So it turns out the reason I’ve been having trouble focusing on sewing Gengar is probably because I’ve been super cold (it’s not cold in my house my circulatory system just doesn’t work right). Today my brother lent me his fingerless gloves, and they helped a lot (when added to the hot water bottle/wearing layers combo) but they are too big for me. Fortunately, I can totally make fingerless gloves. Unfortunately, it turns out the pattern I wanted to use called for needles I don’t have, so I’m just writing my own pattern instead lol

Dad: “So do you still hate summer now that it’s cold?”
Me happily from beneath a mountain of 18 blankets, 1 electric blanket, a beanie, 2 hoodies, a heating pad, alpaca socks, and the dog who is also in a hoodie: *muffled* “Fuck summer.”

Okay so i gotta talk about Gen V ep 5 or am gonna explode!
And gotta talk about The Boys S4 spoilers for 2 reasons... 1) something mentioned by Dr Cardosa in the episode and 2) the VoughtHQ twitter leaker... mainly cuz am getting this after trying to check on a leak from season 4... their twitter also wont load for me... like can we just let Becca Saunders rest? Can her poor life stop being milked for manpain??
Spoilers under cut obvi.
First-- off congrats Marie and Jordan I hope you 2 get married and be the power couple this universe needs.
Second here its out Butcher cameo lol. I think this is from S1 after killing madelyn but seeing him in a beanie its so weird altho there is a Homelander article in the same page so who knows.
Third-- Cate you poor bitch!! I felt so betrayed but i dont doubt she its being brainwashed/groomed by Dean Shety so maybe she can be redeemed and her powers are too strong.... i dont doubt that there its a chance she its involved in who appears in ep 6 if thats not a halucination.
Fourth-- Dr. Cardosa mentioning a virus to deal with them... so i guess thats how we r gonna deal with the supe population and why i think the vought hq leak might be real as it mentions the virus as well... i think its super interesting that Vought its developing a virus to kill supes, i guess stan edgar did had a way to make V24 viable despite having supes and maybe a way to get rid of Homelander... by giving him the common cold i guess.
Fifth-- am glad that Maverick is another bisexual king but its the bestiality jokes necessary?? altho I assume his alpaca gf Sloane its just a shapeshifter. So far we got Marie, Jordan, Emma, Cate and Andre as our bisexual monarchs and thats basically the whole cast sans Sam... absolutely iconic Kripke, best apology after fucking up Dean Winchester but i wont forgive you for what u did... still thank you.
Sixth-- the pv for the next ep has fucking Soldier Boy!!! Deep down i feel he its most likely a halucination... saw some ppl theorizing that Cate its mindstorm daughter and she witnessed Mindstorm getting killed by SB so she will use her powers to send them to a mind prison to fight SB which is absurd but i doubt SB its there unless Cate's powers were use to brainwash soldier boy and use him as a weapon in the future, as his powers r too good plus is Vought wants to kill all supes then it makes sense for them to team up with the american govt and have SB as back up while they work with the Superona.
Seventh-- i only now noticed there its a wall poster for homie and loneliness on those school mental health ads which is sad and funny.
Eight-- overall great episode loved how much its happening and its only been days inside the canon, and fuck Rufus! How its the next 3 eps gonna kill me!! Like its too freaking much!!
And finally this shit...
I would not be surprised if this virus is the one being developed in The Woods by Vought, second if this is real then Butcher its a complete pos and a hypocrite i expect the following scenarios of: a) during the time Becca was raped or the wk she went missing thats when Butcher cheated on Becca so its not hatred that motivated his revenge against Homelander but guilt for cheating on his wife... probably with his married fbi plug if i had to take a guess. Or B) Becca learned of his affair decided to have her own affair with Homelander tried to end it which resulted in her S.A. which its why Homelander doesnt see what he did as rape bcuz i guess its not assault if its ur GF/Wife in his mind.
And i guess he takes V or the V24 never left his body unless some Supe can give powers which cause Butcher to use them am so confused is he like a power conduit???
I am gonna say Frenchie or MM will die in this story unless by main characthers they mean any of the Seven, Vought execs or Neuman... doubt Hughie, Starlight, Kimiko or Homelander are gonna die in S4.... but maybe Ashley who knows.
And finally giving cookies to Ryan did like HL saw the tumor felt sad for Butcher and decided to let him see Ryan? or did Ryan just sneaked out and met Billy??

if the cast were to play harvest moon/story of seasons, how would they name their animals and children? how do you name them? (I always name my animal something like cow 1 or chicken nugget)
Harper would name all of them after video game characters... You'd have Midgardsormr the cow... Claptrap the chicken... Godfrey the alpaca... Reinhardt the sheep, ect.
Gavin would name them random characters.. Like fkdsas the cow, or jshngi the chicken, then proceed to actually pronounce the jumbled letters while talking about them .w.
Sophie would actually put time and effort into naming them.. Vivian the chicken, Alexandrea the Alpaca, she'd also have a concerning amount of sheep and Silkie Hens, her fav silkie being named Jolene .w.
Dante would name them all after pets he used to have
Cammi would also put time and effort into naming their animals, but only the first of each she gets... Like her first cow would be Delilah while the rest are just like.. Hamper, Beanie, Broomstick... mostly stuff she just sees around her at the time
Jazz would name them after her friends |D
Me personally I name my animals after plants... Like Dahlia the cow, Corn the Alpaca, Juniper the sheep... except the chickens... I name them after farm tools... Like Hoe, and Rake, and Tractor.. I feel thats fitting for chickens .w.

Imagine a world in which we are all alpacas and the different races were colors of alpacas and there was racism among us alpacas to but in reality all fur is good fur
OK but which kind of alpaca
Why in the world did they use that pic for a Suri when they could have used this one, Suri's are already the overwhelming minority breed show us the majestic dreads
Serousness now tho
Strange animal because literally these are the colors they come in, and you'll never know what colour(s) the mom will have till it's born.
These guys should all get along though, only difference is what other alpaca wool they match with when making a beanie or a scarf

24. I work as a scarer at the Haunted House and instead of fight or flight your first instinct was to flirt for the Luke pairing of your choice because he'd be the one flirting lol
Julie isn't sure how exactly she ended up in a coffin, waiting for the muffled sounds of shuffling and nervous laughter so she could pop out shrieking and scare the daylights out of whoever came in the room.
Okay, she did know, it was the combination of Carlos' puppy eyes and her dad's hopeful look. And honestly, this was way more fun than manning the bobbing for apples bucket, like she did at last year's baseball Halloween fundraiser.
Her make-up was terrifying, thanks to Flynn. Her costume was on point, a ratty white wedding dress splattered in blood. The door to her coffin was rigged so the camera would go off at the same time, making for some hilarious shots that went straight to her dad's computer. He had a little set up with a big screen so people outside could see the photographs of people jumping in fright, without seeing what they were jumping from. For an extra dollar he'd print off a nice copy on some quality photo paper.
Julie waited for her next victims to arrive.
"It's okay, babe, we're almost at the end," a voice soothed. "And then we can eat as much fried food as you want and pet the alpacas."
"Promise?" Another boy asked. They sounded like they were in camera range now. Julie threw the coffin open, shrieking and reaching her arms out while the camera flashed.
There were two boys, one in a leather jacket, who shrieked and grabbed onto the (very nicely toned) arms of the other boy. He shrieked too, but mid-flail, his hand slid behind his head and his "aaaaah" turned into "aaaare you a beaver, because DAM."
For a moment, everything stopped and they just stared at each other. Then, leather-jacket-guy burst out laughing. "Seriously?" he giggled. "We get attacked by a pretty zombie bride who's going to eat our brains and your first instinct is to flirt with her?"
"I can't help it!" the beanie-boy said. "It's instinct!"
"See if I get you a corndog, you asshole," Leather Jacket said. Then he turned to Julie. "Sorry about him, zombie bride, I'm afraid you're going to go hungry. He has no brain, it's all just guitar riffs and bad pick-up lines in there."
"Well," she said, because turn-about was fair play. "He still looks like a snack to me."
The boy with the leather jacket blinked before grinning widely. "Oh, he is." And with that, he grabbed the other boy's hand, who was now blushing and spluttering, and dragged him into the next room, where they promptly shrieked again at another jump scare.
She was definitely going to see if she could find them after her shift was over.

Rainbow Mountain “Hike”
It was completely dark in the lobby of the Kokopelli hostel when I headed there for my 3am tour pick up. The night receptionist was sleeping in one of the armchairs and there were two other guests waiting for the same tour pick up. I began to worry I was unprepared for this hike when I saw the layers and hiking boots the other two had one but reassured myself that the Filipino ladies had done this and been fine! We drove around empty Cusco streets for the next 20 minutes or so but no one was at any of the addresses we visited. Eventually we were transferred to another van with other drivers as apparently this other group were in another town. We were now with our new driver Florencio and our guide (another) Darwin and we drove in the darkness for about an hour and a half. At last we reached the middle of nowhere where our buffet breakfast was waiting. I made up a sandwich with ham and cheese and then also had a plateful of the mini pancakes and fruit that were on offer. After breakfast it was another hour over bumpy roads to get to the Rainbow Mountain parking lot. We walked up to the horse station and I decided I’d pay the extra and take a horse along the longer flat part. I saddled up and Francisco the horse wrangler and the farting horse were ferrying me along the hiking trail in no time. It was very high altitude between 4000-4500m at least in this section and somehow Francisco was able to run back and forth making 6-8 trips a day he said. I had to walk up the last part myself though, it was a steep climb that took about 20 minutes but luckily it had at least warmed up a bit as the sun was out. Once at the top I took some photos without anyone else in them because I was one of the first to summit since the horse had put me ahead of the hikers. There was an old lady at the top with two alpacas and Giada and Leo had told me they’re there for a photo op so I asked to take photos. I tried to give her my phone to have her take a photo of me but she couldn’t figure out how to use it and apparently she didn’t understand even Spanish. Darwin later said that these old locals actually only speak Quechua as their primary language. A little bit further up there was the sign for Mount Vinicunca at 5,036m above sea level. I could feel the heat coming with the rising sun as I sat and refueled with some snack biscuits so it was time to switch from beanie to cap. The hikers of the group arrived and Darwin explained how the rainbow mountain got its colours from minerals - red from iron, yellow from sulfur, and green from copper. During a heavy rain the colours will wash into the mountain rivers too to colour them. Next we paid the extra 20 soles and walked through to the Red Valley which we all agreed was actually a better view than the Rainbow Mountain. We passed through a small fence and then we’re immediately enveloped in huge bright red mountains in all directions. About 100m down the trail we arrived at a viewpoint where we could sit and appreciate the views for a while before heading back down to the parking lot. It was very steep and with loose rocks so going down in my regular shoes was difficult and took a long time before I reached the flat part again. I was ahead of the group on the way back but after I stopped in the bathroom for no more than two minutes I was then the last person back to the car somehow! We drove back to the same restaurant where we ate breakfast and a buffet lunch was ready for us. I plated up some rice, chicken, potatoes and veggies and went silent along with everyone else who were also starving and then we loaded back into the van for a two hour nap for the drive back to Cusco. As soon as we arrived back in the city I headed for Cafe D’Wasi for a coffee because I had no energy left in the tank. I showered and packed up my things tidy for tomorrow’s departure and then laid down just as my new roommates for the night arrived. Three Argentinian ladies Mechi, Belu, and Martina chatted with me for a couple hours about their plans and were trying to convince me to make my next trip Argentina!
