You mean to tell me... that all this time... I've been seeing all this random algorithmy content... because Tumblr forced me to follow tags when I signed up?!?!?!

I do wonder if it's also related to an increased presence of algorithmic feeds.
Like, if a thing is presented *for you*, on your personal dashboard, and you view it because it's been pushed onto you, and then it's not for you.... does that increase the chance of someone short-circuiting and launching into "What about me"?
This also very much applies to fanfics. Some people need to take a step back and think before they make straight fools out of themselves.

Weird. My dash was all poetry recommendations and algorithmy. Good stuff though. Guess I've been tickling the right tumblr parts to get content for me. But I got annoyed trying to rummage through the overload to find blogs I actually follow. So I checked if my dashboard settings changed. Nope. More annoyance. But then when I returned my dash was back to normal. What in the fuckery?

followed by a math girl 😵‍💫😍 i have so much respect for u + ur people (mathematicians) i still dont rly get what a negative nukmber is. teach me a fun math fact pleeeaassee (even tho we arent friends yet ur bio made me so curious)
ooh hehe 1. i should probably update my intro im aconite and im more of a cat than a person or girl nowadays tho still in the area of girl
2. no one ever takes me up on that hehe :3
soooo if that's ur level im gonna assume ur joking but also my first idea for a "relatively low level" thing was induction versus strong induction, which is a Fundamentals of Proofs sorta topic which is! easy enough but functions in a context u likely have no experience in!
so instead im gonna pull up some dates for understanding of 0 and the creation of negatives and such!
first of all tho the fun thing to remember is:
the greeks? those bitches never even dreamt of 0. Pythagoras, Plato with his solids and his platonic ideals? they couldn't even tolerate the barest idea that we could numerically represent an absence, a null, with such a clever and useful tool as 0.
the romans aren't even worth mentioning. i could do an aside about the greeks and irrational numbers but i think u might be starting to realize how rambly i am already ^-^
there are ancient uses of symbols to represent similar ideas to 0, but the oldest proper 0, naught, that we have record of is from the Mayans and probably Olmecs as well, and apparently we have records dated to ~36 bce of that! babylonians had a *placeholder 0,* which the greeks adopted, but that was really just for writing out long numbers, like 101, where it simply represents an absence in the enumeration of digits, nyea? the greeks and romans did start to use their placeholder 0 in astronomical calculations and such but nor in formal mathematics so much, still as the additive identity (the extremely convenient property of not changing a value when added to it) but not so much for its other useful properties (everything going to it when multiplied by it, for instance).
china also had a placeholder 0 for a long while
but where we started seeing 0 used as an actual, proper number that we can do math on is in india, then it travelled via islamic scholarship around. apparently the word root for algorithm is from the persian scholar Muhammad ibn Musa Al-Khwarizmi, whose multiplication tables in the 800s ce came to be known in the european powers in the 1100s under the latin title "algorithmi de numero Indorum." so 0 took a long time to spread but really did revolutionize math everywhere it was used.
it's weird and difficult to explain just how much of modern mathematics rests entirely on the concept of 0 as an identity, but it really does!
anyways negatives are an abstraction and they were made to represent subtracting an amount, they're very useful numbers in their own right as a result but that's literally the whole idea. -1 is what you would need to add to 1 to achieve the goal of subtracting and reaching 0, since subtraction was very much invented before negatives :3
one of my favorite numerical bases is base -2, as in u count the digits as 1, -2, 4, -8, 16, -32 etc. very cutesy, forms a legitimate and intensely annoying counting system, practically useless as such but can be helpful to think about

just got the blazed bird post on my dash, definitely suggests that blazes aren't randomly assigned
Ohhh more data ty! How odd, I feel like it's got to be an unintended consequence of some algorithmy thing somehow because it would be too crazy to do this on purpose. When I was setting up the blaze I put #birds when it asked for a tag to help target the post and you reblog a good amount of bird content so it's less weird than it might be, still feels like a big coincidence though...

yeah i suspect it kinda goes both ways tho like if u keep posting eventually u accumulate followers and mutuals, but also lots of people join, don't get much interaction, and then stop posting
i don't have data for any of that
How does one gain followers on this god-forsaken app? Huh? Whaddya want? Memes? Commentary? Politics? Piss? What pleases you people?

I opened up the Tumblr on mobile today. Mostly I read by rss (so specific posts from specific blogs, not the dash), and even when I do have the dash I also have xkit so no recommended or commercial posts.
I truly did not know. It's so algorithmy! How do y'all live like this?

i guess the way i think of it is. if i was on netflix or whatever and i was bingewatching a show, i would, in some way, be monetarily supporting the people who made that show. and so this is why whenever i start getting obsessive about a youtube channel i sniff out a kofi or a patreon and i sign up for a bit. like not always for very long. and like i know they can get ad money but that's basically nothing. and i'm very bad at commenting and liking and other algorithmy things. and like, if i'm sending retroclaude like £3 a month or marleneknits a fiver or whatever, like, that's quite a small amount of money for what i'm getting. and it's like i CAN get it for free. but that few pounds a month can and does make a difference to people, like, directly and immediately, in a way you can see. and so for me, paying for it when i Can pay for it is an investment in the kinds of things i like and that make a difference To Me. and it means that those people can keep doing stuff for free, which is cool and good

no nyt tuli aika valittaa tyhjyyteen ku mua tympäsee tää asia.
mut mä en pysty etsimään esim rain world + suomi posteja koska tän sivun hakukone on nii täysi vitsi.
sama ongelma youtubessa, vaikka sen hakukone on paljon parempi, nii jos mä yritän etsiä pelejä niiden nimellä JA suomi/videopeli/läpipeluu, ni eihän sieltä siltikään perkele tule esille muuta kun enkun kielisiä videoita, ja youtube ei anna sun saneerata hakuja valitsemalla minkä kielisiä videoita haluaa katsoa, vaikka videot antavat sun täydentää infoa siitä minkä kielinen se on ku sä laitat sen youtubeen.
✨no ainakin sit ku ne random suomalaiset löytyy samoista fandomeista nii siinä on aina hauska yllätys ✨
Tumblr media
ei oo mitään hajua kuinka moni mun seuraajista on suomalaisia mut jos joku on niin herrajestas auttakkee

Winning Trading Strategy
How to Build a Winning Trading Strategy
Tumblr media
17 March 2025. 10 min read
Success in trading is not about random luck—it’s about having a well-structured, data-driven strategy that consistently generates profits. Whether you trade stocks, forex, cryptocurrencies, or commodities, having a winning trading strategy is crucial for long-term success. At Crypstox Trading Academy, we help traders develop proven methodologies that integrate technical analysis, risk management, and AI-driven insights. This blog will walk you through the essential steps to build a profitable trading strategy that aligns with your trading goals.
Define Your Trading Goals and Style
Before you start, it’s important to define your trading objectives. Are you looking for short-term gains through day trading, or do you prefer a longer-term approach such as swing trading or investing? Your risk tolerance also plays a key role in determining the right strategy. Some traders thrive in high-frequency environments, executing multiple trades daily, while others prefer a more calculated approach with fewer but well-analyzed trades. Understanding your trading style will help you develop a strategy that suits your strengths and market preferences.
Select the Right Market and Instruments
Not all financial markets behave the same way, so choosing the right one is critical. If you prefer a structured market influenced by company earnings and economic indicators, stocks may be the right choice. Forex, on the other hand, offers high liquidity and around-the-clock trading opportunities. Cryptocurrencies present significant volatility, making them ideal for traders who can handle risk and rapid price movements. Commodities like gold and oil are heavily impacted by macroeconomic trends and geopolitical events. Selecting the right market based on your knowledge and risk appetite will improve your chances of success.
Develop a Technical and Fundamental Analysis Approach
A well-rounded trading strategy incorporates both technical and fundamental analysis. Technical analysis focuses on price charts, using tools like moving averages, RSI, MACD, and Bollinger Bands to identify trends and potential entry points. Chart patterns such as head & shoulders, flags, and triangles also play a key role in predicting price movements. Meanwhile, fundamental analysis evaluates economic reports, company earnings, and geopolitical events to understand the broader market sentiment. By combining both approaches, traders can make more informed decisions and increase their chances of profitability.
Create a Risk Management Plan
Risk management is the backbone of a winning trading strategy. Without it, even the best strategies can lead to significant losses. Essential risk management techniques include setting stop-loss and take-profit levels to prevent emotional decision-making. A good rule of thumb is to maintain a risk-reward ratio of at least 1:2, meaning for every $100 risked, you aim to make $200 in profit. Additionally, position sizing should be carefully managed—never risk more than 2% of your total capital on a single trade. Diversification across different assets also helps reduce exposure to unpredictable market swings.
Backtest and Optimize Your Strategy
A strategy is only as good as its historical performance. Backtesting involves applying your trading rules to past market data to assess its effectiveness. By analyzing key performance metrics such as win rate, drawdown, and profit factor, traders can refine their approach and make necessary adjustments. Optimizing the strategy based on real-world conditions ensures better adaptability and higher success rates when applied in live markets.
Use AI and Algorithmic Trading Tools
In today’s digital age, traders have access to advanced AI-driven insights that can significantly enhance decision-making. AI-powered bots help in identifying market patterns and executing trades with precision. Algorithmic trading tools allow for high-frequency trading and automated order execution, reducing the impact of human emotions on trading decisions. Machine learning models are also being used to predict price movements, providing traders with an additional edge in highly volatile markets.

Execute Your Trades with Discipline
Once your strategy is in place, execution with discipline is crucial. Stick to your predefined plan and avoid chasing trades based on emotions. Keeping a trading journal to record all trades helps track performance and identify areas for improvement. The best traders continuously analyze their results, refine their strategies, and adapt to evolving market conditions. Consistency and discipline separate successful traders from those who struggle in the long run.
Conclusion: Master the Art of Trading with Crypstox Trading Academy
Building a winning trading strategy requires a combination of research, discipline, and adaptability. At Crypstox Trading Academy, we provide the knowledge and AI-driven tools to help traders maximize their profitability. Whether you’re a beginner looking to develop a strong foundation or an experienced trader seeking to refine your approach, mastering the right strategy is the key to long-term success.
