Dehya + Arlecchino Forgotten!Creator AU
Tumblr media
A proper response to @ninjacomix sorry for the wait!
Dehya
Tumblr media
You woke up in the deserts of Sumeru when you first arrived in Teyvat, so it’s no surprise that the first people you met were Eremites
Unlike the Traveler, you are not immediately attacked- half because of your divinity subtly making them more docile, and half because you’re covered in sand and dressed in foreign clothes and practically melting under the sun- and yeah, you look too pathetic to rob
They end up taking you back to Aaru Village, and that’s where you end up meeting Dehya.
Well, technically you meet Dehya the day after you arrive, when you rush outside during a sandstorm and spot her fighting monsters
It’s a bit surreal, watching an actual fight like this, and you’re frozen in awe
At least until you notice the Rifthound sneaking up on her
You’re panicking as you lunge forward, feeling something begin to expand inside you, and-
Everything is still
Both the storm and the Rifthounds are frozen in place, and Dehya is looking at you, extremely confused
“What is this?!?” “HOW SHOULD I KNOW?!?!” “YOU’RE THE ONE DOING IT!!!!”
Dehya dispatches the Rifthounds quickly, and the sandstorm resumes
And the next day, the both of you set out towards the Akademiya, wanting to figure out what your deal is
(You don’t realize that now the gods are remembering the creator, the Akademiya is Scrambling to find any and all information on you and why they forgot you)
During the journey the both of you grow close, and a few weeks in, the both of you wrapped in a blanket to protect from the chill of a desert night, you turn to her.
“Hey, let’s get married.”
And after choking on her water, she agrees to it
Congratulations! You have a wife!
The Creator, showing up hand in hand with an Eremite is not what an Akademiya scholar expected to see at four in the morning on a random day, but that is what he saw- and he thinks the subsequent panic is very understandable
Before you know it, you and your new wife are sitting in the acting grand sages office as Nahida uses some kind of Archon communication to page the other Archons
It takes about an hour for them to burst through the door
(In that time you’ve taught Alhaitham and Dehya how to play Rock Paper Scissors, Go Fish, Uno, and you’re in the middle of teaching them slapjack. Alhaithams hands are suspiciously red and Dehya is smirking)
They’re instantly fretting over you, apologizing for forgetting you and generally praising you, completely overwhelming until Dehya pulls you away
“Hey! Who are you supposed to be!” It’s Venti, disappointed that his god has been taken from him
“That’s my wife!” You state proudly.
And then everything clicks
“Wait, I’m a god?”
The room explodes in noise, but Dehya’s hand never leaves yours
Arlecchino
Tumblr media
When it comes to Arlecchino, instead of taking you to Aaru Village, you ask them to take you to the border of Fontaine
You’ve only made it to the end of Sumeru in the Archon Quests- maybe if you head to Fontaine now, you’ll get to see the Archon Quest in person!
It’s only once you’ve taken the Aquabus to the Court of Fontaine that you realize you do not have a single mora on your person.
It’s after a day of exploring that you end up near the sea, and after being startled by a giant crab appearing from nowhere (It was Very Scary I promise) you end up tumbling into the water, you’re trapped under, and-
Wait… you can still breathe!
You light up with excitement, diving deeper, and that begins your life as a diver.
You end up becoming a collector, selling cool shells and oddities to anyone in the Court who’s willing to buy them (You’ve built up a pretty good rapport with the supply manager of Chiori’s Boutique)
It’s also underwater that you discover you’re the creator- finding an old abandoned temple with murals of a god that look just like you, helping you make sense of the power beneath your skin
But hey, if no one else was gonna bring it up, you wouldn’t either
And it’s underwater that you end up meeting your first Fatui member: Freminet
He was surprised when he first saw you swimming around- but now he’s grown pretty accustomed to you, and sometimes you guys even interact
Admittedly, sound doesn’t travel well underwater, so most of your communication is via charades, but the two of you end up growing close
Freminet shows you cool diving spots, you collect valuables from the ocean floor together, swim together in blissful silence, and play with all the friendly ocean animals you seem to attract
It only takes about a month for Freminet to begin mentally referring to you as mother (This boy is starved of a parental figure)
And after that it only takes a week before he slips up
He’s waiting in Father’s office, looking around as he waits for him to arrive
It’s pretty sparsely decorated- but there are a few ornaments still left around.
“Mother would like this…” Freminet muses, looking at a small model boat, delicate and intricately carved.
A flash of heat at his back. “… What did you just say?”
After a very long and frantic explanation, and a slightly shorter lecture on stranger danger, Arlecchino demands to meet you.
You first meet the harbinger after a day diving with Freminet, and he shoots you an apologetic look as you both surface to find a harbinger on the shore
And then you make eye contact
Your thoughts: That is a harbinger. From the Fatui. Huh. I’m going to pretend not to know that.
Arlecchino’s thoughts: That is the Creator that The Tsaritsa told me to look out for. They have the exact same appearance. I will pretend not to know that.
Arlecchino asks you to tea to get to know you better, and it devolves from there.
At your tea party, she introduces herself as a completely normal orphanage matron, and you’re polite enough to not point out that her brooch is a tiny Fatui emblem
You introduce yourself as a normal diver and she ignores the fact that your spoon has been stirring sugar into your tea without you even touching it
Your relationship continues in a similar fashion, with the both of you pretending to be a completely normal couple
After a few months, when both of you are getting married, you both ignore the oddities of your guests
“Ah, darling, the Fatui are here.” “Oh yes, they sponsor my orphanage, how polite of them to come.”
“Angel, Morax is here.” “Huh. Isn’t he supposed to be dead?” “Yes.” “Well, I’m glad he could make it.”
The both of you continue with intense purposeful ignorance
Venti: Your grace, do you really want to marry the harbinger? Is she threatening you?
You: What harbinger? I’m marrying a completely normal and totally average orphanage owner. So kind and generous she is.
Arlecchino, in the background, kicking Childe for trying to start a fight at her wedding, pausing to turn and wave: Hello.
Also Freminet is the flower girl

interactions and comments appreciated!
Tumblr media
being in a relationship with zhongli is exhilarating. it is calm and a rush all at the same time. invigorating, perhaps.
liyue, the city of contracts, is always bustling with something new and exciting each day. the harbor specifically hails as a place that showcases the customs and traditions in the most beautiful ways.
the smell of freshly made grilled tiger-fish and chopped suey perfuming the air, and the shine of the beautifully crafted kites the nice old lady sells only make up a few traits the harbor carries. there’s also the bustle of the shops, selling different types of flowers and fruits and jewels ranging from jade to lapis.
as much as liyue is your home, there couldn’t be a better place of solace than in your boyfriend.
over the course of knowing him, he’s taught and shown you many things. and one of those things just happens to be the way of love. you have never been that involved before in a romantic relationship before he came along. but once he did, you could barely remember what life was like before him.
being that zhongli is now ‘mortal’, there are many things about him that still stand out from regular human beings. of course, this all makes sense when considering his reptilian nature at hand.
his eyes, a piercing aurelian color are a stark contrast to any other pair you’ve seen. they closely resemble two pieces of raw cor lapis.
the man is large—not necessarily very muscular, but lean and slender in all the right ways. he’s also a lot taller than the average person, having you crane your head up at times just to hold decent eye contact with him.
you often were bashful and easily embarrassed in front of zhongli, but he only ever has been very understanding and patient. a wise and well respected man with an eclectic taste for history and knowledge. there’s nothing about him that isn’t amazing.
“is this okay?”
zhongli’s voice breaks you from your thoughts. the gravel of it warms your tummy and sends shivers down your spine. his eyes seem to be looking through you in tantalizing yet understanding way.
“you seem conflicted over something. what’s troubling your mind, darling?” he inquires, tilting his head to the side. his obsidian locks, ends dipped in pure bronze, cascade down his back beautifully and you wonder if there’s ever anything this man does that could be deemed unattractive.
he asks these questions all while kneeling in front of your leaking cunt. like your nude body isn’t completely visible and vulnerable before him. but murmurs of your beauty and rarity cause you to relax and confess your thoughts.
“i just—“ you pause, apprehensive, “i’ve never done this before.”
there’s a look that flashes in his eyes, but only for a brief moment before changing to contemplation. “ah, i see.”
heart racing, you think that he’s about to pull out of the moment you two share. that he’d judge you for your lack of experience.
the feeling of a gloved hand on your cheek makes your heart skip a beat. “there’s nothing to be worried about. i will make extra sure to go at your pace. as long as you still trust me to lead, of course. i will make sure you’re comfortable, dearest.”
zhongli kisses the inside of your thigh, peering at you with subtle glee. to tell the truth, his mind can’t help but think of all the ways he’d tease and break you. but you don’t need to know that—at least not yet. when the time comes he’d explore that. for as long as he’s lived, waiting is something that doesn’t concern him. your wellbeing will always come first.
“okay…” you breathe, spreading your legs more for him at his request.
“always so precious and good for me, are you?” he hums with delight. your face blooms with heat but you nod meekly.
he continues, “you’ll tell me what you like, yes? while i eat this cunt out?”
your boyfriend’s blunt words strike your heart (and core) all at once.
zhongli squeezes your thighs in warning, “i need a verbal response, or i will stop.”
“yes, li.” you murmur, sending him a nervous grin.
“thank you, my love.” he smiles before moving over you. a ghostly sigh leaves you as his hands caress you hips, holding you in place with little effort.
his tongue, unusually long, sneaks out and swipes at your core. there’s a hum of satisfaction once your essence hits his buds. after tediously circling the outside of your leaking hole, it plunges forth within you.
even with it being the first time, you’re sure the wet muscle reaches places that no one besides him ever will, and you gasp, hands moving to grasp anything to ground yourself.
“z-zhongli—!” you stutter, words and lungs failing you all at once.
zhongli entwines your hands, squeezing gently to calm you. his free hand, however, only moves over your clit to rile you up further.
he hums again, satisfied with what you gift him when more of your juices evade his tongue.
“it’s been a long time since i’ve tasted something this sweet.” his lithe fingers continuing their motions as he attentively watches your reactions. “i think my tongue will always remember the way you taste.”
your hips have somehow found a way to ride his tongue and he assists by nearly having you fuck yourself on his face.
“i-i-!” you’re unable to warn zhongli of anything as you feel yourself succumbing to a realm of euphoric pleasure, seizing in place. your eyes roll back, and you find yourself facing a blinding light. you wonder if you’ve just died right now and then.
but as soothing hands caress your being and plant kisses on your cheeks, you realize you’re very much still on teyvat.
“ahh, so that’s what you look like cumming.” the archon’s eyes gleam and a hungry look flashes in them. “who knew how beautifully ravishing you’d look.”
not a moment passes before his fingers are on you again, and he slides in two digits.
“i’m sensitive, li! please!” you whine, hands grabbing his wrist.
“you’re doing so well though,” zhongli praises, his tone sweet like nectar. his normally stoic expression to no surprise, is nonexistent with you. the only visible look is love and adoration. “you can cum again, hmm? don’t you think you deserve it?”
tears slip down your face as you nod frantically, “yes!”
his eyes brighten at the way you squirm and try to conceal your whimpers. it’s only then does he realize he must toy with you even further.
the fingers that stilled themselves move again. the sound of lewd squelching filling the room. zhongli doesn’t know how much longer he can hold off before fucking you. the smell of your arousal is overwhelming, to say the least. and dark thoughts of wanting to breed you start to consume his mind.
regardless, you still needed to be prepared to take him. it would be no good if you were uncomfortable.
he works to bring you thus forth to another orgasm, his hand skilled and dexterous as it seeks to pleasure you.
“feels so good li! r-right there!” you gasp, arching up to follow his movements.
a hand soothes your hair and you feel his lips kiss your forehead. “relax dearest, you’re tightening up. just let go.”
it isn’t long before you’re cumming again. losing strength, you collapse fully on your back. you hear your boyfriend chuckle as he sucks the gloves of his fingers clean from your essence.
after giving you time to recover, zhongli gently runs his hands over you.
“darling, why don’t you help me undress. hmm?” he coaxes, moving back to begin to peel off his robes.
you sit up, wobbling as you kneel in front of him and he drags your hand up to his collar.
zhongli leans down, kissing you on the lips. he tastes of whatever tea he’s recently had. and of, well, you.
soon, your boyfriend is undressed, and archons (albeit, him himself) could only tell how it is possible for someone to be so beautiful and handsome, his figure lean and muscular in all the right ways.
it makes you feel weak in the knees how easy it is for zhongli to command attention and control. the way you’re pliant to his will because of how strong he is, allowing for him to hold your jaw in place as his tongue explores your mouth.
the feeling of something heavy and hard against your stomach makes your heart drop. there is no mistaking what it is.
as if sensing your distress, he pulls back from you. “what’s wrong, dear?” he grabs himself, stroking leisurely as he eyes you with quiet mischief.
you swallow, eyes having trouble leveling with his, “w-will it fit?”
you’re cute. too cute, for him. “of course darling,” he taps the head on your drenched clit, the tip catching easily onto your entrance.
“you were made to take me, after all.”
there isn’t anything else said once he sheathes himself fully inside of you.
shared moans fill the room as you both stare at each other for a moment. zhongli is hot and throbbing inside of you, and that alone has you cumming again.
“goodness,” he huffs, composing himself, “you are more sensitive than i thought.”
“ahh-sorry!”
“no need to apologize. it’s perfect. you’re perfect.” zhongli murmurs, kissing the corner of your mouth.
“i’m going to move now, love.” he warns, voice soft.
you nod solemnly, squeezing his hand as a sign of goodwill.
it’s all odd at first, with how full you are, but eventually the discomfort becomes more pleasure than anything else. the way his cock is stroking your walls, hitting every crevice with a kiss, soon has you keening.
grunts fill your ear as zhongli’s pace slowly picks up over time. you think you might be somewhere in the clouds above mt. tianheng.
your boyfriend’s frame cocoons your own. he fucks you like he’s yearned you for eternity. as if he’s been preparing for this moment. his hips move like flowing water, skilled all around.
zhongli’s sharp canines bite into your shoulder, a low growl leaving him as he marks you. he doesn’t mean to blemish your beautiful skin, but the primal part in him can’t help himself.
your moans are like a melody to him, and he thinks he may drown in them and the way that they sound. he starts to think that maybe you yourself are some deity or maybe a siren with the way you have him under your spell.
“li, please, go faster!” you beg, looking up at him with wet eyes, “i-i can take it, i promise!”
“are you sure that’s what you want? i won’t be able to fully hold back if you ask that of me.” he warns.
“yes, please!” you whine, “please, morax!”
before you know it, he’s kissing you again, the sweet taste of him elevating your focus away from the now ruthless snap of his hips.
he gifts you his fingers in your mouth once his lips move over your collarbones and breasts, tongue wrapping around the sensitive nub while his free hand twists the other.
“you must be a gift from celestial to feel this good.” zhongli moans. he’s holding you in his lap now, moving you up and down his shaft just how he likes.
“have you got one more for me, love?” he pants, “then i’ll take care of you and let you rest.”
you find yourself crying out for morax repeatedly, and it sendings an unknown exhilarating feeling down zhongli’s spine. maybe because it’s the thought that no other god could save you but him.
“m’cumming!” you cry, once again clamping down on the man with a vice like grip.
zhongli shudders, trying to keep his focus on you coming undone, “i don’t think i can hold back much longer myself. where—“
“inside. please cum inside me!” you wail, twisting your legs to lock around him.
“fuck,” he curses, not meaning the slip of his tongue. but that’s just what you do to him. “a-are you certain? do not say things based on what you think i wish—“
zhongli does not expect for you to pout up at him with big, wet eyes and say, “you don’t want to cum in me?”
frozen, he blinks slowly at you. then, there’s the sound of a dark chuckle, almost inhumane. “you don’t know, do you?”
“how i’ll give you anything you want? you can ask for the stars and they’re yours.” he groans, hips erratic again. he’s smothering you with his mouth again, moving everywhere to kiss every inch of you. your legs are folded up and placed over his shoulders, pressed tightly against yourself.
he swears, “i’ll cherish and love you till death. contract or not, i vow to never break that word.” even in the afterlife.”
“that being said, i’ll cum in you as many times as you want.”
you cum at his words, sobbing from the tsunami emotions and feelings that’s hit you.
it isn’t long before zhongli follows, an exceeding large warmth and throbbing as he spills himself into you.
he holds onto you tightly, refusing to move until he’s sure that his cum has settled within you.
slowly pulling out and putting your legs back down, he examines you fully. “are you alright?
the smile you give is hazy. “golden.”
“don’t leave.”
he frowns, tongue clicking, “darling, you must let me clean you up at least. i can’t bear to leave you—“
“just for a moment!” you pout, burying your face into his damp chest. “i promise.”
“a moment.” he repeats, chuckling. soothing your hair.
in all honesty, a part of you liked having him leak down your legs, and maybe he enjoyed it to. for him, in all the years of his life he’s never felt a love like this before. he just did his best to show appreciation.
if this is how he’d sing words into your ears, how his affection would wrap around, you would very well get used to this. to a routine.
but then again, a zhongli without surprises doesn’t seem fitting for you at all.
after all, ‘normal’ isn’t even as common as we think it is.
tagging my beloved @hwaitham. thank you for always supporting me and for being so loving and welcoming. <3

Tighnari's words from the previous night echoed in your mind. The journey to uncover your true identity was just beginning, and with the support of your new friends, they felt ready to face whatever lay ahead. The path forward was uncertain, but it was also filled with hope and the promise of discovery.
You awoke to the delicious aroma of fresh fruit and baked bread wafting through the air. The scent of ripe berries, citrus, and something sweet filled your senses, inviting you to rise from the warmth of your blankets. As you blinked away the remnants of sleep, you noticed the soft morning light streaming through the window, casting gentle shadows on the wooden floor. Slowly, you sat up and stretched, feeling the comforting ache of a good night's sleep. The previous day's journey and the warmth of Tighnari and Collei's hospitality had done wonders for your weary body. You glanced around, taking in the cozy, rustic interior of Tighnari's home, the shelves lined with various plants, books, and trinkets.
As you made your way outside, you found Tighnari and Collei already seated at a small wooden table laden with a simple but inviting breakfast spread. There were freshly baked bread, colorful fruits, and a pot of fragrant tea. The morning sun bathed the village in a golden light, highlighting the intricate architecture and lush greenery.
"Good morning!" Collei greeted with a bright smile as you joined them. "Did you sleep well?"
"Yes, very well, thank you," you replied, taking a seat and feeling the warmth of their kindness envelop you once more.
"Help yourself," Tighnari said, gesturing to the food. "We have a lot to discuss today."
You nodded, grateful for the sustenance and the company. As you ate, Tighnari began to explain their plan. "After discussing things last night, we decided it would be best to take you to the Dendro Archon," Tighnari said between bites. "She possesses great wisdom and knowledge, and if anyone can help you uncover your past and identity, it's her."
"The Dendro Archon?" you echoed, feeling a mixture of awe and anticipation.
"Yes," Collei confirmed. "But we need to gather a few supplies for the journey. It will take some time, so you have a chance to explore the village while we prepare."
You nodded, understanding the importance of the plan. "Thank you, both of you. I really appreciate everything you're doing for me."
"It's our pleasure," Tighnari said with a reassuring smile. "Feel free to look around and get to know the place. Gandharva Village is a special community, and I'm sure you'll find it quite interesting."
After finishing breakfast, you stepped outside into the vibrant village. The morning sun bathed Gandharva Village in a golden light, highlighting the intricate architecture and lush greenery. The village, often referred to as "The City Above the Forest," was a marvel of design, with houses built into the trees and connected by winding bridges and pathways. As you wandered through the village, you noticed that many of the villagers were glancing at you curiously. Their expressions were a mix of friendliness and intrigue, as if they were trying to understand who you were and what had brought you to their home.
After a few minutes of strolling through the village, you came across a group of children playing near a large tree. They were laughing and chasing each other, their joy infectious. When they spotted you, they paused and approached with wide eyes and eager smiles.
"Hi! Are you new here?" one of the children asked, their curiosity shining brightly.
"Yes, I am," you replied with a smile. "What are you all up to?"
"We're just playing," another child said, their eyes sparkling. "Do you want to join us?"
Feeling a surge of warmth and happiness, you nodded. "Sure, I'd love to. How about I teach you something I learned from some very special friends of mine?"
The children gathered around, their excitement palpable. You sat down on the grass and began to show them how to make flower crowns, just as the Aranara had taught you. The children watched with fascination, their small hands eager to mimic your movements.
"First, you need to find some pretty flowers and sturdy stems," you explained, demonstrating as you spoke. The children scattered, collecting flowers and stems from the surrounding area, their laughter filling the air.
Once they returned, you guided them through the process, weaving the flowers together to create beautiful crowns. The children were quick learners, and soon they were proudly wearing their creations, their faces beaming with pride and joy.
"This is so fun!" one of the children exclaimed, adjusting their flower crown.
"Thank you for teaching us," another added, their eyes shining with gratitude.
"You're very welcome," you replied, feeling a deep sense of fulfillment. "It's something my friends taught me, and I'm happy to share it with you."
As the children continued to play and create, you felt a sense of peace and belonging. Despite the uncertainties that still lay ahead, moments like these reminded you of the simple joys and connections that made life meaningful. Soon after, Tighnari and Collei called you back to start the travel. Feeling both excited and a bit scared you start the new chapter
The journey through the vibrant and verdant Sumeru rainforest felt surprisingly effortless with Tighnari and Collei by your side. The forest seemed to welcome your presence, the paths almost guiding your steps as the dense foliage parted to make way. Tighnari, with his vast knowledge of flora and fauna, pointed out various plants and creatures, sharing fascinating tidbits about each one. Collei, though initially quiet, soon opened up, her laughter and stories adding warmth to the journey. The camaraderie between the three of you created a comforting rhythm, each step taken with a shared purpose and growing bond.
Before long, the towering silhouette of the Academia came into view, its majestic spires rising above the treetops. The awe-inspiring structure, built upon a colossal tree, seemed to defy gravity with its intricate architecture and grand design. The sight filled you with a mix of anticipation and wonder. With Tighnari and Collei's support, the path to discovering your past felt clearer and more achievable. The closer you got to the Academia, the stronger the feeling of hope and purpose grew, propelling you forward towards the answers you sought.
Tumblr media
The bustling capital of Sumeru came into view, its port teeming with activity. Ships unloaded their cargo as merchants and travelers from all over Teyvat mingled, creating a lively and colorful scene. Market stalls lined the streets, offering everything from exotic spices to intricate jewelry. The aroma of freshly baked bread and ripe fruits filled the air, mingling with the sounds of lively bargaining and cheerful chatter. The buildings were adorned with intricate carvings and lush greenery, their architecture blending seamlessly with the natural beauty of the rainforest.
As you walked through the city with Tighnari and Collei, you couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and excitement. The sheer vibrancy of the capital was overwhelming. "Can we look around first before meeting the Archon?" you asked, your eyes wide with curiosity. Tighnari nodded, understanding your eagerness to explore. "Of course," he said. "There's much to see here. We'll head towards the Grand Bazaar first. It's a place filled with wonder and culture."
As you made your way through the bustling streets, the crowd seemed to part for Tighnari and Collei, their presence as respected Forest Rangers earning them nods and smiles from the townsfolk. The Grand Bazaar was a vibrant hub of commerce and culture nestled under the giant tree that supported the Academia. Colorful banners fluttered in the breeze, and the sounds of laughter and music filled the air.
Before you could reach the entrance to the tunnel leading to the Grand Bazaar, a captivating sight caught your eye. A red-haired girl in a flowing blue dress adorned with beautiful gold and silver accessories was dancing gracefully. Her movements were fluid and enchanting, as if she was telling a story with every step. Her hair, a cascade of crimson waves, flowed around her as she twirled, and her eyes sparkled with joy and passion. The small group of children watching her were completely captivated, their eyes wide with wonder.
Tighnari and Collei smiled, recognizing her immediately. "That's Nilou," Tighnari explained. "She dances for the Zubayr Theater, located in the Grand Bazaar. Her performances are legendary around here."
Nilou's dance was mesmerizing. She moved with an ethereal grace, each motion perfectly synchronized with the music that played softly in the background. Her dress fluttered like petals in the wind, and her bare feet seemed to barely touch the ground. It was as if she was dancing on air, her every move a testament to her skill and dedication. The children watched in awe, clapping and cheering with delight.
When Nilou noticed you watching, she beckoned you to join her. At first, you hesitated, unsure if you could match her grace. "Me?" you asked, pointing to yourself. Nilou nodded with a warm smile, her eyes inviting and encouraging.
Collei gently nudged you forward. "Go on," she said with a smile. "It's a rare opportunity to dance with someone as talented as Nilou. Besides, it looks like fun!"
Taking a deep breath, you stepped forward. Under Nilou's expert guidance, you found it surprisingly easy to follow her lead. She moved with such fluidity and grace that it felt natural to mimic her movements. Her hands guided yours, her smile reassuring you. The crowd began to grow, more and more people stopping to watch the impromptu performance. Their cheers and applause were a testament to Nilou's captivating presence and your newfound courage.
More and more people stopped to watch, and soon a small crowd had gathered, captivated by the performance. The energy was infectious, and for a moment, you forgot about everything else. You were lost in the dance, the rhythm of the music, and the joy of the moment.
The crowd, however, began to cause a bit of congestion, blocking the merchants from entering and leaving the tunnel to the bazaar. This attracted the attention of the city guards, who moved in to disperse the crowd for safety reasons. One of the guards, carrying a spear like the others, approached you with a stern expression. "Please follow me," he said. "The Lesser Lord Kusanali has requested to meet you."
The sudden request made you nervous, and Nilou's expression turned worried. She stepped closer, placing a reassuring hand on your shoulder. "Don't be afraid," she said softly. "The Lesser Lord is kind and wise. If she wants to meet you, it must be important."
Tighnari and Collei rushed to your side, having heard the guards words as well. "Don't worry," Tighnari reassured you. "It will be okay. We'll be with you every step of the way."
Collei nodded, her expression serious but kind. "We won't leave your side," she said firmly. "You're not alone in this."
With your friends by your side, you followed the guard up towards the Academia. The path spiraled upwards, each step taking you higher and higher. The grandeur of the Academia loomed closer, its magnificent structure both intimidating and awe-inspiring. The buildings were intricately designed, with ornate carvings and lush greenery adorning their surfaces. The closer you got, the more the air seemed to hum with an almost palpable energy.
Finally, you reached the grand doors of the Academia, standing tall and imposing before you. As the doors slowly opened, you couldn't help but feel a mix of anticipation and apprehension. The interior was just as grand as the exterior, with high ceilings, elegant archways, and an atmosphere of quiet reverence. With Tighnari and Collei at your side, you stepped forward, ready to face whatever awaited you inside.
The doors to the Academia swung open, revealing an interior that took your breath away. The first room you entered was vast and round, dominated by a magnificent water fountain in the center. The water cascaded gracefully, its gentle splashing echoing softly throughout the chamber. Around the fountain, potted plants added a touch of verdant beauty, their leaves glistening in the light. Above, a grand chandelier hung from the high ceiling, its crystals catching and reflecting the light, casting shimmering patterns on the polished floor below. Additional stand lanterns lined the room, their soft glow adding to the serene ambiance.
The room buzzed with activity as students moved about, their expressions serious and focused. The atmosphere was markedly different from the bustling port and vibrant bazaar outside; here, the weight of knowledge and scholarship was palpable. Some students paused to stare at your group, their curiosity evident, but their attention didn't deter your determined progress.
You followed the guard through the room, your footsteps echoing on the marble floor. The halls of the Academia were lined with more intricate carvings and adorned with lush greenery, a testament to the harmonious blend of nature and intellect that defined Sumeru. As you walked, you couldn't help but be struck by the sheer scale and beauty of the architecture.
Your journey led you to a grand library, a sanctuary of knowledge and learning. The vast number of books lining the shelves was truly impressive, each tome a repository of wisdom waiting to be explored. The library was illuminated by more of the elegant chandeliers, their light casting a warm, inviting glow over the numerous tables where students sat engrossed in their studies. The air was filled with the quiet rustle of pages turning and the soft murmur of scholarly discussions.
The most impressive feature of the library, however, was the stained glass ceiling. Intricate designs in shades of blue and green formed a breathtaking mosaic above, casting beautiful light patterns on the floor below. The interplay of colors created an ethereal atmosphere, making the library feel like a sacred place of learning and reflection.
In the middle of the library was a smaller, round room that piqued your curiosity. At first, you didn't understand its purpose, but as you stepped closer, a sense of familiarity washed over you. Though you had never been here before, you instinctively recognized it as an elevator. The realization was strange, like remembering something from a past life.
You stepped inside the elevator with the guard, Tighnari, and Collei. The doors closed with a gentle whoosh, and you felt the ground begin to lift beneath you. The ascent was smooth and silent, the library slowly disappearing from view through the elevator's glass walls. The higher you went, the more the grandeur of the Academia unfolded before you, each floor revealing more of its architectural marvels and scholarly treasures.
As the elevator came to a stop and the doors opened, you found yourself on a higher floor, ready to continue your journey towards the answers you sought. The anticipation in your heart was a mix of excitement and apprehension, each step bringing you closer to the enigmatic Lesser Lord Kusanali and the truth about your mysterious past.
You step out of the elevator and into a round room bathed in a soft, ethereal blue light. The centerpiece of the room is a giant floating blue sphere, rotating slowly and surrounded by intricate constructions that defy your understanding. The size of the sphere is imposing, and multiple staircases wind up to a second floor that encircles the room, adding to the grandeur.
As you take in the breathtaking sight, you finally notice two figures standing before you. One is a small girl, exuding a gentle, calming presence. The other is a boy with a more intense demeanor, his expression a mix of surprise and something deeper, like he has seen a ghost. The girl quickly regains her composure and smiles warmly at you.
"Welcome," she says with a voice as soothing as a breeze through the trees. "You can call me Nahida. And this is Wanderer"
She nods to the boy beside her, wearing a navy blue kasa hat, a black turtleneck bodysuit, a white kimono, and other intricate garments, continues to look at you with a mixture of disbelief and wariness. His attire includes fingerless metallic gloves, black hakama shorts, a thick black and indigo obi belt, knee-high white gaiters, black geta sandals, and a patterned blue half-cape adorned with gold ornaments and a gold feather. This is the Wanderer, and his piercing gaze seems to search for something beyond your appearance.
Nahida's expression turns more serious as she continues, "I called you here to discuss an incident that occurred during the dance at the bazaar. A child was hurt and couldn't get out as quickly as they should have. I don't blame you, but this situation has piqued my interest more than I initially thought."
Before you can respond, Tighnari steps forward, his demeanor respectful yet firm. "Lesser Lord Kusanali, this person has lost their memory and does not even recall their own name. They were found in the forest, and their presence seems to have a profound effect on the environment. Flowers bloom, and they even met and stayed with the Aranara for a while."
Nahida listens intently, her eyes widening slightly as she processes Tighnari's words. "Is that so?" she murmurs, more to herself than anyone else.
The Wanderer finally speaks, his voice tinged with curiosity and skepticism. "The Aranara? Are you telling me they were living with those mythical creatures?"
You nod, feeling the weight of their combined scrutiny. "Yes, I lived with the Aranara for months. They took care of me when I had nowhere else to go."
Nahida's eyes soften with understanding. "It seems there's much more to you than meets the eye. The Aranara are known to be elusive and magical beings. For them to accept you so readily is extraordinary."
The Wanderer crosses his arms, his gaze still sharp but now more thoughtful. "So, what are you, exactly?"
Tighnari interjects again, his voice calm and measured. "We believe they may be something more than human. The forest's reaction, the absence of any scent, and the unusual events surrounding them all point to a deeper mystery. We hoped you might be able to help us uncover the truth, Lesser Lord Kusanali."
Your eyes widen. You had no idea they thought you were something more then a human. However you said nothing, you didn't want to be rude to someone like Nahida and wanted to know more about their theories.
Nahida nods slowly, her mind clearly racing through possibilities. "I see. This is indeed a complex situation. There is a presence about you that is different. We must tread carefully to understand it fully."
The Wanderer, though still skeptical, seems to accept the gravity of the situation. "If anyone can uncover the truth, it's Nahida. She has the wisdom and the connection to this land that we need."
Nahida smiles again, this time with a hint of determination. "We will get to the bottom of this. But first, let's address the immediate concerns and ensure everyone is safe."
The atmosphere in the room shifts from tension to a shared sense of purpose. You feel a mixture of apprehension and hope, knowing that these knowledgeable and powerful individuals are now invested in uncovering your true identity. With their guidance, the path ahead, though uncertain, seems a little less daunting.
After a lengthy discussion, a conclusion is reached: you will remain in Sumeru, living within the bounds of the capital until more is known about your true nature. During this time, you will have unrestricted access to the grand library, a treasure trove of knowledge that will aid in uncovering your past. You will also meet with Nahida once a week. Through various tests and exposures to different environments and stimuli, they will try to learn as much as possible about you.
However, this arrangement means that you won’t be seeing your friends as often. Collei and Tighnari must return to Gandharva Ville to fulfill their duties as forest rangers and caretakers of the rainforest. They promise to visit the capital when they can, but their presence will be sporadic. The Wanderer continues to watch you with suspicion, his eyes never leaving you, as if expecting something to reveal itself at any moment. Nahida, on the other hand, seems to already be forming theories, her mind working quickly behind her gentle eyes.
As you stand there, surrounded by these remarkable individuals, you feel a mixture of hope and sadness. The path to discovering your identity may be long and challenging, but you are not alone. With the support of Nahida and the resources of the Akademiya, you take your first steps toward uncovering the mystery of who you truly are.

COURT GOSSIP — Furina x reader.
i. SUMMARY: Fontaine has a lot to say about Furina's lover. (Now with a part two!) ii. CONTENT WARNINGS: Very very slight spoilers for the 4.2 archon quest, brief use of pet names (darling). iii. NOTES: Angst, reader doesn't actually make an appearance but they are talked about throughout, gn!reader, they/them pronouns used, 2.1k words. iv. A/N: Angst bc i lost the 50/50. This probably isn't as good as I wanted it to be, but I'm tired and I was sick of rewriting things.
Tumblr media
They called the relationship a lot of things. Scandalous, shocking, shameless. Shameless wasn’t the right word. Furina had plenty shame, but the taste of love had left her too excited to worry about repercussions. Careless, was more accurate.
If she had more care, she would be home by then, curled around her lover, laying with her ear pressed to their chest so she could hear their heartbeat. She wouldn’t be pacing back and forth and wearing grooves into Neuvillette’s office’s carpet.
“It is going to be alright, Lady Furina. Sit down.” Neuvillette said calmly. He was sitting still, hands folded in his lap, and to the ordinary eye he looked perfectly at ease. But Furina hadn’t spent five centuries with him without learning his mannerisms. The stiffness in his shoulders, the twitch of his eyebrow, the way his words sounded a touch too sharp; it was obvious he was just as concerned as she was.
“It’s not! Do you know what they’re saying?” Furina hissed. She threw the newspaper across his desk, letting it land in front of him with a smack. The photo of the two of them—her arms wrapped around their neck, while they kissed her cheek—took up almost the entire page, only broken up by the title.
Exclusive: Who is Lady Furina’s secret paramour?
“I must say, this is quite a poorly titled article.” Neuvillette frowned, looking closer. “The word ‘paramour’ is archaic by itself, but more than that it already implies a scandalous relationship. The word ‘secret’ is superfluous.”
“That’s not the point!” Furina practically wailed. “Look at what they’re saying!”
“Hmm… ‘Who is this mystery partner, and how did they catch the attention of the Archon herself? Is this unknown lover strategically targeting Lady Furina to attempt to obscure the justice of Fontaine?’ Ah, I see. They believe your partner to be seeking you out to gain influence of the court system.”
“How dare they! To think they would stoop to such a level to accuse my—”
“It is alright. I have already scheduled an official announcement to acknowledge the concerns and quell the rumours.”
“It’s not only that! The people are losing their respect.”
“…I am afraid I do not understand.”
“For me! They—” Furina halted. “I—I heard them today. They think of me as just some love-stricken girl. Archons above—” Neuvillette chose not to point out that she herself was an archon. “I couldn’t stand it...”
⋆ ✩ 。 ° ✩ ° 。 ✩ ⋆
It had been a pleasant morning; so pleasant that once Furina had detangled herself from her partner’s arms, she decided to take a walk.
As she strolled through the streets, the sounds of the city beginning its day and the singing of birds mingled together in a strangely beautiful symphony. They competed for the attention of whoever happened to be listening, with songbirds chirping and crooning from the tops of buildings, directly above the sounds of vendors and other salespersons trying to sell their products.
“Fresh lavender melons, straight from Inazuma!” A fruit-seller called, holding a basket filled with bright purple fruits.
Ah, Lavender Melons. They were a fairly new sight in Fontaine, only appearing after trade with Inazuma was reestablished. Perhaps she should purchase a bunch.
“Extra, extra!” a young newsboy yelled out, waving a newspaper above his head. “Read all about the latest Fontaine news, from the Fontaine Gazette! Hear about the case that divided the Chief Justice and Lady Furina!”
The newspapers were always embellished, but the Fontaine Gazette was a particularly egregious example. Not a single word in that paper was without exaggeration. Though, it was entertaining at times to look over the stories and laugh about the incredulity of it all.
She strolled over to listen to the boy’s calls, idly looking past the rows of newspapers and magazines. She withdrew one from the stand, a gaudy looking magazine with bright red headlines screaming in her face.
The Spina di Rosula in shambles! it shrieked. Such a crude form of entertainment, the misery of others. It was good Fontaine had enough reputable newspapers to drown out the crows and calls of garbage like that.
“Extra, extra! Lady Furina has a secret lover? Read all about it here!”
In a second, the magazine in Furina’s hands slipped onto the ground, and she felt her breath catch in her chest.
She had to have misheard him; it must be a terrible mistake. She’d been too careful to hide them from the spotlight, keeping them away from the public’s claws. If they’d been discovered, the media would stop at nothing to tear them to shreds. Not to mention how she’d look if their relationship was found out—the Archon of Fontaine, falling head over heels for a mere mortal.
Furina had snatched the paper right out of the young boy’s hand. As he started protesting, she quickly threw a handful of Mora at him and bustled away to read the paper. Behind her, two ladies gasped and leaned over to whisper to each other.
“Is that Lady Furina?”
“I’m surprised she can show her face… I wouldn’t have the courage.”
Vultures, the lot of them! Had they no shame, gossiping about her from six feet away, like she couldn’t damn well hear them?
Their chatter faded to static and white noise in her ears, as the newspaper unfolded to reveal the story she’d been fearing. In it, the photo showed two lovers were caught in an embrace, one hidden in the other’s shoulder. The other was turned at just the right angle to show herself to the camera, grinning down at her partner with love in her eyes.
Furina stared in horror as her own face stared back at her.
⋆ ✩ 。 ° ✩ ° 。 ✩ ⋆
“Furina—Ahem, Lady Furina,” Neuvillette paused, blinking at his mistake. Oh dear. He must be on the verge of a breakdown, if he was already messing up her name. “We must begin the conference soon. Shall we leave?”
“I—I suppose that would be prudent,” Furina said shakily, straightening her back.
The trip to the Opera Epiclese was filled with silence. Furina stared at her hands in her lap, picking at the edges of her gloves, while Neuvillette gripped his cane tightly and periodically shot her concerned looks. The only words that were spoken were after they had arrived.
“Are you ready?” Neuvillette asked, hand curled around the curtain separating their backstage room to the front balcony.
“No,” Furina whispered hollowly, before smoothing her features into neutrality and stepping onto the stage.
“Hello, my dears.” Her lips moved of their own accord; voice disconnected from her mind. “I am here to address some rumours you may have heard. If you have been following the news, you would know that some pictures have been spreading of me and another individual. Since then, there has been a number of gossip floating around the court, very little of which is based on fact.”
“Tch, she’s already trying to avoid the blame.” A particularly loud audience member commented, loud enough for Furina to hear. She hesitated for a moment, before continuing.
“This person is as many have suspected,” Furina breathed out. “A romantic partner.”
“Ms Furina!” A young man—notebook and pen in hand; a reporter, likely—yelled out. Furina bit back the haughty That is Lady Furina to you on her tongue. Arrogance wouldn’t serve her well in this performance. “People have been saying that this ‘lover’ of yours is a threat to the integrity of the justice system. How do you respond to the allegations that they are using you to sway the court?”
“T-That isn’t true! They—”
“How can we trust the Palais Mermonia if the Archon is being influenced?” A voice in the front row whispered loudly to her friend.
“If she’s that weak to the charm of a random person, then what does that say about her judgement?” Another responded.
“I—” Furina stuttered out. “P-Please, calm yourselves! I can explain myself if you just wait—”
“Is this really what Fontaine is coming to?” That pesky reporter yelled out, only stirring the chaos further. The courtroom erupted into noise, all overlapping opinions drowning out any conscious thought of hers.
“Childish—”
“Unprofessional—”
“Not fit to lead—”
“—If she’s so distracted by love.”
If the first words were a punch in the gut, the last were certainly a strike straight to her skull. She flinched, her resolve cracking enough to let the throes of panic wash over her face. It was all too much: the lights, the noise, the audience.
But she was used to commotion. She had been acting for centuries.
In the drama, she had almost forgotten her place; the Court of Fontaine was her stage, and she was the leading actress. The citizens before her were the audience to her performance, and she was damned if she wasn’t to put on a show for them.
With a deep breath, she slipped right back into the façade, smoothing over the cracks in her mask with inhuman poise.
“They say the true tragedy of godhood, is one never gets the chance to live like a human.” Furina smiled coyly, playing up the eccentric goddess act that she had been cultivating for centuries. “So many experiences we are robbed of; growing up, falling in love.”
“You wanted to be human?” An audience member called out. Young woman, nervous expression. Perfect extra for Furina’s show.
She turned to stare her in the eyes, coy grin lighting up her features. “Tell me, dear. Have you ever had a lover of your own?”
“M-me?!” She squeaked. “Oh… I-I haven’t really had a girlfriend. B-But I have been in a… relationship of sorts.” The audience member spluttered and blushed. “A… summer fling, I suppose.”
“Well, wouldn’t I be a fool not to chase a summer fling of my own?” Furina tilted back her head with a laugh, letting her voice boom across the Opera with the confidence that left the audience hanging on her every word. “Oh, my dearest citizens. Do you think so lowly of me to think I’d let a brief bit of romance keep me from my duties? That I would be blinded by something so silly as love?”
“You don’t love them?” Another nervous audience member asked.
Yes, Furina wanted to scream. I love them more than I have ever loved anything in this world.
“Ah, love. Such a novel concept.” She loved them, she did. Oh, how she hoped they would forgive them for this. “The only love I hold is for my people and my nation! I need no lover, when I already have the love of my beautiful Fontaine.”
“I believe we have strayed off-topic,” Neuvillette said, smoothly shifting their attention to him. “The Court of Fontaine retains that this individual carries no influence over Lady Furina, the Palais Mermonia or the Fontainian justice system. This… relationship is something inconsequential that has no effect over Lady Furina’s work, and is not of a concern to Fontaine’s citizens.” Damn right it wasn’t their concern. “To put it frankly, this person is of no significance at all.”
Only Neuvillette was close enough to hear the sharp gasp that escaped her.
“This conference is hereby adjourned.”
They were going to hate her.
How was she supposed to look them in the eyes, after telling an entire courtroom that they were of no importance to her? The love of her life, the one who brought light into the world and a smile of genuine joy upon her face with just their presence. She imagined them watching the court; hearing her words, feeling them strike against their skin like blades.
They were going to hate her, and she would let them.
She would let them hate her, if it meant the public would forget their name. The moment they disappeared from the light, then the rumours would disappear just the same.
And a part of her—a small, barely noticeable, inconsequential part of her, but a part of her nonetheless—breathed a sigh of relief at the knowledge that her balance hadn’t been overturned. It was selfish, she knew that, and the thought disgusted her as much as it brought her comfort. That part whispered that it was for the best, not just for them but for her as well. Her reputation was secure, they were quietly pushed away from the light, and the scandal would die down quickly.
Furina stumbled backstage, stomach spinning. She leaned heavily against the wall, eyes squeezed shut, dreading the moment she would have to go home and face her lover after what she had done.
“Oh, darling.” She murmured. “Please forgive me.”

⇢ ˗ˏˋ Anemo as the 5 Love Languages ゚☾. ࿐
Tumblr media
summary: everyone gives affection a different way, so how about our favourite anemo users?
pairings: xiao : venti : scara : heizou : kazuha x gn!reader
warnings: minor spoiler for 3.3 archon quest [scara]
a/n: wow this really sat in my drafts since august, so much so that i still had aether in instead scara (so sorry, love)
Tumblr media
XIAO
⇢ ˗ˏˋ Gift Giving ࿐ྂ
Xiao is still very new to relationships in general, romantic ones even more so, seeing as he kept others at least an arm length away at all times, so the prospect of openly showing his affection is daunting to him
He knows he’s not the best with words, thinks his statements are too blunt and sharp to deliver these confusing feelings in his chest, and he’s wary of his karmic debt tainting you if he reaches for you
So he settled for something familiar to him; by giving you adeptus charms, not only is he warding off evil spirits, he’s also bestowing a handmade gift upon you, something he’s observed mortals doing throughout the millennia, no matter the era
Before, he merely thought they were doing it to appease their partners, but after the first time he gave you a protective charm, he felt his heart flutter at your genuine gratitude and a warm sensation flooding his chest at the heartfelt smile you gave him
He was absolutely hooked
From then on out, he not only made you little talismans but also beaded accessories and decorative trinkets or brought back things he saw while doing his duty and thought you might like
And do not get him started on the rush of excitement he feels when he sees you tying them to your clothes or bag, proudly showing off his gifts or diligently caring for the flowers sitting pretty in a vase
When he asked you about it and you merely replied “It’s like you’re always with me” as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, Xiao needed some time to get his thoughts and emotions back in order
Maybe showing affection wasn’t so bad after all…
VENTI
⇢ ˗ˏˋ Physical Touch ࿐ྂ
Of course it takes two for this love language to be established but Venti is the one initiating physical contact most of the time
It’s mostly small touches throughout the day, like pushing a strand of hair out of your face or straightening out your clothes when he notices some creases; it’s also very adorable when he latches onto your arm to show you something or swings your intertwined hands around when walking together
Despite being in a relationship already, Venti has made up his mind to try and woo you all over again in your day to day life, so expect the brush of his knuckles on your cheek or a cheeky kiss to the back of your hand
He also loves it when you sit next to him or in his lap (or he in yours) while he sings and plays the lyre; if someone makes the trip out to Windrise on a sunny day, there’s a high likelihood they’ll hear a soft melody accompanied by joyous giggles
All that being sad, Venti also uses physical affection to be a brat (<3)
From clinging to you, so you wouldn’t be able to get up to draping himself over you from behind while you’re working, it’s all a ploy to monopolise your attention but he’ll stop if it’s genuinely bothering you
Playfulness aside, there’s one element of physical touch that only comes to show when it’s solely the two of you, often late at night when the world has gone quiet and ugly memories are rearing their head
Whether it’s him holding you or you holding him, the weight of your body against his, hands trailing each others’ skin and warmth being shared, it helps ground him in the present and serves as a welcome reminder that you’re still here next to him, safe and sound
SCARAMOUCHE
⇢ ˗ˏˋ Acts of Service ࿐ྂ
If directly confronted with the topic, Scara would merely scoff at the notion of being in love or being „soft“ for you but as always, his actions speak louder than words
He subconsciously looks out for you without giving the matter too much thought, making sure you’re okay and taken care of almost like it’s second nature to him
Ever since the Irminsul incident, he’s become more aware of his relationships and his treatment of the people around him and while he’s still far from being soft-spoken and lovey-dovey, he’s trying to come to terms with his feelings for you and also acting on them
Scara wouldn’t ever tell you but he’s truly scared his words would come out wrong if he tried to tell you verbally or he‘d somehow hurt you when initiating physical contact (although he’s so careful with you ), so he finds it safer to do small tasks for you, trying to make your life a little more comfortable
It started out as him just wanting to make sure you‘d consider him useful to you, so you wouldn’t abandon him, but with a lot of reassurance from your side he grew more secure in your relationship and found genuine joy in doing little things for you and gladly baskes in your gratefulness (even if he gets a little too smug about it, just bear with it)
HEIZOU
⇢ ˗ˏˋ Quality Time ࿐ྂ
Lives can be stressful and hectic, keeping two people from seeing each other as often as they’d like; that’s why for Heizou every second he can spend with you is to be cherished
More often than he’d like, his job has him investigating far away from home for an indefinite amount of time and all he wants to do when he comes back is indulge in your presence until he’s satisfied
One of his favourite activities has to be solving puzzles with you; whether it’s jigsaw or some kind of logic puzzle, he’s genuinely enjoying seeing your thought process just as much as having you next to him
Likewise, just doing your own respective thing while existing in the same space is a very welcome form of calming down and unwinding; there’s something rather domestic about it and it’s making him all giddy (he is a romantic at heart)
He’s also found that whenever he's stuck on a case, talking things through with you helps tremendously; you don’t necessarily need to provide any professional input or expertise but just listening to him while he goes through all the available clues out loud provides him with a new angle on the situation; obviously, he will patiently sit and listen whenever you need to vent or clear your head as well
KAZUHA
⇢ ˗ˏˋ Words of Affirmation ࿐ྂ
Is it a surprise that Kazuha’s giving love language is words of affirmation?
With his natural aptitude and interest in poetry of all sorts, he supposes it only makes sense he would love to show his affection for you in the most expressive way he can
One thing about Kazuha, every word he speaks, he also means; so while he showers you in praise and reassurance, it’s always genuine and you can hear it in the sincerity of his voice and see it in the certainness of his pen strokes
Subconsciously or not, even when he’s not trying to write about you, he’ll often find a familiarity in his works as he examines them afterwards, smiling fondly at the notion of you inspiring him without even trying; a muse he couldn’t forget even if he wanted to
So while you’ve come to expect his smooth compliments, you never know what form they might take; one day he is reciting his newest haiku to you, the next you find a half finished sonnet on the margin of a random piece of paper or you wake up to a carefully worded letter on your bedside table
Although, one thing that never changes, is the way he whispers sleepy confessions and sweet nothings into your ear while you’re both snuggled up in bed at night, the sound of his calm voice lulling you into a peaceful slumber (and don’t think you’re leaving his side without equally affectionate words in the morning)

going to talk about how much i love wanderer. hi.
With the 4.8 summer event, I and many others can say that we are absolutely thrilled to see that scaras story isn’t over yet.
His relationship with Mini Durin?!?! Literally the cutest thing ever.
My favorite thing about Genshin will always be the lore. I don’t think i would be playing as long as i have if its story didn’t hook me. The fact they’re bringing back Durin and foreshadowing whatever the “worst possible scenario” for dragon spine has me on the edge of my seat. I really hope we make a visit back to Mondstat soon. Scara’s role in all of this only makes me even more excited!
My favorite characters in Genshin tend to be the ones with the most mystery or lore behind them. Scaramouche has one of the coolest backstory’s in the whole game.
A puppet who desperately wants to be human, who wants to have a real heart.
Only for him to realize that humanity was inside of him all long, artificial being or not.
His relationship with Ei is one that is so interesting to me. She left him in an empty pavilion, not wanting to discard him and intervene with his fate. Scara seeing this as him being abandoned by his own creator, his own mother. The only thing showing his relation to her is a golden feather and the electro symbol on his neck.
Scara viewing Ei as his mother is a whole other thing I could talk about. The fact that we’ll never learn what Ei thinks of their relationship is so unbelievably heartbreaking to me. I also find it sad that Scara still refers to Ei as his mother after she abandoned him.
I don’t quite remember which character story it’s in, but when I first read that scara ended going to Yae Miko for help it really put into perspective how different things could’ve been. Had Ei choose to keep Scara around and not put him in his slumber, who knows what relationship they could’ve formed. Miko having to help scara with tatarasuna incident instead of Ei because she was in her Plane of Euthamiya really shows the turnmoil Inazuma went through while their archon was semi-absent(?) Miko returning the feather back to scara is also a nice little detail i saw. I really wished they had shown more interaction between Miko and scara during the Inazuma archon quest.
Scara learning how to be human with his old friends from tatarasuna?!? Him still remembering what they taught him in present day?!? My Heart.
The reveal that Escher was really Dottore all along was heartbreaking. Scara realizing he basically almost killed off a whole clan for nothing?? Good Lord. He spent centuries thinking that Niwa betrayed him, only for it to all The Doctors fault.
Scaramouche and Dottore relationship is very interesting to look at.
Dottore basically planning to earn scaramouches trust from the start with lying to scara about niwa is so so so evil. dude. Dottore using him for centuries to help with the blueprints for his segments. Oh i know scaras pissed.
Dottore modifying his body and putting him through countless experiments (which, we don’t even KNOW how bad they really were. thank god scara doesn’t have a human body) One thing that really solidified that Dottore never really cared for Scaramouche is the fact scara was most likely never meant to leave the Shouki no Kami.
Scara being attached to tubes that when cut leave him basically paralyzed. I don’t exactly remeber which item had this description but supposedly was made to make him only feel anger and other negative emotions. Dottore never saw him as anything other than an experiment.
anyway. i needed to yap about one of my favs. i’m writing this at 3 am so i probably made a much of grammar and lore mistakes forgive me 🙏 i wrote all of this without using any references and only used my memory 😭😭

Il Capitano being a single father for his little daughter
Tumblr media
A/N: I am writing this right after finishing 5.0 archon quest, so these are based on the little information I have on the character right now. However, if any major changes for his character will occur in the future, I might make an updated version for this. Also, this is my very first work and English is not my first language, so I already want apologise in advance if the quality of this post will not satisfy the readers.
Warnings: A somewhat absent father lol

When it comes to work, Capitano likes to keep it professional. Long distance trips to Mondstad or Natlan or any other region can be very tiring for a grown adult, let alone for a small child who can get easily bored by sitting in one place for long periods of time. His Harbinger duties not only include diplomatic meetings, but can also be related to something way more dangerous that can turn a quick simple meeting into a deadly battle zone. So do not expect him to bring his kid to missions, that is off the limits.
At first Capitano would leave his daughter at his Snezhnaya residence, where he would entrust experienced midwives to take care of her while he would be gone. However, as time goes on, his daughter eventually would grow into her toddler phase, which meant that now she wanted to explore the world around her and has become way more interested in her father, who frequently would leave for days or, at certain times, even weeks.
Capitano would keep his dedication and loyalty to the Tsaritsa the same level as it was before his daughters birth, even if it meant that he had to make his work a priority during the crucial early stages of his daughters life. However it does not mean that he never intended to fulfil his parental duties. Even when Capitano's workload increased, he tried his best to finish everything quickly and when he finally had the free time to spend it at home, he focused on giving all the attention to his little girl as much as he could.
Actually, Capitano would end up putting in lots of work to learn how to change her diapers, pick the right clothes, put her down for naps and even help her out when it came to exploring the outside area of their home. He completely understood the fact that his daughter would never be able to grow up with a mother, so he tried his best to focus on becoming a good father.
Eventually, his daughter would reach the age, where she refused to just stay curious about the work trips her father had, but she wanted to join them too. Although, all of her requests were quick to be denied, she never intended to give up on joining at least one of the missions Capitano had. That is when she started to try sneaking out the house to follow him to work. Of course, Capitano would immediately notice her and send her back home before she could manage to get herself in some type of danger.
As his daughters sneaky behavior continued, Capitano came to an understanding that the best way to keep her out of his work, would be to show her how dangerous it could get. To scare her. To make her not want to involve herself with this sort of danger again. Of course, he knew that with his strength alone he would be able to protect her with ease, yet it was his daughters excitement to join his missions and be able to fight together with him that he wished to be gone. He knew it was selfish, but he already had lost the person he loved the most before, he did not want to lose her in the future too.
Finally, the day he was waiting for had come. Capitano quickly noticed his daughter trailing behind his group of Fatui soldiers that were following him to a small patrol mission outside the city. Everyone, except her, were aware of that days mission, so as they reached the treasure hunter base and a heated discussion had begun, it was only a surprise for her when everything quickly escalated into a fight.
To Capitano the result of this battle was obvious, The Fatui would win, yet he extended the fight for a bit longer than usual so the event he was waiting for would certainly go in motion. After a mere minute a small scream came from behind him, it was his daughters. Only five seconds had passed before the treasure hunter, that managed to get a hold of his little girl, was laying on the ground, completely unconscious. He smiled to himself, however since he was wearing his mask she was not able to see it. But the reason why he was smiling was because he already had practiced the lecture he was ready to give her any second now, Capitano finally picked her up and came to face her and only to realise that....
His plan had failed. The result Capitano hoped for quickly turned into a complete opposite of what he had expected, as his daughter stared back at him with the most happiest face he had ever seen her have. Her eyes sparkled brighter than the goddamn Tevyat sky and her smile was wider than the Tartaglia's who usually got very excited when he got to walk next to him. It was now all clear to him. She would definitely not let him leave her alone anymore.
After that day she started to follow her father everywhere around the house. It took a while of her pleading to finally get her a wooden sword and start teaching her the beginning stages of swordsmanship. Although, he knew that she was his real daughter, Capitano was somewhat surprised when she would be able to learn everything so quickly. Additionally her strength surpassed the boys who were two or three years older than her. Finally, it was the moment when he realised that she had inherited his talent and the crazy passion for swordsmanship he had within him too.
When his daughter finally reached the age where he felt confident in her progress, Capitano introduced her to the Knave. He knew that, by leaving his daughter in Fontaine, she would be able to slowly get introduced to the Fatui and improve her fighting abilities by gaining her own experience in less dangerous environment than his missions were.
Of course his daughter was still a child and did not have the happiest reaction when she realised he would just start leaving her in a different nation and continue on with his own work without her, but with a simple explanation and some time, she held no resentment against her father. She knew that he would still keep on visiting her and check on her progress and maybe, just maybe, one day, he would finally see her reach the point from which she would finally be able to join him on his missions.
However Capitano knew that, as the first Fatui Harbinger, his missions were often the most difficult ones, so if his daughter wished to join him one day, she would have to keep working hard for many years. But as her father, he was ready to keep on supporting her, all the way throughout the path his daughter decided to follow, even if it meant that he would have to be absent for certain moments of it.

Morning Dew
| warnings: fontaine spoilers
| genre: i dont flippin know
| summary: fontaine archon quest
| part: 2
Tumblr media
One night, as you lay awake, unable to sleep, you hear a soft knock at your door.
You get up and answer it, and are surprised to find two strangers standing (and one floating) before you.
“Hey, you’re Y/N, right?” the fairy-looking one asks.
“Ah, you must be the Traveler and Paimon. I heard of your arrival in Fontaine today. I must say, you have to be looking for trouble if you’re standing against Lady Furina herself.”
The fairy-looking one crosses her arms and puffs her cheeks.
"Excuse you! We're not looking for trouble!"
The other stranger puts her hand on her shoulder.
"Paimon," she starts, “please calm down."
"I'm sorry, Lumine, but that's a big assumption!"
"It's alright," the blonde says, smiling.
She turns to you.
"I apologize for my friend," she says, "she can be a little... over-excited at times."
"No problem," you say.
You extend your hand.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Y/N, the second Champion Duelist.”
Lumine shakes your hand.
"Likewise. My name is Lumine."
She gestures to her floating companion.
"This is my friend, Paimon."
Paimon sticks her tongue out at you.
"Yeah, yeah. Nice to meet ya."
Lumine chuckles.
"Anyway, we were wondering if you knew where we could find Lady Furina," she says.
“At this time of night, she would be in bed. But, tomorrow, I can accompany you to the Opera Epiclese? That’s where she usually resides throughout the day. That is, if she’s not out eating sweets at Hotel Debord.”
"Perfect," she replies.
She turns to her friend.
"Let's go find a place to stay."
"Yeah, Paimon’s beat," Paimon says, yawning.
"Alright," you reply, “take care."
"Thanks for the help," Lumine says.
She and her friend turn and walk down the street.
You close the door and sigh.
That was not a pleasant introduction.
You get back into bed, and try to get some sleep.
Tomorrow is another day.
————————————————————
Morning comes, and you awaken to a bright, sunny day.
As you’re walking to the Opera House with Lumine and Paimon, you see two familiar faces.
“Ah! Lumine and Paimon! And…er? Y/N?”
“I can sense your enthusiasm upon seeing me, Lyney,” you start, “I am solely just assisting Lumine and Paimon, I won’t be staying long.”
“No, no, no! That’s not what I meant at all, Y/N! I just meant it’s weird to see your face in the Opera House if it’s not being used for trials,” says Lyney.
"I have some business to take care of," you say, evasively.
Lynnette raises an eyebrow, but stays quiet.
"You’re not going to stay to watch the magic show?” Lyney asks.
You shrug.
“I don’t have tickets.”
“Nonsense! Me and Lynnette are hosting, there’s no need for that. I’ll get you three the best seats in the house!”
You frown.
"I can't ask you to do that," you say.
"You didn't," Lynnette replies.
She holds out her hand.
"Come on. It will be fun."
You take her hand, and she leads you inside the Opera House.
Lyney leads you and the duo towards the very front seats.
"We will be starting shortly," he says.
"Thank you," Lumine replies.
"Yes, thank you, Lyney and Lynnette!" Paimon adds.
Lyney smiles.
"My pleasure."
He turns and walks towards the stage.
As the trio sit down in their respective seats, Paimon speaks up.
“Uhh,” she starts, looking to her right at the man sitting in silence beside you.
“Hey, Lumine, Y/N, maybe we should strike up a conversation with the person next to us? Since we're sitting together and the rest of the place is practically empty still, it's kinda awkward if we don’t say anything.”
The man, who was previously staring blankly forward, suddenly turns his head to look at the three of you.
You, Lumine and Paimon look back.
“Excuse me, I did not realize you felt awkward. I am terribly sorry,” the man starts with his deep voice.
“I would be perfectly happy to chat with you, if that is what you would like.”
“Oh... uh... So you heard all of that, did ya? Boy, you sure have good ears, Paimon thought she was keeping her voice down,” Paimon says, once again referring to herself in the third person.
Paimon floats towards the man.
“Ah! Wait, that's not it, Paimon's sorry! Um, Paimon's the one who was being rude talking under her breath like that. Uh, so let's talk, but... uh... what should we talk about?”
You look at Paimon.
“Beat it, Paimon. This is Monsieur Neuvillette, head of Chief Justice in Fontaine.”
Lumine looks over at Paimon and shrugs.
The man looks at Paimon.
"Don't worry, I was not offended," he says.
"If anything, it is I who should apologize. I didn't realize I was sitting so close to you. My apologies."
Paimon looks a bit embarrassed.
"No, no, it's fine! Don't worry about it. You didn't do anything wrong."
“I am quite surprised to see you around here, Y/N. You are aware that this is Lyney’s magic show and not a trial, correct?”
Neuvillette turns his head and looks at you, his purplish pink eyes piercing into your own.
Paimon and Lumine look between the two of you.
Paimon leans towards Lumine.
"Do you think Y/N's in trouble or something...?"
Lumine shakes her head.
"No, I don't think so. Remember that Y/N is a champion duelist. They work with the law.”
Paimon nods.
"Yeah, yeah. Good point."
You cross your arms.
"I'm not in trouble, and I am aware this isn't a trial, I'm here accompanying the duo," you state, gesturing to Lumine and Paimon.
“Plus, Lyney and Lynnette offered free tickets. Who am I to refuse?”
Neuvillette chuckles.
"A good point," he says.
"It is nice to see a familiar face," he continues.
"Especially a friendly one."
"I would hardly call our faces 'friendly,'" you reply.
He shrugs.
"Perhaps not, but a welcome face is always a welcome face."
"Well, thanks, I guess."
He dryly chuckles.
"You are most welcome."
“And by the way, I should let you know, even though I would prefer not to,” Neuvillette starts, “there's someone sitting up there in the VIP seats that has been striking a pose for quite a while now…”
Furina giggles from up high, sitting elegantly on her throne.
“Huh? Oh, it's Furina, the Hydro Archon. She sure has a smug and satisfied look on her face. Guess she has no idea that you saw right through her act,” Paimon states.
“Ooo, ooo, look, it’s about to start! Paimon can hardly wait!”
The crowds enter the venue, and the curtains open for the show to begin.
“Oh, they’re dimming the lights! The show must be starting!”
Paimon floats around in excitement.
“Ah… Sorry. Paimon will try to stay quiet, hehe..”

Brothers react to Raiden Ei!MC leaving them a note explaining that their puppet body is rebelling against her so she’s going to fight her in a pocket dimension for their safety, and the brothers break in to pocket dimension anyways just in time to witness her go against her puppet counterpart like in Ei’s story quest
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hello! Gender-neutral reader. Also, I based it off of Ei rather than the Shogun, and I used the Wiki.
Tumblr media
Lucifer
It was through his first interaction with you where he learned that you were not quite excited about the changes you were going to have to adapt to as you lived in the Devildom. To be fair, he didn’t like a lot of changes to his schedule either, but he was prepared to receive an exchange student.
The two of you actually got along very well. You were stern, but you were also fairly social. There have been many a night where the two of you would sit and talk in his office. He learned that you were an archon and that you were dedicated to the people you ruled over. Aside from being more responsible, you reminded him of Lord Diavolo.
When you two get more romantically involved, he loves spoiling you. He knows that you love sweets, and thus gets them for you whenever he goes to the store. You both make a very graceful and elegant couple, and the rest of the brothers agree. You had to admit that you loved Lucifer with all of your heart, as someone was finally looking out for you rather than you being on your own.
One day, the Avatar of Pride woke up to his bed empty aside from himself. He looked and saw a note replacing you, and he read it to see that you were fighting the Shogun in a dimension… to protect him? Didn’t you know he was one of the most powerful demons within the Devildom? He finally made it to the pocket dimension you had created for the battle, and he helped you through it.
Tumblr media
Mammon
He originally thought that you had a stick up your ass for how strict you were. You were like an archon version of Lucifer, and it pissed him off. What was worse was that you retained all of your electric abilities and you would constantly shock him when he was doing something that could get him in trouble.
But, for some reason, he still did catch feelings, and even though he tried to hide them, he was too obvious. He liked to take you on long drives in his car just so that the two of you wouldn’t be interrupted when spending time together. It was also the only time where you got to see the true him where he wasn’t trying to hide his vulnerability. You would tell him about how you were an archon and a ruler back in your world, and it called you to have a ‘stick up your ass’, you used his quote that he cringed at.
Eventually, he does actually ask if you would be his first just like he was yours, and you said yes. You will never know how happy he is just to be able to call you his, as it feeds into his sin but in the best way possible. He liked to follow you around like a lost puppy, and while it is suffocating sometimes, you do love him as much as he loves you.
However, one day, he went into your room and you were gone. There was a piece of paper, stating that you were fighting the Shogun and that you would be back when you can. So, instead of just waiting to see if you would be alright, Mammon jumped into the pocket dimension and joined you in the battle.
Tumblr media
Leviathan
He is a total fanboy because you are just like that character from that one game he has played before: A God Took Away My Sibling And Now I Have To Traverse This Realm To Try And Get Stronger And Find Them. For the first few weeks, he is shut in his room because there is no way he could even attempt to talk to you without passing out.
But, you went inside instead and he was just frozen in place. You had greeted him in a very proper and formal manner, and his face just went red. From that point on, you would choose to hang out with him whenever you decided that you needed to escape your harsh reality as an exchange student. Besides, you were quite curious about video games, and Levi was the best person to go to for that.
When Levi had asked if you would be his Player 2, he was so nervous. However, he threw his arms up in the air when you accepted, and his little display of excitement was just adorable to you. Nothing really changed between the two of you, aside from the fact that now you would cuddle with him in the bathtub that he uses as a bed. His arms became the eternity you had been searching for back in your world.
One day, Levi woke up to find you missing. There was a note on his monitor, saying that your Shogun had been acting up and you needed to deal with it. He went into the pocket dimension to see one hell of a battle taking place. He summoned Lotan to help, and pulled you back since electricity and water don't mix too well and he didn’t want you getting hurt.
Tumblr media
Satan
The two of you could see that you would get along great. From the first day, you both were together. He would take you to all the book shops in town as often as he could, as the books inside could teach you about both modern and Devildom customs and traditions. You had said you wanted to learn about the new realm you had found yourself in, after all.
After your ‘dates’, he would take you to go get some sweets since he knew that you loved them so much. On multiple occasions, people would mistake the two of you as a couple, but it was those people that planted the seed within your brains. That aside, it was on these little trips to the shops where you would get to know each other. You learned that he hated being compared to Lucifer, and he learned that you were an archon who would choose your people over anyone else. That last bit did sting a tad, but who cares?
When the two of you decided to make it official, literally no one was surprised. However, now you walked arm-in-arm, like a man and his spouse typically would back in the 1950’s. Graceful, elegant, and even a little domestic. Satan liked that last word, as it made him feel like he was Satan and not the Avatar of Wrath; like his whole purpose was to make you happy rather than be angry.
But, one morning, he woke up to see you not sleeping beside him. There was a note left on your side of the bed, saying that your Shogun was rebelling against you, and you needed to put an end to it. Like the others before him, he made it into the pocket dimension to see the two of you fighting, and he did his best to help you.
Tumblr media
Asmodeus
He squealed in excitement when he found out that there would be another member in the House of Lamentation, and you looked absolutely stunning. But, he wishes that you wouldn’t be so serious all the time. There have been a few times where he thought you were boring when you said that you needed to read upon the customs of the Devildom.
So, to solve the issue, he shut the book you were reading and dragged you into the city where you could experience the new world you found yourself in firsthand. He took you to the mall first where he spoiled you to bits. He got you some sweets that he saw on Devilgram, and he bought a lot of clothes for the two of you. As you both were sitting to rest your legs, you told him that you hadn’t had this much fun ever, since you had to balance being an archon and a ruler. This made him determined to make this the funnest experience for you.
You better believe that this man had his entire confession planned out. He filmed it as well so that he could forever remember the moment where you accepted his feelings and love. The many kisses he planted on your face that day was just a lead up to the main kiss on the lips, and now he can say that he kissed an archon.
A few weeks later, Asmo woke up to see you were not there. He let out a whine at the cold, but there was a note instead. It said that you were fighting the Shogun that you had told him about and that you would be back as soon as possible. This caused the Avatar of Lust to worry, so he joined you in the pocket dimension to help you.
Tumblr media
Beelzebub
This man is down bad for you. You know how Denji would bark for Makima in Chainsaw Man? Yeah, Beel’s nickname should be Denji. He is willing to do anything for you. This man shares his food with you. If that doesn’t say dedicated, I don’t know what does. Whenever he has a Fangol game, you are there in the front row and his brothers have to fight for their seats.
His love languages are food (gifts/acts of service) and physical affection, so be prepared for a buttload of sweets and cuddles. He does like going grocery shopping with you because it allows you to get some time alone. He actually got to know more about you this way, and he learned that you were dedicated to your people as an archon back in your world.
When he confesses, it’s more of a spur-of-the-moment deal. He does present you with your favorite snacks, though. It’s in his room as you both are indulging in the yummy sweets that you love so much, and you are just having a typical conversation. The words escape him, ‘I love you’, and his eyes widen at what he said. But you responded with ‘I love you too’ as though nothing happened.
But, the next morning, he woke up to a note on top of him instead of you. It said that your Shogun was rebelling against you and you needed to deal with it. Beel was worried about you, so he found you in your pocket dimension. It was definitely a very serious battle, as he could see you were getting hurt, so he decided that he needed to help you.
Tumblr media
Belphegor
He knew that you were not human, but that doesn’t mean he likes you anymore than if you were. There was a clear difference between the two of you: he hates humans, and you were curious about their customs. He just didn’t understand why you were so curious about them. The traditions changed by the time the next generation came, so there was no point.
But, during one of your deep discussions before falling asleep, you had mentioned that you were an archon and a ruler over some land back in your world. Perhaps that was why you were curious about mankind: you were constantly dealing with them on a day-to-day basis, and you were not one of them. Instead, you were a being that was above them.
When he confessed, it definitely was not planned. He mumbled something in his sleep that you heard, and you asked him about it once he woke up. This man did not shy away from just telling you that he loved you and he had a dream about this exact moment. You were surprised at his blunt answer, but you accepted his feelings and returned them.
However, he was surprised to see that you had managed to escape his grasp in the night, as he woke up to a note saying that you were fighting the Shogun and you wouldn’t be back for a while. The last part made him panic a bit, and he went into the pocket dimension you were in and helped you fight.

Scaramouxhe x mute reader? Headcanins before and after he became a 'god'
NAUR i think that honestly would be so cute😭 protective lover scaramouche who always knows exactly what you want and need MY HEART hc that he knows sign language
and PLEASE tell me if there is anything wrong, i tried researching more on mute people for this because i actually have never met anyone who is mute, so i tried my best😭
Tumblr media
scaramouche x mute! gn! reader
warnings: fluff?? scaramouche isn't as much of a little shit in this as he usually is, he has a soft nonexistent heart, sort of 3.2 archon quest spoilers
Tumblr media
✧ this is the embodiment of "they asked for no pickles" meme if you actually ask me
✧ scaramouche, although far more attentive when it comes to your needs, is still the same little shit you'd expect him to be. just because you're mute doesn't mean you're dumb and you understand him very well
✧ however, the difference lies in how he really treats you compared to everyone else - you're his beloved s/o and anyone mishandling you earned themself a nice warm place in whatever hell teyvat possesses
✧ scaramouche learnt rather quickly what you like and dislike and what things make you comfortable and uncomfortable. there is no need for you to even try and tell him you're feeling unwell, because he'll already be on his guard and leave at the slightest discomfort you might experience - he reads the room too well for someone who usually doesn't give a damn about human emotions and their needs
✧ there are people bothering you? the next day you find them on their knees, beaten up and bruised, begging you to tell your lover off and how they didn't know you were with a fatui harbinger (you didn't even know scaramouche found out about this)
✧ when accompanying him, he always makes sure you're 'heard'. he'd often say things such as "we're going this way" and waits for you to agree to it before continuing any further - it's all about you and what you think. you still have a 'voice', even though you can't speak to him like anyone else, but that's exactly why he puts you above everyone else
✧ a king of non-verbal cues. he's attentive to a point that it feels like his eyes are always on you, taking in every movement of yours and reading you like a book - there is no need for words in the first place. one unsure glance to the side and he'll be there, asking you what's bothering you
✧ while i doubt he knew anything about sign language before meeting you, he put in a lot of effort to learn it rather quickly for you. one, it would make it easier for him to know what you're trying to say and second, he doesn't need anyone to translate it to him nor do you need a notebook or anything else to talk to him
✧ tell him about your day! it doesn't matter how you do it, but he simply wants to see the excitement in your eyes when you go about what you did. he's genuinely interested in what you do
✧ after having received the gnosis and becoming a 'god' in that sense, you clearly saw him less and you were actually under the supervision of the sages who didn't even dare to say anything to you (i mean, your lover was literally becoming their god, what were they supposed to do?)
✧ staying with the doctor of all people wasn't an option either for you. who'd willingly stay with this madman in one room? not you unless you have a few screws loose
✧ if you came to visit scaramouche during his deification, he'd tell you about all the things he knew now - the knowledge he had gained, the things he suddenly felt.. except that he was still your scaramouche, being a little shit about everything
✧ fuck haypasia, his true first follower was always you, the person who was by his side even way before all of this. he had however to commend the sages for keeping you a secret from the traveler thus far. if they found out about you he would've been sure to try and hide you away from them (they could use his only weakness against him, but that would be low, even for the traveler)
✧ he allows you to sit down on these giant mecha hands to bring you closer to him and unless you're afraid of heights, is actually amazing. you look so tiny and vulnerable in his hands but he knows exactly that he can protect you even better now if you needed it (i'm thinking rn, if his arms copy every movement, can the mecha fingers too?? sign language mecha confirmed)
✧ if you manage to establish the same connection to him the way haypasia did, he'd definitely tries visiting you throughout the day, watching you from the shadows and making sure you're okay - this was his gift for you now that he was a 'god', his everlasting protection over you that he promises you
✧ besides that, he can read your thoughts now too, so your conversations would also be a little different from before. sometimes he'd just hold you on his mechanical hands and listen to what you have to say in your thoughts as he answers you whatever it might be
✧ in his eyes, you're beautiful on the outside and on the inside. he can tell from your mind that you're genuine about him and also his goals and it secretly reassures him knowing he has someone to actually keep true to what they promised him - in the end, all he ever wanted was to have a purpose, whether that might be through you or the gnosis he desires so much, he atleast knows that there is one more thing int his world to give him a purpose
✧ unlike any of the false promises made to him a long time ago, he'd make sure to keep them. as for now, he had become a god and he could give you everything you wanted if you just would be a little more patient for him
✧ he has everything he wants now, he finally has the heart he was designed for, he was finally the god he was always supposed to be and he had you, the one person who stood through it all with him up until this point
✧ he'd probably watch over you in your sleep - standing there with crossed arms right next to you, an endearing look in his eyes you would've never thought scaramouche could ever possess and a proud, small smile (he didn't care if anyone saw him, but the naked human eye could not perceive his form unless they were a special case like the traveler)
✧ to say that his ego grew with that realisation would be an understatement, and yet he'd make sure you're okay and that you're safe - even when that pesky traveler, his annoying flying creature and that child archon came to fight him, he'd be sure to make sure no harm would ever befall you and that you were secure and far away

His childhood friend
|Hello everyone who sees this. I'm finally back kinda my writings this is not the work in progress I mentioned before that one is still a wip. I will still be slow but that's no surprise to those who follow me. This will be a childhood friends au. The reader isn't the traveler. Anyways feel free to change the pronouns to fit your own. Please enjoy and have a wonderful day or night.
Scenario: He was typically alone in his youth very few he'd actually call friends. Though you were always there beside him. If anyone dared to say anything bad about him with you around you'd always come to defend him. He didnt care what was said about him but knowing you were there was endearing to him. As you both grew up he developed a bit of a crush on you. How could he not become enamored by you after all you were always there when he needed someone.
Alhaitham x A Male Reader
Warnings: Mentions of bullying, alcohol and being drunk in Alhaitham's, minor angst ending with comfort, some big and small spoilers for archon quests as well as character stories, and long|
Alhaitham:
It's not a surprise to many people to know the scribe wasn't liked by many people. He knew this as well and chose willingly to ignore the comments said behind his back. His senior Kaveh only seemed to add to them but he knew Kaveh wasnt a bad person. While he wasn't liked by many of his peers it didn't bother him much.
He didn't care about their opinions as they didn't matter much to him. Though he'd be lying if he said no one's opinions mattered to him. His long time friend's opinions mattered. More than he'd ever be willingly to admit out loud. They grew up together after all not many could blame his thoughts even if they did seem irrational. It seemed he wasn't the only person that had his eyes on this person. (Name) were objectively attractive and super kind.
He remembers fondly when they had met as he traversed home. The two met because (Name)'s parents were good friends with his grandmother. His grandmother was asked to watch the other for his parents who went on an expedition to the desert. The other wasn't considered a genius by the Akademiya standards unlike himself.
Though their differences in intelligence didn't seem to deter his dear (Name). In fact it seemed he wanted to be Alhaitham's friend even more due to that fact. He wanted to be there to support him or talk if needed. He knew the pressure put on those considered geniuses by the Akademiya. He would constantly ask what Alhaitham was reading and read it too. It'd take him more time to read the book but he was always excited to hear what scribe had thought.
He had a knack for caring for others. (Name) was gentle and caring. Whenever someone got injured hed tend to them best to his ablitlies. Alhaitham remembers back to his akademiya days where (eye colored) male would tend to Kaveh when his senior would get injured.
There were also others who'd intentionally fall in front of him to get his care. He was wildly popular kind of like Tighnari. The abount of people who would do things to get (Name)'s attention. The scribe sometimes wished he was clumsy to be treated by his best friend like others. Whenever he was sick the other would dote on him and he did enjoy it.
Whenever he was sick Alhaitham could feel his gentle hands check his temperatures. He both hated and loved being sick. On one hand he'd receive all of (Name)'s attention but on the other he'd feel awful. It wasn't like he was sick often. He took very good care of himself.
During his time in the akademiya the other could tell when he wasn't interested in interacting with others. (Name) would take any attention off of the scribe and put it on himself. That way Alhaitham could read in peace. It was nice to know someone cared about when he didn't wish to socialize.
The memories soon became a bit bitter for the scribe. His dear friend had been away in another nation for what felt like a long time. (Name) was an amurta scholar that left a year ago to learn about plans in Mondstadt. He only knew the other left when a letter arrived at his desk. During the time he was unable to leave while dealing with the grand sage situation.
Once it was resolved he still had to deal with being the acting grand sage. Which meant he had to deal with the hive mind situation. Not once did he get another letter. His roommate had made some comments about him being more irritated than normal. He brushed off what Kaveh had said of course. Though the architect was the only person who knew of his best friend. His words did have some merits to them.
Alhaitham was typically supportive of the other's academic endeavors however he left without a word in person this time. It hurt him quite a bit but none could tell. Things had finally calmed down for him and as irrational as it was he was super tempted to take a leave of absence and make the pointless travel to Mondstadt. He'd rather do nothing at all if he takes a leave of absence.
It was driving him mad not being able to see him for long. Alhaitham was used to seeing him at least once a day every day. Now it's been a year. The only thing he's gotten from the other was a gift that arrived on his birthday. Thinking on everything made his mood sour a bit.
The dendro user never thought someone could effect him to the point others notice a shift in his attitude. Which he was wrong about both Cyno and Tighnari had told him he seemed longing for something or rather someone. He rolled his eyes remembering the phrases they used. He turned his music up not wanting to hear anything around him.
Alhaitham's thoughts had become too disorganized for his preference. He brought out the book he'd be reading. He still paid attention to his surroundings effortlessly avoiding bumping into anyone or anything. He started to sort through his thoughts. Then something Kaveh had once mentioned became the loudest. "You know if you had just confessed your love he may have never left." Repeating itself in his mind.
(Name) certainly didn't expect to run into Kaveh when he returned to Sumeru. The young male couldn't say he was angry to run into the blond. His eyes quickly looked over the other. "You seem to be same as ever Kaveh. Why are you mopping around this time?" He asked with a smile. There were several comments about him being handsome and shining by those around them. He ignored everyone else and focused on the blond.
Kaveh's crimson eyes widened and he quickly rubbed them as if the person in front of him was an illusion. "You're finally back! Maybe now Alhaitham will finally get off my back a bit. You know since you left he's colder than ever. Not to mention the way you left him without a proper farewell had made his fuse so short. You really couldve parted in a better way. I heard he'd reject several thesis essays for minor errors the week you left." He quickly scolded forgetting about his previous stupor and worries.
The amurta scholar frowned and stepped closer. He pinched the others cheek slightly for talking poorly about his best friend. He always hated others speaking badly of Alhaitham even if the scribe could care less. "You need to stop being so hard on him. I swear your both like fire and ice sometimes. Yet both of you haven't convinced me you actually hate the other. You can't convince you both dont care. After all you both know too much about the others behaviors and moods. However since this past year has clearly been so hard on you how about I treat you to a meal at lambads? Then after I can walk you home and pay him a visit? I got him when i was leaving Mondstadt." He said patting his bag
Kaveh huffed at them a bit. "I keep telling you he's the worst but you never listen. You think that someone who has as much attention as Tighnari you'd find someone else to spend your time with. You know there are several people who requested me to give you their love letters. They all seemed to disappear before I could send them to you." He said rubbing his cheek. The two started walking to the tavern. Their conversations were pleasant and catching up on the past year. Several more passersby comments were made about the amurta scholar.
(Name) was used to hearing them and simply ignored them all. They've followed him since he was a child. They only bothered him when people would comment about Alhaitham. He remembered hearing several people making comments about him and (Name) got in a lot of arguments defending him constantly.
People would say that Alhaitham didnt care about him and that He didn't care and would continue doing it until his final breath. It's not his fault that people couldn't see the good traits of the tall scribe. He would argue with anyone who claimed that. They didn't know him and would just make assumptions about it.
During their outing at the tavern ended with Kaveh becoming intoxicated from the amount of drinks he had. Some wondered if they should contact Alhaitham to come collect him. (Name) reassured them he'd take the architect home amd there was no need to bother anyone else. He dragged Kaveh to the residence he lived in with the srcibe. "Kaveh please tell me you have your key." He said worried Alhaitham may have once again taken it by mistake.
Kaveh in his intoxicated state checked for his keys and realized he had them for once. He also reminded the other that he can't tell anyone of his living arrangements. He handed the amurta scholar his key not trusting his own coordination. (Name) was definitely surprised that the blond had remembered his keys. He unlocked the door and helped the older male inside. His eyes met with duel covered ones.
To most the eyes would seem uncaring as usual but there was definitely shock in them. He gave a smile to the scribe. "So you finally decide to come back and choose to dump a drunk Kaveh on me." The sliver haired male stated. The scribe had a bitterness in his tone. Which earned a laugh from the amurta scholar. "I plan on staying for a bit to catch up with you unless I'm no longer welcome here. If that's the case then I'll put kaveh in his room and leave." (Name) teased. He knew Alhaitham was upset with him but there was no hate in his tone.
Alhaitham admittedly got a little jealous watching the other carry Kaveh. The lighting in the house made him look perfect. The blond's arm around his neck and his arm around the other's waist. "Do as you wish. I know trying to convince you otherwise is pointless. After all you always do what you want. Just like all of those pointless fights you got into on my behalf. There is always the example of you leaving out of the blue despite promises we made." The silver haired male said looking up at the other holding his drunk roommate. There was definitely bitterness in his tone.
"Those fights were not pointless. They dared to slander you." He said. (Name) frowned he knew what the other had been talking about. When they were in their teen years he promised Alhaitham he'd always be by his side.
Alhaitham had graduated and their schedules grew hectic. They saw each other less and less especially while (Name) was working on getting through his studies. Alhaitham had made a comment about how maybe it'd be better if they stopped hanging out for a bit just like others had mentioned. Which seemed to upset the other who vowed that no matter what he'd stay by Alhaitham's side.
Even if it meant doing his assignments in the archive or next to him reading. He refused to give up on their friendship which admittedly warmed the scribes heart. There were a few occasions where the amurta student had fallen asleep when they were reading together due to pulling an all nighter to spend some more time with Alhaitham. (Name) promised he'd always be there for the scribe nothing would stop him.
He gave a sigh remembering the promise before taking Kaveh to his room so they could talk in private without Kaveh sulking over clients he's been dealing with. His guilt for his actions came up as they clearly effected his friend. He shook it off a bit then came back to the living room and noticed his long time friend had already marked his place in his book and closed it.
The silver haired male had his arms crossed seeing the other return. The look in his eyes was hard to read but if (Name) had to make a guess it would be anger and hurt. The room was silent and the mood was suffocating. The lights in the room suddenly became super interesting. Guilt building even more.
"Do you hate me for breaking our promise and leaving Sumeru?" He asked remaining standing. If the other said yes to his question he'd probably rush out knowing he messed up everything. He didn't want to sit anywhere near the other because he was understandably upset with him. "Without saying a proper farewell." The silver haired male added avoiding the question intentionally.
His duel colored eyes watching the other intensely as if waiting for something to happen. There was no sign of him going to respond to the other's question. Those multicolored eyes showing several emotions. Making guilt grow more. (Name) feared that his actions were mistakes.
"I couldn't say by to your face as I would've lost all will to go to Mondstadt. I thought of telling you in person but everytime I felt sick trying to think of the words to say. I needed to do it. I can't blame you if you now hate me or are upset with me. It's super hard for me to say no to you all it would take would be one word from you and my resolve would crumble in your hands. I know that doesn't excuse my actions and you deserve to have been........" as the amurta scholar started rambling he looked away from the other not able to keep eye contact anymore. His tone quiet and sad.
He skidishly made his way closer to the nearest wall. He leaned against it. He knew that he had no right feeling saddened bringing this up. If (Name) was being honest he may have avoided Alhaitham for a bit longer had he not ran into Kaveh. He looked at the entrance wondering if Alhaitham was going to be critical of his reasonings. He completely lost all the confidence he had when he brought Kaveh home.
Alhaitham stood up and walked over to the other. His body was reacting instinctually. He let it too. He felt as though his dear friend would run off the moment he said much. So just as his long time friend was about to continue his ramblings he caged the other between himself and the wall with arms to both sides of his head.
"Stop rambling and get to your point. What was so important exactly that you left for a year? Not only that but instead of telling me in person you choose to just leave a letter on my desk." He said pressing his body against the other's. His eyes met (eye colored) eyes. He was trying to get a read on the other's thoughts but the other was avoiding his stare. He placed one of his hands on the amurta scholars chin and forced him to look at him.
(Name) had no choice but to look into the duel colored eyed man. His heart was pounding in his chest he was worried at their proximity the scribe would feel it. "I wanted to look into something. It didn't have to be Mondstadt persay. Any other nation was fine. Mondstadt is just the one that was approved first so I went there. I was confused on a lot and needed to clear my head. I needed time to think things out. I sorted things out which is why I have returned." He answered still trying to look away to no avail. The scribe's hand keeping his face in place.
"You failed to take my feelings into account with all this. I would've been happy to aid you with what confused you. After all problems have multiple solutions. You never had a problem with me looking over things before or helping you talk through a problem before. Did you actually listen to what others said?" Alhaitham's voice started becoming quiet. His heart was heavy. His hand holding the other's chin fell to his side. He may needed to step away.
"Was leaving really necessary? It hurt that I meant so little that you couldn't tell me farewell in person. I found out after you already left that you were gone. Others had known about you leaving. You told Kaveh in person yet all I got was a letter only. Typically I take promises with a grain of salt. I thought your's meant something as youre not like everyone else." Alhaitham pressed looking at the other. He noticed their face had become red. He figured they must've drank a few drinks with Kaveh. The alchohol must've finally reacted in the amurta scholar's system.
Alhaitham's other arm dropped realizing this fact. He felt heart broken that (Name) couldn't have this conversation sober. His mind was racing with confusion and sadness. Maybe he should stop this conversation cause it seemed to hurt him more than the other leaving him.
He didn't wish to but pulled away. Here he was thinking irrationally again. Bothered about what others have said about their relationship. He was about to walk off but felt a hand around his wrist as if the other knew he was going walk off and not see him for awhile. His normally stoic expression changed for a moment. It revealed his frustration and anger about the situation at hand. "Let go of my wrist (Name). I dont want to talk anymore." He said. There wasnt enough will in him to pull his arm away forcefully.
"You were the one that was confusing me. Alhaitham it was never that you meant so little to me. You mean too much to me. If I saw you I wouldn't have been able to sorted things out and would've gave up on the entire thing. I've always been by your side and I wish to continue that. Which made it hard for me to figure out how or when my feelings towards you shifted from romantic. If it was a problem you could've solved I would've ran to you." (Name) admitted he held on to the other's wrist a bit tigher. As if letting go would cause the silver haired male to disappear from his sight. He was aware of his grip to not hurt the scribe's hand.
The guilt hit (Name) full force. His eyes started watering at the realization of what he did. However he refused to let go. He knew he should and everything he did was cruel and unfair to his dear akademiya genius.
The amurta scholar was super red and looking away trying to hide it along with his eyes. The room had become a suffocating silence again. The scribe looking at him with wide eyes. "How much did you end up drinking with Kaveh? It this some kind of joke you planned. After all you sound illogical. Leaving me to sort that out. What kind of answer did you come to? That you don't need to be by my side anymore? You get attention from everyone around no matter where you go. Why would I matter?" He said running his free hand through his hair.
Alhaitham was surprised his response made the other look at him finally. He saw the tears forming and got upset at himself. He shouldn't have lashed out like that. "I'm perfectly sober Alhaitham. I made sure I would be. I planned on bringing Kaveh home after I ran into him because it'd force me to come talk with you instead of being a coward and running away. After all confessing that I'm in love with you may make you hate me. Being away from you after years of seeing you all the time sucked." (Name) said.
He got a determined look before placing Alhaitham's hand he held hostage above his heart so the other could feel his heart racing. "Please answer my question. Did leaving make you hate me?" He pleaded refusing to feel sorry for himself as he was the one that did this and hurt his best friend. "I messed up and hurt you. If you do please tell me if I can make it up to you. Even if you don't return my feelings I don't want to lose you."
Alhaitham looked at him with wide eyes. He felt the racing heart beat his movements and speech were too clear for him to be drunk. "I do hate you for leaving me because I fell in love with you so many years ago. You make me think irrationally at times. However I can forgive you is you never do that to me again." He said before placing his free hand on the other's face. He gently wiped the tears away.
The amurta scholar tried pushing his hand away. "No I was the one who messed up and hurt you don't comfort me." He whined avoiding eye contact once again. "Then agree to be mine and never leave my side again and we can move past this. I need verbal confirmation." Alhaitham said pressing his forehead against the other's.
"I will always be yours. I'm sorry for everything this past year. I had got you something as well when I was in Mondstadt." (Name) stated. He opened his bag and brought out a neatly wrapped box. And a bottle of dandelion wine. Alhaitham took the items from his hands. He placed them on the table then leaned close kissing the other. "Stay the night." He said pulling away.
"It's so incredibly hard to say no to you." (Name) said pulling the scrib into a hug. The rest of the night went by as a blur. Alhaitham woke up the next day thinking it was a dream but felt something warm in his arms. He smiled faintly seeing his beloved (Name) asleep in his arms. He pulled them closer to his arms. There will be consequences if he tried another stunt he pulled a year ago.

FINALLY, fellow wlw appreciators!!
last few days i kept thinking about Candace. like... she's just so wonderful, amazing, unique character. she is art. she is imperfect in perfect way if you get what i mean (her negative traits only make her better, closer to real person)
recently i assumed she is very similar to Kazuha in terms of poetic speech manner, chill persona and calm&fighting mode duality. so just imagine... Candace gets the opportunity to leave Aaru village for ur honey moon, so you two spend it travelling, and she sees so many new things, does stuff she never experienced... imagine her visiting Dragonspine!! or Watatsumi island.. or Fontaine!
Negative trait? Hm, maybe because i forgot how she's like during Archon Quest, but the only flaw i would say is that she's... overly loyal to her duty, but it is still within reason as well
Anyways, here you go! Presenting to you,
Once in a lifetime
Tumblr media
When you first fell for Candace and knew of her strong loyalty to her hometown, you knew that if you wanted to stick with her, your freedom to come and go so easily would be gone. A trade for a trade, they would say in Liyue.
But for a woman like her, was it not worth it? You may not be travelling as much as before, but it is worth to start a journey with the woman you swore to love and cherish.
Still, to fulfill both your wishes for once, the both of you have decided to set off the day after your wedding night, with the previous protectors of Aaru Village standing guard in place of Candace, as done before.
"Are you ready?" Candace asks softly as you pack your things.
Needless to say, the moment Candace stepped out beyond Aaru Village, she felt a small sense of excitement, like a little kid who just got their favorite candy.
She's been out of Aaru village to Sumeru city, yes. Or at most Gandharva Ville or Ormos Port, but not out of the nation of Wisdom!
Being on a boat, sailing away from her home for the first time... it certainly is a very unique experience for her.
Everyday, she'll be spending at least a good while gazing at the sea, commiting the memory of it into her mind
Water, so scarce in the desert, but so abundant here. Even if it is saltwater
Now, here we will diverge a little.
If you guys go Dragonspine, you will end up in Liyue Harbour first, where you guys stay a night before you travel to Mondstadt
With a guide, and comfortably dressed, the both of you explore the snowy Dragonspine, taking care to avoid monsters along the way as well.
Snow is something the both of you have never seen, so the both of you really had a lot of fun playing with the snow, making snowmen and throwing snowballs.
Thanks to your guide, you also have some pictures of such memories as well.
The both of you mostly stayed in Mondstadt for the rest of the time, exploring the endless greenery that was there, enjoying wine and song for the rest of the time with the lovely people of Mondstadt
If you went to Watasumi Island,
The both of you are very surprised by its beauty. It's like a water paradise, and Candace certainly feels at home because of her Hydro Element.
The grass is purple, the village simple and happy, reminding her of her people back in Aaru Village
You spend the honeymoon roaming the place, having even met the Divine Priestess, Sangomiya Kokomi as well! The both of them have bonded well over their own hydro elements, and how they are both in a way, protectors of their own homeland.
General Gorou also makes an appearance, with him being curious about the foreigners from Sumeru.
All in all, the both of you head home soon after a while with some Watasumi Island specialties, and promises to write to each other and stay in touch
Hooray for new friends!
Finally, if you went to Fontaine...
Think country girl meets the city.
She's probably amazed by the technology present in Fontaine, which even the Akademiya does not possess.
Working machines that act humanoid, or in dog form for some, all even big machines that can have great many functions...
it certainly piques her interest, especially on how it can use various types of weapons as well.
Fontaine is well-arranged and orderly, compared to the more rustic and simple Aaru Village.
So Candace may feel a little out of place, but please comfort her and tell her it's okay, the both of you are just here to sight-see and spend time with each other.
But beyond the main city, it's filled with so much greenery and water as well
Candace would probably have fun diving in the sea as well, it's so colorful and beautiful!
And... maybe you two can sneak a few underwater kisses while diving as well *winks*
And oh the food in Fontaine! Call me wild, but I feel like she'll fall for the sweet treats that they have.
Cue eating as much as she can and getting recipes and deciding to ask the Traveller to send over supplies to make the yummy treats the next time.
"Did you have fun?" You ask softly, on the boat ride back to Ormos Port.
"I did. This was a wonderful time." Candace hugs you closer into her embrace, cherishing your presence.
"Well, perhaps we should get out every now and then. Wouldn't want to keep you all around in Aaru all the time." You boop her nose gently.
"Maybe."
Your lips are engulfed in a warm sensation, as you close your eyes and surrender to the feeling.

THIS IS THE FIRST PART.
idk why but i wanna show tumblr my aranara quests themed custom tarot deck lmao. i finished it in february but since i created this acc just recently, i gotta put it here now. im just really proud of this project and the fact that i actually finished it.
unfortunately tumblr will only allow me to add 10 pics per post, while there are 23 cards, so that kinda sucks. will have to separate em it seems. i'll also explain a little about my choices on these. so here we go, first ten.
Tumblr media
0 the fool - "where the journey begins". i think its already a tradition to put some main figure on the fool card and so did i. glad i used his correct design for the card-
basically theres nothing to explain except for the monarch butterfly symbolism, which usually is a sign of a chosen. not like Arama is any "chosen" in a common sense, but i felt like adding this anyway. 6/10 nice Arama card.
Tumblr media
I the magican - creation and manipulation. Aranimba got here for his exclusive sense of beauty and the will to create the beauty. he is an artist after all.
the story of the bg is kinda wonky. it was at release of 3.4 and due to my disappointment i made a pic where Aranimba points at that shiny cave northwest the mt. damavand with excitement. well, now its a boss enterance, but back then i had no clue, i made it literally at the release day lol. but it worked well on the bg of this card. i think you wouldnt guess it was that cave if i didnt tell, and that was done on purpose as well. 8/10 for backstory, and im proud of this card overall.
Tumblr media
II the high priestess - waiting for the impulse from outside, confidence. first of all, the high priestess to me was always associated with some whimsy loud woman, and if you ask me, this is where Arapacati fits. however here she is depressively hugging a viparyas cuz she kicked her brothers a decade ago and now shes sad. what did i tell u about whimsy woman? 6/10, solid.
Tumblr media
III the empress - the mother, fertility, the birth of a new. THIS IS WHERE WE STARTED, THE MAMA. no need to explain why i put Rukkhadevata here? 6/10, i struggled with this card cuz i hate drawing people, but it came out solid imo.
Tumblr media
IV the emperor - the father, discipline, responsibility. to remind you, Araja is basically the one who runs the Vanarana dream realm, the tree of dreams. he is also here for a very simple reason because of being a big boss here, and looking like one as well. 7/10, nice mustache.
Tumblr media
V the hierophant - attention to visible and invisible, search of the essence. if you ask me why i put Arapandu here, theres my answer - because he was the only major character who didnt have a card in the process of planning. i have some really vague explaination why exactly on hierophant, its mostly because of Varunastra actually, not Arapandu. i honestly dont have any emotional connection to Arapandu, he's kinda boring. 4/10.
Tumblr media
VI the lovers - chosen by heart, determination and aspiration. ONLY BECAUSE OF SUCH INTERPRETATION. im against shipping aranara x anyone.
i think i wouldnt even make any better choice for this card whatsoever. they are here because they share dreams and aspirations and i really love their duet. 9/10 i teared.
Tumblr media
VII the chariot - knowledge of the world, searching for the new. these goofy guys are here mostly because of "searching for the new", even though their methods were unsafe and archon knows what would happen to these dummies without any sense of self-preservation if we werent around. fact: they've been wondering for at least 4 years, but i love to say a decade. nay, theyre just very lucky. 5/10.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
VIII justice - "play nice, and others will play nice with you". this is a card for Nara Varuna specifically and i decided to make both Lumine and Aether so that everyone will be satisfied. since Nara Varuna did nice in the past, all the aranara praise their name in the present.
the bg is again kinda symbolic. these are runes on Varuna contraption: "the water", when the rain pours, for Lumine, and "the sky", when its sunny, for Aether. i only hate how i made them so vague that theyre barely recognizable eh. but overall good cards, 6/10.
THATS ALL FOLKS.
for now. i bumped into images limit. gotta complete it in the next two posts!!!

A God like dance
Scenario: Holding a ginormous feast for the people of Sumeru, you and Nilou make your appearances as the dancers. Little did you know that your devious mind had a great plan, ready to be executed on the spot.
CW: Archon quest spoilers!!~ Probably did not proofread.. again.
A/N: O MY GOD. Guys Im alive! I survived the testweek (though, the results are less pleasant for some subjects~..). I have another exam tomorrow purely for the sake of a Cambridge certificate... So basically, my life has been a mess! (Kinning all Anemo vision holders rn). However, now that I'm slowly getting back on my normal and healthy school pace, I am doing alright! Trying to crank in some fanfics too ;)
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Masterlist
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
"I can't believe the fake God was invited to the celebration party.. How come this even happen?" You looked over to your friend and fellow dancer, Nilou. "The Balladeer? Hmm, I assume it's Greater lord Kusanali's idea." You removed the fabric that covered your face, looking over to the sun that was slowly making its way into the ground. "This great heat is overwhelming.. We should quickly return to the city.. We are dancers, not adventurers." You notified discontent, wiping the pearls of sweat off your forehead. "Well, (Y/n), let's keep our hopes up. At least we've been useful for the Traveler and rest.. The plan worked out eventually!" She smiled kindly to you, making your frown reverse its ways. "I must say, I am pleased with the outcome.. But it's way too warm here. The city has some form of cool breeze." You eventually concluded, on your way to a cart being pulled forth by sumpterbeasts.
"Oh..! What are you doing?" With gracious movements you hopped on board, holding out your hand for the girl and smiled with teeth visible. "It's a lot easier, right? Sir?" You looked over your shoulder as you felt Nilou's hand intertwining with yours, pulling her aboard. "Of course, we're off to Sumeru city (Y/n) and Nilou! Hold on tight." The coachman responded excited, of course.. Your names were known all over Sumeru, the best performers of the land, your reputation was like a golden veil that fell over Sumeru. Eyes observing the desert you were slowly leaving behind, your body rocking back and forth as the cart traversed sandy roads.. You were looking forward to tonight, finally being able to meet that suspicious and human forged deity. As you slowly blinked and avoided sandy winds, Nilou and you reheard the program for tonight, the dances and the freestyle moment where both of you would do anything you like.
The sun slowly set, the theater cozily decorated with diverse decorations which made you feel at home again. Finally being able to put on your dance outfit made you feel relieved, you were wise enough to dress up into other clothes before you would smell sweaty from being tormented by such temperatures.
You finally arrived at the podium, looking around  and observed the crowd of citizens as background  music was already setting the mood. "Dear all..! Thanks for coming, we are very grateful and honored to have you among our midst..!" Nilou begun when the attention had shifting towards you two. But, who could miss the two of you, looking beautiful, colorful and gracious. Dressed with colorful patterns, the stage filled with lights and warm colors. "We hope you'll have a wonderful time here! Please, remember this day as something special!" You continued, the billion dollar smile on your faces made them all cheer and clap in excitement while Nilou and you took on your starting positions. As the music slowly made its presence in the theater, the two of you walked to each other with gentle steps, legs moving along with the beat and hands moving on to the rhythm. It almost seemed as if the entire place was sparkling like crazy, a mixture of beauty and amazing talent seemed to rain down on the people standing there.. Gaping at the two of you as you delivered an amazing dance. While dancing you finally noticed the lot standing right in the center, The Traveler, Al Haitham, Cyno, Dehya.. And this other guy who you didn't particularly knew personally. You and Nilou switched places on the stage, still dancing exactly in sync as your movements were precise and a sight for sore eyes. Calming down everyone, enchanting them and making them all gaze at you was your goal. They were supposed to forget everything, their work, their worries.. This was the final push the people of Sumeru needed according to the two of you.
Your act existed out of something simple yet complicated, you had to guess a lot.. And taking risks was what you were best at, but this mistake would probably leave you embarrassed. Nilou's solo act existed out of a dance and intertwined with her vision she would create a spectacle with a little touch of special effects. You, in fact, were trying something entirely else. This time you wouldn't use your vision, you would be completely independent from it. You would try to make him feel welcome in Sumeru.
With a smile beaming on your face you danced your way to the back of the podium, it was time for Nilou to perform what she was really good at. The lights switched onto her, finally you could observe the crowd in peace. All their eyes sparkled when they saw her, dancing around as it almost seemed as the entire building danced along with her. Her soft face expression when she made a slow turn, facing you for a second, gave you enough courage. You were going to do this correctly.. No doubt necessary! When her dance was over, she subtly gestured you to come forward while still dancing. You made your way in the spotlight again, and this time she faded into the darkness. With a few pirouettes you stood still on the stage, your breath uneven as your hands swayed around. Your eyes fell on the unknown guy, the fake God. At least, that was his alias. You were sure he was something entirely else now. You slowly stepped down the stairs and passed the crowd while keeping your body moving.. With eyes wide open they kept them on you, and with  gentle taps on their shoulders they already moved out of the way for you until you reached the group of hero's. The crowd had made a big circle around you all, a gentle smile on your face while you gazed at the guy himself, he blinked a few times without moving.. frozen on the spot. You saw Dehya poking the Traveler's side, a smirk found on her face as you took the guy's hand and pulled him along with you towards the podium. His entire face turned a bright red shade, you softly chuckled and pulled him close without making everyone realize it wasn't part of the dance. "Relax and follow my steps.." You rapidly whispered into his ear, his hand gently resting in yours as you led him across your territory. Even though Scaramouche had never danced, he seemed like an absolute professional thanks to you. Being engulfed by your radiating skills they did not realize that he took a misstep once or twice, how he almost tripped over his own feet because he forgot that he should've moved to the right.. You were there, correcting him in some kind of way.. It seemed so perfect, as if you had practiced over a hundred times with him for this moment, this night. Your eyes sparkled and so did his, even though he would rather hide it by closing his eyes. But he couldn't, if he knew that he'd get dragged on stage.. He wouldn't even be convinced by The Dendro Archon to come. Well, there he was.. In front of a great dancer and beautiful figure, he didn't even know your name yet.. And you didn't knew his. But still, you were dancing with him and leading him around, whispering what he was supposed to do with 1 word and making it clear with that only. How special you were.
Minutes seemed like seconds, how long was he staring into your eyes again? Star shapes had appeared in them, indicating your mental success for this performance. You smiled once more to Scaramouche, Nilou appearing on stage to cover him up and to give the final dance together with you. He slowly disappeared to the back without you even saying he was supposed to do so, he saw your smile, remembered your smell, felt your aura caressing his own skin.. You turned your head to the crowd again as you gave it your all for the last time tonight. Observing you up close was a great experience, forgetting how detestable he was about the idea of going to such an event, he saw you dancing.. Dancing your heart out, enchanting his mechanic heart without even doing something with him.
Panting the two of you stood in your ending positions, the crowd cheering, clapping and screaming. A performance that would stay in their minds for days, being reminded of such a great starter of the night whenever they'd hear your names or see your faces. You bowed gratefully, waiting for Nilou to say her words before the two of you would leave until you saw some movement in the corner of your eye. You realized, standing on your toes to reach Nilou's ear and whispered something. She giggled and nodded afterwards, you running towards Scaramouche who had been standing there all this time and pulled him behind the curtains.
"Hey! You're being extrmeely rude. I dont even know your name!" He hissed, you stopped running when you were in an safe place to talk peacefully.  "Sorry.. It was an impulsive idea, I know! But.. Atleast you got quite a nice introduction story.. Don't you." Awkwaraly you scratched the back of your neck, your charms didn't disappear even off stage huh? How special. "Oh, I'm (Y/n) by the way..! I think you're the.. One Lord Kusanali talked about if I'm correct? How may I call you?" You asked and looked around the place, the party was just getting started..  You didn't had too long. ".. You can call me The Wanderer, Scaramouche, The Balladeer even. Whatever your heart desires." He muttered, rummaging through some stuff you simply hummed in reply while you tried to find your hair accessories. ".. Sorry, I'm quite busy tonight.. But it was surely fun meeting you, Scaramouche." You quickly flashed him a smile again, standing still on your spot to make sure you'd have eye contact with him once more.
"I assume you'll be at the party out there?"  Scaramouche asked you, slowly walking your way.. Your sparkling presence was something he wanted to approach, to grasp in some way.. "I will.. Nilou and me had decided we'd stay till the end of course, it'll be a fun experience.. As long as I can find my stuff that is, or else I'll be incomplete.." The Wanderer's eyes slightly widened upon hearing your choice of words, incompleteness.  Wasn't he incomplete before? Wasn't he finished a month ago or so, only to be broken down by a God and built up again by his same enemy. "You seem lost in your thoughts, something bothering you?" You asked him out of nowhere, lifting up a few boxes to look under them.. Sadly enough you had no success. "Shouldn't you focus on finding whatever you're supposed to find." He shook his head and tried waving you away, you sighed deeply while placing your hands in your hips and looking around once more. "Well, I can't find it.. So I give up. But your nose scrunched *UP???*, so I wanted to ask if you're okay." You made eye contact with him once again, staring at each other in silence for a bit before you cleared your throat and walked off to another corner. "... I'm fine, you should try to keep your own problems under control." He replied after a while, crossing his arms as he shook his head. You silently chuckled, shrugging your shoulders in casualty. "You can head back already, I wont be doing anything except for searching." You eventually notified, the guy sighed deeply.
"No thanks, I think I'll stay here. I enjoy.. Some peace."

i'm waiting til i finish the archon quest to comment on a lot of stuff but can i talk about the part where we first see childe again in fontaine?? it had me so giddyyyyy if i was lying down i would've been kicking my feet up and giggling. it's rlly cringe and gross and i hate it (please give me more??)
childe zeroes in on aether, shoving one of the guys aside to get closer to him while sounding so excited ToT he ignores the dudes he's supposed to be dealing with in favor of talking about his siblings to the guy he's literally told his family about and ae is just so ready to listen?!?!?? theyre so cute??!?!!?
like do you remember all this???? because i do!! and it's cute as all hell!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
more than anything, childe trusts aether enough with the knowledge of his family, wants him to be able to meet them one day, despite knowing that there's a chance they'll come to blows even outside of their sparring matches.
for a guy who's very protective of his family, he sure does love talking about them with him.
im rlly redundant but i love them so so so much
