had a dream we got requited wincest and it was the most beautiful thing actually so now you all have to hear about it:

They were on a misc case and at the end of it there was a (kinda obviously gay) kid who survived and they ended up bringing him along with them like they do for a while when there’s a sole survivor and they were sitting outside (park bench? cafe table? I don’t exactly remember) and he asked Sam how he knew/when he came out

And Sam just kind of sighed and was like “yeah idk i just kinda fell into myself when i was younger and i felt like it wouldn’t make sense to try and pretend like that wasn’t the person that i was” or something sweet to that effect of like living with yourself and loving yourself

And the kid was like “yeah i feel that” and went on to share his experience of knowing he was a little different

And the whole time Dean’s just sitting there taking it all in silently, learning and growing and then when the kid’s done with his story he goes “yeah, i mean.. i’ve never actually come out before.. it never really occurred to me that i could or… should…” in his scared little small voice looking very pointedly at his hands and then up at Sam whoms already looking at him with all the wonder in the world

And they do that thing where they look at each other and eyefuck for a minute but this time its like they’ve never done it before because they’re putting the pieces together in their minds and Dean leans in like he’s gonna kiss him right there but Sam’s quick - he knows if they start they might not stop and the kid’s still right there across the table - he grabs the side of Dean’s face and kisses his forehead

And Dean starts trembling, tears nearly spilling over and he grabs Sam’s face and hauls him down to kiss his forehead and then he does the tears do fall

And then cut scene and they’re in their motel room lying next to one another making out (very tender rock music playing obv) and the lights are off and you have to strain to notice but Dean’s hand slides into Sam’s half unbuttoned shirt, Sam rolls on top, the camera pans away….

And then the next scene is the morning and they’re lying in the same bed, up against the headboard, not touching but not avoiding one another either - just talking - and we see Dean just listening to him talk… falling in love with him over and over and over again and letting it all wash over him that that happened and this is his life, he’s not dead he’s not dreaming, Sammy’s actually right there under the blankets with him

Anyway…… I’m gonna go write this because it’s driving me insane

I could write a whole essay on madoka magica hell I could write 10 essays on madoka magica but one thing I will never shut up about is while the art style of the show itself is generally relatively boring with the except of the labyrinths which are artistically brilliant, they always choose the more interesting composition of the shot. The art style being very cutesy and kind of simplistic adds to that impression that it is simply another magical girl show and that you aren't going to have to see the horrors lurking beneath the surface. But it's art style isn't like that JUST for the shock value later on. It just reflects the world on the surface, how the girls at the beginning see it, just how the mishmash of collage and designs in the labyrinths reflect the mind of their witch and reflect the chaos of the world. But even when its focused on that very top, very surface level understanding of its world, it manages to keep itself relatively visually interesting by keeping it's composition interesting.
