they're about to face before they arrive at the scene, giving the reader time to bail early if they start growing uncomfortable. I tried to make it as un-upsetting as I could while still setting up this idea of "Buckle up, because we're only in Chapter 2 and I want you to be aware that the content warnings are there for a reason and this story's okay with discussing dark topics and non-human biology."
As a fun parallel along the lines of setting expectations, the opening line of Origin of the Pixies seems absolutely wild: "On a daily basis, it still baffles me to remember how many people don't know that squids keep libraries."
Perhaps an odd move for a Fairly OddParents 'fic that explores the Head Pixie's backstory, but it's important to me. The Yugopotamian library holds a lot of meaning for H.P. because he's stationed there during the war with the Anti-Fairies. He's in the eye of the hurricane, the universe falling apart around him, and... this is his little safe space where he has his pixies around him, and the library keeps them safe. He reads, researches, and it becomes a meaningful place to him.
I like to think of this as an exercise in patience. Those who remember the opening line might be chomping at the bit for a while, wondering when we get to see the squids and the library, but reading the 'fic requires you to slow down and absorb the little moments, which is exactly how H.P. learns to live his life.
By the time you get to the Yugopotamian scenes, chances are that you've completely forgotten this was the opening line of the 'fic. But Origin is a 'fic that's full of secrets that you'll only catch upon a reread, and this is one of them. It's a secret little nod to the fact that H.P. values the library scenes even when it's not obvious... which is the overall theme of the story. Not sure if that counts as upsetting, but it counts as deliberate.
I have a lot of private opinions about my headcanons that I don't normally talk about unless asked directly, because I'm very aware that my opinions are unpopular. I've seen some widely accepted fandom headcanons that certain fandoms like to hold up as canon, and I don't agree with those headcanons, which is sometimes awkward. I often ship rarepairs, and some of my rarepairs are so rare that I've never seen anyone even discuss them in a fandom space, let alone actually draw or write for them.
A lot of my favorite characters are ignored, poorly treated, or outright bashed in 'fics. I've been nipped at over the years for enjoying X or Y part of someone's characterization - tbh I left one of my fandoms because a ring of people were talking behind my back about how they thought my character analyses were stupid - so a lot of the time I just sort of... surface skim past the things I want to delve into. One day I'd like to get into the stuff I really enjoy, but for now I'm just playing out some tamer storylines.
I'd really like to work more on writing emotions, especially angst. I consider myself as someone who writes very tame content that might tickle your brain "logically," but doesn't really touch emotions (as far as I know; as the writer, everything falls flat to me because I already know what's coming and don't get to be surprised, so I just have to go off what readers tell me to know if something is hitting right or not).
I'd love to write some hard-hitting angst one day and (separately) I'd also love to write some enthralling romance. Some people who follow my current work might find some of that upsetting, but someday I'd like to start a new project where I do this sort of thing.

I couldn't help myself, I went on a quest to find a movie worse than this. A bit hard, because iMDb doesn't let you sort by the lowest rated 250, but I managed.
BEHOLD! The movies that managed to get a worse rating than Snow White!
Pledge this!
I actually saw this one when I was, uh, probably way too young for it. It's about Paris Hilton being a sadistic tyrant of some posh university and it includes charming scenes of her making aspiring college students eat leftover sushi from dog bowls and spraying whipped cream on her boyfriend's dick to make her dog give him a blowjob. Definitely worse than Snow White, right?
Well-
Enough people thought it was at least ironically funny to give it a 3.7 mean so it's, technically, NOT worse than Snow White. I guess Paris Hilton is at least hot.
Next, we have:
A very promising title! Apparently it's a sequel of a Turkish film 'The Man Who Saved the World', (which in itself is apparently 'Turkish Star Wars') and which one reviewer called 'mindbogglingly awful'. Hold on, let me show you the funniest part of one review:
This movie is so bad it interferes with one's inner peace! Surely not even Snow White is THAT bad.
Except-
To be fair, Turks in Space is a sequel of a problematic cult favorite, so it still manages to have some fans. My condolences to the person whose inner peace was disturbed, I hope you moved to a Tibetan monastery in 2019 and haven't had internet acess since. Hell, 2024 would be be better than seeing this.
Okay, by now iMDb algorhythm or whatever it is has figured out what I want and grudgingly started offering me its worst rated movies. Unfortunately...
It turns out it's REALLY FUCKING HARD to make a movie that is so universally unappealing. Even the worst movies so far have at least a dozen people who gave it a pity rating and a few maniacs who think it's unintentionally the best thing ever. Finding something below 1.8 is actually pretty hard!
But I prevailed and found this!
It's a very bad german vanity film about... I don't know, some guy who won a talent show once? The reviews speak for themselves:
'Cultural equivalent of stoning the viewer to death'. Wow. Have we finally found the most universally hated movie of all-
NOPE! Turns out even camcorder vanity projects have their fans. And mind you, this movie at least didn't cost 250 million to make! Considering how cheap it looks and that some people went to war with the German Amazon to track it down, I think it actually made more money than it cost anyway.
And so my search for a movie hated more than Snow White continues!
I'm howling, I know shit about the newest Snow White Disney regurgitation but I just clicked on it on iMDb and-
1.8 stars????? I didn't think that was possible. I clicked on it and-
IT'S EVEN FUCKING LOWER THAN THAT IF YOU DON'T COUNT THE OBVIOUSLY PAID-FOR 10S. Like even the other two recent disasters are higher than that!
This is where it occured to me to check something and-
IT'S RATED SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER THAN A MOVIE MADE PURPOSEFULLY TO BE AS GROSS AND HORRIBLE AS POSSIBLE. HOW THE FUCK DO YOU EVEN MANAGE THAT??????
IT'S EVEN WORSE THAN THE SEQUEL OF A SEQUEL OF A HORROR MOVIE MADE EXCLUSIVELY BECAUSE TOM CARDY MADE A SONG ABOUT IT.
I think I'm going to pirate this and watch it out of sheer morbid curiosity.

You’re so Pretty When you…
BAABEL x Gn! READER
DACAPO x Gn! READER
SCHNEIDER x Gn! READER
(All separate)
Genre: Fluff
A/n: I’m feeling the Orion brothers today so this is what you get👍 so sorry for not doing any orders! I just need to get back in a mental process of having my own creativity atm, so sorry for all those orders that have been sent to me! Love you all!! (ALL PARTS ARE VERYYYY SHORT)

You’re so Pretty When you…SING
Dacapo loves your voice and the fact that you can sing just sends him. He loves the way you sing and the way you use your voice to make something sound so lovely.
He first heard your voice when you were in your room watching a Tik Tok, you were singing the song “Vampire” by Olivia Rodrigo. He opened the door and went up to you and said…
“You’re so pretty when you sing.”

You’re so Pretty When you…DANCE
Baabel loves to see the way you can just make any place a place where you can dance, you could make your own dance floor without one even being there. When he heard music, he knew what was coming. Though your passion for dance got others to dance with you on the streets like you did.
He first found out your passion for dance when you were waiting for him to go with you on an errand run and saw you dancing to some music you put on while waiting.
“You’re so pretty when you dance.”

You’re so Pretty When you…STARGAZE
Now. You and Schneider loved to stargaze but Schneider didn’t look at the stars, he looked at you, and your calm self winding down for the day, ready to fall asleep next to each other.
He was actually the one to get you into stargazing, you two would go outside, your arms wrapped around his arm with your head in his shoulder. He loved and lived for it, he loved and lived for you.
“You’re so pretty when you stargaze.”

Kilin & Linlin from season 2 of Live Animation: Heart x Algorhythm?
Kilin is an AI, and is the “original” personality, however after an accident, Kilin faints and a “beta” personality (later dubbed Linlin) comes forward instead!
They’re very distinct and have seperate memories, drives, likes and speaking patterns!
There’s no English dub of the show and the subtitles only work in the 2D animated sections, so it is a little tricky to watch if you don’t speak some Japanese or Chinese (it was produced in both languages) but it’s available on the Tacitly / Heart x Algorhythm project YouTube channel, and in our opinion, is an excellent, non-biased, accidental example of plurality!!
We have a fictive of the other main character from the series; Xi
As we cannot find anything substantial on any wikis without directly watching it, its going in maybe/look over later for now! Thanks!

So now, I have a project that I thought up the seeds of for a little over a year before it actually happened.
Introducing: The Algorhythms Podcast. Every (main) episode, we will be ranking (from least-to-most) all the main albums of a band's discography. In the future, there will be side episodes (like Top 10 Songs, Top solos, etc) to accompany the main episodes. But I figured I would have the first episode serve as an extended introduction and as a training ground for establishing a groove between the co-hosts.
I know my cohosts through convos one-on-one with me and them. But this is the first time my co-hosts (Soren and Duke) have spoken with each other. I think they hit it off pretty well.
I am also in-talks with a potential video editor for eventually uploading these onto YouTube. This same person I'm in-talks with is also an artist and I can commission stuff like character portraits and a proper logo from him.
While this episode is focused on Queen (and yes, we are counting Flash Gordon and The Cosmos Rocks, so 16 albums total), the 2nd and 3rd episodes will be recorded within the next month. Episode 2 will be focused on Van Halen (Soren's pick) and Episode 3 will be based on Coldplay (Duke's pick).
I personally don't care if this blows up or not. Sure, becoming huge would be nice. But I like doing this enough that that is--in a way--it's own reward.
I may ask some folks affiliated with a given artist in the future as a guest someday. For instance, I know that one of my old college professors would not pass up appearing on a future David Bowie episode someday.
I should note that the mic quality is rough (the episode was recorded with laptops and phones) and I did some sorting about, but it IS a first episode. I think of it as a raw pilot episode that serves to establish the foundation that I will later refine.
