Ohh yeah, Your eyes are not deceiving you, Ash Ketchum has changed.... for the next Pokemon Anime vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/po… when Sun & Moon finally ends and the Clone's Storyline finally ends, This is the Real Ash Ketchum, And he has been altered to a Degree, And it's sort of a Mix between XY ash and the Sun and Moon version, And.... to be honest.... I do like this new look for him, In-Universe Its possible how Ash altered it this loo may have been the Result of all 55 of the Pretty Cure All Stars inner light changing him.... At first I was afraid Ash was never gonna return in the Anime, But his Japanese Voice Actress put a rest to that claiming his Adventures is not over, It's amazing how much he's changed i.imgur.com/e9cnXq9.jpg

Also... with This new change of the Character and he's' still the same Age as he was in 1997, It's given me the opportunity to proceed with the Cure Master concept with Ideas from the Blueprints fav.me/ddcv5f6 But in the Blueprints as I would call the original Concept, the costume looked too familiar with his Kanto Costume which was the Idea with the Gold symbols of each of the Precure teams from the All Stars Pantheon, So I took some big libraries with the concept and came up with a Costume that's fits in line, His Cure Master Costume is a Set of Precure Armour that takes some inspiration from the Male PreCures from Hugtto PreCure, Even Jonathan Klondike AKA Joe Okada's suit of Armour, I did keep the Symbols of the Respected PreCure teams, They are Engraved in the Armour, In an edition, Ash now has a Sword called Blade of a True Pokemon Master and a Shield titled PreCure's loving Protection... if you look closely to it, You'll see the Angle figures on it are modelled in the forms of Nagisa Misumi AKA Cure Black and Honoka Yukishiro AKA Cure White, He's Research book is now complete with info linking the PreCures with there Respected Zodiacs, And he also has that Shard of the Miracle Star still giving off ever as you can see, Pikachu now possesses a Cloak of Levitation... Which Heartcatch PreCure use... I've been updating my page all day and I'm shocked that someone clicks on the hearts under my posts, and even reposted twice. And so I update again and there is this message. I decided to answer in a very detailed way and speak out.

The first reaction to your message, dear anonymous, was...It hit me like an electric shock. The second reaction is "Run." It was in my head: delete everything quickly, it's not right; you've ruined everything; you've offended people; they'll come for you; there will be huge consequences. Because I am very worried about posting my thoughts, creating and formatting these posts. I thought to immediately stop everything, delete that I had failed again. There were positive reactions, and I relaxed, and I started thinking about other posts that I wanted to do tomorrow.

And then suddenly bang! No greeting, no explanation.

I may have read it in the wrong tone, but I'm typing it with trembling hands because I feel like a schoolgirl in front of the principal.

Maybe it's a mess...

That's what I wanted to say. There is a post on my page in which I said that I was just learning how to use tumblr. I don't quite understand publication etiquette yet. For example, someone posts a photo with the signature of the source, and someone does not. When making my posts, I used one gif that I found on my phone (I don't even know where I saved it from, from which social network) and I made one myself, but when I made a post about the Red Bull Ring, I inserted a link, as I took it directly from their page.

God, why am I doing this?

I'm writing all this to show how "rookie on tumblr" behaves. On your part, you're trying to restore justice, but from my side, it looks like a reproach. I was born in the year of the rabbit. I'm scared and uncomfortable right now. If you just said, "Hi, this gif was made by this wonderful person, it's not good to publish it without the author's signature," I think we would all feel better.

Please be kinder to the people starting their journey here. Guide us, help us fix mistakes, and don't try to shame us.

What's your opinion on the subject of filler and episodic television? Is it "dying" as some have bleated on about? Are stories that keep up plot momentum better or worse?

By "episodic," I don't strictly mean that there's never any continuity so much as the Myth Arc across a given season is flexiable enough so certain episodes can be ordered a certain way with enough care. By contrast, any given Netflix series may be episodic but with a set order that cannot be flexible.

First off, we have GOT to clearly define the word "filler" so people can stop misusing it. "Filler" occurs when a show is being adapted from a different original source (typically manga, games, or visual novels), but the studio ordered more episodes than are needed to complete the adaptation, and writers must create additional episodes full of stories NOT included in the source material in order to "fill" the episode quota. You can usually spot this in extremely long-running anime series when the plot catches up to source manga (Dragon Ball, One Piece, Bleach, etc) and the writers have to get creative while they wait for a new volume of source material to be released.

Anyway, what was the question again? Oh right, episodic shows.

Serial vs episodic: neither is better or worse, they're two different types of storytelling, and they work to different ends. I'm a fan of both honestly!

Episodic shows only seem to be "dying" because there's been a huge rise in the popularity of serial shows lately. If watching reaction channels has taught me anything, it's that modern audiences have started really undervaluing episodes that don't drive the plot forward or reveal new Lore or Character Development. And y'know, it's fine to have a preference for serial shows, I get that, but I don't understand the sheer disdain for light-hearted episodes or self-contained adventures that don't lead into something bigger. You can blame Marvel movies if you like, but I blame TVTropes and CinemaSins and Youtube comment sections personally. These places have fostered and created a generation of people who LOVE feeling they're somehow "smarter" than the show they're watching, rather than just, y'know, watching the show and coming to their own conclusions all the same.

I have a special fondness for episodic shows that take on a mini adventure every episode. A staple of my childhood was a show called Mighty Max, about a kid who fell into the possession of a magic baseball cap that could open hidden portals that took him all over the world. Every episode, he and his two semi-immortal guardians would be tasked with saving people from weird B-movie sci-fi and horror creatures, which required them to travel to foreign countries on the regular. Max would get a message that the world was in peril and have to find a portal located in some completely random location, - for example, the frozen food aisle of a local grocery store - that would drop him off in the middle of the wilderness in Sumatra or an ancient castle in Scotland or wherever. By the end of each episode, the world would be saved and Max would try to get home before curfew so he wouldn't get in trouble with his mom, and before the credits, would take a moment to talk about the geography and culture of the place he visited in that episode. No overarcing plot (just some occasional recurring villains), just a classic case of Putting A Guy In A Situation, and it played a huge part in my love of travel and culture and geography, which then led to my love other multi-cultural media, like Cowboy Bebop, The Fifth Element, and Adventure Time.

^ That's the sort of thing modern audiences seem to dislike though. Episodic shows aren't "dying" so much as people are just less fond of them than Serial ones these days.

I genuinely don't have the words to describe how much I loved your post. A really close friend of mine is a disabled AI artist who has been doing AI art with their own self built and self hosted tools in their own niche corner of the internet long before it became what it is today and I've seen them get severely harassed over it over and over again. They've been sent death threats, gore, have been called subhuman and have been doxxed and stalked. And so any time I see posts about AI art (especially on twitter) I can't help but grit my teeth and get really angry over all the fear mongering and misinformation about possible harm in the form of "art theft" that caused actual real harm to someone I care deeply about.

I'm always trying to direct people's attention to actual problems and actual solutions regarding AI (job security, the solution to which are labor regulation and stronger unions) but everyone always comes back to "it's not real art" and "it's theft" the solution to which is "expand copyright, a system that famously has always been good for art and artists"

I'm so glad you liked my little comic-essay-post! I'm a little surprised at how much traction it got, as it's not the first time I've made something like it, just the first time I talked about AI. I usually get like 30 notes max on my original stuff, maybe a couple hundred if it's fanart.

Real sorry about your friend, I hope they're safe. I think it's awesome that they self-host their tools. I do too, using a VPS and Yunohost, with my portfolio and email and link shorteners and other bits and bobs. Next project is getting Stable Diffusion working online :3 It's shocking how reactionary and vile people can be over all of this. They're doing Disney's copyright propaganda for them, lol. Again I wish the best for your friend!

It's also amusing how people can't separate the medium from the companies, or don't know that it's even possible to use AI without paying. If it's free to use and you're making things for fun, how is it "stealing"? What does "owning art" even mean? People stop their analysis at "AI = stealing = bad" and don't address any of the details within, then end up cheering on the Internet Archive being attacked.

How art labor is treated is very much a problem like you say. I'm a freelancer, I'm not in a union. A start-up company I made concept art/visdev/design for "owns" the work I did for them, I had to ask to display it in my own portfolio... with credit to the company. Felt strange to me, but it's normal practice. That's copyright law at work! How is that "good" for me??

Chan: Daddy Issues- The Neighborhood

You saw this coming, I know you did. This song is absolutely delicious, its delectable, and its so correct for Bang Chan Stans. He even called himself our Daddy at one point. Additionally, this song is so weirdly sweet? Its about a genuinely loving person, who wants to be there for the other person. There’s an almost gentle vibe to it, if you get over how blatantly sexy it is, which checks out for Bang Chan, tbh. I really can’t explain what about the vibe just screams Chan, but I know you can feel it. 

Lee Know: Teeth- 5 Seconds of Summer

Lets be real, Lee Know is one of the sassiest mfers on the planet, and we love him for that. This song is definitely about a toxic ass relationship, but its still so sexy. The line “fight so dirty, but you love so sweet” just sounds so much like Minho that its crazy. This song really sounds like it was made for Minho, and there’s been a couple of fantastic edits to this song. 

Changbin: Levitate- Hollywood Undead

THIS SONG!! So it’s my favorite HU song, and its so sexy and cocky. Lets be real, so is Changbin. More than that, the lyrics are shockingly deep. Changbin is such a smart guy under all those rippling muscles, and I feel like that isn’t brought up enough. I can’t really imagine Changbin singing this song, but I could see it playing in the background around him all the time. Now Changbin fans are no doubt some of the horniest Stray Kids fans so a super horny HU song just seems correct. 

Hyunjin: Bubblegum Bitch- Marina and the Diamonds

So this song is fun, its sexy, and its all about confidence. On the outset, it just seems to be about having fun and being a flirt, but its actually about accepting and loving every aspect of yourself. Its that thing that calls me to Hyunjin. He’s confident, chic, and very art pop vibes. I don’t know if I want to see him dance to this song, or I want to scream the lyrics with him while we drunkenly dance around in our pjs. 

Han: Ain’t My Fault- Zara Larson

I’m about to be super biased, so bear with me. Objectively, this song doesn’t really seem like Jisung, a lot of the time he’s actually a awkward and weird dude. However! There are times when he’s a very sexy, confident dude. This feels like the kind of song he would enjoy. Just don’t imagine meeting him in a club and dancing to this song. And definitely don’t imagine him wearing a leather jacket. 

Felix: Lights Down Low- Max

So listen, I love this song! Its fun and funky and makes me wanna dance. Its a surprisingly sweet love song wrapped in a fire melody. The vocals are beautiful and the whole song feels like when Felix’s eyes get all sparkly. Its about finding a person that feels like divinity, and getting the chance to love them. Felix is our gentle angel and this song should play every time he walks in the room. 

Seungmin: Love Me Like You Do- Elli Goulding

I know you expected a Day6 song for our young gentleman, however a simple song like this suits him so much more. The vocals alone strike me as something he’d rock, but additionally the sweet message and gorgeous melody suit him as well. Moreso, the wordplay really works with our sassy puppy Seungmin. I can see him dancing with his S/O and singing this song all soft and sweet. (i cry)

I.N.: Maknae on Top- Stray Kids

Hear me out: I literally can’t think of any song that suits him more. The beat is catchy, its a little cocky, and it cements him as THE Maknae on Top. Jeonginnie, like this song, is a bit weird, but overall, the coolest. This song was literally made for him, so it would make sense that it would be the perfect song for him. It should be playing every time he walks into a room, and he should have to do the little dance.

I'm watching an old Sliders episode where the group are all stranded in a shopping centre. Everyone who is stranded there lives and works in the shopping centre, with no way out. I'm a little bothered by how real it feels.

They earn $200 a day, half is deducted for housing. They're also required to spend at least $80 at the shopping centre a day or they are docked three weeks pay, so they can only save, max, $20 a day. If they try to escape without paying your debts, they have a bracelet that shocks you if you go out of your approved zone.

Their every move is recorded and watched on monitor-- and if you are caught not up-selling, you are penalised. The professor is fired because (dressed as Santa) he tries to teach the children in the queue that money isn't everything.

Television is just adverts. No actual shows. Just adverts. 24/7. And embedded in the adverts are subliminal messages convincing everyone to buy anything and everything. Then they give you credit cards to purchase everything, and you are legally owned by the credit card company if you can't pay on demand.

In the end, they find the villain who is doing all of this illegally. But I feel like if this actually happened in real life, now? The guy would get a payrise and a 500M bonus and a private jet.
