We are officially halfway through August… How’s your reading month going so far?? Good, I hope! 🥰 Mine is not going as well as I had planned, (thanks to yet another reading slump at the beginning of the month), but I’m finally reading again, and I’m hoping I can get back on track. *Fingers crossed*! I just recently added *A Lesson in Vengeance* by Victoria Lee to my collection, and I can’t wait to start it! Q: Who's your favorite comic book or graphic novel character?. Anyone who knows me knows I love me some Harley Quinn. Ever since I saw Margot Robbie portray #HarleyQuinn in Suicide Squad in 2016 I've been in love and have been working my way through any Harley Quinn comics I can find! I saw this Birds of Prey comic last year actually when the #BirdsofPrey movie came up, and finally got around to picking it up. The cover is totally misleading, as the Harley inside this is the classic red & black harlequin Harley Quinn. Nothing wrong with that but also not what I expected! My favorite parts of this story were any that involved Poison Ivy - I love those two together, can't get enough of them! Overall this was a fun bind up of 8 Harley Quinn comics and I enjoyed it. What genre would you like to read more of?? And, can you recommend some witchy reads?? . Happy Thursday, Bookworms! Are there any genres that you would like to read more of?? Since Fall is almost here, I’m thinking about all the mystery and thrillers I want to read, but I’d also like to read more paranormal books as well … especially witchy reads! I don’t read this genre nearly as much as I used to, and I really want to read it more. I would LOVE to fill my Fall TBR with lots of books about witches, and the stack above is full of witchy reads! I have mostly been listening to audiobooks and reading ebooks lately… Especially since I’ve been borrowing from the library more than usual this year. How was your reading month for July?? And, what was your favorite read of the month?? . . . Happy Saturday, Bookworms! Can you believe that it’s the last day of July? How was your reading month?? Did you have a favorite read of the month?? 🤓 I had a pretty good month, even though it didn’t go the way I thought it would! Not only did I read my first 5 star read of the year, (It Happened One Summer), but I also started my re-read of my favorite series, (The Remnant Chronicles), and I also ditched half of my TBR to binge a series that was recommended on a podcast. 😂 So, after I finish *Truthwitch* today, I will have read 12 books this month … (ebooks not pictured). Not as good as I had hoped, but not too bad. And I definitely need to get back on my track with my TBR next month. 🥰 How was your reading month?? . . . And a new month means a new book challenge! Do you like to re-read books?? If so, what’s a series you’d love to read again? Or one you plan to read again soon?? . Happy Thursday! Are you a fan of re-reading books? I definitely am! There’s nothing better than falling back into a favorite familiar world and getting to see your favorite characters again. I re-read a lot, but usually only books that I really, really love, or books/series that have a sequel coming out and I need a refresher. 🥰 I definitely plan to start my re-read of *The Infernal Devices* and *The Last Hours* in October to prepare for *Chain of Thorns* to release next March, and I can’t wait to fall back into one of my favorite worlds. 🥰 What about you guys? Are there any books that you are way too intimidated to read?? . . . We’ve made it to Tuesday, Bookworms! How’s your week going so far? Mine has been ok … I managed to finish 2 books yesterday, which was nice, and I got to stay home all day, which is definitely a plus as well. 🥰 (I also get to stay home today so hopefully I will get even more reading done!) 😂 How’s your week going so far?? Good, I hope! . . . Do you ever get intimidated by books? This happens to me ALL the time, and I have no idea why I keep letting it happen. One book series that I am super intimidated by is the *Daevabad Trilogy*… I don’t know why I am intimidated by it, but every time I go to start it, I end up setting it aside. 🙈 And I *know* it’s going to be a great read because everyone seems to love it.
