Day 22 - Overwhelming

Dream is so unused to ― this, as he and Hob kiss, soft and sweet, Hob’s hands on his face, and Dream can feel a myriad of calluses and scars on those alone. Hob is leaning over him as they continue, and Hob’s been happy to go along with whatever pace Dream desires ― which at this case is glacially slow, because the world today is a lot, and Dream expects the other shoe to drop, as the saying goes. For the Kindly Ones to show up and take Hob away, which he would try to stop, even with how limited he is now. 

Hob sighs into his mouth, a nose nuzzling his cheek as one of his hands is brought up to Hob’s mouth, kissing the back of it softly. “You’re thinking very loudly, you know,” Hob mutters, turning his hand around to press another kiss into the lines on his hand, so recently made with this body. “Do you want to stop?” 

There’d be no objection if they did stop, Dream ― Morpheus, Morpheus would know, and he groans, flopping down onto the bed. “No. I want to,” he groans, annoyed with himself, mind trying to seep into the ocean of minds that were in his care and finding nothing, which he’s still getting his now only-humanoid self around. 

“How about I try my best?” Hob says with a grin, and Morpheus blinks, giving Hob a confused look. “To get that brain of yours to stop.”

Morpheus scowls, “you can try,” he says petulantly, making Hob laugh again, brown eyes glittering from the sun shining through the windows. 

“A challenge, then!” Hob says enthusiastically. Hob presses a kiss to the palm of his hand, nipping kisses put onto his pointer finger, and Morpheus’s breath hitches, eyes widening as Hob puts the finger in his mouth, tongue swirling around it, Hob making a pleased sound. Frozen, he watches as Hob puts another of his fingers inside, gasping at the simple feel of it, of teeth and a hot tongue scraping against his skin. His fingers are pulled out, Hob nosing and kissing them, “how am I doing so far?” 

Hob gives him a hint of a smirk as Morpheus swallows, his body somehow arching towards Hob in between all that, “good,” he croaks, voice rough as his hand twitches, lightly touching Hob’s beard in wonder, body sparking with pleasure as Hob nips at the inside of his wrist. 

“Could do better, though,” Hob mutters, to himself mainly as the inside of Dream’s arm is licked and bitten to, skin blooming red under the teeth and scrape of stubble. There’s a hum as Hob’s nose presses into the hem of his shirt, brown eyes dark as they stare at him, and Morpheus’s heart skips a beat. “Can I?” 

Morpheus blinks, finding Hob’s hands on his hips, fingers scrunching up the edge of his shirt, “yes,” he breathes, only managing to find warmth as Hob’s fingers take up his shirt slowly, the rough hands making him gasp at the feel of them ― and Morpheus can almost feel how solid Hob is, how unmoving and stalwart he is in the universe, driven by his lust for life as his shirt is taken off. 

“You’re very sensitive,” Hob whispers against his skin, mouth going up to his shoulders and across to his collarbone, and Morpheus lets out a sound as a stripe is licked up to his adam’s apple, “I like it.” 

Dream’s hands twitch, holding onto Hob’s arms as his neck is bitten into, “this body is new,” he manages, overwhelmed as his mind is only filled with the weight of Hob on top of him, the scents of books and ink, of Hob’s cologne, lemon and bergamot as Hob nips at his jaw. 

“I really have to stop myself, at times,” Hob says, nails scratching down the sides of his torso, and Morpheus shivers as they drag back up, thumbs pressing into his nipples and Morpheus gasps, arching up into the feeling. “Take things at your pace, but your sensitivity drives me crazy, in the best way.” Morpheus whines as Hob’s lips go down instead of up to his own lips, hot tongue licking around his nipples as hands go down to the edge of his pants. “Can I?” Hob asks, eyes black and lips red as his stubbled jaw rests above where Morpheus’s heart is.

Morpheus gasps, not realising how hard his cock is, leaking underneath the fabric until Hob brought attention to it, a thumb pressing into the skin above the button of them. “Please,” he breathes. Hob smiles.
