Auriga is an ex-Meteor "Knight" who was personally trained up (and in the loosest definition, raised from when he was a young teen) by Sirius because he showed exceptional prowess as a Pokemon trainer.

Sirius disallowed Auriga from getting friendly with anybody and treated him with little patience. He never even called his protégé by his birth name, solely referring to him by his Meteor code name (which caused Auriga to only identify with his code name instead of his birth name which he hardly remembers). He trained him to become a cold-hearted and powerful trainer, though he was never allowed his own team—he was given rental Pokemon for missions, instead.

Sirius, Solaris, and Elias routinely drilled into Auriga’s head that Team Meteor was his family and he owed them for everything; therefore, he was expected to be completely loyal without question. However, the few times he spoke to Taka or Luna, plus Luna escaping and running away, one day, had him question this loyalty, and eventually added up to him defecting from Team Meteor and running from the Reborn region, for a little while.

Soon, though, he returned, determined to stop Team Meteor from carrying out their plans and ending them for good. From the moment he set foot within the region, he worked restlessly to fight Team Meteor at every corner, sometimes to his own self destruction. He uses prior knowledge and his own wit to maneuver through his journey.

Unfortunately, he doesn’t know who he is without Team Meteor, either. He can’t confidently describe what it means to be family, he hates to be left to his own time when he’s not chasing Meteors or training to defeat them, and has difficulty talking to others who aren’t/weren't part of the organization.

Prefacing this with the information that the legal drinking age in Japan is 20 years old bc it's important.

OKAY so at first we were only shown that it's the third years who go to Rui's bar. This made me think, "Oh, I guess that'd make the third years a bunch of 20 years old, at the very least. So Darkwick is like a university?"

But then come Episode 6 and we were told that they don't actually serve real alcohol at Rui's bar. Not to mention we saw Ritsu getting fussy about a bar in the school grounds. This made me think, "So Darkwick is a high school? Everyone here is a minor?? Which is it???" (※To be fair, Ritsu was only fussing about the existence of a bar and not the possibility of underage drinking cmiiw)

And last, Episode 8. Here we saw Taiga ordering a martini一an alcoholic drink. And when Ritsu came to fetch him, he didn't scold him about underage drinking so that means Taiga is at least 20 years old (Ritsu warned Jin about Swords and Arms law when he took out his artifact so if Taiga really is underaged, Ritsu would definitely scold him).

But what caught me truly off guard is when Ritsu snatched the cocktail and drank it himself. Ritsu "Stickler for the Rules" Shinjo is drinking alcohol. There's a few possible explanation for this a) Ritsu is of drinking age; b) Ritsu is making an exception and broke a rule bc he's exasperated with Taiga (less likely considering how much of a stick in the mud about rules he is); c) Writer Team's mistake.

I'm leaning more to a), which means all of the first years is also at least 20 years old. That makes the second and third years in their early twenties. So Darwick is still a kind of university? Or does age isn't one of the parameter to enroll there?

Do you ever think about how Fakir, after him and Ahiru finally broke everything that kept the town of Goldkröne in the ghostly hands of its writer, after they finally have some air of peace over the town finally being able to live in its intended early 2000s environment, that Fakir still feels at times like it's not real and that for a while he fears that if he closes his eyes it'll be back in Drosselmeyer's control. Like it just doesn't feel real to him during that first year of calm, until he feels the dull pain on his recovering hand injury and Ahiru who follows him without a pendant anywhere to be found.

He doesn't feel it's real, the calm finality of this town, but he makes sure to feel the scar on his hand. And he makes sure to hold the little duck and realize that she is who she has always been. Him and the town are finally living peacefully.

college au roachghost where ghost is an architecture major and roach is a communications major:

they meet as first years who are randomly placed in the same dorm and end up just liking each other a lot and move into an apartment together after a year and just hang out with each other all the time and play video games etc. as they've spent more time together over the course of a couple of years they've gotten more and more physical with each other. it started out with just little touches here and there but eventually progressed to leaning on each other all the time, sitting pressed right up against each other, lying on the couch cuddling (like lying on top of each other style) to the point people think they're an item but they remain woefully oblivious to/don't particularly care about what people say about them

one night they're just hanging out playing 1v1 katamari damacy and roach is beating ghosts ass at it bc its his favorite game ever and ghost keeps moving closer and closer to him to try and distract him until hes fully sitting in his lap, chest to chest. roach is distracted by the game and doesn't even question why it makes him feel so good to have ghost so close to him like that, too caught up in lovingly teasing the only person he's ever let touch him at all. no one's ever touched him, let alone this much, but he just laughs and half-heartedly tries to look over his shoulder to keep playing, he giggles when ghost does as he leans forward and starts giving him shy kisses on the neck, subconsciously tilting his head to the side to give him more space. he doesn't even think twice about kissing back when ghost makes his way up to his face, kissing over his cheek and finally starts kissing him in earnest; it feels like the most natural thing in the world to have ghost on top of him, hands on his thick waist pulling him closer while ghost pushes him back into the couch cushions, leaning even more of his weight onto roach, getting his hands into roach's hair and sighing softly against him when he feels his best friend hug him tighter, and roach is so happy to be sharing himself and his space with the only person he's ever trusted enough to let get close
