Hello sorry to drop in randomly but i saw that you reblogged the glorious rejected soulmate au post and i actually found a fic on AO3 based on the prompt. I thought you would like to know about it? Its titled "Danny Phantom and His Stupid Fucking Soulmate" by lets_get_this_salmonella. Its only a couple chapters in but ITS SO GOOD. I loved the prompt and am so excited to see where the fic goes.

Oooh I'm so excited to get one of these, thank you for asking @simblr-question-of-the-day. I'm pretty all over the place with my cc because I have far too much, but I know at least I do have my favorite genetics.

I almost always find myself using the gingerbread skin blend by @ghostputty - it strikes a good balance of details for me without having to add any tweaks - plus it has like 24 options so heaps of variety.

For eyes, I have the Meloncholic Reverie defaults by @elysiantrait, and I finally got on the default skin replacement train and am using Thuja by @nesurii - which is beautiful btw.

For hairs - I usualy find myself reaching for @daylifesims' bundles cos they prefectly match sims across the alpa to maxis spectrum - for me at least. I do like this hair from the Britney collection.

Rapidfire round - I like @twisted-cat for brows & makeup, and I've used the melanin love blush for years - just found out it's made by an inactive creator, taffeite on TSR. I've started using a hairline skin detail by Seleng far too much and though my bank account isn't set up for Loub shopping in real life 😭, I always give my girlies the Louboutin Pigalle Follies by @dallasgirl79 for special occasions. or any occasion really.

Finally, I got round to fixing one of my favorite cc dresses, the Hugo Boss inspired Natasha dress from @theslyd. I use it for every lowkey wedding and the black swatch as a socialite-type party dress far too much.

And to complete the challenge after all that, I've made a sim - my simself, only my second ever. She's decked out in in some cc by the above mentioned creators. Thanks for making it the end xx

In this AU basically, Sougo has to force himself to use his time powers to fix the villain mess, become a Homura but less bad (he is still sane but still needs therapy), also pull a Mei

Sorry if this not making sense at all, I forgot most Zi-O lore cause I hate it with my every being, just not the main characters but that hypocritical of me cause most of my AUs tend to not make sense. Also, i kinda rewrote the whole Evil Sougo here cause he so lacking in canon that i changed him a bit too cryptic but still a bad guy nonetheless. Also this AU kinda made it in my dream and I just had to continue it cause its ruined my concentration in class lol. (also the angst probably from my projection to my comfort charas so i am so sorry about that too)

Before we start how the AU happened, I need to explain that this AU is kind of different than canon or just the basic HCs of this AU

Basic Hcs: 1. The Main Riders have found a family joke but turn real (Mom and Dad are Emu and Shinnosuke, the kids are Takeru, Sougo, Ikki, and Houtaro, and the uncles and the aunts are the rest of the riders), Sougo is a theater kid beside he can do ballet, Sougo is a history nerd, Sougo in the past being bullied before because he wants to be a king in middle school before high school so he never talks about it openly again. And how do they meet together? Let's say because of the crossover movies, sometimes they meet for a reunion or fight for a world-ending fate again or beat up Tsukasa lol.

The summary of AU: some new villains want Sougo back to being an evil king to destroy other riders, and they do it by changing the past or rather trying to kill the main riders in the past, Sougo knows this by someone trying to warn him and use his time powers despite he trying not to use his time powers other than time-stopping, that someone also said to never said this anyone even Geiz and Tsukuyomi or he get the biggest regret of his life. Sougo has to force himself to use his time powers to the past to stop the villain while making the past riders not know what he is so he makes a somewhat villain persona for it. He also changes his style for this he even changes his hairstyle and clothes so no one knows it's him. Also, that someone is Hiden Atsuya, a future adopted kid of Fuwa x Aruto who secretly helps break Sougo's fate since these villains are from his timeline and other future kids.

This timeline is in 2024, meaning Houtaro is here too and Sougo is 24 years old.

His villain persona: not too talkative unless he wants to talk cause he doesn't want to give hints from the future, very quiet, very stoic, he is a good person but his persona feels like a quiet jerk, this persona is inspired by his mentor and dad figure, Tsukasa Kadoya.

For example :

Past!Shoutaro: Hey, who are you?

A!Sougo: ….

Shoutaro: Answer me!

A! Sougo, quietly said:…Protect your loved ones to your heart, Hidari-san…

His appearance disguised is his hair braided on his left side, has a lot of bandages on his right eye, and sometimes wears a hat sometimes not, his clothes are black/blue pants overall with a double layer of white/grey shirt. Sougo wears a pair of worn-out black combat boots as part of his disguised persona.

Sougo starts this journey is very optimistic but also wary cause he doing this alone this time, after several loops where he fails a lot of times and has to use his time to rewind the past to normal but he has to make the past riders forget his existence in the past and kinda losing it so when in 23rd loop, he tells to Geiz and Tsukuyomi but unfortunately, like the kid tell him.. It did make something bad happen like a world-ending scenario. He hates to see the dead body of his mentor lying on the ground, he hates to see his older brother's dead body near a river, he hates to see his parental figures' bodies lying on the streets, and he blanks out when he sees his lover's dead bodies. After that loop, his eyes start to dull but anyone in the present doesn't notice Sougo's weirdness until the 50th loop.

Sougo routine most of the time now is present timeline-past-go back to the present timeline so everyone becomes suspicious that Sougo suddenly disappeared most of the day (surprisingly they noticed after the 49th loop cause Sougo can act very well) to encounter this, Sougo made to redo the first day when he starts to go to past to prevent the villains and that day be his ‘checkpoint’ so anyone not sus about it.

The villains are psychopaths, they claim that they are very loyal to Oma Zi-O than to Time Jackers. They tried to do the same thing to Sougo’s daughter but she was very stubborn and the villains came in a bad timing like literally the baddest timing ever when her dads, her mom, her Nana Emu, Grandpa Shinnosuke, and other granduncles riders out there. So they had to resort to another plan, which made Sougo's life miserable to make him guilty of the villains so he forced himself to give in to the fate he had to face years ago.

1-22nd loop!Sougo: still optimistic but after some loops, he is kinda tired about it. This whole shit made him eat less but not too less, he was just not very in the mood to eat.

23rd-80th loop!Sougo: His eyes became dull, lost his sense of taste, got tortured by the same villain via the electric chair, and had to kill the said villain, always on the run then going home, sometimes getting a mental breakdown of what he did, he feels guilty to have erased his senpai and kouhai memories too much also kill someone. In mid of the 60th loop, he has hallucinations and nightmares of his senpai.

81-99th loop! Sougo: Lost his mind but his sanity is still intact, he somewhat embraces fate but at the same time does not, he reaches out to his bad future self, Oma Zi-O to give him the true potential of his powers despite his chances of being an evil king will greatly increase and his future self surprisingly give him. He plans for his own king's ‘execution’ after this whole thing is done. Also the villains found out to break the time loops mind erasing shit at 85th loop and the Riders demand answers from Sougo sometimes leading to fighting, Sougo had to force himself wrapped by his villain persona and get up but at one time he break his persona once. He mutters that he rather save them than not do anything about it so he calls himself a sinner or a liar once he defeats Geiz and Tsukuyomi.

I don't know what to explain anymore so i write the all WIPs of minific or/and songfics that I thought of, and not in chronological order sorry and sorry i totally take some HoT convo from chapter 17, sorry for the ooc and not making sense in this goddamn AU also sorry of my bad writing:

1.

“I think this is the first time you have reached out to me even go to this timeline as well..” Oma Zi-O said, this time, he used a younger body with his left eye bandaged. He looks at Sougo with empty, cold eyes yet his expression doesn't fit him right now

“Are you no longer afraid of these powers?…” He asked him

“I don’t know.. I feel I am not afraid anymore ever since 81st loop” (Sougo)

“If you continue to tread this path, you will find yourself falling deeper into the abyss” warned Oma Zi-O

“……I don’t care, I will take care of it all” Sougo replied

“You will lose everything, your family and friends will no longer trust you” (Oma Zi-O)

“It’s doesn’t matter to me anymore, I always alone..” Sougo replied he embraced the fact he always going to be alone.

“You will leave them forever..”

“…”

"You won't be around them anymore, see their smiles, or hold their hands."

“It’s okay, I already know what I am getting into…”

“There is no turning back once you get into this path, are you sure is this your choice? ”

“It’s doesn’t matter… Senpai will take care of them but this is something I must do.. I already made my choice”

“Then so be it..” Oma Zi-O gives Sougo the true potential of his powers.

Tsukasa looks at Sougo with deep rage. Sougo’s eyes were in horror. Shit, keep calm Sougo.. Keep your goddamn persona in check!

Sougo feels Tsukasa’s weapon at his head. Sougo’s trying not to cry. “Now, Sougo.. Tell me, why are you doing this?..” His voice is empty, cold. Clearly, He doesn’t trust Sougo right now. Sougo’s eyes become dull. Shoutaro noticed this and is now worried for Sougo.

Sougo got saved by his bike that actually can ride on its own, is his bike sentient or something??

Tsukasa, Shoutaro and Shinnosuke suddenly got summoned to future by Oma Zi-O.

“What do you want..” Shoutaro asked

“…………Make sure to watch my younger self back”

“Eh?” Shinnosuke was shocked.

“What do you mean by this?…” Tsukasa asked

“I'm just curious about his future after all, if it ends up with him being evil king again.. It will be just boring and… Every evil king always gets executed in the end” And at the right moment, a guillotine drops. The three riders jumped a bit and now realized what the evil king meant.

“Sougo planned to end this once and for all, and by that… He plans his execution”

“Huh, I didn't know you could care, why do you ask us this..” (Tsukasa)

4. (More of a summary than a fanfic but yeah) also this like the end of 100th loop

Finally, Sougo did it and defeated the villains on his own at least this time didn’t kill anyone and let the future kids handle them. Now, he is on top of a building, the tallest building in the city. He can finally execute his execution. He can wipe his timeline that made him an evil king but the idea of living scared him like what if this fate gets him again, watch his loved ones suffer from his fate, he just rather disappear and never come back. Sougo takes out his braid and the bandages off then takes the final leap.

The songs that fit Sougos:

He closed his eyes until someone took his hand in that fall, it was Takeru. Sougo in shock and scared, why did Takeru follow him, he didn't want Takeru dying with him, it was supposed to be his ‘execution’ not Takeru too. He realized he made Takeru cry, he felt guilty he was the reason that he crying right now. He doesn't realize that he is being saved by Inves plant and passes out when Takeru and him back to the rooftop.

5. (totally take this from Honkai Impact)

Sougo put Geiz's unconscious body to the wall. "You and Tsuku saved me from that fate, so i return the favor. If saving you is a sin then i'ii be the sinner..." Then Sougo left.

"Oh come on, are you guys replaced his bin after all these years?" I giggled when I walked out to the balcony of the motorhome seeing the two Alpa Tauri driver sitting in a foldable bathtubs. " And you have the numbers on the tub too. Incredible." I laughed pointing at the side to the tubs.

"If we are doing something than we are doing it the best way." Yuki giggled from the left tub while scrolling on his phone as Pierre took his hand out from the tub and grabbed mine. It was really cold on my hot skin. The weather started to get a little bit berable but the humidity made it just so much worse. It was a really good idea from me to bring some flowy dresses so it would not stick to my sweaty skin.

"Even it's so hot I would never sit in that tub."

"Not even if I'm in?" Pierre lifted one of his eyebrow taunting with a cheeky smile on his face. Before he slapped my butt a tiny bit causing me to jump up. While Yuki from the other tub made a fake gagging noise. "Yukino, you are just jelaous. Close your eyes because you are way too young for this anyway." he laughed before tried to splash his teammate from the other side of the balcony.

"Kids, stop it. Actually I came up to let you guys know that bathing time is over, you should get out and start to jump into your suits for the free practice." I pionted at oth of them before I checked the time on my phone trying to show them they have to hurry up.

"What did you say? She is becoming our new whacker because she is doing amazing job with commanding." The japanese driver got out of the tub but quickly got quiet when I threw the towel to his way and it hit his face perfectly. Pierre started to laugh out loudly and grabbed the other towel from my hand and started to dry himself up.

"Don't let me get started on command you in Hungarian. Chop, chop little one!" I clapped my hands together making him ran down on the stairs. "You too hot stuff." I turned back at to the other driver who was looking back at me with a flirty smile on his lips. "No, don't look at me like that with that smile. " I shook my head before I swallowed a big one. My eyes were roaming on his upper body, watching as the small water dropplets were shining on his torso, running down on his hairy chest all the way to his white swimming trunk.

"What smile?" He teased as he stepped closer before I lifted my arms and planted it on his cold chest, feeling his heart beating fast under my palms. "My babygirl can't resist my body, huh?" He had that mischiveous look in his eyes pairing it with the most cheeky smile ever. His handsome features got turned into a cheeky little boy's feature that I just adored so much.

"You know really well that I'm unable to say no to you, especially if you are shirtless. And as much as I want to keep staring at you, you really need to start preparing because you will be in trouble. And I don't want it because of me. " Running my hand up on his chest all the way to his neck before I started to play with his gold chain. Pullint him closer to my body by the chain.

"We will continue this" He leaned closer while he looked in my eyes. For an answer I just hummed as he caught my lips with his for a small but sensual kiss. "Can you please look after it? While I'm out there." He asked before unlocking the chain from his neck and dropping it in my left palm. I smiled and nodded while I bit on my lower lip as I watched him winking at me and started to walk down to his driving room for changing.

I giggled when the free practice was over and he finished with the interviews and came back to his drivers room, where I was already waiting for him sitting on the massage bed. He started to giggle and grabbed on my arm pulling me up from my seat and closer to his body to hug me tightly, hiding his face in my neck. "Putting all the jokes to the side, I know the problem why you have got on fire." I circled my arms around his body.

"Oh really and what would it me?" He mumbled while he was littering my skin with butterfly kisses all over the crook of my neck.

"Before you got into your car, you did not came to me for the pinky promise." I pouted and I felt his shoulders going up and down while he giggled. "I'm not kidding. It can really mess up a race like that. We can't risk it anymore"

"You are right Amour. I won't forget it okay. But can we add something to the pinky promise?" He pulled away and tilted his head while he moved some hair out of my face. "I want a good luck kiss next to my pinky promise." He leaned closer and pecked my lips.

"Hmm I think we can manage it." I hummed in to the kiss and I closed my eyes and leaned my head to his chest after it.

"Oh can we add one more thing? Maybe a good luck sex? Or good luck head?" He joked and I stepped away from him and boxed into his upper arm.

"Do you want to have that just right before you get in the car in the garage?" I lifted my brows up waiting for his answer.

"Uh, I don't think FIA would like that idea. Nor my team." He joked while he was chuckling and started to pull down his racing suit. " Also noone can see you on the moment while we are making love. The only person that can see your face while you are having an orgasm is me." He winked and I felt the heat rising up to my cheeks. " I still have some meetings to get done with the team, if you want you can sit outside, Charlotte said she will come by to see you."

"Oh okay, that's good. I will go and find her then. " I got up from the small massage bed and started to walk to the door. Before I slipped out of the room I slapped his bare ass which was answered with a big yelp and a laugh.

"So how do you like the race?" Charlotte asked as we were sitting at a table both of us playing with the straw of our drinks.

"It's still feels like a dream. Like for real. I'm on a race, in a different county, and I have a Formula 1 driver boyfriend. Pinch me that I'm not dreaming." I giggled as I leaned closer to the straw and took a sip from my drink. We were quietly chatting away before Charlotte excused herself when she got a phonecall that had to take, I was scrolling on my own phone waiting for her to return when a group stopped next to our table and pushed a microphone into my face.

"Hi, hello. Sorry for bothering you. We would like to ask a few question from you Gina."

"Me?" I leaned back on the chair surprised.

"Yes, you are the hot topic now between the girlfriends of the drivers. We know that about you that you and your siblings have a pub, which is going pretty well, especially since the Hungarian GP. Our first question would be, how does it feel like to be in a community like this? Like as we have learned from you, that you have not had this privilage before."

"Excuse me?" I was really confused by her question and the taunting vioce that she was using.

"Like we know that you are comming from nothing, and now you are driving a really expensive car, traveling around the world and as we can see you could manage to get a new bag too." She was pointing at the bag that I have got from Pierre with a mocking tone and a sarcastic smile on her lips. "As from our resource you always struggled in your life before.

"Is everything okay?" Pierre asked as him and Charles arrived at our table, with furrowed brows looking at the three riporters in front of me.

"Okay, I don't like the dragging the other person in the mud kind of situations. And definetly don't agree with the fact that a fellow woman ask a question like that from me. " I pointed at her as I leaned back in the chair. And crossed my arms in front of my chest. " So, let's start again. Everything I have now, I worked my ass off for it. I studied for it too. I worked at two jobs when I was in university so I could pay for my flat, my studies because I have had to pay for that one too. It is true that I have not had a privilaged life before, had to built everything up from zero. What I think is a 100% better than having everything dropped in my lap. "I looked straight into the riporters eyes with blank expression on my face. "About the car you were talking about, I saved up for my car, I bought it from my own money. Which I have had to repair, it was not a fully new one. And I have had it many years before I have even met Pierre. If you would do a good job, you would know that.... " I raised up from my seat and stepped away from the desk on the way where the guys were standing" If you have any more questions you can ask them tomorrow, but at least do some research before so you won't ask stupid things. Use multipule resources not just one, and maybe try to rethink how you ask the question so you don't come out as a uneducated and rude person. Have a great night." I smiled sweetly before I stepped away from the table and grabbed on Pierre's hand. "Please don't say anyting, let's go back to the hotel. Please." I whispered as I tried to pull him away from the table with shaking body, the adrenaline was just pumping in my veins.

"What just happened?" Charlotte asked as her and Charles caught up with us going down between the motorhomes all the way to the parking lot.

"My girlfriend just totally burned some riporters." He giggled as he pulled closer to his body.

"Your PR team will be so mad at me.. I acted like a bitch." I shook my head hanging it low as we were walking.

"No, come on. You have made a point to them. Like you made sure that noone should think that you have everything just because we are dating." He stopped and grabbed both of my hands and turned me to the way of his body to make sure that I was paying attention of him. " Like for real. Noone should talk to you like that. And you have handled this situation really good."

"Can you pinch me?" I asked which really surprised him

"Why?"

"Just to know that I'm not dreaming and a bunch of reporters were just really trying to make some gossips about me just like about big stars." I giggled and he shook his head and started to walk again to the way of the car that would take us back to the hotel.

"You are just so cute when you are amazed by something. Your eyes shine in a different way but it's just cute on you." He ran his fingers through my hair before I turned to face him with a huge smile on my face.

" I know it is kind of normal for you to fly around, like for normal people like me is driving. But I just still cannot wrap my head around that I'm flying on a private jet which I go to Japan with... It's just incredible. I'm really thankfull for it. " I grabbed on his hand and squeezed it. " I have some ideas to show you how thankful I can be" I leaned closer and whispered in his ears. As my lips were touching the shell of his ears I could see the goosebumps running on the back of his neck and his breath got hitched on his throath.

" We can still get into the mile high club, if you want to doll." He had a cheeky smile on his lips as he turned to the way of my face and whispered back in my ears. His free hand were gliding up on my inner thigh, drawing shapes with his fingers on the material of my jeans. It was the best cat and mouse game we have hahd going on, sometimes I felt like I can win, when I saw him that he got intimidated for just like a second before he bites back with a cheeky comment. "Bad thing we have your team in here." I leaned back in the seat and grabbed his hand which has wondered closer and closer to the button of my jeans. "Behave boy." I patted the back of his hand and started to play with the rings on his hand. He sighed and sat back closing his eyes while he smiled.

When we thought that he have had a bad race weekend last week we were wrong. The practices in Japan were bad but the sunday was even worse. It was heavily raining, the have post poned the race, everyone was running around in the paddocks looking at the statistics and the screens about the weather. I thought the best is if I just sat back in the corner of the garage, with my headphones on.

"Be careful okay?" I have had my pinky extended to his way when he walked closer after the team received that the race will start soon. "As always mon ange." He smiled and grabbed on my little finger and squeezed it before pulling me closer and kissed me. I sighed in the kiss feeling his body closer to mine made me relax a little bit.

"See you later Pedro." I stepped away and sat back on the stool. He stepped closer one more time and planted a small kiss on my forehead

"Last time it worked, so keep this secure for me, so you won't scratch your little hand." He dropped his necklace in the palm of my hand before he walked to Pyry to grab his helmet. I put his necklace on, and instantly started to play with the cross on it as I was watching him getting ready. I was anxiously rolling the cross medal on the gold chain back an forth as I was wathcing the screens. Cars was slipping from left to right on the track, some of them ended up on the barriers. I looked at the mechanics as they were swearing about FIA letting them on the track like this when I heard his angry voice through my headphones. I snapped my head back to the way of the screen, I held my breath as I waited for him to say something else. A long cursing and shouting was followed by when he passed by the crane which were trying to pull the car off the track. My grip on the necklace got harder and I felt as the side of the cross was biting in the flash of my skin on my palm.

I waited till the cars came back to the garage and saw him jump out of the car pulling his helmet and balaclava off and started to shouting with the members of the garage, and he stomped to the side of the track where the strategists were sitting. His voice was loud and he was gesturing with his hands. I was still sitting on the edge of the stool waiting for him, and only got off when I saw him walking to the corner of the garage where I was. He just looked at me and nodded with his head to he way of the hallway. I jumped off the stool and walked behind him, when we reached the corner finally away from the curious eyes of the media he just turned and grabbed on my upper arm before pulled me closer to his body into a bone crashing hug. I wrapped my arms around his waist and pushed my face into his chest. We stayed like this before I finally felt my lungs are burning because I held my breath for that long.

"I got so scared..." I whispered and grabbed on the racing suit on the back of his and pulled him closer which was physically not possible, due to that our bodies were already pressed together.

"I'm so angry." he whispered " I could have died"

"Don't say that." I pulled back as I was shaking my head. He grabbed the two sides of my face and looking deeply in my eyes " At least nothing happened to you, and that all is mattering." I grabbed his hands and pulled it down to my lips and kiss both of his palms. "All of us just got scared. Just be careful okay?" I smiled at him trying to reasure him that everything will be fine. "Come back to me in one piece, yea?" I winked at him before I got on my tiptoes and places a small kiss on his lips. He turned back to the way of his car and I leaned back to the wall and let out the huge breath that I was holding.

“So are you gonna call your parents and your loved ones?” The reporter asked before he stepped away from the microphone

“Yes, I will do it just now.” He smiled and took his phone out as he started to walk away searching on his phone. I was watching him aside waiting for him to finish with the interviews so we can go back to the hotel.

The text appeared on my phone’s screen as it was buzzing in my hand, I looked up confused at him as he stood in front of me.

“Why are you calling me?”

“Just pick it up.” His smile was cheeky and his eyes were shining. I was still pretty confused but I lifted up the phone to my ears and accepted the call.

“Hi, so why are you calling me?” I asked giggling. The whole situation was just funny and absurd.

“The reporter just asked me if I’m gonna call my family and loved ones. And I have had to call you.”

“Okay, but I’m not family you should have call your mum first she was pretty upset about the race.”

“Yes true. You are not family, you are my loved one.”

“What?”

“If something like today's event happens in my life that shows me that life can be over just in a blink of an eye. I always remember that I have to say to the people in my life that I care about them and that they are important in my life. Gina, you already know that I care about you a lot. You know that you are really important in my life. As I said you are a loved one in my life. "He put down the phone and shoved it in the pocket of his jumper before grabbed both sides of my face. His eyes were shining, as he looked depply in my eyes. "Because I love you." after he said that three words my brain just shot down. I felt the heat rising up in my body all the way to my cheeks, my heart leaped forward and now it was thumping fast."I can tell you in other languages too. Szeretlek." My eyes filled up with tears as soon as he said it in my own native languge. I wrapped one of my arm around his neck as I put my other hand on his cheek.

"Szeretlek Pierre." Huge smile spread on his lips mirroring mine before he leaned down and crashed his lips on mine.

"Je t'aime" He started to kiss me all over my skin and between each kisses he said the sentence in different languages he knows. I was gigling loudly as he got closer to my neck. I betwe looked like two teenagers who can't keep their hands and mouth of each other, but I was just so happy. I felt like that now finally my life is back on track, I could just forget some problems I have in my life, and just enjoy every moment that I have with him.

The Velodyna Gatekeepers had been doing so much better despite a few initial reactions. From people just saying let the bridge burn, to others screaming at the Captain to go back to where she belonged. With Data being the one to help Alpa officially, appointing J'olhmyn as her second-in-command.

Nobody else had as much faith to get her pushed forward than the two of them, save for an Ananta herself, willing to risk life and limb for all that Alpa had done.

Whilst many had been accustom to showering the Bard with special praise and thanks in honor of the Resistance up in Rhalgr's Reach, there were . . . others who were not so keen on trusting what looked to be a barrier between the real and what you were allowed to see.

Data wasn't immune to the disagreements amongst teammates and supposed comrades, and just because one would hold down the urge to start a fight when another was becoming stubborn, didn't mean they were any closer to becoming official friends.

That didn't mean Data didn't try, that didn't mean Data didn't believe they were worth it. Liun'a was no different.

Data had been given opportunity to see to the white griffins that stabled themselves in the corner of the site, when he heard something from behind him. One of his ears flicked and turned to catch the noise, only offering a head turn. Over the shoulder, and he saw it.

The white hair, the eye patch, the large bow. One thing was for sure, the Miqo'te himself wasn't afraid to approach him, but he didn't necessarily like the idea of the Warrior of Light hovering around the tribe. Data respected him, but he knew it likely was an awkward situation due to the slightly known history regarding the Keeper before him.

"Facade?" Data asked, keeping his hand on the reins of the griffin until he was able to take them off, rubbing his fingers through their beautiful kempt feathering. "What do you mean?"

He could see ears pin only slightly as he folded his arms over his chest, but there was no anger or frustration written on his face, just confusion.

Oh.

The facade of the Warrior of Light, all smiles, all helpful, all caring and all generous.

While those traits were not a bad thing and Data was far from expressing them in a less-than-genuine manner, but that didn't mean that was all he was feeling. It tucked itself away, buried itself so mercilessly inside him that, if you managed to catch a glimpse of how he was truly feeling, you'd simply want him to go back to what he was.

You are the Warrior of Light, you give people hope and peace.

But gods forbid you dared to ask for some yourself. "It's not a facade, I want to give people happiness and peace as much as anyone here. We're all fighting for the same thing. I understand though, I get it." His feet laced in sandals stepped forward, while Liun'a stepped back.

It was not intimidating, nor was it threatening, Data simply wished to close the distance between them, bridge the gap. He stopped, and the other's ears pricked forward.

"You wonder what I could gain from all this. My plan, my desire, what I ask of all those I hope to help." He took a well needed heavy several second inhale, then exhale that didn't give itself much time. "The answer is nothing. I don't stand to gain anything from helping others. My times helping you, keeping you safe, is because I think you deserve it. Whether you trust me or not, whether you believe me or not, that doesn't matter. I see you as a friend, even if you see me as someone who aims to push those less than me down. There are no people less than me. I see you as an equal."

That may have not been enough, so Data gently made it known that he was walking passed him but not staying more than he was allowed to. He knew that it would take awhile for Liun'a to find any semblance of friendship with Data. Given where he'd come from, his quick surrender and the guilt that claimed him a bad ally and sworn enemy, words did not take precedence over actions.

"I feel the pain others have felt, I understand the hurt they go through. If I could stop it, I would. I just want to show others a friend. A family, a home, that they can come back to. The things I keep locked inside me are my own burdens - this is the face I will wear. The world is cruel, selfish and unforgiving, but we do not have to be."

And then he was gone.

“It certainly isn’t,” Luke says.

“Against the Code, it is.”

“I know,” Luke says.

“I’m not sure I approve of this at all.”

“You tell me that a lot,” Luke says.

“Call yourself a Jedi, you should no longer.”

“Probably not,” Luke says.

He hasn’t stopped grinning this entire exchange. He doesn’t appear particularly contrite, despite what his masters say. No, he merely sits there cross-legged, hands clasped in his lap, wearing a smile that carries just a hint of mischief. Both Obi-Wan and Master Yoda look deeply displeased.

“The teachings state–”

It seems that Luke has had enough, because he raises a hand to silence Obi-Wan. “I know what the teachings state,” he says. “You’ve both told me them. Multiple times. Ahsoka has as well. So I think it’s time to tell you that I’m not going to follow them all to the letter, because I honestly think some of them were detrimental to the Order. Furthermore… can either of you truly stop me from calling myself a Jedi?”

Both Obi-Wan and Yoda exchange twin looks of frustration.

“You cannot just call yourself something!” Obi-Wan grumbles, folding his hands into his sleeves.

“Would you rather the Order die out for good?” Luke murmurs.

There is a brief but poignant silence.

Yoda sighs. “Important for balance, the Order is. Do without it, the galaxy cannot.” He looks up at Luke with a deep frown. “Approve of this decision, I also do not.”

“Nothing else will change,” Luke says. “I’m the only Jedi in the galaxy. What difference does it make, truly? Besides, I’m good at multitasking,” he adds, trying for humour.

It works on Obi-Wan, who muffles a snort, earning himself a glower from Yoda.

“And the child?” he asks.

“My padawan and my son,” Luke answers, as if everything is unbearably simple and Obi-Wan and Yoda are utter fools for not considering it.

As if on cue, a head pops around the doorjamb, ears twitching curiously. Luke turns with a smile.

“Grogu, come see your foremasters,” he says, holding out a hand. Grogu wanders over, happily settling in Luke’s lap, peering up at them with enormous eyes. The two old men visibly soften at the sight of him – it’s hard to stay stern in front of Grogu, which makes disciplining him very difficult indeed.

“Hello there, little one,” Obi-Wan says warmly.

Even Yoda smiles fondly. “Remember you from the creche, I do. Smaller, you were, you have grown much.”

Grogu giggles. Masters! he coos in the Force, clapping his hands.

“And what say you to this, hm?” Yoda asks. “Approve of your master’s decision, do you?”

Luke chuckles. “This wouldn’t be happening if it wasn’t for him.” He strokes one of the child’s oversized ears gently, and Grogu leans into the touch.

“Well, if Grogu says it’s alright…” Obi-Wan says with a wry tilt of the head, to which Luke responds by rolling his eyes.

“It’s not that,” Luke says, and he finally sounds serious. “It’s that… while I acknowledge that they have sometimes blinded me in the past, I won’t forsake the people I love. I spent nineteen years without my sister–” Obi-Wan has the basic decency to look somewhat ashamed, at that. “–I won’t let her go again. Or my nephew, or my friends. Or Grogu and Din. I’m human, I’m sentient, I… feel. I love. I’m not pretending it doesn’t exist.” He allows himself a small huff of amusement, as if it’s all very ironic. “This is the Way.”

Obi-Wan sighs. “It would be cruel now, I suppose, to make you forsake them,” he says. Yoda frowns at him, but Obi-Wan merely shrugs, and the vision of him ripples, looks younger then, less weary. “Would it not be cruel to remove an ad from one of his buire?”

Yoda groans. “Far too sentimental, you are, young Kenobi.”

“No,” Obi-Wan says primly, “that’s Anakin.”

Luke watches them banter with fond exasperation, until he can sense a familiar presence step into the room.

“Meditating?” Din asks.

“No, just entertaining guests,” Luke replies. Grogu squirms and he lets the child go, lets him hurry over to Din, eager to be picked up.

“Oh, well, I can certainly see why you’d marry him…” Obi-Wan mutters, twirling his moustache appraisingly. Yoda whacks him in the knee with his cane as Luke splutters.

“Ben!” he exclaims, face turning red.

Din, helmetless, raises an eyebrow as he settles Grogu in the crook of his elbow. “I’d ask, but the answer would only confuse me,” he says wearily.

“You don’t want to know,” Luke grumbles, getting to his feet and heading over to plant a kiss on his cheek. Grogu waves as the Force flows, and two presences that Din will never know were there take their leave.

If I, by any chance, mentioned an uncommonly used Filipino word and asked you what its meaning is, can you provide an answer?

Uh-oh... I bet you can't!

But don't worry, friend! It's totally fine! Because in today's generation, it had become normal for us to not understand these uncommonly used Filipino words, given that we have been influenced by other countries and nationalities. We tend to forget the words that originated from our own country and didn't even know that they existed.

However, let us not normalize forgetting, ignoring, and paying no mind to things that made us Filipinos. So fellow Filipinos, here are 10 uncommonly used Filipino words that you may be clueless about! <33

Definition: To become free; to break loose

In a Sentence: Gusto niyang umalpas mula sa kalungkutan. (She wants to break free from her sadness.)

UPIS 7-12 holds Miting De Avance

Students and candidates for the 2023 Elections from the University of the Philippines Integrated School attended the Miting De Avance last Tuesday, May 23 at the UPIS Gym.

The University of the Philippines Integrated School (UPIS) has begun a new season of selecting student leaders to head the Pamunuan ng Kamag-Aral (PKA) and Year-Level Organizations (YLOs) for the upcoming academic year of 2023-2024.

Parties “BUKAS ALPAS!,” “cheriSCh,” and “Hayo!” were able to campaign after the face-to-face classes.

Online Miting De Avance: Freshman Association and Sophomore Association

On the other hand, the KALASAG party and Kalinaw party, running for seats on the Freshman Association (FA) and Sophomore Association (SoA) respectively, held their Miting De Avance online since students were not required to attend school as they had remote classes that day.

Below are lists of candidates for FA and SoA:

For the in-person meeting de avance, the three parties present were those running for Batch 2027's Junior Association, Batch 2026's Senior Council, and grades 7-12's Pamunuan ng Kamag-Aral. The opening remarks were given by grade 10 COMELEC student officer Rachelle Marie Bueno.

“BUKAS ALPAS!”, the running leaderboard of incoming grade 9 students, indicated their party's main projects--the Junior-Senior Promenade, a Halloween party, and a batch picnic. Several other projects were also mentioned such as mandating “Let’s Go Linis”, which is a cleaning initiative, and putting up an honesty store.

Candidates running for seats on the Senior Council, under the party “cheriSCh” shared the projects they envision such as “Tara Aral” — an in-person group study session. Presenting themselves as outgoing and committed, other initiatives were also mentioned including building a “memory wall” and a “drop box.”

Lastly, this year’s PKA aspirants named “Hayo!” presented their objectives of continuity, innovation, welfare, and involvement. The main project they intend to focus on is the annual “UPIS Days” with its sports festival, school carnival, and merchandise fair. In addition, an honesty store was proposed, as well as the leadership camp, which aims to promote cohesiveness in the school through a discussion of student leaders across grade levels.

The parties had an opportunity to introduce their running parties, present their future visions, and propose plans to enhance the school’s environment through a video presentation.

Each campaign video was then followed by an open forum wherein the candidates were asked to answer some questions from the audience. Before the event ended, Mr. Mark Joseph Euste, head of the UPIS COMELEC, gave guidelines come election day.

Elections were conducted on May 24, whereas, the official results were posted on May 29 on the UPIS PKA Facebook Page.

Am I the only one that's noticed that AW & Seb are NEVER mentioned in anything other than pap walks? There's NEVER a DM sighting, a Twitter or IG, that has had them out together. He was spotted a few times this week, w Chace and by himself, WITHOUT HER. Even Chris & Alpa have sightings out together but the last one AW & Sebastian had was last summer, leaving a restaurant. Either they go out in disguise, or they ONLY go out when the paps are arranged bc there's no way they never go ANYWHERE or are not spotted when they do / wow, I answered to this on insta but since you repeated it here, let's go again: his sightings with Rick and Chace are from before AW even arrived to NY. There were multiple sightings throughout the year after summer, all discussed here. The main sus point of CEvans' fans has always been the lack of sightings with Alba, literally nothing before their recent Portugal trip. And, finally, if the only times we saw them together in 1.5 year was pap pics (July, August, December, March, May), you wouldn't be so triggered by AW's presence in his life... their couple content is almost always here, this past month was the longest silent era so far :)

The Peoples Democratic Party chieftain, Bode George, has once again slammed the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu. George described everything Tinubu has attributed to himself as "bundle of lies".
